Very bright, more colors than the Chauvet version plus you get a remote control!What's not to love?It's much ligter weight than some of my older lighting units. I'm buying a second one for my New years eve show.

This light exceeded expectations, and I will purchase another. I should have purchased more than one to begin with, but being unfamiliar with the brand, I tested its performance with one purchase. I also purchased two other lights of similar caliber from other vendors, and I can say this light was superior at this price point.I DJ'd a graduation dance in a 1000sf area, and this light, placed in front of my rig on the floor, threw light straight up, out and to the left and right, reaching all corners of the room. It was bright, fun and enhanced the party immensely.

Great light purchased 2 of them. One of them the microphone does not sense sound so well. Not sure if I'll go through the hassle of sending it back. Both mounted well to my DJ light stand.Update: October/2016. Darn they are bright, still going strong. I used them at weddings and clubs. Some places they are so bright and cover so well that I would have to plug one out and only use one at the facility. At one bar I play at they have several huge lights mounted and they are no way close to how bright the laluce are. Very happy about this investment. On my pole I have 2 of them and 2 mini cheap lasers mounted. I also use a fog machine with it.

Solid product. Just got it. Works perfectly. Taking it to a gig tomorrow night. Will update review after that. I'll add a video once I figure out how.Updated: Used it for that gig and many after and have had no problems with it. Puts on a great light show and fills a decent sized space. I just picked up a second one (and the price is lower now) because I feel you need at least to so you get some crossover from them to create more energy in the room. Oh, not sure if this was a fluke but it fell once from about 6ft in the air onto a hardwood floor and kept on working. I don't suggest doing this but mine survived the fall.

 Once I received this light I was a bit skeptical. I have many name brand lights is use for events or parties, and this "off brand" fixture had me double guessing who made it! Once you plug it in (Plug and Play guys) the entire room just lit up in little multi color specks! then they started dancing everywhere, once I looked over the remote and discovered you can put specific patterns and lights on I loved it.My personal favorite is the PGR colors on low speed, but you can choose RWB, OYW, or all the colors on at the same time. Although I do not recommend doing so, and its fairly bright, and a little overwhelming. The music modes are quite responsive to low and high music, but its more of a flashing sequence. I prefer the auto mode, flicks between speeds, and colors.I will be using it at my next event for sure. This light is optimal with fog and highly recommended. I have given this product ★★★★★ (yes 5) because its affordable, bright, basic, and full of all sorts of colors. It is also strong and all metal casing!  I wanted to share with you a comparison of the Laluce light against the more popular Chauvet Mini Kinta. Both lights are quite good with a great "WOW" factor. The price difference between the two brands is dramatic. You can get two of the Laluce lights for the price of one Chauvet mini kinta with the optional remote. Both lights have pretty much the same modes. They both have DMX. Both lights are metal. Both have cooling fans. The Chauvet light comes in a fancy printed box and the light is labeled. The Laluce product comes in a plain card board box. So what are the differences between these lights. Well to answer that, not very much. The Chauvet light has a safety hook. You can buy the same hook at a hardware store for less than a dollar. The Chauvet light has a power outlet. Ok, we will give them a plus 1 for that. However, the Chauvet is only 4 colors. The Laluce is 8 colors. I would say that is a plus 4 for that! Both lights are very bright and fun for your party. The Laluce comes with a remote. The Chauvet will cost you an additional $25 if you want the remote. More pluses for the Laluce light! The cost of Chauvet mini Kinta for the new version is currently $89. So the light and remote will cost you $114 for the Chauvet light. So that means you can buy 2 of the Laluce lights with remotes (that means you have 2 remotes) for less. We have several products from LaLuce. Their products are well built and a great value. Their customer service department is very good. So, before you buy that Chauvet Mini Kinta, consider the LaLuce light. We purchased these for my inlaws to discourage a very large Owl (about 4' wing span) from spending time under their covered entry by the front door. Every morning this beautiful but annoying owl left a very large mark that needed to be scrubbed. We had tried tack strips but he didn't care. These lights were in-expensive and WORKED! But the bulbs in work lights and they spread out to some surrounding trees. He's in the area as he's been seen (we're keeping them going at night for awhile) but not landing. If you're looking for a fun party look-it will work for that as well.

This was beyond my expectation! Wow, two of these filled a room with so much light! I screwed one into an overhead ceiling fan light and the other into a portable desk lamp. They were just perfect! I would highly recommend these to anyone wanting to add a super cool lazer light/ disco ball effect to their party. I love how they turned without any issues!

Hey, I was having friends over so I ordered this on a whim. I have a recessed light over my dining area that this thing fit into and it's basically a mini, multi colored disco ball! For the price, it was a fun way to enjoy a get together. It fits all standard light fixtures, it's silent, and for the price was a cool find. Liked it so much I bought another one! There's a lot of other novelty lights that are more expensive, you can't go wrong with this one. I have only had mine about a week or so, I will update my review if it dies but so far so good!

These bulbs are amazing and versatile. A bit too large to put into some lamp bases with lampshades (the bulb is oversized and would need a wide and taller lampshade harp). But all in all a great product. I ordered several and have already given a few away to friends who REALLY liked them.

We bought this light for our tom cat who lives in a make shift bedroom off our kitchen. I built the room for him because he attacked our female cats and began spraying. We gave him to our daughters boyfriend, but they didn't make it so the cat came back. It the meantime the cat was put on Prozak and stopped spaying, but he does spend a lot of time alone and is a very sweet cat. We try to play with him at least two hours a day, but that is not always possibe. In comes the light. We installed it in his room because we read that cats love moving colored light. Boy does he, we turn it on right beefore bed time and leave it for about an hour. He sits on his post and is facinated by it. Best money spent on Amazon so far!

This little light is a party to go! Awesome colors, and to think it's so easy to install into almost any standard light bulb fixture or lamp. $13 is a good deal. Be advised, it does not work on light bulb fixtures with a dimmer, only on/off types. In the correct placement of this little party light, you can definitely light up the whole room. Used this for a NYE party. I'm very satisfied with it.

Not too bad for the money. I run this light at the same time I run my Kinta for a balanced effect & yes the Kinta is way better. What this light has going for it is a whole lot of color. What it lacks - the simple back and forth motion, seems so limited. Also the beams of light are really thin (thru the smoke) which isn't necessarily a bad thing. For me, it's still a nice addition to my extensive light collection as I like to switch up my lights all through the DJ gig.

Very pleased with this light. It was a big hit at the party.

Used this for a small party, and it went over well. I will say that it doesn't take a huge light space from a shelf, or standing lamp, but if you can get it low to the ground, I feel it would have a larger light field. It worked like I needed it to work, so can't complain.

I bought 2 of these and they were fantastic. My guests all complimented on how they set the party mood. 4 stars because one of them had fallen apart by the morning. I suggest to tighten the end screw of the dome after every use to avoid it falling apart.

These were great disco lights! We used this under a portico for our wedding to give it a more festive dance feel. They worked as advertised! The reason I have it 4 starts instead of 5 was because 1) it has to be pretty dark for the LEDs to be truly visible and 2) when tried them at the rehearsal dinner the screw came loose from one of them and the plastic reflector piece fell and hit someone on the head. Just make sure the screw is tight and you're good to go. We turned them on at 7pm and ran them until 10pm with no problems.

I like it but... it is very fragile. I bought 2 of these to use at youth event but thats all they lasted. The lighting is amazing but the quality of material is cheap plastic. I accidentally bumped them as I was taking them down and they broke. If you are careful with them they are amazing all that being said the price is right that I will buy a couple more but I will be extra cautious this time around.

Some people who ordered this light stated that they received on that squeaks or makes a noise when it is on. I decided to order 2 in order to increase the odds that I would get one good one. Well, I received one that made a noise (rather loud) and one that was silent and worked perfectly. So I say it is a gamble. My son did take a part the squeaky one and put it back together and it still made a noise- but not as pronounced. We used the one that didn't make a noise for our birthday party and it does make a really cool pattern on the walls and ceiling.

Inexpensive, but fun.ConsFragileDoesn't provide great coverage. To get even 1/2 the room it has to be on the floor on on the ceiling in the center of the room. My only option is to put it light by the side of the room. So the coverage is a small fraction of the room. If I put it down on the floor I could get better coverage, but it would be taking up dancing space.The clear plastic dome will fall off if you are not very careful with it.While it's not perfect, it's so inexpensive, it's worth it.

Very noisy, will not turn off the cooling fan when lights are off, so you have to unplug it. Too expensive for that.

It's great to have a remote controller what's not so great is when you press off the lights turn out but the fan runs continuously for days loud using electricity every time you want to turn it off just bend over and remove the plug out of the wall basically your only option

Very decent light for the price. But NOT very bright. Fills in light in room well, but it is not a feature light. In my opinion it does not replace the katana mini or any higher end fixture. But for the price, it is a decent light to run all night long.

Yes it was cheaper, has more colors and a free remote. The mic for sound active is weak it's constantly loosing sync. The adjustments to colors don't maintain. I wanted only blue green and purple. But always goes to all colors. And remote uses channels that my American dj lights use, but not for the same functions. It's a good light for playing with at home. But not club ready

I had high expectations for this device. They have thus far not panned out. When I took the box out of the Amazon shipping box the bulb box fell apart.Perhaps it's not fair to judge a product based on the quality of the glue used to hold its box together yet I am concerned about the mid to long term viability of what seems to be a very delicate product.It's light output is limited and is far inferior to other devices in its price range I have seen elsewhere.Nevertheless it's a compact easy way to add some light "excitement" to a small space.Will update when it stops working which I am have a gut feeling may be soon.

You get what you pay for with this product. Its a cheaper material as well as build, easy to break as well as could easily spontaneously stop working. I got two of them. The one that was treated better still works about a year later. Cool designs that rotate!

This was a nice light while it lasted. It stopped working after 15 months. It was used for several hours a day two or three times a week while the kids played video games or hung out. Not bad for the price but I can't give it more stars due to the short life. LED's are supposed to last a long time so I believe it's the internal electronics.

Product is really neat when it works, but if you get one and it stops working within a week or two , don't expect any help from the seller. The reply to me, was to buy another one. I did and it's still working after a couple of weeks.

I thought this would change colors, but it's all the same 3 colors combined. The kaleidoscope feel is soothing and pretty, but it gets boring after a little while and would be nice if there were different modes. It only works facing straight down or straight up, since the dome part has to rotate freely on the center pin and if it's at an angle it gets stuck. But it was cheap and the kids like it ok.

I ordered 3 of these as gifts. Only 1 of the three rotated and we had to wait for that to warm up before it began rotating. We left the other two on for over a half an hour and they never started rotating. We will be returning those two. With that said, the one that did work was amazing! My 1.5 year old loves it and I will try an order more to see if those work.

Purchased this product, but all modes did not function properly. This item has three modes in which its lights respond to music. In the case of the item I received, one of the modes was completely unresponsive. The box became unresponsive and the lights wouldn't function at all. I returned it and received a full refund.

Not that cool and the remote doesn't really work as good like it gets stuck on stupid.

Ok, it works but lights shapes are a little weird, my item came bent on one corner,doesn't seem to affect functionality ,otherwise it does work ok , good for house parties, woundnt buy an extra one, it's bigger than I excepted, control was there but bracket was missing, so I couldn't hang it where I wanted, it is a little noisy. Not bad but wouldn't pay more than 30 for it and this one was about 60.00

I plugged it in in the space I will be using to try it out. This is what I found out.The remote did not work with the unit at all, making that useless.The lights that are emitted are bright... super bright... so bright that it hurts my eyes and everyone else who tried it with me, when it would flash in ones eyes.The patterns that it does get super repetitive and boring very fast.The microphone mode doesn't work well enough even with loud music to make it work well.Overall I was not impressed. It was not worth the cost. Maybe if it was more like $25 it would be worthwhile, but I am planning on taking my money elsewhere for something of greater quality.

Purchased this item and stashed away was an Easter basket gift. When we opened it and went to try it, it does not work at all. Tried screwing it into numerous standard switches (which it fits into fine), but it does nothing. Does not light up, nor turn. I can manually "force" it to light and turn by rotating the top plastic piece with my fingers, but otherwise it's useless. Went to return it to Amazon, and it was over the "30 day return period". Can't find any way to contact the company for support. Seems it is money wasted.

falls apart with one use

With so many 5 star reviews, I was expecting more. These are very poor quality!They aren't very bright, and the motor didn't even last a month...

This worked great last year, but this year not at all. I stored it in the house after the holidays and still it doesn't work. Very disappointing!

Nice idea, but very low-powered, certainly not enough to deliver a "party atmosphere." Does not light up an entire room, as other reviews state. Maybe there's more than one model out there - don't know how else to explain the positive reviews.

A fun light that really adds a festive disco feel to any room. It's great that it fits into any normal socket and provides plenty of party lighting. Unfortunately the motor that controls the spinning stopped working after only 2 months. Bear in mind this bulb itself was only used a handful of times for parties, so probably a total of 4-6 uses. My experience might be atypical, but I'm quite disappointed in the product nonetheless.

Light functions ok. Build quality is decent Although I can change anything without the non existent remote.The fan stopped working after 2 hour's and It didn't come with the remote that the add showed. Now doesn't work at all. Stay away from this light.

Microphone will not pick up music when on music. Effects are cool but microphone sucks.

Worked for 2 gigs and led burnt out

Was looking for something to replace a recently-broken ADJ MicroBurst. While the MicroBurst did a decent job emulating a disco ball, its speed control is on the unit itself. I was glad to have a chance to find a replacement with DMX-controlled speed, and if I could also control color (for example, to have white lights only), that would be a plus.Never heard of LaluceNatz before, but the other reviews who were also skeptical of this unknown brand seemed satisfied, so I figured I would give it a shot. Very unhappy from the moment I turned it on. The "glass" is actually plastic and there were fingerprints on BOTH sides. I shouldn't have to partially disassemble a BRAND NEW lighting unit to clean it. Second, the LEDs are mounted on a mirror which just goes back and forth in a partially-circular pattern. So rather than lights going round and round, they just go back and forth. But what takes the cake is that you must ALWAYS have at least TWO colors showing at any given time. There's no way to get "only red" or "only blue." Even if you try to use the buttons to set individual numbers for R, G and B, the lowest possible number is 10, not zero. This is NOT mentioned at all in the product description, and since there is no manual or video available, you have no way of knowing this until you try it for yourself. I was also disappointed that the spots created by this light are huge in comparison to the smaller "dots" created by the ADJ MicroBurst... I thought it looked very gawdy / tacky, especially since you always have to have at least 2 colors showing at any given time. Last but not least, I found the remote control difficult to use because the buttons are not that descriptive AND you have to be facing the front of the unit because the IR receiver is mounted inside the front center piece of plastic (emphasis: not glass, it's plastic). When I am DJ'ing, I'm behind and underneath my lights, not facing them head-on. Granted, I'd ultimately be looking to control this via DMX, but the remote could have been a handy alternative. This light looks good on paper, but in reality, it really disappointed me. Tested it out for less than 20 minutes before it was back in the box. Dropped it off at UPS for a return shipment as soon as I had the chance. Now I know never to buy a light if there's no video of the light in action, or any user manuals available to review online first.

I'm tired of ordering this product as I've received three defective items of the same model!The first one didn't turn on, the second had a loose screw that won't hold in place, and the third wouldn't turn on again!

The microphone did not work so I returned it. The process was fairly easy (to return).

P.O.S.GARBAGE!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!OLD: "these bulbs are extremely cool, but extremely cheap. i ordered 6 and 2 never even worked and a 3rd stopped spinning and makes a horrible noise just after 2 weeks. also, bulb is larger than a standard sized lightbulb so they don't fit in every socket. on the plus side, they are much quieter than more extensive, smaller bulbs but only when they actually work. smaller bulb is noticeably brighter, spins faster, yet is louder than these larger, duller, slower, cheaper bulbs."amended August 4, 2017last night the FOURTH bulb completely died.bringing the total number down to 2 of 6 still working; 33.3%. which means 66.6% are garbage. as soon as the last 2 die, ill upgrade.sometimes quality outweighs quantity.

Can't give many stars when the product doesn't work right out of the box. Looked intact, but nothing happened. Must have gotten a dud.

So bummed, this fell apart after one use, box was all messed up upon arrival, then clear plastic piece fell off after not really rotating great. I have another one of these, from a different manufacturer and I love it, this one was poorly made.

Complete junk do not waste your money nor your time as soon as I screwed it in to the socket it broke at the base and that's applying hardly any twisting pressure into the socket complete junk don't waste your time warning

Broken upon arrival. Did not spin or work, was fritzy right away when I screwed it in. Would not recommend- not even worth returning with the price.

Didn't work! Straight outta the box & it didn't work at all. Did not appear to be damaged to the naked eye but it didn't work. Will be returning this one.We also ordered the lotus flower shaped one & it worked fine.
