Five Star Reviews: | 65% As described; arrived on time. Just the right ... August 5, 2017 As described; arrived on time. Just the right amount of elastic for wrapping. Wash and wear. Suggest using a laundry bag to keep Velcro from catching on your clothes. I would also suggest handing washing separately the first couple of times as the color will bleed. Great handwraps! May 9, 2017 I like these more than the other wraps i have bought in the past. These are soft and stretch allowing you to control tightness. I use them for a 100lb canvas bag with no gloves. They protect my hands very well. And they come with 3 pairs so that a plus! The thumb loop is the same size for all three sets on mine. I washed them (cold water) by themselves and I did not have any bleeding problems with the colors. Best Wraps - Good Elasticity - Washer-Friendly September 6, 2016 After having these hand wraps, I'm not sure I could go back. My boxing instructor recommended them, and they're great. The best aspect is they have a lot of stretch to them, so you can snugly wrap your hands without losing any blood flow. You can't beat the price for getting three different sets, which is perfect if you regularly wash your wraps since you'll always need a backup set. I even gave away my red ones to a fellow boxing classmate, and he's completely sold too.Other wraps I've purchased have had no elasticity, which makes it difficult to workout because they always feel too tight (due to loss of blood flow) or they fall off/unwrap because they were too lose. Others also fall apart in the wash or seemingly shrink (I don't use the drier, only air-dry). These don't share any of those issues.I've washed these several times now and have lost little, if any, elasticity in the wraps themselves. I don't foresee needing a new set for some time, but if I do, I'll certainly repurchase these without hesitation. Have used these 12+ times now and they are great. I unfortunately did not listen to the instructions ... April 1, 2015 Have used these 12+ times now and they are great. I unfortunately did not listen to the instructions and just threw them in the wash on the first washing (the instructions say you should hand wash them) so the white ones are now pink. This was my own fault though, it specifically says to hand wash and hang dry them on the first washing. Great deal March 9, 2015 This was a great deal for those who are beginners (myself included) and are not ready to invest in the more expensive handwraps. The products come as described: they are durable, a great length, and the velcro straps are reliable. I've bought 2 of these 3x Pairs sets already as I really prefer to do laundry as little as possible, hahaha. Even with only the 3 pairs that come in this deal, you can alternate enough to last a week or two at a time (unless you are very concerned with germs). They do well in the washer when coupled with a mesh bag (also sold by the same company). If you don't have a mesh bag, I've read other tips where you can use a pillow case and tie it up, to keep it from tearing or getting too tangled with your clothes. The short version: Great deal for the price, don't hesitate. As someone who spent a lot of time looking around for price comparisons, I'll help you out-- don't look further, buy this one. Better than Everlast. July 24, 2014 I previously had Everlast hand wraps and these are by far more superior. I really didn't think there was much of a difference, but I certainly was wrong. I had been using the Everlast hand wraps I would get at a Sports Authority for a few years now. But by chance, I ended up just getting these because I felt it was a good deal. Firstly, I should mention that I wrap for Muay Thai training. The softness in the material is like night and day. And the elasticity of these are much better as well. Comparing them, the Everlast wraps are more like canvas than cotton, while these maintain their softness and elasticity through washes as well. They are far more comfortable and because of the better elasticity, wrapping is easier and much faster now. I like the "thinness" of the material as well since it keeps them lightweight and breathable. The velcro seems to be pretty solid and the stitching on them too which is a nice plus since mine had tendencies of breaking down after a few uses. Nothing to have to throw them away, but enough to show the wear and tear on them. | 62% Great wraps September 5, 2017 One of my favorite pairs of wraps to use for day to day boxing training! Great material and they hold onto your hand really well. Doesn't get better June 10, 2016 Extremely durable and comfortable. I use them several times a week (about 3 pairs in rotation), for well over two years and they're still going strong. I prefer the Mexican style/elastic wraps rather than the traditional cloth variety, as they seem less bulky when inside the gloves. last a long time and i can was them numerous times without them going bad. they also dont have any weird smells August 17, 2015 these are my go to wraps. they dont tear, last a long time and i can was them numerous times without them going bad.they also dont have any weird smells.Pros:*durable*long lasting*no smellsCons: none |
Four Star Reviews: | 19% Good for the price May 29, 2017 Good wraps for the price. You probably are buying these because they're the cheapest. They stretch considerably after use to the point that one will likely be nearly a meter longer than the other. They also bleed in the wash. This has led to a number of my socks and towels now being permanently pink. The plight of men doing their own laundry...That said, they do what they're supposed to. A bit thinner as other people have described on here ... May 23, 2017 A bit thinner as other people have described on here, but seem to be up to the challenge and work great Very Happy April 16, 2017 The material is thin like others have said so I was expecting it when I bought them. They are all very nice. I've had zero problems w/any fraying and the product seems well made. I'm very happy with my purchase. Decent quality, good price January 18, 2017 The quality seems pretty solid. My coach said that I got a pretty good deal on these (he's been boxing for over a decade, and is semi-pro.) As these are quite long, I get a lot of wraps, which feels quite secure. There's just enough elasticity to not cut off circulation when wrapping relatively tight. As advised by some, I soaked the black and red wraps in a cold water/vinegar solution for about 30 minutes, then washed them on cold to minimize color transfer in future washes. These are my first wraps I've ever used so I ... January 8, 2017 These are my first wraps I've ever used so I don't have anything to compare them to, but I feel they work very well so far. I can hit my 80pd bag as hard as I can and I feel confident I wont hurt my hands using these and the proper gloves, of course. It would have been convenient if they were rolled up and ready to be wrapped out of the box. Instead they need to be unrolled and re rolled because the factory rolled them inside out with the thumb loop in the middle of the roll. I haven't washed them yet so I hope they dry ok and don't loose their shape. Not a bad deal. I tried a few other brands of ... November 10, 2014 Not a bad deal. I tried a few other brands of wraps (like Everlast, which was surprisingly terrible) and they just weren't as comfortable or durable. These and Title are the best I've used so far. They aren't perfect, but I haven't found a perfect hand wrap yet. I use these for Muay Thai at least 3 times a week for about an hour, and they serve their purpose well enough. If you want to wash these (or any hand wraps), I'd recommend putting them in a mesh bag. By if, I mean when. Seriously, do your sparring partner a favor and wash your hand wraps because they can acquire a brutal stank. Also, the velcro tends to stick to (and damage) the fabric, but this has been the case with every hand wrap I've tried. | 13% These I feel are the best I have tried so far March 15, 2017 New to the hand wraps. These I feel are the best I have tried so far. Just the right amount of stretch and thickness. Being new to this the wraps showing what side down when you start the wrap, a big plus. Long lasting September 3, 2016 This is for one set of wraps. They are really good quality, but I don't like how they get stretched out around the sides after the first use (like think of how an ace bandage gets stretched out). But it didn't get worse after first use.The thumb loop and the indicator on which side should go down (against your skin) is really helpful. And the velcro at the end doesn't stop working. Gets the job done July 17, 2016 The products are good in that they get the job done. Theyre a good length and provide a decent cusion. (I use thesw for kickboxing under gloves). However, my wraps were two different shades of pink and the "this side down" label is incorrect on one glove. Good boxing wraps, awesome color. July 1, 2016 These wraps come in a great pink color, although they slightly differed in color from each other. The wraps go on securely and function well in protecting your hands. Additionally, a "this side up" print helps you to wrap your hands with the correct side of the tape facing up to close the velcro in the end. I'm very pleased with my purchase. It's definitely a statement piece! Solid Hand Wraps June 14, 2016 I bought the black wraps and they are my second favorite pair of hand wraps I have ever used. first off, they are thicker than some of the other ones I have encountered over my time boxing. I personally like them thicker because it offers some more support and protection of the knuckles. The thumb loop on this is great too, I haven't seen any fraying or weakening of the seems around it. I have been using these for around three months and there hasn't been a single issue with them. I have recommended them to friends and they all like them as well. They are easy to clean and easy to dry as well. Great design but average finishing. January 22, 2014 These hand wraps are well designed. They have the proper length to cover most of your hands and offer proper protection. Also, it is quite comfortable, in contrast to other cheaper hand wraps that leave bruising and "strangling" marks. However, the main issue with these is the finishing, as the sealing straps are about to come off after using them for few times; they simply require better stitching and finishing.Overall, they are well made and good for average/regular boxers. I would recommend this to everyone, even beginners, since these offer better protection compared to cheap ones, and they are more more comfortable than the latter. |
Three Star Reviews: | 9% Good, but not great August 26, 2017 For the price, the wraps are ok, but they are definitely a cheaper quality of material. I use them for bag work at home and muay thai class. They have a decent elasticity, but are very thin. The length is appropriate, but the velcro straps are a little weak/cheap. Overall, they are great for light work in the gym, but I would not recommend them for people who are serious about combat sports. I'd spend the money on a thicker, more durable set of wraps. Other than that they do the job - yes probably better off washing them in a stocking bag or something April 13, 2017 Wash it once, they turn into shoe strings. Other than that they do the job - yes probably better off washing them in a stocking bag or something, but with my Everlast ones, no need. Great for back ups March 20, 2017 These hand wraps are great for back ups, but do not provide the same level of padding that other brands do. They seem to be well made, the only disappointment was the level of protection. Good once on, but production quality lacking in my wrap bundle. March 19, 2017 I actually do like these wraps. The 3 pack bundle seems to be pretty good value for money, and one on, they work very well and are able to provide a lot of wrist support because of their 180" length. However, I subtracted one star because the second time I used the red wrap, one end of the thumb loop pulled out. I just grabbed the next one in the pack, but still, this does not sing high quality. Would work great for occasional use, but not the most durable. June 11, 2015 I bought several pairs of these for daily use in MMA training and they worked great for several months, but the velcro has started to peel off of a couple pairs now and they are getting a bit ratty looking. Perhaps this is the fate of all hand wraps eventually, but I have found the Title Boxing brand to be a bit more durable, though not quite as elastic as these. They also wrinkle a lot more than the Title wraps after washing. If you only need them for once a week use or less, I think they would do you just fine. However, if you are actively training in MMA, you may be a bit disappointed. As a fair warning...DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER! I took one for the team and experimented on a pair even though I knew better. They will shrink like crazy, of course. | 10% Good wrap, a few concerns... August 12, 2016 These wraps were exactly what I was looking for; I liked the color, they're soft, and the length I wanted. However, the first time I unrolled one of the wraps, I noticed that it didn't have the "this side down" print that the other roll had. That wasn't a big deal, but as I was wrapping my hands, I found 2-3 thin spots that looked like a thread had been pulled out. I'm concerned that it might grow into a hole when it's washed. Hopefully they will hold up as the other reviews seem to suggest because otherwise, I really like these! minor inconvenience August 4, 2014 Wraps are stamped "THIS SIDE DOWN" near thumb loop so you end up with the velcro in the correct position to secure. However one of my wraps had the stamp on the wrong side...finally figured out what was wrong after a frustrating few minutes of wrapping and re-wrapping. Aside from that, no issues. great feel but not very good quality December 28, 2013 I expected these wraps to be made a little better than the ones i received. After about a week of wrapping my hands they look like there about to rip in some areas like around the velcro. Some parts along the edge don't match the rest like it wast cut or stitched with complete quality in mind. I dont know if i just got a less then ok pair but i was a little disappointed. Fabric Gets Twisted Easily October 14, 2013 The ones I bought directly from Title Boxing Club (at their facilities) were great. I've washed those several times and they are still really good - they've keep their shape well, haven't gotten too stretched out, the velcro still sticks really well and stays shut, and the colors are still vibrant. I bought these thinking they would be the same, but they aren't. The color is still good (but it's black, so not sure it'll fade much anyway), but the fabric is stretched already and gets really, really twisted up, unlike the ones I bought directly from Title Boxing Club. I wouldn't buy these again. Decent, not amazing November 20, 2012 Before I go any further let me point out that these wraps are half the price of our other wraps. The title wraps arrived and right away we could tell a difference in material from our other wraps. It was a rougher material, it was a thinner material, and the slight elasticity wasn't there. After about 5 uses I could see that the fabric right before the Velcro was running thin. Because the fabric was thinner I wasn't getting as much padding around my knuckles that my other wraps provide.Do these wraps provide enough protection for you knuckles and wrists: Sort of...Will these wraps last for a good amount of uses: Sort of...Are these wraps worth the price: Sort of...Would I buy another set of Title Wraps: Probably notThe reason I am giving them 3 stars is because you get what you pay for with the price. |
Two Star Reviews: | 4% Very bad. Not worth it. September 22, 2017 This is just normal cloth that shrinks after the wash. Very bad.Not worth it. Waste of money unfortunately August 3, 2017 Waste of money unfortunately. The wraps I got from my kickboxing gym are 10x better. These are thin and flimsy and the process of wrapping takes twice as long. I used them a couple times because I hated that I couldn't send them back, but now they're just sitting in my garage waiting for a yard sale. What happened to the quality? June 17, 2017 Bought these for my boyfriend, and out of the 6 wraps, the stitching on 2 of the pairs were so bad on the velcro areas that I had to repair them myself in order for him to use them. He also complained that the white pairs were shorter than the black and red pairs. Long and stretchy, but not very supportive. The ... June 16, 2017 Long and stretchy, but not very supportive. The red bleeds onto my hands even after several washes and the wraps lost their structure quickly so re-rolling them is a pain. I'll keep using them, but they aren't my go-to wraps. Smell bad?? March 24, 2016 Smells bad after each use. Its weird my other hand wraps will go 2-4 uses before needing a wash but these immediately reek as soon as you start sweating. Even after first time use. I washed a few times thinking some chemical in them is activated with sweat and they would improve but they did not. Its so bad its embarrassing I ended up throwing them out. | 7% but disappointed. Buyer beware June 16, 2016 2 different shades of pink....seriously where is the quality check before an item gets sent. Keeping since they were so cheap not worth the hassle of sending back, but disappointed. Buyer beware. While I like the material April 27, 2016 While I like the material, the first one I received came with a snag/rip in it so I exchanged for the another pair, and I can tell it won't take too long for the same to happen to the new pair. Also, one of the wraps is about 24" longer than the other which is pretty ridiculous. Then to top it all off, the first time I used them the dye used on the loop turned the area around my thumb all black which was a total pain to get off. Definitely not my favorite wraps. Poor quality - you get what you pay for August 20, 2013 Bought for Muay Thai.Wraps are very thin, which surprised me given that Title is a prominent brand. Near the velcro closure, the material was so thin and loose that I could see right through it and almost put my little finger through it. Very disappointed. First time I unrolled them, I noticed they were DIRTY already. Looked like blood or something halfway through the wrap - gross. The print "this side down" was a mess, which isn't a big deal, but just showed the poor quality. These would be ok for someone who is not serious and doesn't use them heavily. Spend more money on a different brand (fairtex, boon) if you want good wraps. |
One Star Reviews: | 3% bad quality March 11, 2017 Bad quality- some came ripped but my daughter was able to used them. I will find a better quality wrap on my next purchase. Too Thin January 20, 2017 These wraps are too thin and elastic. I tried using all 3 pairs hoping at least one was thicker and they are all too thin and don't provide enought protection. Wrapping your hands is much more of a chore since they want to fold the whole time. If you plan on hitting a heavy bag you do not want to use these. Wimpy wimpy wimpy! January 18, 2017 These wraps are garbage. So thin and flimsy, you might as well wrap your hands with gauze. And after use they're so wrinkled up you can't possible use them again without washing. I have some Ringside and Contender wraps that are both much superior (and more expensive) than these wraps. Don't waste your time/money unless you just want something disposable for one-time use. horrible!! December 11, 2016 Stains all your clothes when you wash them.. horrible!!! The cost of the losing my stained clothes far exceed the price for these low quality wraps.. there should be some disclaimer on this, completely unfair! One Star January 29, 2015 Seller is good but the wraps are low quality. Should be better for this price. | 8% DONT BUY September 16, 2017 Horrible quality. Stitching was bad, came with little holes and it came dirty!!! First time I get disappointed from a product on amazon. This looks like a ripoff or it's been used. Or the quality is just as bad as it looks. The wrap came to me with rips beginning to show ... February 18, 2017 The wrap came to me with rips beginning to show. I used it once and it ripped. Do not order those. Not equal length August 17, 2015 Ordered and replaced 3 times, the hand wraps are different lengths, off by more than 12 inches. Substandard product.Amazon was great to replace, but third time was it for me. Never buying again. Pink wraps came with a hole in the wrap. ... August 17, 2015 Pink wraps came with a hole in the wrap. Also one was faded as if sat in the sun for a period of time. Not impressed with my purchase. Torn Thumb Loop On One Of The Wraps January 21, 2015 Unfortunately I wasn't that lucky with my pair. Loved the color and tried the first one on. Good length. Then I unraveled the second wrap and noticed that there was a discoloration on the thumb loop. I looked at it closer and found that area had transparent tape wrapped around. The discoloration underneath it was not dyed pink, but an off-white color (original un-dyed color). I peeled the tape off the thumb loop only to find out that it was already torn. Really disappointed. The other pair I bought (different brand) was in good shape. |
