I tried a different protein recently and switched back to Syntha-6. But I did stay on Livigra by Biotek Nutrition – Male Enhancement Pills Testosterone Booster – Increases Size, Libido, Energy, Mood, Performance Stamina after I tried it. The extra sex-drive has helped my confidence.

On the basis of its taste and consistency when mixed with almond milk, I would award six stars! This is the best tasting protein powder I've ever had. Formally, I was adding a banana to my protein shakes, but after reading about how bananas can contribute to belly fat, I substituted one half of an avocado instead. However, I really miss the flavor of the banana.Usually, products that are banana flavored taste nothing like bananas. I can assure you that this tastes like fresh bananas were added to your protein shake. In addition to its wonderful flavor, it's consistency when mixed is better than anything I've tried before. It's silky smooth without the foam or frothiness of most protein powders. It tasted so good the first time I tried it after my morning workout, I had another one for dinner!I also do not feel weighted down or sluggish in some of the other protein powders and made me feel. It is filling without making you feel like you've had too much. When this container runs out, I will buy another one (and probably continue to buy it from now on).

I order some of the Chocolate-Peanut butter and it tastes great! What I also love about this is that it's only 200 calories per serving so for someone like me who works out at night, it's nice that I don't have to worry about packing on the pounds if I want to drink my shake at 10 PM. This also tastes much better than some of the other protein shakes I've had. It's not grainy and is really smooth with a blender bottle.Only this I will say is, make sure you wash your bottle/cup immediately after. Next day protein smells like death.

Since I was fascinated with AMINOx from BSN, it led me to buy their whey protein. I must say this has been the best whey protein powder i've tried overall. The taste in great, having tried strawberry milkshake only. It does not affect my body negatively as in being bloated like other protein powders. My next refill will be from BSN! Next on my list, are their creatine.

My favorite protein to date. Easily mixes in water or milk. I like preparing my protein shake with frozen strawberries, a couple ice cubes, 5g of creatine, and some low fat milk. I've been taking some form of protein powder for over a 20 year period. Recently, I've looked for an all in one powder that I can readily make and shake after workouts as well as before bed or during the day if I need a quick meal replacement. This would replace whey after a workout, and casein before bed I am just tired of buying multiple bottles of protein powder. Especially when I just started using a pre-workout for the first time in about a year. In that department I've tried almost everything out there prior to this year. Which doesn’t help my cabinet space. I look for 4 things when picking out a protein powder (not in any particular order) :1) Nutrient profile: This has 22 grams of protein, and includes a mix of whey and casein, which is what I was taking before in two separate products. It also has 15 grams of carbs, which is pretty low (I'll buy anything below 20g of carbs, but the lower the better).2) Flavor: Taste is pretty good. I usually get protein in either chocolate or vanilla, and I got the Vanilla Syntha-6. It doesn't have any sweetener aftertaste or gritty flavor, which is a problem. I usually mix it with water, it tastes as good in water as it can taste. I'll occasionally mix it with milk, which makes it almost creamy tasting but beware Dairy can make you hold water so I only do that when I am bulking or not worried about overall calorie intake.3) Mixability: Syntha-6 mixes extremely well in water or milk in my shaker bottle, with no clumps. A little bit sticks to the side, which I will chalk up to normal it’s sort of unavoidable.4) Price: Price was descent and better than I can find in a GNC or similar store. I like the flavor and it mixes well. I usually ad a single scoop to my morning smoothie just to add some protein to a fruit shake, it seems to give me more energy and stick with me longer so I don't get hungry again until lunch time. The vanilla flavor goes really well with my banana and blueberry smoothies.

I have tried several different protein powders and drinks. Chocolate EAS 100% Whey is my absolute favorite. I love it plain in a shaker with just cold water added. I love it blended in my NutriBullet with frozen blueberries, strawberries, bananas, or peaches. I love it with added cinnamon for a "Mexican chocolate" flavor. I love it thick like a milkshake or thin like chocolate milk. I even love a scoop of it mixed into a bowl with nonfat cottage cheese (this may be an acquired taste!) It blends completely in a shaker, which is nice. Not chalky, not gummy. Great stuff.

Just buy the EAS Chocolate Protein. It's the best. Ok....I'm 59 and lifted weights big time back in the 80's. You know..Steroids and all the other crap I could get. The protein powder back then didn't mix well and was kind of grainy. Fast forward 40 years and I got back into lifting and bought this powder. Tastes like a silky smooth shake from Dairy Queen! It mixes so easy and well with no gritty texture. This stuff is really good. I mix 2 scoops in a glass of milk, put in the freezer for a bit, then sit down and watch some TV. Talk about good stuff.....I sometimes make another. Can't go wrong here guys...

Look at the label for this protein, a lot of protein with little calories makes it easy to keep you macros in check. I take three servings a day with skim milk and it tastes and mixes well. I have not tried this with just water yet. Will continue to have this on my subscribe and save.

Taste great and works. We have tried dozens of protein powders and most either taste like dog....food or clump up and won't dissolve. This EAS dissolves easily in a shaker or a blender and taste great.
Tip- I make a morning coffee protein shake: scoop of Van EAS protein powder, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup almond milk and fill with coffee. I then blend it with a magic bullet and it makes an amazing morning coffee smoothie/shake.

I saw some reviews saying this had a funky aftertaste, but I've never experienced that. I think it tastes great! I mix it with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and frozen fruit and it's delicious. Even my son loves it. I also appreciate that unlike most other protein powders it does not come in a HUGE tub that's only halfway or 3/4 of the way full.

I have tried numerous protein powders on the market and I think the chocolate cake batter flavor on this product is one of my favorites. I appreciate that the calories are only 200 per serving while still providing a lot of protein. I mix one scoop of the chocolate cake batter protein powder, a frozen banana, and a cup and a half of unsweetened almond milk. It really keeps me full for a few hours which is good because I am trying to eat it for lunch. My only complaint is that this powder, like many others, causes some issues gas. Overall, though, I am happy.

I've been looking for a new protein powder now that things are getting more and more expensive. After reading reviews on BSN, it seemed like this would be the new powder for me but I'm just not completely sold on it. The taste isn't bad but it just doesn't mix well unless you are using a blender. Sometimes i just need to toss my powder in a glass to mix and go and I feel like I couldn't do that with this powder. Otherwise, it has been a good product but I'll keep looking for something that suits me better.

It was recommended that I try the Chocolate Peanut butter flavor from a friend. Initially I purchased the smaller container, not expecting to actually enjoy this protein as much as I did. The taste is great and it is very similar to Reeses, although not quite there yet. Just use cold water, however, room temp water is fine too. Only negative for me is the nutrition content as compared to other competitors. The fat content is relatively high at 6g compared to ON with a measely 1.5g. I advise that if you are looking for a Macro friendly protein, take that in to consideration.

This is good stuff. It has a bit of sugar in it, but I can live with that for such a great taste. It works great on its own or mixed into a smoothie with other ingredients. It's delicious to drink, so there's no forcing it down. Great price also.

I'm overall happy with the product. I've been using BSN Syntha6 and TrueMass for a few years now and have never reviewed it. The protein tastes very good! A little bit sweet. It mixes great in both water and milk with no clumps. This was the first time I ordered the large bag option and I have to warn others of the seal. The plastic zipper isn't very trustworthy... the black slider falls off ALL the time. I haven't figured out how to keep it on. So this makes it difficult to seal the bag. And by "difficult" I mean that it's a real pain in the ass. I have almost spilled it a few times already. So just keep that in mind!

For the money, this product does a great job. There are tons of alternatives, however the flavor, dilution, absorption and overall effectiveness are great. There are quite a few products I've had over the years and some taste bad, don't offer the muscle absorption, make you bloated/gassy or just flat don't work. I use this most every morning after my workouts. I miss it with fruit in a blender and almond milk some days and just us e a shaker cup and water if I'm traveling for work. Either way, great results and consistent taste and flavor. The chocolate milkshake is pretty damn tasty!

not as chocolate-y as I would like but it's got high ratio of protein+fat grams to carb grams, good for a low-carb snack mixed with water. Taste is very good and rich with 2% milk. Not too sweet for me, but definitely too sweet for some people.

Sometimes makes my stomach gurgle if it's alone in there. But no cramping.

great Value. taste better then expected. I mixed a glass of this protein powder with 2 scoops of powder and about 8oz. of whole milk.
it's a little on the sweet tasting side and some of the powder didn't mix all the way( i think that was because i don't have a shaker cup).
i will probably buy this again from the same store.

The reviews were mixed on this but I found it had a good flavor, mixed well and I will definitely be buying it again. People had talked about a square container not being as good, mine came in a round container, maybe a new formula at some point. I did give it only 4 stars though because it's a lot of powder needed per serving and it's 30 more calories than the Optimum Nutrition gold standard brand I was buying. So I might switch between the two as this also has a few more carbs per serving than my other brand.

Great price, good taste. According to the more hardcore bodybuilders out there, the protein-per-scoop is a little low (I'm not training for the Arnold Classic and would rather have taste and cost effectiveness), and mixing it (I have a BlenderBottle) takes a lot longer than the other, much more expensive Iso-Whey I've had in the past, but I'll definitely order again. Good protein, tasty, a great after workout drink.

I'm not going to say this is the best tasting whey protein powder I've ever had (BSN Syntha-6 is), but I like it for a few other reasons. The calories are much lower per serving vs. Syntha-6, and the protein is higher. Since the calories are lower, I can do more to increase the nutrition and still end up with a shake that is comparable in calories than a plain Syntha-6 shake with water. For example, my normal Syntha-6 shake has 200 calories with just water. Today, I had EAS with 1 tsp flax, 2 tsp cocoa powder (since it's not quite as chocolate-y as Syntha-6), and 1/2 cup of almond milk for 196 calories. Also, it's quite a bit cheaper, which always helps.

The taste is ok but I mix it in with water and it is still really thick. It would be much easier to drink if it wasn't thicker than a milkshake.It is cheap however for the same amount of protein, other products charge far more.

A lot of fillers for the protein source (22 grams of protein/ 47.2 grams per serving) Taste great with water and almond milk. Other better proteins out there but this works so far

I'd like to start by saying Syntha-6 is a great brand of protein. I've made the most gains with this brand specifically than other brands so this is the protein that works for me. However, strawberry is not the best Syntha-6 flavor. I have been a long time user of the Syntha-6 Cookies and Cream flavor and decided to change it up for once. I'd describe this flavor as an artificial strawberry a little like Nesquick but less tasty. However, when you mix it with water it is fairly light and goes down smooth. I will go back to Cookies and Cream though because of the taste.

I have been using bsn syntha 6 for 4 years now. The taste is the best, any flavor you pick wont go wrong. However, this was my first time purchasing the 10 lbs bag and i am disappointed due to difficulty of zipping it up. It doesnt zip well and this causes protein to be exposed with air, which I dont want it. I think bsn could have done a better job with this issue. I dont know if my product is defected or not but i am not satisfied wit this 10 lbs bag.

I love the ingredients that are in BSN's Syntha-6 protein, however this flavor doesn't really do it for me. I have had the vanilla ice cream flavor in the past and there is no comparison to me. This is such high quality protein that I would still recommend any of the flavors, but the vanilla ice cream just tastes better and goes down easier. If you're debating which type of protein you want, you definitely can't go wrong with Syntha-6.

I ordered the chocolate flavor, with the expectation that it would taste similar if not identical to BSN's "Chocolate Milkshake" flavor of Syntha-6 in a tub. Unfortunately, the taste isn't close. I would say it has a peppermint flavor to it, which after a hard workout is not what I want to be guzzling down. The protein is there, the blend of BCAA's is there, but the flavor is a huge miss. This RTD protein product is tolerable, but it's cheaper and tastes better to have a shaker cup and some normal Syntha-6 on hand. If you want to give this product a try, I would recommend going to a nutrition store and trying one first before committing to buy a 12 pack.

So I bought this hoping it would taste like the brand you get from Wal-Mart for the same price just not the same amount. Sadly to say, it does not taste like that. It's not a bad taste but for me I preferred the one from Wal-Mart but since I don't think they are selling it anymore I got this. Again, it is drinkable but I have definitely told my roommates I'm sharing it. Don't think I could finish it by myself with the taste. I add cinnamon to help, but it doesn't do much.

its ok. i normally buy optimum nutrition. wanted to try this so i bought a smaller one. the ON extreme chocolate tastes better than EAS. EAS mixes a little better. i went back to ON

This stuff is decent tasting and OK for the price range. Mixes well and does supply protein just seems like a lot of filler to me. I still have some and will use on off days. Better quality protein can be had for about the same price.

I had purchased a smaller size whey previously and it cam with a scoop for measuring out the product. Unfortunately this purchase contained no scoop so I have to approximate the amount of whey I use. I also did not like the fact that in order to open the container it was necessary to rip the plastic wrapper containing all the information.

Just be aware that this is not the most concentrated protein supplement out there. It is relatively high in sugar and fat which may not be helping you meet your goals. Though initially more expensive, whey isolate can be found with close to zero fat and sugar, and when compared by pennies per gram of protein, costs about the same. This product can still be useful when additional carbs and fat are okay like in a morning shake or a pre-workout shake.

The protein I got was already close to the expiration date. Great taste though and really like the brand.

There are hundreds of protein powers on the market and its really hard for an average person to compare the benefits. I have used three 5 pound containers of BSN Syntha-6. I have been using different brands of protein for over 15 years. I am a very healthy middle aged male and work out moderately 6 days a week. I am not trying to bulk up, I only want to stay lean and healthy. I have a physical every year and confirm my blood pressure and other reading are where they should be. I started using BSN Syntha-6 shortly after my last physical. A couple of weeks later I had a dental cleaning and check up. My dental office for what ever reason checks blood pressure at the beginning of the appointment. The nurse informed me that my blood pressure was high and even took a second reading to confirm. I told her that I started a new protein supplement recently and felt this could be the reason. She confirmed my concern was legit and went into the reasons why. I continued to use BSN Syntha-6 and confirmed with my physician that my blood pressure is on the higher end of average. As I started out saying at the beginning of this review, its hard to really compare the benefits or disadvantages of the different products but I believe BSN Syntha-6 is the cause of my increase in blood pressure. One thing I know for sure, I didn't have high blood pressure two weeks before using this product and I've been using other brands of protein for 15 years prior to using this product. I also haven't seen any benefits from this product that I haven't seen from the others I've used. In conclusion, I love the taste and feel its a good value but It's not worth the risk to my health to continue using. BSN Syntha-6 may be a great product but its just not the right product for me.

Great protein but avoid banana flavor like the plague! The first impression was that it tasted just like banana laffy taffy but the after taste is so artificial and bitter.

Previously I was using "IsoBurn" with no problems at all, but just recently switched to this stuff. I thought that these symptoms might be associated with something else, so I actually tried it 3 times with a few days in between, I had the same problems each time. Possibly my own physiology or a bad batch, but I tossed this stuff in the trash, I wont be trying it a fourth time.

Arrived quickly, but the product wasn't nearly as full once I finally opened it. Compared to other Syntha 6 containers, it was missing a quite a bit.Flavor is good.

It will definitely work as a whey protein and give you the benefits of making you feel full to avoid over-eating or snacking. However, I noticed no substantial muscle growth. I've taken other powders and seen immediate results, and this was just lack-luster. Again, if you need a meal replacement powder it will work...but don't expect much else.

I have bought this product many times and was always very happy with it in the past. This order has been the opposite. The product doesn't taste the same (much worse than usual) and doesn't dissolve nearly as well. It's like it's old, or has been exposed to heat or something. Those are just guesses of course, but it's just bad not matter how you slice it. Very disappointed.

Was a 4.5/5 until they changed the formula AND INCREASED THE PRICE. Now this puppy packs a WHOPPING 100g of cholesterol.. Take about overkill. Sorry EAS you've lost a customer even if it was the same price as before the new formula SUCKS. their trying to make more money percontainer hence the no reason to change except to feed the CEOs of the company bigger pay cuts

It was good until chemical aftertaste. It may be artificial sweeteners. Helps keep my protein intake high without eating lots of meat. I find it best to consume one serving at a time one at the beginning of the day and one at the end.

This is a good product. I originally bought it when it was out of stock at my regular retailer. When I went to order more... it was priced almost 10 dollars higher!!

I purchased this powder after reading its nutritional breakdown. It has the most protein per 8oz and the fewest carbs compared to its competitors which was the initial draw. However, it is not a smooth drink. Even using the blender ball bottle, the powder will clump and you'll find yourself chewing little nuggets of powder alongside what should be a smooth, blended drink. This did not occur when drinking one of its competitors - MuscleMilk. I don't think I will be purchasing this powder again after these experiences.

If you are new to this brand, consider buying a small bottle prior to committing to a 5lb container like I did.

Vanilla flavored in strawberry packaging - disappointing

I have ordered this product before and absolutely loved it. With the one I just ordered, I kept getting a strange taste and it seemed like there were little clusters at the bottom that were really sweet. I wondered if I had gotten a counterfeit product, and checked the label against the online pictures. I discovered I had been sent chocolate peanut butter rather than the chocolate milkshake I had ordered. Good thing I'm not allergic to peanuts!

I usually love this product. I had it awhile ago and it was great.Unfortunately, I can't say I'm having a good experience with my order. The taste is god awful and there's little black circles floating around even after shaking it profusely (I'm not sure if this is suppose to be there, they weren't last time I got this flavor.)It seems like I lost $50 because I have a very hard time getting myself to take down this disgusting flavor. If you are a gym rat, you will understand how devastating not having readily available protein is. And since I'm a college student, I don't have the funds to just go out and buy a new one.I will be contacting them for a refund or possibly a better flavor and then updating my review.

Taste nothing like cookie and cream would've returned if I didn't open

The cookies and cream flavor is terrible. Total waste of $30.

Product is extremely terrible on the stomach. Gave me diarrhea virtually every time I took it no matter what time of the day it was.

So annoyed . I hate vanilla but I got it because the pictures listed when zooming in say it's 160 calories vs chocolate and strawberry which are 170. Just got it in the mail today and the container says 170... would have got a flavor I care for if it wasent for their inaccurate picture

I've been ordering the same protein the last three years. Always been very good, until the last one I just ordered. They definitely changed the formula and it's way worse than what it used to be. The powder is much finer and has a bad taste now. This will be the last time I buy this protein. Pretty disappointed.

Worse taste strawberry flavor powder I tried mixing with apple and strawberry. Slightly better. Will not buy this again. Chocolate is the best. I can drink chocolate flavor straight with ice only

i dont know how they jacked up chocolate! i am going back to ON, i don't know about the nutrition side but if i don't want to drink it that wont mater.
