Good whey concentrate. All their flavors are good and mixes decent. I buy Six Star due to price and budget. The power delivers good amount of protein and works for me just as well as the expensive stuff. I have never seen or noticed a difference in the expensive vs cheaper priced stuff in my 20 years of training.

I have enjoyed using this protein. The triple chocolate has a milk chocolate taste and mixes really well. I do not get clumps using a shaker bottle. I really like the fact that it has some research behind it, and that they have added some BCAA's in addition to the protein. You could consume all the protein in the world, but if something is limiting the absorption of it, then it will not do you any good. I feel like this protein has some of the added ingredients to maximize the protein absorption. I feel like it is working for me.

I have purchased my second container of this protein. I tried cookies and cream this time. It is good, with a strong vanilla taste. I think I would recommend the triple chocolate for your first purchase. Anyway, I take this protein as a recovery drink after my workout, and it really helps. Since taking this protein I have upped my workouts from 5 to 6 a week. I think this protein is helping my recovery so that I was able to increase my workout volume.

This whey protein is so delicious and smooth! It mixes very very easy and taste just like a chocolate shake. So your getting all those valuable nutrients and protein without feeling guilty! I promise you can't go wrong with this pick! A total 10 out of 10!

This is a great value whey protein supplement. Each serving contains 30g of protein, and 2.5g of creatine. The protein mixes very easily in a shaker bottle and tastes just like a rich vanilla or strawberry shake when mixed with milk. I find it very easy on my stomach, even when mixing with milk and have had no issues taking two servings at a time. I look forward to trying the other flavors once I run out of this container.

In my opinion, all the leading whey protein brands give more or less the same performance. This one is no exception. Combined with proper workout and diet, it helps gain the muscle mass quickly.
Where this brand really stands out is the taste. I find the taste and smell of the whey protein very unflattering. I have had problems keeping the concoction down in the past. This brand however, has really good taste keeping in mind that it's a protein powder, not a milkshake mix. The smell can be alleviated by adding some vanilla ice cream or such. This is a must try brand if you have trouble with whey taste.

GREAT product! It is exactly what it advertises itself to be. I appreciate that it has no artificial sweeteners! It is hard to find a protein powder that does not contain sucralose. If you are looking for a basic protein powder with a delicious flavor, this is it! Highly recommended!

I'm not a protein powder aficionado by any means so I can't tell you whether this one is better than any other brand of protein out there. But I use this to make protein shakes and smoothies and the vanilla flavor is really nice.

This is a quality whey protein product and I use it for smoothies, and it blends in without any problem. I have tried it with soy milk alone, and it does have a bit of an aftertaste, so I prefer mixing it with frozen fruits to turn it into a super healthy smoothie. I have one every morning! This is a good price for the amount of nutrients you get with this whey protein product, I highly recommend it.

Great protein powder. I recently tried the chocolate one and decided to give strawberry a try. They are both delicious and give me energy. I use 1 scoop with 8-9 ounces of soy milk after the gym. 1 container lasts me about a month which is good because I use it about 3-4x a week after a workout. Great company and great product.

I really like this protein powder, tastes good and it doesn't have artificial sweeteners.
Artificial sweeteners make me very inflamed and my hands and joints hurt. My daughter likes the chocolate blended with a banana, a little peanut butter and almond milk. I prefer the vanilla, I either do a banana, pineapple and unsweetened coconut milk with ice or frozen strawberries, pineapple and unsweetened sparkling lemon water with a little stevia.
I have run the gamut of protein powders over the years, from soy to pea protein. I like this one the best, tastes good, easy to digest (for us) and doesn't inflame me. The prices go up and down on Amazon. I prefer to get them for under $20 with free shipping, but I will go up $22 if I'm totally out.
Oh yeah, this 100% natural has a short paragraph of ingredients. There is another version that has a much longer list of ingredients, I do not recommend that one.

Mixes up good with minimal shakes,no grit,clumps or chunks and very little foam.Produces a thick shake with good strawberry flavor and no aftertaste.This protein has gotten better since it first came out,back then it was grainy and did clump a little but no longer is/does either.I would use again.

This is a great protein powder for the price- decent taste and easy to get down. My only complaint is that it takes slightly longer than most more expensive powders to dissolve into the milk or water, but it still dissolves and doesn't end up with clumps. I would recommend this to people who just need more protein in their diet and are not wanting to spend a lot of money. It isn't the best, but its definitely one of the best for its price range.

I liked this protein, for the price you likely won't find anything better. 30g of protein and 2.5g of creatine per scoop. I got the strawberry smoothie flavor and i found that i liked it better mixed with water than with milk, but that's just my preference. The flavor was excellent as was the texture, not too sweet and really smooth.

This protein tastes very good, especially for a protein in this price range. It mixes fairly well in a shaker bottle, or a blender. Based on the protein to weight ratio, it seems to have a reasonable amount of protein versus fillers. The only negative is that this product gave me constipation and gas significantly more than other proteins that I've tried (BulkSupplements, MusclePharm, Optimum Nutrition, and Syn6). I am not completely sure if that was just me, or actually a product defect. I was taking a probiotic at the time, and this seemed to overpower it. If you don't mind some gas, this is a pretty good choice for the price.

I like this protein brand, but the chocolate has a better taste. As far as nutritional value goes they are the same. To be completely fair I've tried the strawberry flavor in other protein product brands and didn't like the way they tasted either. I drank it all anyway because to me the nutritional value is worth chugging something that might not twang your buds for flavor's sake. After all, this is not a milk shake. We drink it to supplement our lean muscle building diets. This brand has good value over all in my opinion, but if taste is important to you more than price, go with the chocolate. When I bought this, the strawberry was a little cheaper than the chocolate. If you like the way strawberry protein products taste, then you're golden.

I truly like this powder but it is less palptable than the soy one I bought. I have to add fat free plain yogurt and soy or almond milk to drink it (at the least). Water only and I cannot choke this down. It smells great though! Very healthy too, I can't complain.

Tasty and nutritious! My only concern is that the container was less than half full when it arrived. I didn't actually weigh the contents, but I'm thinking it wasn't actually the full amount advertised.

This protein blends well and tastes good. I didn't find it at all chalky and it stayed blended in my Contigo while I worked out. Some I have tried separate while I'm at the gym and are gritty and gross by the time I'm done working out, which defeats the purpose. This one tastes way better with milk than with water though.

I liked this protein, it's no full of chemicals, but is still whey. It has a good taste (a little watery), i mix it with almond milk and sometimes add fruit for a very good smoothie. Use it after my workouts or for a quick breakfast. Good price. Not sure if I will buy it again, cause i have got best results with other brands.

I have used this with water for quite some time, it tastes about like any protein powder you mix with water, but if you drink it quick then it isn't too bad. If you mix it with milk it is good, but I normally try not to do that before a workout, milk and going to the gym don't mix. If you are someone who takes it after instead of before then milk is a fine choice as a mixing medium. This product seems to be exactly as advertised, I wish it would dissolve a bit better in cold water but hey nothing is perfect. I recommend this product.

One thing I hate about them is that everytime I receive the product (be in amazon or elsewhere from a local store), the protein formulation is changed. This goes back and forth between two different versions of formulation - (1) very sweet (tastes like a lot of sugar than the claimed 2g sugar per serving) that takes a lot of time to dissolve in water, and the powder consists of very fine particles and (2) perfect taste (not very sweet), does't take long to dissolve in water, and the powder consists of relatively grainy particles The (2) is what I love and wish I received everytime.

It would really help if Six Star is consistent with their formulation techniques and give the same less sweet product (which is less sweet (2)) everytime.

I like Six Star Protein, but I do not like the taste of the Cookies and Cream. I now mix it with half of the double chocolate protein which makes it taste better.

Tastes good, I take 2 scoops after my WOD. But I won't order it again because it gave me incredible gas. Much more so than other protein powders I've used. Maybe just no whey for me.

I have only purchased two different flavors of the Six Star protein powder; the triple chocolate and the cookies and cream.

The cookies and cream is fantastic! The taste is really good. The consistency when mixed is what you would expect. I have no complaints about the cookies and cream.

It is the exact opposite of the triple chocolate. The triple chocolate is pretty bad. The consistency when mixed is pretty gritty. I was pretty disappointed with it.

Of course it's not all about the taste. The nutritional value is really good for these products. I use them as a meal supplement once a day.

I used whey protein about six years ago when I was experimenting with weight/muscle gain and it generally helps with water retention that does translate to some bulky muscle gain that you can even cut up or down. Now I'm actually comparing it to an all natural pea protein and it just doesn't hold up! My biggest complaints are that there's no peak nutritional value, which is a very big deal (the pea protein is twice as effective here) and also the taste is not as good as the brands I first tried. A smell just like flour make the taste almost unbearable but you can add a little salt to remedy that. And I'm not so sure I wouldn't get the same results just using a brownie mix instead. All in all I think I'll probably get the desired effects in my leg workouts, assuming its whey and not flour?!? But there are much better brands if you ask me...BF; MM. #ONE TIME ONLY!

I got this because if was highly recommended by my sister, and while it's a decent size container...I'm not a fan of the flavor. I will admit that I am a little picky. But I've used shakeology and was able to hold that down.

I thought taste was fine and it mixed well in a USB powered blender cup. However, this formula is made with Stevia extract and after using it three times and becoming increasingly ill, I discovered that Stevia is from the ragweed family and I am allergic to ragweed. I had stomach bloating, nausea, vomiting, muscle aches, horrible chills, high fever with sweating, then rash and itching all over my body. Every time I used it I would wait at least a month to use again. Third time the symptoms were horrible and I found out it was the Stevia. Just an FYI

It hurt my stomach and the flavor was kind of weird. I've only tried it in water and coffee (the coffee idea was good idea, but I could still taste a weird vanilla-ish taste.) I want to try it in soymilk to see if that would help. The flavor wasn't terrible, I actually liked it at first, but I think I started associating it with the tummy ache that would follow. I think I should try a half scoop in soymilk, I'm a petite female so maybe a full scoop is just too much for me. I did like that it was all natural.

Tastes pretty good if that matters to you, good deal. I got this when tight on money and didn't regret the purchase at all. My blender recently died so I had to mix this stuff with a spoon, it can be pretty clumpy in that situation, but so can other powders.

I've been using the chocolate pure protein mix for a couple of weeks now and I've really enjoyed the flavor mixed with peanut butter and a banana so I was curious as to how Vanilla would taste. Mixing the Vanilla pure protein and whole milk tasted too sweet for me and gave off flavor similar to raw cake batter. However, after i added a banana, some blueberries and yogurt it made the cake batter flavor much more mild. Overall, Vanilla isn't bad but I much prefer the chocolate mix. Also i would highly recommend you use a blender to mix the protein powder instead of a spoon, otherwise it will not mix well.

This has decent micronutrients, but has very,very artificial sweetened after taste. It does not taste like cookies at all. Tastes like watered down milk. Might be ok mixed with food like to flavor a bland dish like oatmeal,but just drinking this stuff is a chore!! Definitely won't buy again!

Normally love this and usually buy it from the local store, which was recently out of the chocolate. The contained I received from Amazon looked the same but was very different than what is purchased locally. Very little taste, very difficult to get dissolved, as well as left a very heavy film inside the glass. Reminds me more of the casein powder. I will not be purchasing it from Amazon in the future.

So ive been using this protein 4 a few yrs now & now all of a sudden sixstar changed the flavor on the strawberry. It says " new & improved flavor". Nee, uesb improved, noooooooooo waaaaaaay! Why did they ruin a good thing? This new strawbarry is GOD AWFULL! The results of the protein r still VERY VERY GOOD. But it ise 2 taste soooo delicious. Now it taste like s***. Amazon please tell this company 2 bring back the origional srawberry! They fixed something that wasnt bromen. Now its broken. I used 2 always give a 5 star rating on this but now the nasty flavor loses 3 stars. But it still has the BEST results after use.TERRIBLE NEW FLAVOR.

If you're used to O-N or any of the higher-end brands this will taste terrible. It's clumpy and has an almost cinnamon-y taste to the triple chocolate. I bought this because its price/oz. was cheap for the protein content. I will finish this just to keep my protein intake up, but after this is done I'm going back to Optimum. Beginners might like this. It's affordable for sure. But if you're serious about what you put in your body and are very active, reconsider.

Tastes like any other chocolate whey I've had before, mixes great. I thought was priced well then got it and realized I had been swindled. I was in the market for a whey protein with high protein per serving, this one was nice and cheap with 30 grams per serving, (which is better than most, especially Muscle Milk (which isn't strictly a whey protein powder I know) ). Then I got it and found out the serving sizes are 49 grams! Figures there is 30 grams of protein, jeesh. The product description say scoops are 42, but if you look at a zoomed-in picture of the main photo you can see the 49. So I'm at fault a bit for not doing my research but not sure why the product description is giving false information, it must be a for a different product. Hence the two stars.

Hardly any taste. I added vanilla extract, cinnamon, mixed fruit, a banana, milk, and truvia and still could get no taste.It doesn't tastw bad, ot just doesn't taste.

I do not like the taste of the flavoring used in this product. Even when I add fruit, I can still taste it. The flavoring overpowers the fruit. Will not buy again.

This is the third protein powder I've tried and by far the nastiest tasting. There's something like a sugar substitute aftertaste to it that makes me do an "Ugh" face. As a frame of reference, MetRx Protein Plus Chocolate is my favorite taste wise, but I'm most a fan of Body Fortress Whey Isolate and will return to it.

Not real easy to mix...I use a shaker blender, and it takes effort to get this stuff to break up.

I have purchase Pure Protein products for several years, I purchased this tub of French Vanilla instead of the regular Vanilla Crème and I am not happy with the consistency of my frozen smoothies when I use it. It doesn't thicken up with the ice like the Vanilla Crème. The taste isn't terrible but I definitely prefer the Vanilla Crème.

The drink was very clumpy and flavor was off. Amazon gladly refunded without returning product. Why Amazon is great.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I have been using the triple chocolate for a while and liked it but got my first tub with a "NEW" sticker (code X0016MZ5K7) and I threw it away after 1 use. I think the new formula should be checked to see what the sawdust content is. Just horrible, horrible stuff. Six Star / Musletech has lost a customer for good.

Ever since they changed the formula about a month ago, the taste is terrible and the powder is super clumpy in a blender bottle. Didn't have either issue before and used to love the product, now I'm switching.

Strawberry flavor is repulsive.

The taste isn't too terrible but it doesn't mix well with water and a spoon! It's super clumpy which makes it almost unbearable to drink cause it's so nasty. I've been drinking various whey proteins mixed with water and a spoon for years and this is by far the worst I've encountered. If it wasn't so clumpy then it'd be fine. Maybe it'll be better in a blender but for me that takes too much time just for a quick protein shake. Would not recommend there are better options out there.

It tasted way too sweet and superficial. I would go with Orgain instead; it may taste bland with some people, but I would prefer that taste than what this powder tasted like. I had to blend it with Orgain to make it drinkable. Never again.

The formula has changed. No longer isolate, instead a mix with mostly concentrate. Now sweetened with fructose, not Stevea. No longer subscribe and save with this product.

My stomach was in major pain and bloating after the first shake!!! Ruined my day, I was perfectly fine and all of a sudden scene GI distress! What is in this stuff!?

When I received this it was about 2/3 of the way full. This is the most terrible tasting protein powder I've ever had. Please save yourself the trouble and buy something else.

Even running it in a blender for a very long time, the powder separates from the liquid in big nasty clumps.
