This worked perfectly. We had a slightly weak signal and this managed to push all the channels from our antenna out to all the rooms in the house.

I am an unbiased reviewer. My situation is as follows. I have an antenna (ClearStream 4V Indoor/Outdoor HDTV)in my shed attic approximately 100 ft. total cable length from entry point to the house. It is approximately 15' above ground level. There are a lot of trees around so don't have a clear sight line in any direction. The wifey required the antenna to be invisible so was easiest to place there, and higher than in the attic. It is amplified with a Winegard LNA-200 Boost XT HDTV Preamplifier. The RF cable is 100' quad insulated RG6. There is the old Direct TV amplifier at the point of house entry. It is connected to 5 Tvs. The signal was uniformly at bit weak at each set so I thought a bit more signal gain was required so I tested the 1byone amp on the TV farthest away from the point of entry. I got many more channels than before. All look good and the lock on the signal is great! Since then I have placed a 1byone on each TV with excellent results!Why didn't I just place a bigger amp at the Antenna? Because it would still have to go through the old Direct TV am at the house point of entry.AND would be almost as expensive as the individual amps used on each TV. AND much more work to test and install. Maybe a bit unconventional but works great! I'm located in the piedmont, NC

I didn't think I needed this but when I installed it along with thier antenna, I got a few more channels. The existing receiption noticably improved, but not by much.

Fact: You won't know if you need this until you have it. Some antennae simply don't need amplifiers. I didn't get great reception on a couple channels, so I bought this. It worked, sort of. With it turned on, I was able to locate four more PBS channels. Problem was that the channels still didn't have great reception and basically didn't work 90% of the time. Then the channels that were already working started glitching because the signal amplifier was causing interference.In the end, I decided to just live with the slightly degraded channels that I originally had as a trade off for the channels that worked well at first. So I really don't need this, but I can definitely see how others would.For the price, I would recommend buying it anyway, just to find out,

Had bought the 1byone 50 mile antenna a while ago which came standard with this amplifier and it played excellent. Eventually the amplifier burnt out and I replaced with another of a different brand which underperformed greatly with lots of breaking up and pixels popping in and out of the picture. Needless to say I reordered this one again cause of its superior performance I had in the past with it, and I am very satisfied with the stable constant signal it sends to my HDTV.

Cleared up the issue with marginal channels and added about 6 more channels. Worked for me. I used this with my Mohu Leaf antenna

This product is great if you know what you are doing. It raises the signal level by 20dB. However, if the signal is already high at the point where this product is used, then the signal will rail and you'll lose reception entirely. You'd need to place this product in a spot where the signal is high enough that it isn't too noisy but low enough that adding 20dB to it won't corrupt the signal.This worked for me because I had split the coax near the antenna with one run going to a TV about 6 feet away. Reception was fine. The other run was about 50-75 ft. The reception was poor on that run. Adding 20dB boosted the signal enough to counter the loss over that 75ft.

It is a quality product. However, I should have bought a stronger amplifier. This one wasn't as strong as the one I replaced so I'm not as thrilled with it as I could be. I believe it's my set up, not the product.

before I bought this is couldn't get all the channels. Now I get more channels than I realized existed on a free air TV antenna. Wonderful amplifier and works great

So far, it has been working okay.

Ordered to boost the signal for 3-way split to TVs that each have at least a 30-40' run. Hooked it up at the split and channels jumped from 18 to 32 OTA. I could probably get more with an outdoor antenna but chose to use a smaller, flat antenna that is placed in a window pointed in the direction of the strongest signals. If it were outside I would probably get everything in the area. This device boosts the signal by 10db. As others have also said, it is worth restating that this device amplifies reception and existing signal strength; it does not increase signal detection. Good product and warranted for 1 year.

We live around a lot of tall trees. We were pleasantly surprised at how this improved the reception. The price was great.

I order ONe in and One out. Arrived one IN with 3 OUTs. I have not problem with this but requires more space due to the size of the devise. Excellent Quality and Very good behavior. Increase the tv signal very nice

It helps but I still have reception problemsandmy hope was that this would solve them. I am located on the North edge of the Kansas City metro area and my HDTV signals should be coming in strong here but the TV is on an inside wall.

Bought this for my mom's house, she doesn't have anything but local channels and when the digital came along, she was having trouble getting/keeping signals. This did the trick, her channels are there all the time.

Added a few dozen useless channels but improved the signal strength for the channels we already received to be able to hide the antenna in a more discreet location.

A great little item. It helped me get the local over the air channels on my portable TV. Before using the amp I got 2 choice, a total of 6 channels. Now I get 7 choices, 24 channels. I am located 30+ miles from the antennas and am using a GE 34137 UltraPro Optimapplified HDTV Antenna wh

Didn't improve my signal.

For me, this does not seem to boost signal strength much or bring in extra channels. But it does allow a good signal to reach each of two DVRs without weakening much, which helped meet my biggest need. By the way, as others have noted, the unit you receive has four outlets, no just one like the picture. Other than that, it's about the size and appearance the picture suggests. And though you just guess this from the picture, it does have a standard cord to plug into a normal AC socket.

This product works as good as your television antenna would allow it to work.

Turns out, The amplifier wasn't needed. I needed a new antenna, because I got a 4k tv. So, I needed a 4k antenna.

I received this amplifier on Thursday 10/13 and it stopped working on Sunday 10/16. Ridiculous!UPDATE: After receiving a new one from the company, product seems to be working as expected.

actually it dropped the signal I had by 4db so no bars showed; 1 bar is 16+ db . Time to do more searching for a GOOD amplifier!not recommendedgood customer service

When I was unscrewing the cable from the Amp so I could re-position it, I could hear something unscrewing inside the unit. It did not sound good and when I plugged it back in, it no longer worked. Not going to waste my time returning it. Before I threw it away it was rattling inside like a burnt out light bulb.17 bucks down the drain.......

It just didn't help my reception on the furthest away TV

I bought this along with a 1byone OUS00-0187 Super Thin HDTV Antenna with 35 Miles Range antenna. I hoped it would help my reception, but it actually made it worse! I returned it. Note that returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, plus I had to pay the return postage myself, so I'll only get about half the cost back.

iT TURNS OUT MY PROBLEM WAS NOT SIMPLY A WEAK SIGNAL BUT A TOTAL LACK OF SIGNAL ON CERTAIN CHANNELS; AS SUCH, IT WAS RETURNED.

I'm not sure why, but this thing somehow not only didn't improve my reception in the slightest, but actually seemed to make it worse.

This did not help my television reception at all.....at least I didn't pay too much. Guess you get what you pay for.

As others reported, this seems to amplify some of my channels with a stronger signal while disrupting others. Haven't been able to figure out rhyme or reason, but I've taken to leaving it off and, when a signal goes weak, plugging it in to see if it helps. It usually does not.

Does not work as an amplifier. Causes the signal to be worst.

I somehow lose power when I use this.

I got this one to replace a damaged amp that came with the antenna. I had cobbled the damaged one back together and was getting 23 channels of a potential 28. This one cut my reception down to only 8 channels which I can get without an amplifier. Either it was defective or worthless.

Chinese wiring can't repair in USA, connections break real easy. Buy American, worth the extra bucks.

the device does not run me, I connect with cable tv and gave no signal, try several TV outlets and nothing
