Perfect for sking!
March 4, 2017
I am 6'tall & 190lbs I wear a size xl jacket and this fit perfectly. Nice and warm while wearing base layer and a sweatshirt. The mountain I skied on had summit temps of 5° before the wind chills and I was to nice and warm.
Zippers held up well, just wish the zippers where bigger so to be able to grab with ski gloves on.
Over all I am very impressed with this jacket compared to a very expressive brand name jacket.

Update:
While packing up to head home I found that the stiching under one of the arms had come undone ..... easy fix, but just mentioning it in my review
Excellent product. BUY IT!
December 31, 2016
Don't let other's negative reviews change your opinions. I bought this jacket for a skiing trip to Colorado and it had been amazing. I wore only the (tesla compression fit shirt full sleeve) underneath the jacket and I was nice and warm. Actually, at some instances, I had to open the zipper slightly because I was too warm.

The fit is great. Use their measuring chart and it will be fine. Quality is super. It was my first time skiing and my friends who grew up on it gave a lot of compliments. Of course they have $500 jackets by leading name brands which they tear up every 1.5 years but when I told them what I paid for this...

It's awesome. Buy it.
Wonderful Coat at An Excellent Price
December 1, 2016
Great coat! Very comfortable design. I bought one for my son last year and he wears it all the time in winter. I just bought one for myself and noticed that the product has been upgraded from last year's model. The addition of the inside gator at the bottom is much appreciated, it helps tighten up the fit and helps keep you a lot warmer. That was my son's main complaint about last year's model, that the wind tends to blow up under the coat. That problem is now gone. I'd recommend buying up one size from your regular size if you want to wear a sweater under the coat.

October 31, 2016
For the price, this jacket is a steal. Great features if you plan to use this jacket in the snow. The built in 'half-gloves' are a nice feature, and prevent your hands and wrists from getting cold even without actual gloves on. They also fit nicely into a pair of gloves, which is awesome for those who take their ski gloves on and off on the slopes. Very easy to get your gloves to fit right over them too. The waist-line can be adjusted to fit with your waist, or can be attached to the jacket, depending on whether or not you need your waist to also be waterproof/snowproof.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this jacket at the price for any all-weather use. The quality of the material has no issues so far.
WantDo Men's Waterproof Mountain Jacket Fleece
January 1, 2016
I didn't quite expect what I received.....first of all the price is amazing. It's also warm, hood is detachable. I generally use a size M but I ordered this a size L and the result has been great. I have read most reviews complaining about the Zipper...as of now I don't have any Issues but will update this review later especially if I do have the problem. As of now, great color...great feel (microfleece)...both inner and outer.

Great Quality - Holds Up Well. True To Picture Appearance.
June 23, 2017
My husband absolutely LOVES this jacket! This is his go to winter coat for casual/everyday. It is stylish, fits well, and has held up now for 2 years - looks like it is still brand new! Highly recommend. We could not be more pleased with this purchase.

Very satisfied. Perfectly sized. Warm, lightweight and immaculately constructed it is the second time I purchased it. I highly recommend it.
Exactly what you'd want in a winter coat!
February 5, 2016
Very warm, cold air won't get through this material. I wear it out to start my car in the morning, it basically deflects cold air and insulates warmth at the same time, exactly what you'd want in a winter coat!

Decent jacket for the price
March 11, 2017
The jacket is a bit tight for xlarge. I norlmally wear XL in jackets like Columbia, in this case there's no much room for under layers can only put on shirt or lightweight pullover. However the Wantdo jacket is pretty warm in spite of being lightweight. The pockets are little narrow and there's hardly room for iPhone in the inside one. No room for a glove in front one either. Could only put my keys there. The material seemed to be water resistant at least ( didn't have a chance to test it yet). The front zipper is YKK and good sturdy one. Overall good jacket, made somewhere in Asia ( Korea?). The brand suggests it, and also on the size tag it said 4XL Asian along with XL Euro US. Decent jacket for the price.
when I thread my fingers through the hand liners at the end of the sleeve (which is a nice feature), the webbing of my hand feel
January 1, 2017
UPDATE 2/6/2017:
I removed my original review as it was unfair - I had at first only performed a test fit at home with too many layers underneath and gave a more negative review than this product deserved. I finally took this out for an actual day of skiing and have updated with my feedback below.

My cons primarily relate to fit; to provide context, I am non-muscular build, 5'11, ~170 lb. Arm length in dress shirts is 34 to 34.5", neck length 15.5", chest ~41" R.

Pros:
- kept me warm with only a wool thermal and neck scarf underneath (~25 F outside, light snow throughout the day, with some additional windchill)
- No noticeable zipper or build quality issues, *except for hood* (see cons)
- Decent overall fit

Cons:
- arms are just a bit to short for me to be able to use the built-in hand liners.
- arm opening is a bit tight, unable to tuck gloves into the opening. Might be a problem if I was skiing powder and snow was flying everywhere.
- vertical length just a bit short; I would occasionally get a brief draft up my backside. Again, may be more of a problem if I was skiing powder or had a lot of falls; but I'm a beginner staying on groomed greens and blues.
- Draw string in hood detached on very first, very light pull. It looked frayed as if it hadn't been attached correctly or had been damaged.
- hood to small to fit over ski helmet comfortably.
- jacket is good fit with just thermal, but tight / restrictive with any other additional layer (i.e. if it was really cold, may be difficult to layer)

All in all, I stayed fairly warm and comfortable throughout the day. *Relative to price*, this jacket is pretty decent. Sure, I'd love a $500 goretex from a well-known brand, but this will work until that time.
Nice jacket, very comfortable.
November 29, 2016
Nice jacket, very comfortable. The size was right.
I bought a black one, because it was the only XXL color available.
It feels snug and it has a detachable hood.
It's a bit on a heavy side, but that's no big deal for me. I don;t go skiing in it, just to a car and back.
We haven't had any snow in Chicago yet, but I have a feeling this jacket should work nicely, in colder weather.
I like how the pocket zippers open downward. My previous jacket had it reversed and I often lost my car keys or small objects.
Plus, it makes easier to put hands in your pockets, if a zipper starts opening at the top.
I didn't expect wonders, for $68, but what I got exceeded my expectations.
Quality Winter Jacket. Long-ish sleeves, ships from China.
October 26, 2015
I was very pleased with this jacket although was a little dubious when I realized it shipped from China and wouldn't arrive for a considerably long-ish time. When it did eventually get here I was quite pleased with the overall look and quality of the jacket, except for one thing. While the jacket fit very well (I ordered a Men's Small) the sleeves were definitely much too long. I am 5'1" and while the rest of the jacket fit nicely, the sleeves went about 4" past my finger tips. I decided to hem the sleeves myself for a better fit over-all. I've seen other reviews mention the poor zipper quality - I can't report on the zipper at this time as I haven't had the opportunity yet to test it after prolonged use in snowy conditions. I am very pleased for the most part with the jacket, I only which there was an American distributor for it. I will be using it mainly for snowboarding.
Beware of zips on Chinese-made clothes - update 2
December 30, 2014
We bought two of these jackets - one for my son and one for my daughter - to go skiing. The jackets kept them warm enough in very cold temperatures, but two zips broke on the men's jacket, including the main zip, on the second day of use. Given the temperature, this rendered it useless and we had to buy him a new jacket at the ski center, which wasn't cheap. My wife, who is Chinese herself, said this is a big issue with Chinese-made clothing - the zippers are poor quality. So thumb's up for general quality and warmth, but thumb's down for the zippers.

Update following emails with seller: The seller responded promptly to my complaint and offered three choices, including returning the jacket to them in China. However, that would be at my expense, so instead we accepted a partial refund which we will use to get a new and sturdier zipper put on the jacket here in the USA. Since many people have noted that the jacket is generally good quality, and several have noted that the zippers are flimsy, I feel this is a good solution.

Update 2: As a result of my and other comments on this jacket, the seller assures me that they have now changed the supplier of the zippers, so that the product will be better quality in future. Assuming that is indeed true, I have upgraded my review from 2 to 4 stars, because otherwise the jacket performed well. I hope they are right.

May 12, 2016
I ordered regular size and it fit perfectly. This is a great coat. With two layers it's perfect to pack for a trip with unsure weather conditions. The inside/outside layer is incredibly easy to zip back in once detached. I thought if anything that would be the disappoint aspect of the jacket but I was so surprised at the ease of zipping it back in! The jacket is made of excellent quality. Very happy with the purchase. I was apprehensive about spending over $200 but it's worth it for the quality.

It fit me perfectly, warm and comfortable. The only gripe is that the outer shell doesn't have any insulation in the pockets which sucks in winter. Otherwise, it's a really good jacket.

Nice at first but ripped within the first month of light use.
May 11, 2017
So this jacket was great for the first 3 weeks or so then the stitching on the shoulder tore a little from light use which was a huge disappointment since I actually really liked the jacket. It fits nicely and is very warm but after the small tear it just kept ripping down the seam so maybe the quality isn't as nice as it seemed at first. I can't even say I got my moneys worth out of this thing because of how short of a time it took for it to tear. So buyer beware.
Very warm but not waterproof or resistant
January 3, 2017
So this is a very warm jacket and very windproof but certainly no where near waterproof or even water resistant. I even tried to added waterproof sprays on this but the material is too porous and will just get soaked. So just be aware of that if you are looking to buy this.
This XXL was not really an XXL it was more like an XL
September 13, 2015
I need to have the seller contact me. This XXL was not really an XXL it was more like an XL...it was too small.
So, we will need to exchange for XXXL, in order for it to fit. The size chart was off in selling this product. So,
this is the result, request for contact from seller and trying to resolve this issue. The jacket, itself is simply
awesome. Waterproof, windproof, thick soft fleece interior and outside amazing. I will change the star rating
to five, if, I receive the seller contact for remedy and receive the corrected size. Thank you.
Listen to seller, not reviewers, when sizing
September 7, 2015
Don't listen to other reviews with respect to size. The seller has updated their sizing chart in the product description. Use it! Its very confusing now, as you can't be sure to listen to what reviewers have said or what the seller is saying in regards to size. No doubt this is the sellers fault for not having appropriate sizing information in the first place, but they have listened and updated the information.

I returned mine as I listened to reviewers when ordering and my could have fit two of me in it. I am 6'1" and 190lbs and ordered a 2X. They actually sent me a 6X Asian sized coat (they should have sent a 5X but I think it'd still be far too big). If you can get one that fits, they are SUPER WARM.

Other reviewers mentioned the low quality zippers. Honestly, if they replaced the cheapo zippers with better quality ones, they could sell the coats for $20 more and buyers would still be getting a phenomenal deal. The trip I needed this for is in a few days and I don't have time to get a better fitting one.
Big, Warm, Bulky Bomb of a Jacket (but beware of sizing, ordering problems)
January 30, 2015
I ordered an XXL (5XL tag) but received a 6XL.) This was a good thing because it was still not completely loose in the shoulders. So I believe they do run a bit small. The jacket is inexpensive so I did not expect too much, but it is pretty nice, warmer than hell (too warm unless it is down around freezing, in my opinion). It looks cool, but the pockets are a bit small, and the zippers are a bit herky-jerky. Be sure to read all the tags on the jacket and the little cardboard tags that come with it...rather entertaining translations. Have not really tested it's waterproof-ness, nor it's durability. I would say it is a great warm jacket for casual use or back up in an emergency (like for keeping in the car in case you get stuck somewhere.) I give it 4 stars according to the previous statement, not 4 stars in that I think it can compete with a more expensive brand name jacket, because I doubt that it can as far as durability is concerned.

Update February 21, 2015: I LOVE this jacket; the zips have loosened up with use, I removed the hood and now it is much more comfortable and better looking (just wear a hat instead.) I recommend wearing a long sleeve shirt under it, because the sleeves do not breathe as well as the rest of the jacket. I have taken this jacket out in hard rain and wind and it is great. I am not saying it will keep you bone dry all day, but an hour or so in the rain...no problem. A real bargain...I would order another, but have no confidence that they will send the right size.

One time, I just draped it over my shoulders like a cape and it still kept me warm.

I do a lot of walking, but do not put the jacket to any other activities like working or skiing, but for what I need, it is great.

Despite the fact that I love this jacket so much, I have down-graded it to 3 stars, because of the known sizing problems, and the fact that they sent me the wrong size from what I ordered (this time it worked out well for me, but for you, their mistake might not.) I actually had to order two before I got the right size (gave one away.) So in the end, it was not such a bargain.

Good stuff to wear year round
February 23, 2017
This product is a fine example of North Face design and execution. The liner is easy to remove and wear as a light jacket leaving the waterproof shell available as light weight waterproof rain gear.
NOT TRUE TO SIZE ADVERTISED
January 18, 2017
The jacket is listed as a medium but is far larger than any other North Face medium-sized jacket that I have ever purchased. The tag on the actual jacket states XL/TG as the size but the paper tag attached states it is Medium. I bought it for someone who is 6' tall and it is way too large.

Poor Stitching
March 16, 2017
When I first tried it on, the drawstring for the hood came detached from it's anchor point. I was willing to accept this flaw since I never really use a hood cinched down. However, after about the 5th time I wore the jacket, the seam under the armpit started to unravel. It seems the stitching in the jacket isn't anchored at the ends. Upon closer inspection, I'm thinking all the stitch anchors will come loose shortly. I was going to return it, but I guess I've already had it too long. Amazon offered free returns when I purchased it back in Nov 2016. It's now March 2017 and the link is no longer available. It is very warm and very water resistant. Too bad they put so much effort into creating a nice coat only to be let down by the stitching. In the photo with detached drawstring, you can see another seam on the hood starting to unravel.
THIS JACKET IS NOT WATERPROOF
March 14, 2017
The jacket fit as it said it would, was the correct color and is very warm. However, it is NOT WATERPROOF. It says it is waterproof in the product name, product description and there is even a patch inside the jacket saying that it is a WATERPROOF jacket. It's water-resistant at best. I was just outside shoveling heavy, wet snow for less than an hour and when got inside, the outside of the jacket was completely saturated and the inside was soaked through. It's a great jacket if there is,perhaps, a stiff wind and perhaps a light rain, but anything more than that and you can count on needing to change your shirt once you get inside.
On top of that, the stitching in the arm-pit tore apart the second time I put the jacket on.
Not particularly thrilled with the product. Won't buy another one. Wouldn't advise anyone buy one for use as a WATERPROOF jacket.

December 17, 2016
Seams ripped on second day. Inferior stitching is very weak. While the jacket fits perfectly (see photos) the underarm seams popped and ripped as I simply donned the coat.
I've requested refund and am nervous about the customer service, having read much of other customer's negative experiences.
Quality flaw
February 26, 2016
Just received today and both seams around the pockets were separated.
Very small sizes.
November 6, 2015
This coat was originally designed and sold only in China. All labels are in Chinese. The size conversion chart is not accurate. You will need one size larger. Since these coats were designed in China the zipper is on the left and the chest area is very tight. The sleeves are also very short. It is a nice coat but why not buy one designed in the US?

Great coat for 3 days!
December 22, 2016
PRO: Great delivery & very warm coat for sking & snowboarding. The XL size for a 6'2", 210 lb. highschool senior fit perfectly.
CON: After the 3rd day of snowboarding, the zipper cloth seperated from the zipper line at the bottom. (18 year old said he kept the bottom snapped when the coat was zipped up.) After that time, whenever the coat was zipped, it would separate from bottom up. (Glad I brought a spare coat for skiing.) See the attached picture to see how the zipper tore apart at the bottom.
Bottom line, very nice coat FOR 3 DAYS.
Poor quality
August 28, 2016
Jacket arrived with a large rip in a seam. Poor quality, which appears to be a common complaint among buyers.

As far as sizing goes, I am 6' 3", and 200 lbs. Bought an XXL. Arm length and shoulder width was good. Very wide in the body. For an athletic coat (skiing), I prefer something not so baggy and bulky. Will return, not replace.
-Inside pocket zipper broken on arrival (stitched over part of the zipper) -The main zipper was very difficult to get to actuall
January 26, 2016
Pros:
Warm
Waterproof
Windproof

Cons:
-Inside pocket zipper broken on arrival (stitched over part of the zipper)
-The main zipper was very difficult to get to actually get started
-Stitching is garbage. I wore the jacket one time and went skiing. One fall (where all I did was sit down) ripped the jacket from the left elbow all the way down the left side to the bottom of the jacket. The insulation inside the jacket was hanging out after this happened.

Final thoughts:
Save your money and buy a better quality jacket.
Zippers are awful
March 1, 2015
This is a good jacket for skiing. The zippers gave me a little bit of a problem, but I figured them out. At first I had to move them up and down a few times to get them smooth. One of the zippers stopped closing the teeth so I pressing down on the sides of the slider with a pair of pliers to fix.

Update 1 year later
I took to the slopes and one of the zippers completely gave out. The pocket ripped. The main zipper was coming apart. I'm not going to bother with this jacket any more. Looking for something better.

Company Does Not Stand Behind Warranty
May 16, 2017
North face products are way over priced for the company not to stand behind it's warranty. I have purchased many north face products and have been satisfied with the brand until several of the items had defects. I paid $90 for a pair of men's ski gloves and used them one season. They were very comfortable and extremely warm. However, during the use of the 2nd season first time out the outer layer started peeling off. By the end of the day the outer layer was completely gone. When I returned them to north face I received a coupon in the mail for $75 towards the purchase of a new pair. Their men's ski gloves are now $145. I also returned the inner lining of my tri-climate jacket as the Velcro from the outer layer had snagged the fabric so bad it has become difficult to zip. North face contacted me and told me that warranty doesn't cover material damage. I pointed out that it was their product that caused the damage, I was told that my case would be escalated and north face would be contacting me... I received an email stating that they were returning my jacket was being returned "as-is"... I WILL NEVER PUCHASE ANOTHER NORTH FACE PRODUCT.
