I wish I had thought of using this tape sooner. Great on hardwood or tile floor. Definitely use the method of not cutting all the way through the tape--make sure to leave a half inch attached and rip off the rest with your hand or else it's hard to separate the backing. Stick to the rug back before separating the blue backing from the tape.

I had a specific project for this product and spent far too much time looking at all the different double-sided tapes. Ugh. I'm glad I went with Duck. I needed to mate together sheets of bubble wrap style silver insulation sheets. A lot of tapes either don't talk about what they stick to or don't recommend super smooth surfaces. Admittedly I did put a liberal amount between layers just to be sure. If anyone is worried about it I found pulling off the backer sheets to be fairly easy even with my arthritic fingers, just make sure the tape is rubbed down well first (counter intuitive, I know, but trust me it does work better that way). For me this was scissors not tearing.

This is great double sided tape. I use it for what another user referenced and that is template making with routers. A couple small pieces will hold together moderatly sized boards to work with. And as he indicated it cleans off nicely IF you remove it the same day. i had left some on overnight inside my shop and the temps got above 80 in there and it took awhile to clean it off. Moral of the story try to put it on and remove it in short time and it is awesome. I had been using another brand. i wont mention the name but it rhymes with 3M. It was ok but this Duck brand blows it out of the water. Little duck joke for hunters. I would definitly use this again and recommend it. I have only just tried using it for wall hangings and so far so good.

It worked well to stick a fabric runner to the sidewalk. It peeled up easily afterwards. After pulling the fabric up we had to peel each piece of tape off the sidewalk for it held good. But it was easy enough that our 3 year old helped and thought it great fun to find them and peel. I am very pleased that this product is available for it solves that problem of table clothes and such from blowing away in windy conditions. We used it for an aisle runner and was very happy with how easy it was to use. It will take the paint off on delicate surfaces. I would not want my teens using it to put up posters, but if walls are already ugly, this would make them stay up good and not keep falling down like other tapes. The tape itself is a light cream color. The blue is a peel away top cover.

I've ordered this tape twice because it is perfect for securing area mats to hardwood floors. We have dogs and various mats strategically located to keep them from slipping and falling. I was getting tired of constantly putting things back in position after everyone ran around and ordered this tape to tack everything down. I have used it with long runner mats with a hard bottom surface with hard micro dots that I thought would keep it from holding, but it worked perfectly. I used it with my gel mats in the kitchen, again no slipping. I also used it with yoga mat like kitchen mats in front of our dogs bowls. Everything held perfectly, even through spills and house training accidents. I just replaced several mats and was able to pull everything up easily and the tape came off my hardwood floors without leaving any residue. I usually put large pieces (12-18 inches) around all four edges of the mats about 2-4 inches in from the edges.

Extremely sticky, but releases from hard surfaces cleanly. Used to attach plastic sheeting to exterior concrete. This stuff adhered through 20" of rain and 50mph winds!

I used this to but a workout mat down on top of my carpet because it kept sliding around. It was perfect and easy to use! The mat isn't going anywhere, however, I used almost the entire roll. That makes me upset a little bit because I really throught their should be more for the price. Great product! Check the length before you buy, if in doubt get two.

Our Maine Coon is a jumper; he will try to get on any table, counter, or surface he thinks he can reach. We don't like him on the kitchen counters, so we put this tape on the edges of the counters where we knew he was jumping up. Using two rows of this tape on the "access" areas of the counter successfully prevented him from jumping up! The first night we applied this to the counters, we noticed his furry paw prints on the tape, and we haven't seen his prints on the tape since. I confirmed he longer jumped up reviewing footage from our network security camera in the area, too.After about 3-5 months, the tape eventually loses its stickiness due to dust, people touching it, and other environmental factors. We simply peel the old tape off and reapply. A tip for those who want to try this method: lay down the tape without taking off the blue lining, cut at the desired length, then peel off the blue lining to reveal the exposed sticky side of the tape. I also recommend buying 2+ rolls of this, as the thickness of the tape reduces the total length of the roll compared to normal, single-sided duct tape or standard tape. You'll especially want to order more if you want to keep your tape fresh and looking nice (in the kitchen, food and stains would get on the tape making the tape look yuck).Great product!

I use this tape to secure puppy pads to the puppy pad holder. I have two, 18 week old maltipoos. They are VERY active, and many times I have found the puppy pad completely pulled off the holder, defeating the purpose of the holder itself. This secures the plastic back of the puppy pad to the plastic bottom of the holder and keeps it in place until I am ready to change it. Hard to cut from the roll with scissors, but a breeze to cut with a quick light score of a utility knife. I'm sure there are plenty of great uses for this tape, but it works perfectly for my purposes.

I have a cat problem in my area. There is a corner in our property that cats love to come in through. I read on the internet that if you put double sided tape on a piece of cardboard. Cats will think twice before treading through that area again. I put some tape and card board in that corner of the property. Well those cats make noise at night, My dog is old and not as spry as she use to be. At least the cats make noise to where my dog can bark and chase them away. I am putting some on top of the bird cage since those cats love jumping on top of the bird cage. The bird care is located in a tree. Nothing against cats, just their owners that don't care about their cats. It becomes my problems when they are in my yard wrecking havoc.

Had to use something to keep my Interlocking foam tiles (for my fitness routine) that I put over a wood floor from sliding around.I did get a bit frustrated trying to peel off the backing.I usually order almost everything in my life from Amazon, but I did waste time and gas going to 4 stores looking for wide, double sided tape (thinking that it would be sold everywhere). I guess there isn't the demand for it, because I eventually had to give up and order it from Amazon! (should have done it in the first place). I just thought it would have been as common as toilet paper... I was wrong)

The tape works well. If you are going to put this on a cold metal surface--preheat first. If not, this stuff sticks about as well as a post-it note

Great idea to make a wide double sided tape. I was using this on my couch (new) to keep the cats from scratching. It worked well for a while, then the dog put his head on it and pulled it right off the couch. I'm not sure if this is because the tape wasn't sticky enough or if the dog fur was stronger than the couch adhesive. This would probably work better for lighter adhesive activities.

For every job, you have to have the right tool. This wasn't the right tool for what I wanted to do. I thought the adhesive should be as strong as the standard duct tape adhesive. It isn't.

It really doesn't stick too well.

I thought I'd buy a roll to keep around the house for those moments when I'm not skilled enough with tools - which is frequently, alas.I'm not particularly impressed. I am impressed with the little rolls of double stick tape which come in the window film kits so I had high hopes for this Duck brand product. After all, who doesn't like Duck brand duct tape?Anyway the tape not special. Did it sit too long on a shelf in heat before I received it? Who knows but so do many things and they work better than this product.The real question is would I buy it again and my answer is "no".

It's okay. It sticks to stuff, but not with the same voracity as standard duck tape. Difficult to cut or tear cleanly and removing the film is a hassle. It would be okay for crafts or for small projects.Things that it will NOT adhere to [well]:-laminate flooring-carpeting/rugs-rug backings-yoga mats-counter tops

Doesn't last. Used in travel trailer to hang a VERY lightweight canvas picture, fell off within an hour, used on window with a paper cross. Fell off after 2 months. Loses its sticky. Not impressed.

This product is nice and sticky to begin with (first day) which is what I wanted (needed) I wanted to use the product to put around my door jams to catch insects (scorpions) crawling through when the doors are open but It loses it stickiness within 3 days.The good thing about it is that is did not damage my paint on the jam when I removed it. I need to find something that retains it sticky value.

I had purchased this tape to attach various tv, and computer parts to desk surfaces, and the back of my hdtv.After 1-2 hours the adhesive turned loose, and item fell off. I reattached item, and few minutes lateritem came off again.

They cannot even hold a light-weight glass on the deiroor. I used about 2 meters of tape for a glass that is less than 4 lb. It dropped at middle night. Tried again, still dropped. Finally just used two strip of wide transparent tape (about 0.7m each), and they never failed.

It's extremely pathetic- it cannot hold anything. Tried it on baby proofing rubber/plastic edging, light plastic cup holder and various other light items..on wood/drywall/granite/brick..NOTHING STAYED ON for longer than few hours

I used this to stick my fender flares on my truck and after ONE day, it was coming off. Not completely, but it wasnt giving a flush stick like it should have been. Would not use for outdoor use or for plastic to metal applications.

This tape failed. Couldn't keep a 1/4 lbs power brick stuck to my desk cleaned the spot and tried again failed inspected the tape and the adhesive was stale couldn't stick to the easiest of places to stick things gum would've worked better

HORRIBLE DOUBLE SIDED TAPE! MAY STICK INITIALLY, BUT ALWAYS LOOSENS OR COMPLETELY DETACHES. STICK WITH SCOTCH MOUNTING TAPE, THE BEST!

Didn't stick well to my flat woven rug. Rug kept moving like before but now I was stepping on a sticky strip. One morning I bent over and pulled the strip. Wow!!! Got myself a floor restoration job. In all honesty it works on my thicker rug. But I don't want to think what will happen if I ever have to move that rug.
