Excellent quality, easy to put together...it should last for along time... BUT...the seats will need to be redone after a few years (to be expected when kids play hard)...I highly recommend it to anyone.

BUY THIS. Your kids will love you for it. Good for all ages, even my teens. Do protect the seats though from the weather because they are just cloth, and yes the grass underneath will have a circular path worn in it. My kids play with this for HOURS.

Kids LOVE, LOVE this gift. Even though they are different weights (ages 5&8) they make it work and have a blast every time they play on it. Seems well made and easy to assemble. Heat backyard addition.

Got this for my folks house out in the country. We put it in the yard and the kids absolutely love it! It's very sturdy and won't topple over. It has options to anchor it to the ground. (we however have not yet) I think this would be a good buy for many ages. Our kids are 4 years old, but nieces and nephews as old at 8 love playing on it. The shipping was fast and all pieces were included! Worth the money! Good sturdy material! Great addition to a back yard. I love this thing.

The only thing wrong with this toy is that my kids keep fighting over it. I have seven children, ages 2-12. They are all having a ball. It's very sturdy and well built. The box says it will support a combined 300 lbs. The seats are big enough that the older kids sit on them with a little one in front of them. My mechanically inclined eleven-year-old assembled this himself in a couple hours. We're thrilled with this purchase. The video features my seven-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter. They are both pretty big for their ages.

I live in a rural area and was looking for an outdoor activity for my city grandchildren who spend very little time outdoors in the city. This looked like just the ticket. It arrived as promised and it was easy to assemble, if you have patience and focus on the instructions, which are basically pictures of the assembly more than written instructions. The children love it! My problem now is that they want to take it home! It is very sturdy and currently has the appearance of lasting a good long time. But as for that, only time will tell. For now, I am convinced that, for the money, this was an excellent choice.

Coolest yard toy ever! I was about to purchase this toy on another site for way more money and decided to check here first so I could get it sooner and to my surprise it was here for way less. It was super easy to put together and it's amazing quality. The seat is extra big and cushioned so smaller and less coordinated kids can ride it safely. It's designed to stay floating so if one kid jumps off it doesn't send the other crashing like it did when I was a kid. So impressed with this toy and was the best $85 ever spent. Our kids love it

Great value, sturdy and I can see the kids getting years of play out of this product. I bought a dome several years ago from this same company and it still looks brand new even now. Quality product, highly recommend for parents who don't want to have to keep replacing cheaper yard toys for their kids. This stuff will last.

My boys have LOVED this! They got it to share for their birthday. It gives a great new addition to outside toys. They are 2 and 4. I have to help the 2 year old get on but won't be long and they will have it figured out. Went with this one because it seemed like better quality than some of the others. Some complained about the seat cushions but they actually send you seat covers now. We haven't experienced whether they weather or not yet but I did put the covers on them!

We have had this teeter totter for a while and have really enjoyed it. I rated it 5 stars even though the seats aren't great. If they were made of medal I don't think they would be as comfortable as the padded, vinyl covered ones are. The directions do say to keep it under a cover and I haven't done that. After my grown daughter and I got pink pants bottoms from the seats I did cover them. After about 17 months of weathering the seats are still usable but don't look very good.The adults who fit the weight limit see-saw and laugh like kids. We seem to enjoy it more than the young ones. A little nostalgia I think. We built up a base for the middle of the teeter totter to sit on which gives our longer legs more room to move. It's still quite safe for the kids.It's a very sturdy toy and a lot of fun for the price.

easy to assemble, seems very durable. previously people complained about the durability of seats when exposed to outside weather. well the company now ships them with water proof seat covers for the cushion seats. now the product is flawless.

I ordered this for my kids for Christmas and it was wonderful! Not hard to assemble and tons of fun. The only problem I have is that one seat came off, totally... the anchor that is in the bar just came out and there is no way to re-attach if the anchor comes out. Not long after that one seat came off, the other did too. Is there any way to get replacement parts? Anyone else experience this?

Sturdy, fun, and attractive!Directions: A picture's worth a thousand words..Because no words...only diagrams.I would have been willing to pay an extra couple of dollars if they would have included at least one more bolt or washer or nut!!

My kids love it. I have had this teeter totter now for almost 3 years and have never had a problem. I even live in Washington and the rain hasn't effected it much so far. It's a great hit with all the kids that come visit and my kids play on it every time they go outside. The spinning factor makes it nice for the younger siblings to enjoy too, but of course supervision is smart. It does suck that it makes dead grass circles but we just make sure to move it every so often to a different location in the yard. Worth the price for the fun it will bring.

Gave this as a Christmas gift to my niece's children. Won't know how they enjoy it till it gets assembled in Spring. It certainly Looks like fun when I watch the videos! Wish they had this when I was young!! Weeee

Went together easy, my kids laughed and laughed As they spun, made me nauseous watching them when they got er going fast. Pretty solid construction. Only complaint is one side the seat isn't level But kids don't care.

Reasonably easy to assemble, though inside packaging was ripped requiring much nut and bolt sorting.Very sturdy and 3 & 4 yr old granddaughters loved it. Rubber grips tended to slide off and handles should be reversible so little ones can easily reach with reversal as they grow. Might consider seat belt as a larger kid can almost dangerously unseat a smaller child during rotation.

This was purchased as a gift for my niece for her 4th birthday. The box that the set was shipped in, arrived taped up and torn in several places. The box should be more secured. I was worried that pieces might be missing. After checking to make sure that everything was there, I began to assemble the unit. The instructions were easy to follow and everything fit fine with the exception of the axle. It was very difficult, nearly impossible to fit it into the blue part. Still not 100℅ sure what the issue was. The paint or the axle may have been too thick or the opening was slightly too small. I used some oil on the axle and a hammer to pound it into place. It was still very difficult, but little by little it did go in. The side that was hammered on was slightly flattened out, so it did not go completely in. The slight lip that was created stopped any further progress. After the set was assembled, both of my nieces were eager to try out the see-saw. They love playing on it and so did the children that came to the birthday party as well kids who come to visit. The set has been outside since September and so far has held up well. For the winter it has been covered up with a tarp.

Easy to assemble, both my girlfriend and I tottered together on this so the weight limit is genuine, and I'd guess that it would support heavier. I do agree that the seat fabric is less than ideal, with the seat pad and fabric cover both holding water. I immediately upholstered clear vinyl over the seats during the assembly process prior to being bolted on. Disregarding the few pieces of grass that got under my vinyl, this made the seats more durable and waterproof.

It's very nice and much bigger than I expected . It wasn't raining yet so not sure how the seats will do after rain . We set it up two days ago and kids sat on it in wet shorts and it did not stein the clothes so that's probably fixed . What I don't understand is why it already has rust on it . We ordered little bit ahead to make sure we have it ready for our sons bday so it was sitting in a dry garage for about 3 weeks but as I say , the garage was and is dry .Other than that we are happy with the product and even we as adults use itI should add that the rust was there when we opened the package do its not because of weather elements

On the smaller side. My boys are 4 and 5 years old. They'll be able to use this for awhile... Well made except for the seats. They are padded which is a plus. I'm just not sure how long the seats will hold up. Dries pretty quickly after it rains though. I'd give this 5 stars if the seats were plastic

The kids like the products and it is built well other than the seat support is still loose after tightening.The big issue is the name plate riveted to the seat support, it is flat mounted to a round bar and sharp as a razor blade.While tightening the seat bolts i cut the top of my hand on it, a little kid could get a serious cut on this as well.needless to say i removed this immediately !!!!!

I bought the Gym Dandy Teeter Totter this Christmas 2013 for my Grandchildren and I'm very pleased with the quality and size of it. They are ages 3,4,5&6 and it's the perfect size not babyish at all which I was afraid it would be. No problem putting it together everything was there. If I must have one negative thing to say I would of liked it to have come with mounting spikes to secure it in the ground. I'm so excited for them to see it when they come over on Christmas morning and to get it out of my Living room :)

It is okay. I didn't realize how fast my older boys 7 & 8 could spin this teeter totter. My youngest 7 has gone flying off the seat. Overall if you have wild boys this thing can be dangerous, would be better if it had seat belts.

The kids absolutely love it and it seems to be made of very durable materials. However it took 2+ hours to assemble, requires two people, and the pictures are absolutely awful. There are a number of ways that the instructions could have been better. The packing was also terrible, many of the parts already have the paint removed because they had been damaged in transit.

Really fun and popular with the kids. Even adults have tried it and liked it. Some parts seem loose but it hasn't been out of use. A little dangerous if on cement but it rides smoothly on the patio as well as grass. Kids use it to spin rather than the up and down tete totter motion.

The kids seem to have a little trouble getting this thing to work right.

Assembly was easy.very good design however, i am concerned about the seat as it is made of wood and will have a problem with wet weather. would be improved if the seats were metal or of a material which would not weather in the outdoors.

My husband just put this together for my sons birthday and we are literally on day 3 and the seat has already ripped :( Other then the horrible fabric the durability of the teeter totter itself seems really sturdy and that it will last. Really disappointed in the craftsmanship of the seats though.

I like this teeter totter, It was easy to put together and did not take very long. I gave 3 stars because the seats are made of CLOTH, for a outdoor toy I think that cloth seats are going to wear down quickly and would have preferred hard plastic like previous models.

This is a good teeter totter. couple of issues I ran in to.one the legs are not balanced they come with holes to nail or screw down so I anticipate this will fix the wobble and the lack of balance. this is a chinese made product and the precision in the build is definitely lacking. I will probably instll the legs on top of Railroad ties for security and more height.Two the seats are probably not water resistance so it comes with cover that is very slippery and does not look good. the kids slipped on the cover a lot so the cover came off after an hour. I anticipate having to store this indoor or covering it when it rains.Three the bolt construction for the handle can never be tight enough, there is play in the handle but its not a big issue or a safety fear. I will probably weld the whole thing together so I don't have to worry about.These are the reason why I gave it 3 stars, otherwise overall I am satisfied with the purchase. I did not contact the manufacturer. I dont see the issues big enough for me to deal with taking it apart again and sending it back. It is a perfect size for a kid and it is a perfect size for moving it around.

We purchased this teeter totter for our grandson's birthday. When putting it together, we discovered 2 pieces missing, two pieces that hold the seats on! We contacted the customer service number in the manual and find that the parts are out of stock. It will be 2 weeks or more until we get the missing pieces.......after our grandson's birthday and party. Delivery was quick. Teeter-totter looks like it will be great fun and last a long time. If only we had all the pieces to complete it.....

First - the kids love playing on this all the time, and haven't managed to hurt themselves, so no complaints there - if I reviewed this immediately, it would have had 5 stars.Amazon we bought has soft foam seats covered with a thin material that already has started browning and has many small holes in it from just over two months of what I would consider normal (but frequent) use. It looks like sun/UV damage, and it does sit in direct sunlight, but we're just barely into spring here, so I'm disappointed. I think there are two versions of this toy around - one sells for over $200, and this one which was on sale for $110, so that may explain the difference - we have friends who have an older one that has a slightly different design that may be the more expensive one, and their seats are fine.I'll call the company, and if they have a replacement part available, I'll update the review.

My children love this so much. They play on it all the time. But, after one year, the seat has rotted and broken and it's no longer useable. 😢

IT IS FUN.Kids love it.we bought it on July 2014. Today, March 2015 seats are useless, broken.They ar not wheather proof!! ANy sugestion...

My grandchildren love this. But you need to take a very close look at the design. The space between the seat and the handle bar is really far apart which makes it difficult for a small child between 4 and 5 to stay in control while the other child who is 6 and taller does all the work of pushing is up and down or spinning. I recommend an adult be present even if it is on soft ground because when they spin it is hard for the older child to stop in time without stepping on the child that just fell off. If the older child is going up and down to hard then due to the spacing of the set and bars it is very easy for them to fall off.

Loved the Teeter Totter - hated the seats. These seats also disintegrated after being outside in the rain for one season. You simply have to improve the seats. They are comfortable at first but do not hold up to the weather.

Several parts were missing, including the wheels that go on the bottom. We would really appreciate them sent to us!!

I purchased this for my children ages 3 and 4. Within minutes my son fell off twice. It's definitely not safe for young children. I think it would be great for older kids--it's made well, solid construction. Just beware of using it at parties, etc with little ones around. It can swing around and hit them in the head. Not worth the risk.

It was easy to put together and the kids love it but the bolts on one seat were loose so we had to purchase additional hardware and the other seat ended up disintegrating before it was a year old. Under the cushion is cheap press board so not very durable. Otherwise it has been a good buy. I am contacting customer and service and will update rating if we get a satisfactory response. UPDATE: No replacement without cost. I think if a seat disintegrates it should be replaced at no charge. Way to stand behind your product...We'll fix it ourselves.

Seats not weather resistant. The red covers faded and the wood board crumbled in one season.

I bought this over a year ago and I am really not impressed.ConsAfter about 6 months I noticed that the red seats were starting to fade from the sun. Right around the year mark the seats totally ripped and flaked off the seat. The pin in the center that holds the teeter to the blue base rusted and broke so it was no longer a teeter totter and I went hunting for a new one.ProsThis was super easy to put together and I did it all by my self in under an hour the kids were on it.I will say that other then those two things going wrong it is really a great item. The metal and paint still look brand new. This was brought inside for the winter and most nights if it was remembered. It truly only seen rain a few times. I cant imagine if it stayed outside for all seasons....im sure it would have been trashed after just a few months. This could be a very awesome product but the seats are horrible. I personally wouldnt waste my money....if they fix this design flaw then id consider it.

I purchased this less than a year ago for my granddaughters and as noted by many others that purchased the toy, the seat of the teeter totter fell apart after several uses. I am waiting to hear from the Company for a way to fix the seat.

This was a great gift for the grandson a year ago but now one year later looks like needs to trash it. The seat coverings all came apart and should have lasted much longer than this. It is outside under a covered deck. Just not the quality that I thought it should have been.

I received this as a gift for my children. After just one year of use the seats and back pads completely rotted making it unsafe for use. I contacted the manufacture who charged me $56 to replace, that's almost 1/2 the cost of the original item. This metal frame and construction is well made and sturdy but far surpasses the lifetime of the seats. You can expect to have to lay out additional funds for this item if you want it to last the duration you expect. The seats are a MAJOR issue and the company takes no liability to accommodate their customers for a replacement even though the unit is stored indoors during unseasonable weather.

I bought this item for my grand kids and I don't think it's a year old yet. Anyway, the seats have faded and the coverings on the back of the seats have literally disintegrated. It's tedious trying to spin, and when one of the kids gets off the teeter totter, the other one hits the ground with a thud.My concern is possible coccyx and/or spinal injury from the hard thud to the ground. In addition to that, because they play bare foot most of time. ifone of the kids should hit one of the metal feet sticking out, it could/would cause serious damage.

As you will see in other reviews, seats rot quickly. Manufacturer is replacing at no charge but not worth the hassle.

I'm unhappy with my purchase. First, I'm worried a child's leg may get caught under while spinning. Second, while the children seesaw one goes up and the other one slams down...hard. And third, the two children need to be the same weight to participate on the seesaw. Frustrating for a parent of two different age/size children.

I bought the Gym Dandy see saw from Costco. Impex sells the replacement seats needed for this seesaw. I'm on my second set of seats. The see saw is well made but the seats are worthless. Don't buy this seesaw from Amazon, Costco, Wal-Mart. the seats are junk and will rot if you use the see saw outside, as it was intended. also, they sell covers for the replacement seats which will also rot, fade in the sun and rip after one season. This product is a complete disaster. DO NOT BUY!

Gave this as a gift to my granddaughters. A part was defective, my son has called them twice trying to resolve this. They are ignoring his calls

I have never been so disappointed n a piece of equipment!! It was next to impossible to assemble the bolts didn't stay n and keep it n functioning order one of my seats totally weathered away! It looks 10 years old when I had it less than 6 months!

We purchased this product about a year and a half ago and thought it was a terrific product for about 6 months. Then the vinyl started peeling off of the seats. After about a year much more of the vinyl was coming off and the seats were becoming loose. Now after a year and a half, almost all of the vinyl has peeled off, the seats are so loose that they're not safe to be on, the foam of the seats remain saturated with water and the particle board of the seat bases is completely rotten and starting to disintegrate. I wrote to the company about just trying to purchase new seats and never received any kind of response. I would not recommend this product unless you really enjoy projects like trying to find old bicycle seats that you can somehow rig to attach to a broken teeter totter.

We purchased this for my children for Christmas. We set it up outside, and as of March 7th (a mere 2.5 months later) the red vinyl on the seats is coming off and shows mildew spots through the material.The metal bars in front of the seats also made for some near calls with my girls sliding forward when they were up in the air. I had to attach pieces of pool noodles to the metal in order to protect their crotch area from being injured.If I could return the product for a refund, I would most certainly do so at this point. I should've gone with an all metal model. This is not quality workmanship!

We have had this for a little over a month and the seat has already cracked. It has not been used more than a half dozen times by 2 small children, not even heavy and one of the seats is cracking and the paint is chipping off too. It is a mess and I now feel a total waste of my money. I gave my first review as somewhat positive only because it was not good for our 3 year old, seemed dangerous the seat is large, but now I am furious at the short life of this toy and it is beyond the return time so we have no options.

We have two friends who have this and my daughter loved it so we bought it for her for her 4th birthday. It is poorly made - the feet don't set level on the ground, the welds are just okay (not what one would expect), the sticker was already coming off, paint was chipped already (we are afraid it will rust). The cost to return something this large and heavy was just too much so we kept it. My daughter does love it but who knows how long it will last. We are very disappointed.
