Five Star Reviews: | 68% There are no reviews yet | 60% Lots of play value April 6, 2017 This was very popular with the four year old who received it. Even with the stresses of use, there were no problems observed. Keeps them busy March 10, 2017 This is a great toy if you have some sort of flat surface in your home. The kids loved it this and it was great for the winter. Perfect for a Sensory Seeking Child! January 4, 2017 My children love this! We bought this for my daughter for Christmas because she is a sensory seeking child. She loves movement and was constantly standing on my son's rocking horse or chair to get that movement. As soon as I saw this I could picture her doing that and I knew she needed to have it. She has used it almost daily to stand on or sit in. The other kids also love playing with it. Great toy! Would buy again December 29, 2016 Bought this for my 7 year olds who are sensory seeking. It gives great imput while they sit/rock. They actually stay in one spot when they sit in this. It's great quality. My boys are active and impulsive. This is great quality, thick plastic. It's been walked on a ton and thrown around. I would recommend and I will probably buy a second one My niece was really excited when she unwrapped this for ... January 3, 2016 My niece was really excited when she unwrapped this for Christmas. She promptly ran off to the kitchen and was making popping noises within seconds. |
Four Star Reviews: | 18% There are no reviews yet | 10% Four Stars January 30, 2017 Nice and entertaining but it will drive you crazy with the constant popping product itself is great. February 14, 2016 I bought this for my son. Who really don't give it much attention because we don't have the right floors. It only pops on a completely flat surfaces, we have floors that make air pockets in the suction cups. Product itself is great- strong big suction cups and made of hard plastic and have to worry about breaking. Quick fun May 24, 2015 My granddaughter enjoys playing on this. She is 2 and a half. It makes a fun popping sound. Her play on it does not last long though, so I would say it will not entertain a child for hours - usually not more than a couple of minutes! The kids loved it. I'm sad that there is not an ... December 22, 2014 Bought this as a gift. The kids loved it. I'm sad that there is not an adult version! |
Three Star Reviews: | 6% There are no reviews yet | 15% Extremely LOUD Popping; I Couldn't Use As I Originally Intended October 8, 2017 I really wanted to like this item; I work with special needs kids and believed this would be a great item for children with sensory, self regulation, and/or hyper-activity needs. When it came, I tried this with my 3 year old nephew. He really wasn't able to use it effectively himself. I spent about 20 minutes rocking him back and forth (on the carpet) and then when my arms were about to fall off, I took 10 minutes to teach him how to rock himself and he tried, but it was hard, and really not half as fun for him as when I did it for him. However, when I purchased this, I had some older (8-9 years) children in mind specifically and was sure they would be able to use it to help calm down when over stimulated. I never got the chance to use it with them, because as soon as I put it down on the floor of my office, I knew right away I would not be able to deal with the NOISE this thing makes on highly waxed linoleum floors! It was like gunshots. Seriously. I knew I could not let any child grow attached to that thing for fear I would be driven insane by the obnoxious sucking pops made when this thing was rocked back and forth.I gave this to the OT; she has a foam mat in her room that completely muffle the sound of the suction cups. She seemed to think that she could work on some strengthening and self regulating skills with this thing. I hope so; it is a nice concept, but the noise just didn't work for me. I haven't checked back in with her since I gave it to the OT to see how she has put it to use.I'd recommend it, if you are able to deal with the noise, or if you plan to use it on a soft surface! Teeter popper January 15, 2016 This toy is fun for a minute, but is not a toy that the grandkids (ages 3-6) prefer. Mediocre choice September 25, 2015 I debated between 2-3 stars. It's not nearly as popular with my 12 and 36 mo grandkids as I had hoped. Parents put it in the carpeted area to avoid the noise, which is distracting enough that I would have done so too. And within 2 days one of the contrasting color handles came off and went who-knows-where so it doesn't look near as cute either. well made - sturdy and good suction September 21, 2015 8 yr old really enjoys it when plays with it, but goes months without touching it. well made - sturdy and good suction. |
Two Star Reviews: | 4% There are no reviews yet | 7% Totally underwhelmed February 27, 2017 Two positive stars because the construction is good. Three negative stars because the design is bad. If you want to use this for noise-making sensory purposes, or for sitting and rocking, I suppose it might work. I had envisioned using it as a standing-rocking-snowboardish balance toy for creative play, along the lines of simple Swedish-designed toys. It is not that at ALL. It is far too curved for a child to stand on it without falling right down. Not good for outdoor play because the suction cups will get dirty and ruined. Mostly just good for play on indoor floors. Not so much. February 5, 2017 Gave one of these to each of my grandkids. Shortly after Christmas they were stuck in a closet and did not reappear. I ended up sending them back. ... year old son and 3 year old nephew would like this but they tried it once and never again December 9, 2016 Thought my 3 year old son and 3 year old nephew would like this but they tried it once and never again. Gave it away at a garage sale recently. Destined for the trash, err, recycling bin. May 4, 2015 Yeah, I know. It looks like the dumbest toy ever. We bought this as a Christmas present for a relative who requested it for her son. After giving it, I can tell you it lived up to my expectations. It's made well (thus 2 stars), but is a pretty pointless toy. What kid wants to stay stationary on the driveway balancing on a piece of plastic for more than 30 seconds? Yeah, thought so. Put some wheels on it was my thought. If you have a very focused child and want them to work on balance, this might the product for you. If you have active kids that like to do fun and interesting things, take a pass.To me this looks like a product designed for the over protective parent type that won't possibly allow their child to do anything where they might actually have the chance of getting hurt (or having fun). I would not recommend this toy January 5, 2015 I would not recommend this toy. The rubber suction cups tear off very easily with normal use. It took my 5 year old Nephew about one hour to render the whole point of this toy useless. |
One Star Reviews: | 4% There are no reviews yet | 8% Not impressed w/Teeter Popper January 14, 2017 I was very reluctant to purchase this item, but my almost 6 yr old really really wanted it for Xmas. Its a dumb toy, entertains for maybe a couple minutes and then he's done. Its way over priced for what it is, does not do enough, very boring don't waste your money! I thought this would be a great gift for my toddler December 18, 2016 I thought this would be a great gift for my toddler. However, it was never played with and takes up a lot of space. Would not recommend it. this was not what I was attempting to purchase and ... April 2, 2016 this was not what I was attempting to purchase and I think the ad for it needs to be editing it is not for exercise it is for a kid to sit on sent it back and had to pay for shipping not cool Apparently the marking term "open ended play" means boring toy. My kid is very hyperactive and likes ... February 11, 2016 My wife made me buy this for our kid. It just sits in his room. Its a curved piece of plastic with suction cups on it. Apparently the marking term "open ended play" means boring toy.My kid is very hyperactive and likes running around and being outside. If he is inside he likes building train tracks or playing with legos. This thing just doesn't do it for him. Purchasing the Teeter Popper was a BIG waste of money November 10, 2015 Purchasing the Teeter Popper was a BIG waste of money. The popping sounds are annoying. I have six grand children , ages 7-16, none of them will touch the Teeter Popper. They simply don't like it. It has been untouched on my porch, for nearly a year. I'd love to get rid of it!!!!!! Total waste of money March 12, 2015 This toy seems well made, but it really serves no purpose. I had a 6, 4 and 20 month old all try it and the didn't even want to play with it. I paid around $50 for it. Unfortunately, Amazon said I needed to return it to the manufacturer, who sent me an email saying I was responsible for return shipping. I wasn't able to ship it back because it cost more for me to ship it than it did to buy it. Total waste of money. |
