I was finally able to save enough to buy a PS4 and it'd be a waste without a smart hi-def tv. The pic is AMAZING at 1080 whatever those are. The size is fine for me and with the PS4 hooked up you can go from gaming, to going online to watching tv with the push of a button. In fact you can get online just with the television. It has YouTube, VUDU and a bunch of other stuff. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I'm old enough to say watching hi-def for the 1st time is akin to my seeing a show in color for the 1st time. BIG thumbs-up.

This was my first flat screen and I could not be happier. The price pulled me in but now that I have used it I feel like I stole the dang thing. Great price and picture is unbelievable. This TV is perfect. Came exactly as advertised and preforms better than advertised.

Perfect size for where I needed it in bedroom sitting area and compact base for piece of furniture it sits on.Great picture. Don't even have it hooked to cable yet and probably won't.Use built-in wireless SMART-hub for netflix and web browser to pull in my Xfinity X1 account.

Absolutely love this television! The picture is crisp, the base is solid, and it's very thin. One complaint, the sound is a bit sub par, but easily correctable with one of the many add-ons out there. My preference is the Bose Sound Bar.

This is the biggest 32" tv and it is so easy to talk to the people on Bachelor In Paradise. I wish I had this when Who Wants To Be A Millioinaire

Sharp always has a nice picture and color. I wish I had bought the next size up because now they make the new TV's without a frame so the TV seems smaller but is the size stated. We need to buy another TV, so will buy the next size for that one.

I got this on black friday, which is when I hear they use cheaper discount hardware to lower the prices. I've loved mine though, and I haven't had any issues with it. Great picture, and I just use rabbit ears for local OTA channels and a chromecast for Netflix.

This arrived damaged, Amazon quickly replaced it and had it shipped immediately. I returned the damage one two days before the new one arrived. I purchased this for my elderly mother who recently moved to assisted living. I am amazed at the quality of picture. Fits perfectly on an end table. We chose not to hang it as we're responsible for any damage to the walls. Amazon has a photo to determine the distance and size for viewing. I found that very helpful when purchasing. Price is right. My mother and I are very pleased.

Excellent TV. So light weight was easy to install. Picture quality is very good and sound it pretty good too. It set's itself up pretty much plug -n- play! I pushed enter on the remote I think 3 times and she was good to go. I installed this TV in my camper. The thin edges made it possible in the space I had to work with. The light weight made it easy! I got this from Amazon's Used Like New so was a killer deal!

Bought this for my younger son's bedroom. Compared to my older TV in my other son's room, this is fantastic. Size-wise this is so much nicer. It takes up far less room than the other TV (both are 32" tv's). It is very thin and very stable. The picture quality is very good. I would definitely buy this again.

I have this TV hung on my office wall in case of a community emergency or wanting to watch my soap operas. It is a decent picture and a standard 32" size. There is no connectivity, only one HDMI port, and only 720p image, BUT for what i use it for it is awesome. This is a great TV for a child's room or playroom or even the office. IF you are intending to watch movies and videos with great quality, save up and buy the higher end model, but if you just want to relax and watch a show, I highly recommend this TV.

I'm not sure how to rate this TV, because I'm not as savy with new technology as I would like to be. So I've struggled with all the new features that we haven't worked with before and the paperwork was not very helpful. I hope to have some time to figure all of it out in the near future and maybe then I can give it a better rating.

Love my tv. Lovely definition and alot of options to what to do with it. My only set back is that it came as 110v only so that kills its "smart tv" status for me....now i gotta go buy a transformer as i live in a country that runs 220v. Really thought by now sharp does what samsung does and have range of volts. Other than that i love it. Plan to buy a small one for my bedroom but unless i see 220v ill go to another company.

My husband and I wanted a simple flat screen, no frills, bells and whistles, and we were looking for a great price. The picture quality is really nice, sound is effective; we purchased it for our bedroom. I'm giving this a four out of five star rating because my husband did have problems getting it mounted to the stand that we bought along with it, if you purchase this TV and plan to mount it on the wall, be prepared to go and buy longer bolts to secure it. Other than that great quality for the price!

Good TV, especially for the price. My complaints bring down the rating only one star, due to the TV being a bargain. My complaints are basically two: 1) very limited file support through the USB port (doesn't play mkv files, for example, just avi and mp4 as far as I can tell); 2) when you go to the menu when a movie is playing through the USB port (for example, to change sound options or something), you exit the media player completely and go back to the TV, thus losing your place in the film -- and actually this happens very easily if you press the wrong button on the remote. So, if you really want to take advantage of playing files off a hard drive or USB stick, you kind of have to buy a separate little digital media player for around 30 or 40 bucks. Other than that, a great TV.

we're please with the purchase. I think I'll buy a second remote control, however, because I have to use a button on the remote to alternate between functions. The $5 remote from Walmart can't change the function.That said, the picture is crisp and the sound is good - we're not using a sound bar. It was easy to set up.

Good looking, inexpensive little LED HDTV. More inputs would have been nice but two HDMI seems to be standard on lower end models. The picture and sound are adequate for the price range, but nothing to write home about. This TV was purchased for a young child and fit that use perfectly, if buying for an adult then spend a few extra bucks and get a 1080p set, maybe even a Smart one if you don't have a device connected that will fill those needs.

This is a wonderful TV for the price; the picture is as good as any, the sound is very reasonable and it has a good selection of inputs. I could probably want one more HDMI to be ideal, but I did know there would be two when I bought it.I have one reservation: It has an external power supply. Yes, this keeps the size of the TV down but I have all the other cables hidden in the wall except for this one. I can't hide the external power block behind the TV because I have a flat mount. I didn't find this information on the Amazon page so I'm a little disappointed.

Had to call Sharp customer service 3 times so far for 3 different issues with TV. But overall, pic and sound of TV is good and I have HD Cable. Not too many "smart tv" apps to choose from, but I only use YouTube and Netflix anyways. Next TV for me is going to be a Sony 4K Ultra next August for my 40th B-Day present to myself :) Cannot wait ! But for now, this one will suffice and can just use it for a bedroom tv next year.

Very disappointed that this TV does not stream Amazon Prime nor anything else other than Netflix.

I've only used this TV for about a week but it's not a bad TV. This Aquos TV doesn't have as nice of a picture as my old one. I thought this was a 1080p, but the picture doesn't look as good as my 2006 AQUOS witch is only a 720p. But the TV is has a very clear picture and it is easy to set up. This is a replacement as the first one that Amazon sent was defective, So I called amazon and they were great at sending me a replacement, I had the replacement in 3 days and only took about 10 minutes to set it up with everything attached to the TV. Netflix and Hulu work great on it as even my Dish network. I will revise this review in a few months for updates. Thanks Amazon. Well it's been a few weeks later and now I have a problem with this 2nd TV. it turns off by itself and comes back on every few hours. And after I turn it off every 4 or 5 hours it will turn it self on. I will be sending this one back and will try 1 more, if the third one goes I'm done with sharp!

Had no problem setting the tv up and employing the smart functions but the remote functions are a bit stupid. A smart TV needs a smart remote and should not force you to go thru menu after menu to set it up. My only other issue is the TV was advertised as having a USB connection and although there is a button on the remote labeled USB, there is absolutely no USB port on the TV ANYWHERE. I have issued a replacement order and the replacement better have all the functionality promised on the advertisement. Bad business Amazon to sell items that do not have the abilities advertised.

My sister loves her new tv but is not pleased with the sound quality. Must be connected to a surround or sound bar.

Fine TV for the money, but the strange remote functions left my elderly grandmother confused on usage. 720p is a fine resolution for a 32" screen- seeing as anything under 40" seems to be getting phased out by most manufacturers. Overall pleased- just wish the push for 1080p and a regular remote were options for this screen size and model from Samsung.

Spend a little more for audio outputs. Volume isn't very good at all

Got the tv yesterday. Pros: light weight, easy setup, plug & play, price/brand. Cons: needs firmware update, back light makes everything so dark, colors have to be pumped up, lots of shadowing especially evident on text. Am wondering if I should get a more expensive model or will I still have the same shadowing problem (its really noticeable & annoying). May return it for a newer series.

Volume does not go very high at all. Picture quality is good. I guess ya get what ya paid for. Samsung has definitely gone downhill in quality. I have another flat screen Samsung, same size that I purchased 9 years ago, and it still blows the new one away.

Great picture, but the sound only goes to 25 making it difficult to hear sometimes with background noise. I wonder if this is why I got such a good price on a TV set in which the box had already been open. I wonder it this TV is actually one someone else returned because of the sound problem?

This has a very good picture. And the sound is truly terrible no matter how much I monkey around with the possibilities. It's tinny and buzzy. I'm trying to find something I can plug into it for auxiliary speakers. I know a sound bar is recommended but I've been trying to juryrig other speakers without success as yet.

I started using my Sharp LC 32LE653U television on the 15th of October 2015. When I received it I was pleased with my purchase with the exception of the low volume. Over time I found these shortcomings which are causing me to regret buying and shipping this product. (1) no audio output jack so my speakers can't be connected to improve the sound quality. (2) when I connect a dvd player to the set the video does not show in colour, I have tried a new set of cables and that has not changed. (3) I am yet to see the fb option even though that was one of the selling points. (4) sometimes the set restarts in the middle of my watching a programme. (5) the remote control occasionally acts up.

This TV worked... but not well. The sound was bad. We almost always watched with captions because we couldn't hear it. It turned on by itself more than once. The menu was complicated and slow. We couldn't adjust the picture if Netflix was open (had to exit the app first). It badly downgraded the picture from my laptop HDMI line in. I mean, this TV worked... but it was a terrible experience. We're returning it.

TV arrived with multiple system bugs. Customer service was really nice, and I appreciate the service team that came out to try to fix it, but even after replacing a large part of the internal electronic system, the TV still did not work properly. After I was told that downloadable upgrade to fix all problems with random shut offs, lack of formatting code to use the internet, and missing critical OS update updates would not be available for another couple of months I returned the TV. What is the point of owning a smart TV if none of the smart functionalities work?

The TV will flicker when watching Netflix. I tried connecting the TV directly to my router with a cat 6 cabled and it still flickered. It only seems to flicker in the beginning of the show for about 3 minutes then it seems to either stop or I just don't notice it. I thought it was a malfunction with the TV I got so I sent it back and they shipped me a new one. The new one does the same thing. I feel like it does this till the Netflix buffer gets filled then the flickers stop. Not sure why. Amazon was amazing in my ease of returning the first one though. Love the service, wish the TV was higher quality.

The TV was advertised "as new- still in box". The "box" was in tatters and held together by gobs of sticky tape. The front black frame of the TV was scratched/blemished in several places . The TV worked. I kept it ...how the heck was I going send that "box" back!

Design of 2 flimsy base/pods aren't as stable as needed. The merchant's policy for return-product cost is almost equal to purchase price which is outrageous. The t.v is back in its shipping box. I haven't seen or heard the quality of image, sound, etc., to see if it squares with specs &/or ads.

TERRIBLE SOUND QUALITY!!

I bought this TV last year. It was mentioned in the site that it has in-built Wifi but very last figured out that they are referring Roku stick connection to the TV. I also have picture issues with this TV that is text renders with shadows when connected to the cable.

Really good tv great picture and sound but extremely flimsy

Color was hard to adjust to get accurate. Still not happy with true to life color. Agree with another critical review that sound is poor, no bass and sounds like tin box. No option in menu to increase bass or treble. After two weeks, sound of certain voices was distorted, reverberating ... at only 60% volume strength. Amazon was excellent in troubleshooting, having me unplug power supply, reset power button, suggest maybe it is the HDMI cable, etc. We'll see.

I bought this TV back in October 2015, I had some issues connecting to the Internet, but chalk it up to I just didn't know how to use the TV. Fast forwarded a year and half later and TV will not connect to the Internet at all. Bad investment, do not purchased!

Arrived with a remote control that didn't work and the TV couldn't be set up without a remote. After going through some hoops with Sharp, I was sent a new remote. It didn't work either. I returned this and ordered a different brand,

This TV was ok until after less then 3 months of using it lightly the sound stopped working. This TV has never been dropped or mishandled and only used a few hours each day. I would say stay clear of this TV unless you want to waste your money like I did. If I could give zero stars I would but unfortunately that is not an option and neither is returning it or having it replaced/repaired.

UPDATED: TV would not connect to Internet even on a wired connection. Returning product, will be purchasing a different brand.As an affordable barebones TV, this is great. As a smart TV, it falls a little short. The TV is in a room of my house where, while not close to my wireless router, other devices have no problem connecting to my wifi. This TV can detect the network but it cannot connect to it for whatever reason. Because of this, I will have to invest in a powerline adapter kit to use the ethernet connection instead.The TV has a pretty cool wallpaper function and there are a few pre-installed wallpapers on the TV. The documentation states that custom wallpaper can be used via USB if you load the images in a folder named WP which needs to reside on the root folder of the USB drive. I haven't gotten that function to work. Whether or not the drive needs to be formatted ins a certain way is not mentioned. The documentation does not state if the images need to be a certain size or format either.As far as construction, it would be nice if the recessed area where you would plug your cables into the TV was a little bigger. As it is, I imagine it would be pretty tough to plug in a stiff cable with a bulky plug. It would have been nice if the included stand swiveled left and right but the TV is small and light enough where that isn't too huge of an issue.If you're looking for a cheap 32" screen with a minimal feature set this is a great unit, especially if you already have a streaming unit to pair it with.

i have been disappointed with this product since i plugged it in. like many of the other people reported, this unit turns itself on and back on while watching it. the longer you watch it, the more frequent the problem. at times when it does cycle back on, i lose audio. i then spend another several minutes manually turning it off and on to restore the sound. it's very frustrating!and despite the name of the company, the color settings on the tv are not as good as my previous samsung.this is the last time i purchase a new model of anything and most likely my last sharp product. i am going to contact sharp to get this repaired. if i could get a refund, i would do it.

On July 15, 2015 we purchased the Sharp LC-32LE653U 32inch 1080p 60hz Smart LED TV with five year SquareTrade warranty.We are returning the Sharp TV because part of the apps, Facebook, has not been working since the end of April. Automatic message when we tried to use Facebook. Very poor customer relations and no explanation when we called then.Bought a new Vizio E32-C1 32 inch 1080p Smart TV from Amazon on July 24, 2015 and another five year warranty from SquareTrade!

I was extremely disappointed with that Samsung TV! It was cheaply constructed, and on the display it would incorrectly represent the input ports used, and every device I attached to it would only display pictures and videos in black and white; no color whatsoever, and that was the proverbial stick that broke the camels back!
