If i need a extra card, I would buy this again.

got this to use in my HTC U Ultra, after the card I had from a next brand kept disappearing and coming back. which was totally screwing up my settings.I am having zero problems with this card.
I Love SanDisk!
June 30, 2017
SanDisk holds all my data extremely well and keeps up with my GoPro. I had some photos from a DSLR were lost once, due to another camera reformatting the SD card. SanDisk was very helpful in recovering the data. This is why I am hesitant to switch to the slightly faster Samsung SD cards. No certainty that a company with several device branches would be as attentive...
SanDisk is gold when it comes to SDHC.

Great Micro USB card and works great for a handheld gaming system upgrade. I have always trusted San Disk and this was a great price as well. Shipping like always with Amazon was blazing fast. Very happy with this product and it has so many uses that it can be used for. High quality, awesome performance and a great price. You cannot go wrong with this item.
Awesome!

Bought for my Nintendo Switch. So far, so good. You'll need to update your Switch online in order to use and acknowledge this product.
Great card. Works perfectly

Great card. Works perfectly. I use it in a Voberry® MINI 5Gbps Super Speed USB 3.0+OTG Micro SD/SDXC TF Card Reader Adapter as a backup drive for the important files on my laptop. SanDisk may be a mite more expensive than the cheap Chinese knockoffs but they work!! I have bought three cheap cards recently and none worked and I had to be refunded my money. I'm only buying SanDisk from now on!

Would recommend for more space on your phone and/or for compatibility between mac and android.
July 24, 2016
This is awesome for it's purpose! I used to have a repetitive warning on my phone (a sony xperia z1 compact) saying that I had to transfer my content to an SD card, but I didn't know where to buy one, especially a micro SD. So I would always have to transfer it to my computer, but sadly I have a mac, and, as we all know, mac and android aren't very compatible, so I had to connect my phone to the computer and use a 3rd party program to be able to access the content of my phone.Anyways, it was super annoying, but now, all I need to do is click on transfer to SD card when my phone is getting full, and if I want to transfer to my computer, I just need to use the micro SD card adapter and plug it into my computer and voilà! Transfering takes half the time it used to.Also, I've bought two of them just in case, but I've only been using one since at least 3 months ago and didn't even need to empty it, even though I've been travelling a lot and taking a lot of pictures! I would definitly recommend this product if you need more space on your phone and/or have the same transfering problems as me.I hope my review was useful to you!
As advertised

Came fast, works great, didn't have a memory error. Kingston is so quality I even spilled soda on the adapter, took it apart to clean, and was able to snap it right back together. The reason this is noteworthy is because if Kingston used cheaper plastic (A penny of difference, which separates trash from quality IMO) then it would of broke while I tried to open it up in the first place, let alone allow for the friction of snapping it back together without breaking the infinitesimally small latches.I just felt like that was worth pointing out, because it shows quality & thought in manufacturing - the kind of which is scarce nowadays.
Well built card that lasts!

I was in search of a nice micro-SD card for my new phone. I can’t stand only having 8GB of memory. I purchased the 16GB Micro SD card and it is amazing. It fits perfectly inside my phone and does exactly what I need it to do.The micro SD card comes with an adapter to turn it into a full-sized SDHC card. This fits perfectly into my laptop and makes transferring music and pictures super easy.I am always weary when buying SD cards because I have had ones that stopped working randomly. I really liked the features that this card had and was excited to try this out. The card claims to be water proof. I love this feature. If I keep everything on my phone on the SD card, even if I drop my phone in water, all my stuff is still saved. I don’t have to worry about dropping my phone and ruining the SD card with the SD card being shock and vibration proof. This SD card seems to be very well built, and definitely worth every penny. After a month of use, it still works great without any sign of breaking or dying.
Passed all benchmark tests!

WARNING! ONLY PURCHASE FLASH MEMORY FROM REPUTABLE ONLINE SELLERS LIKE AMAZON LLC. This card is sold by both Amazon, and multiple other marketplace sellers for cheaper but for a reason. If you try to save a buck and go with a market place seller then you will probably regret it. ALWAYS avoid said "Bulk packing". That is a FAKE product, PERIOD! After visiting the official Kingston website for this card you will see that Amazon is a "preferred online partner" for the sale of this card. That absolutely DOES NOT include marketplace sellers. I can't stress enough the caution required to buy genuine flash memory. So please remember, only buy flash memory sold by AMAZON LLC. You will be able to see who is selling easily. Anyways, onto the review. I bought this for my HTC Flyer. Imediately after opening I ran a benchmark test using CrystalDiskMark and everything came out clear with true class 4 speed (4mb/s) a tested capacity of 7.4GB. I plugged it into my HTC Flyer and have noticed a huge increase in the speed of data transfer. (Upgraded from 2GB class 2) Otherwise I expect this card to perform admirably and I just ask that people be more careful in their online purchases.

The #1 in Micro SD Cards
July 30, 2017
When it comes to reliability for Micro SD cards, Sandisk is the undisputed best. There is no question about that. Having used Sandisk Micro SD cards for over 7 years, I can attest to their reliability. I've used their 8, 16, 32, 64, and 200gb Micro SD cards over the years, and not one has ever failed on me. Other Micro SD cards I have bought over the years like Samsung and Kingston all have given out on me over time. Sandisk though, are honestly the best you can get when it comes to Micro SD cards. When I saw this 256gb card go on sale on Prime Day, I snagged it without a second thought. Having had it for over a week now, I'll say that this is great as always, and with 256gb worth of storage, I'll never have to worry about running out of space again. If you're in the market for a Micro SD card for your phone, camera, or any other device, look no further. This is the answer to all your problems. Besides the delayed shipping on this item (probably caused by all the shipments they had to make on Prime Day), it's absolutely perfect.
Hesitant but worth it.
June 9, 2017
Would I must say I was a little hesitant about buying something from the warehouse with its description of its condition being very good. It was a day late and a big envelope with a smaller envelope inside containing the micro sd and adapter still in its plastic tray. When I put the card in my phone it said it was corrupt and had to format to fix it for use with my phone. Easy fix and plenty of space haven't had any issues with it. If your wanting it right away and don't care about saving a few bucks you can buy it from Walmart and spend about 5 bucks or more. If you don't care about waiting a few days and not having all that cardboard them definitely go this route.
fortunately no critical data was lost
May 11, 2017
Have had mixed experiences with other sandisk cards purchased off amazon, having one 32 gig class 10 microsd fail to read in both my phone and card readers after around 6 months, fortunately no critical data was lost. This one seems to be solid so far and if it continues to function I will be very pleased. UHS 1 seems to work well achieving nearly 80 mb/s read speeds with a usb 3.0 card reader. Seems to have no issues keeping up with the write rate of 4k videos on my action cam.

216 bytes) Tested fine with both Fake Flash Test v1
January 20, 2016
Total capacity formatted with exFAT on my Note 4 is 183GB (196,585,417,216 bytes)Tested fine with both Fake Flash Test v1.1.1 and h2testw 1.4 so not fake.Read and Write seemed fine. Writing music files to it was about 15MB per second and the h2testw verify was 75+MB/sec. Other card readers may do better. Now Samsung needs to put an micro SD card slot back into their Note phones or my next phone will be something else. It is pretty hard to go back to 64 or less gb when you are used to have 120+GB worth of storage.
128GB card tested at 88MB/s read, so it meets its claim
August 21, 2015
This card tested at 88MB/s read, so it meets its claim. The 4K speeds are fairly slow at 5MB/s and the sequential write is 15.8 MB/s which should suffice for most applications. This will work well for most people's needs.Tests done on a Kingston FCR-HS3 USB 3.0 reader using CrystalDiskMark 3.0.3 x64.Product ID on the package was SDSQUNC-128G-GN6MAUPC was 619659133795

Kingston is a good choice
March 12, 2017
I'm not sure if it was the card or my old card data, otherwise I'd drop a 5 star.I used this for my PSP 1000 and transferred my old card to this one. I suddenly noticed I had a huge amount of data gone (on the PSP) from something and couldn't figure out what it was as to I knew exactly what I put on the chip. I also found corrupted data in the PSP game selection screen. I searched and found a few files in the GBA folder with corrupted file names and could not delete them. I had to copy the chip to the computer, format the chip and put the data back on it (twice actually). After that, I've had no problems and it works very well. It's very fast and holds the data I needed it to hold.Thank you.I'll repost if and when it breaks (under light use).

Great little memory card
February 15, 2016
Great little memory card, but after using it for a little while in my camera, it started acting up. Amazon sent me a new one and that one has worked perfect. The brand is trusted, so I guess it was just a one time thing.
Fast transferring and great storage limit for a cell phone.
October 21, 2015
I purchased this to replace my 1 gb card in my cell phone. So far it is working wonderfully. As of right now I have 1348 photos and 9 videos on it. And I still have another 3 gb available for storage. I have had zero glitches. Everything transferred over quickly and smoothly. Highly recommend this. The package the product came in was hassle free it was perfect for my needs.
Ellipsis 8 Compatible
March 17, 2015
Was not sure whether this would fit into my Ellipsis 8 Micro SD slot but because the product has a Kingston name on it, I ordered it. Am glad I did. It's fits into the slot and Ellipsis 8 recognized it. On the External SD Card storage settings menu, I have now a total of 29.045 GB available space. This will last me for a long time.Highly recommend this Kingston Digital 32 GB Class 4 micro SDHC flash card for your Ellipsis 8 for more storage for your downloads and apps.
Extra capacity for GPS map update
September 23, 2013
I ordered this flash card to provide additional capacity for my GPS device so I could upgrade my maps. Allow me to digress for a moment... I purchased a lifetime map update for my GPS about 4 years ago. The first couple of updates went off without a hitch, but last year I got an error message informing me I could only update part of the map due to storage limitations. Same thing this year, but much more extreme - I was only going to be able to get a regional map, which was not acceptable. Rather than succumb to the pressure to buy a new device, I purchased this flash card and was able to successfully complete my update. Hopefully this will be sufficient for a few more years. I know more people are using their smartphones for GPS these days, but since I already have the device, and don't want to burn through my data plan, this is a good option.

October 17, 2017
Adapter doesn't seem to workSo far as I can tell, the card itself works fine. When I plug my dash cam into my work computer, I can scan through what I've recorded. Today I tried using the adapter that comes with it (Win 10, 64bit, laptop, with an integrated slot for that fits the adapter) and...nothing. It didn't even notice the card was inserted. The drive didn't pop up, no light flash, it didn't even make any noises. I tried moving the switch to different positions, disabling/enabling, deleting/reinstalling, updating the driver, none of that made a difference. Just for the sake of troubleshooting, I'll try it at work (Vista box), but I'm not sure what that will prove, one way or the other, I'd still like to be to use it at home with out having to bring my dashcam in from my car to use as a card reader.
Bought two, One doesn't work quite right...
October 12, 2017
I bought two of these: one for my Android phone, and one for my Kindle. The one in my Kindle has worked perfectly since day one.Pretty sure the other one has something wrong with it. While it is functional, it has *always* loaded extremely slowly in any device I've put it in (because at first I was worried it was my phone). For example, when I first boot my phone up after it dies, it will take almost 10 minutes before anything on this card becomes accessible. Minimum. Sometimes it could take twice that. This isn't usually super annoying, but it is occasionally infuriating. If I format it, and try to use it in my Kindle...same thing. So I think the card is perhaps a bit defective. So one card worked great, the other one is...problematic but functional. It wasn't worth the time to return it though, as I was headed out of town for an extended business trip and needed it right then.
Too Many Eggs in One Basket
September 25, 2017
This was a great addition to my Galaxy S7 Edge for taking on vacation. I took photos and videos for over two weeks, and never had to change out for a new card. After a few months, I kept thinking I was forgetful as I couldn't find photos that I had taken. The problem got worse, so I made sure to back up what I had left. I put the card back in my phone and all seemed well. However, every now and then, I noticed that my photos all went to the internal memory and not the SD card. Eventually my phone declared the card to be corrupted. Although it is nice to have such a big SD card, it is also a situation of too many eggs in one basket. I contacted SanDisk & sent them a phone snapshot of the corrupted message. They promptly sent me a return label. In a couple of weeks, they sent me a new card. But now, I'm hesitant to rely on such a big card.
Formatting Issue for MAC
September 7, 2017
I use a MAC computer and was trying to view a video from the card that I took on my new camera. When I put it in the MAC it could not read the card. It was formatted as FAT32 and I could view it on a pc but not my MAC. After searching around I discovered that 64GB and larger have some sort of different formatting that a MAC cant read. So I had to put it back in the pc and format it again to FAT32 and then my MAC could see it. The only problem is now the disk says it only has 1GB space. I then had to use the MAC to format it to EXFAT and now it is 64GB and everything works. Not sure why they do that but it is a pain.
Think This Was Used Prior to My Receiving It
July 17, 2017
When I went to use this micro card, there were 21 files already on it, most with MILLIONS of KBs already recorded on it, mostly just blank white or black nothingness, one music file on it, so I guess it was used prior....everyone that saw it was shocked.Works great but I'm wondering why they would send out one that had stuff already recorded on it.
sd card works but the pyle dashcam does not.
April 21, 2017
This item came with the purchase a dual dashcam PYLE USA, the sandisk works great, but the dashcam does not work properly and the one page translated instructions are worthless. It was professionally installed and the cameras sometimes turns on and I have to reset. There online PYLEUSA.COM is a copy of non-instructional instructions. Consumers be awear.

Paid my own shipping for RMA
August 27, 2017
Kingston honors their warranty but I had to pay my own shipping on RMA - and it is hard to justify paying shipping on cheaper older cards. Sandisk on the other hand paid for RMA shipping when I went through that process with both brands recently. Ultimately a good product so I won't ding too bad on stars but can't give 5 when Sandisk wins the warranty/RMA war. I recommend Sandisk SD cards instead.
and my SanDisk 32 GB microSD card works just fine in my phone
September 9, 2016
This memory card is temperamental. It did not work in my mom's phone, even though I reformatted it to a FAT 32 file per the recommendations of various people in cell phone forums (notably, it came already formatted as FAT 32, but wasn't recognized in her phone, hence why I tried reformatting). I have the exact same phone as my mom, and my SanDisk 32 GB microSD card works just fine in my phone, so I know it's not an issue with the phone. Luckily, I was able to use this in my Lenovo Ideapad 100S (it's like a cross between a chromebook and a Windows laptop. . . it runs Windows, but comes with hardly any on-board memory).
Good inexpensive memory but not for video recording.
August 20, 2016
I wanted to get a low cost memory card for my niece’s camera. All I was think about was price. Unfortunately, I did not consider speed. The memory performs very good for taking picture but when it came to using it for video there were significant delays. If you want a memory card for storage of information, then this card is fine. If you have a video device such as a Gopro then look for a higher performance card. There were no issues with memory corruption and write failures. The cost of memory cards has gotten so low I should have just spent the extra few dollars for a higher performance card. Please let me know if this review was helpful.
The USB-to-SD reader seems to work fine with ordinary SD memory cards
January 26, 2015
I have not been able to get the SD adapter to work. It is not critical to me as I mainly just wanted the microSDHC Flash card to use in a device that uses that type of flash card. However, I was influenced to buy this product because I was under the impression that the SD adapter would allow me to also read and write to the microSDHC card using a USB-to-SD card reader that I already have. But it just hangs up the computer software when I try to read the microSDHC card in the SD adapter using the USB-to-SD reader. I have to yank the card reader out of the computer to un-hang the software, which then just crashes. The USB-to-SD reader seems to work fine with ordinary SD memory cards, but not with this SD adapter. I thought I just got a bad one and arranged for Amazon to replace it, but the new replacement behaves the same way. So, I have resolved that, if the microSDHC card continues to work as it should, I will be okay with this purchase as it really wasn't significantly more expensive than just buying a microSDHC flash card.
This one failed on me.
November 21, 2013
I used this card in a mobile phone for picture storage. This card seemed to work good for awhile then it needed to be re-formatted a few times and I kept losing pictures that I couldn't access to download them. I was continually getting an corruption error on my phone for the card. Finally today it completely stopped working. I've never had this happen with any flash card. My phone had a notification there was no SD card installed and to insert an SD card. I removed and re-inserted the card several times without any recognition from the phone. I took it out of the phone and also tried accessing the card on my desktop several times without recognition either. So it cannot be found and more pictures are lost. I'm sure this card just encountered a rare problem just like any good product, most of them work, but sometimes a couple don't.
Really?!
July 10, 2013
First, the order took forever to go through. Second, they said it was delivered, closed out my order on Amazon and everything, when it hadn't been. I was disappointed to say the least and decided to give it one more day before losing my cool and calling customer service or writing an e-mail to raise unholy hell on these people. It was delivered the next day. So don't panic if this happens to you. Lastly, the biggest pet peeve of mine of this order is that they shipped this TINY little MICRO USB card...in a regular small manila envelope. No packaging, no cushioning, no box, just a flat envelope. So not cool. If it had been stepped on or smashed under another much heavier box, the card would have been destroyed. Those are my reasons for giving them only three stars. Otherwise, I have no complaints. The drive works great, does what I need it to do and is exactly what they said it would be. I'm content with this purchase but probably won't buy from them again. :\

It's good enough for storage
July 12, 2017
Has some performance issues and seems to stutter a bit on video playback. I did not encounter this with my other micro SD cards which are also class 10. It's good enough for storage, but if you're looking for sustained performance (i.e. continuous recording of hd video), you might run into some intermittent issues. Originally bought this for a dashcam, but because of performance issues, ended up just as extended storage for my phone. It did cause the phone to reboot a few times. Verified this by replacing with a known good sdcard and no reboots. After scanning and repairing on this card, the reboots aren't seen often, but once in a blue moon, the system stalls and reboots still.
Dead On Arrival
June 9, 2017
It either works, or it doesn't work. I've bought these in the past for everything from cell phones, to tablets, to digital cameras.Being a person who is not really a "techie", I can't comment on things like speed. This time, I opened the package and it did not work.Speaking of package.....this package is terrible. You could injure yourself trying to cut it open.
66% fail rate (over 3 purchases)
June 5, 2017
Purchased 3 over the course of 2016, two of them were DOA. Sandisk was outright hostile about replacing them... I should have contacted Amazon, their customer service is usually outstanding, but I've also heard they'll cancel your accounts after a certain number of returns, so I just had my office replace them for me ;) Can't recommend with a 66% failure rate in my purchase hx.
I'm not exactly sure whats wrong, but file transfers ...
May 25, 2017
I'm not exactly sure whats wrong, but file transfers to this card start slowing down, or just flat out fail as they go on for long periods of time. This isn't because the card is filled up, this happens when I am just trying to put 4GB of music files onto an empty 64GB card! It will start the transfer at a solid speeds, but after a minute will slow down to 4mb/s.At first I thought this was just my phone, but now that Ive tried it in multiple Micro SD adapters, and USB card readers I have to blame the card.
Works great, but very fragile...
May 9, 2017
The memory card works as good as any other without issue, but be very careful on handling it, the reader I had the micro SD card in was a bit too snug, and I had to put additional pressure on it using my fingernail to try to pull the card out and the card snapped in half. Thankfully i didn't lose any important data on it, but just for FYI... be very careful on how you handle this one. Personally I'd advise using the Samsung micro SD cards... they work just as fast and great, with noticeably better build quality.

March 21, 2016
i bought this for my Samsung Note in September 2015. it worked very well until March 4 2016 when it became unreadable in the middle of the day. All data appears to be lost ( went two months without backup oops). Both phone and computer say blank sd card. phone says cannot mount, Computer cannot recognize it or force format. Not sure if it is from a new update or what but it is completely unrecognizable on devices.I thought it should last more than 5 months.

May 31, 2017
Really annoying to use the whole time I had it in my phone. For 6 months or so it would constantly unmount itself, sometimes once a week or so and then multiple times a day. It wasn't a phone issue, because other cards worked fine. I can't 100% remember whether it completely stopped working or just got too annoying to use, but I think it broke.

December 7, 2016
I got it and first thing I did was to stick it in my computer to format it and it wouldn't format. Tried all versions of format available in Window 10 both in FAT and NTFS neither would format, tried in the camera that it was going to be used in and it still wouldn't format and again tried to format in the PC it was close to 24 times before I gave up, Oh yeah I checked to lock switch just in case you thought I didn't think of that....... So filled out a return request telling them that it wouldn't format and the email comes to me you know you have to format it to have it work, don't they read why I was sending it back????? I'll look for a different card to buy.
Too slow for a smartphone.
July 1, 2016
I ordered this from Amazon LLC, so it is NOT a counterfeit. It is however too slow for use in a smartphone. When I first installed it on my phone, I got the message that it was too slow. If you load apps onto the SD as I did, they will take FOREVER to load. Skype and Facebook for example: my phone (Android) kept asking me if I wanted to continue to wait! So, I did some investigation and found that this is a "class 4" SD card. You need a class 10, which is much faster. A class 4 transfers data at minimum of 4mb/sec. A class 10 works at a minimum of 10mb/sec. If you get a premium MicroSD like Sandisk or Transcend, they will transfer at 95mb/sec! So lesson learned. I now use the Kingston just as a backup SD on my laptop, and I ordered a class 10 Transcend.
Experiencing errors using 8GB cards on raspberry pi
April 15, 2016
UPDATE:The batch of cards I received on January, 2016 have been experiencing issues. One card failed after 4 and a half months and was replaced. The next card failed in about two weeks. I replaced it with a fresh unused card, and it failed in three days.[237493.729272] mmc0: Timeout waiting for hardware interrupt.[237493.729502] mmcblk0: error -110 transferring data, sector 122880, nr 8, cmd response 0x900, card status 0xc00[237493.729664] blk_update_request: I/O error, dev mmcblk0, sector 122880[237493.729687] Buffer I/O error on dev mmcblk0p2, logical block 0, lost sync page writePreviously I had been using these cards without issue, and I don't think anything in my configuration has changed. Space utilization of the last card was about 47% when it failed after 3 days of use. I verified that there was not much data being written to the card, just a few log files when cron jobs and such ran. Nevertheless, I've taken the step of adding the following lines to /etc/fstab, to mount directories that are commonly written to by the linux OS as tmpfs. This was a suggestion I found on zdnet:# add to /etc/fstabtmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults,noatime,nosuid,size=100m 0 0tmpfs /var/tmp tmpfs defaults,noatime,nosuid,size=30m 0 0tmpfs /var/log tmpfs defaults,noatime,nosuid,mode=0755,size=100m 0 0tmpfs /var/run tmpfs defaults,noatime,nosuid,mode=0755,size=2m 0 0This has eliminated the periodic writes due to log files and such. I will update this review if I see continued issues with these cards.original review:I am using these micro-SD cards for raspberry pi projects. The cards have been working fine. Each card comes with a micro-SD to SD adapter, which I really don't need anymore as I seem to have accumulated a pile of them from previous card purchases. I've had absolutely no problem with these cards. 8 GB is more than enough space for the typical raspberry pi. I've had the cards long enough to have them in constant operation in several pi projects for several months and there have been no errors
Memory is not as advertised
March 29, 2016
I purchased two of these for my two smart phones with the primary intent of using it for pictures and videos. Upon mounting tge card, I went right to the settings if my phone to see how many gigs were available and to my dismay, it reflected 27.5 gigs available. That means that 4.5 gigs of memory is taken by the formatted data in the drive. I thought when I bought it I would get 32 gigs available not 27.5. Luckily I got it for really cheap otherwise H probably would have returned it. When a company advertises 32 gigs of memory, the customer purchasing thibks they are getting that. There needs to be a disclaimer stating you are paying fir 32 gigs but will only get 27.5 to actually use. That seems to me to ve false advertisement. I believe Apple is being taken to court by a group of people for that very issue.
Didn't work
October 11, 2014
Mine didn't work. Been a while since I bought it so I didn't realize right away. I bought it use in a phone, but it wouldn't read it. I put it in the adapter and tried on the computer. Wouldn't read there either.I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I didn't bother to contact the seller since it's been so long and who knows, they may have replaced it. I bought a different one at a local store because I needed it quickly at that point.

Don't waste your time or money
July 6, 2017
The SanDisk 128GB micro card arrived today. I inserted into the slot above where the SIM card goes. I get a message saying card is corrupted! I will return this immediately! I've installed SD micro cards on other phones in the past without any issues. Don't waste your time or money. A huge disappointment!! This product doesn't even deserve a one star rating!!!
DO NOT USE WITH GOPRO
April 12, 2017
DO NOT USE WITH GOPRO. bought it for my session 5. turns out this is the old version and the write speed is like 15 mbps this cannot keep up the gopro and will cause it to overheat. it also causes random pauses in the video. i've heard it can cause the gopro to crash when it overheats but i haven't expierienced that yet. instead buy the sandisk extreme or other recommended micro sd card on gopro's website. buy once cry once.
Horrible speed that hinders usability.

I just can't recommend this to anyone. Yes it's cheap and I guess you get what you paid for? I don't know, however, I did NOT expect it to be this slow. I only use it on my phone so I didn't really think the speed would be an issue. I was wrong. Save photos and videos on it is a pain in the ass, it takes a good 5 seconds after every picture before I can take another one. Just today I was deleting a fairly large file(2.2 gig) from it and it literally took 10 minutes just to delete it...it even said so on the prompt. You also CANNOT format this thing as internal storage because an error will come up saying it's way too slow and does not meet the speed requirements. So yeah, I can't recommend this to anyone...even for people who don't care about speed and just plan to use this on their phones because the slow read/write speeds will actually affect you.
Melted in my laptop, shorted out my GoPro.
September 1, 2016
My GoPro said "SD ERROR" and kept shutting down, so took the card out of my GoPro, and put it into SanDisk's adapter, and inserted it into my laptop to try to format it.Suddenly curls of smoke rose from my laptop's SD card port and I smelled burning plastic, so I pulled the card out, and found this. It was super hot, and there's a possibility it might have caught fire if I'd left it in the laptop for longer. The other three work fine in both the GoPro and the Laptop: they haven't melted yet, but now I'm concerned.I've attached a picture of the melted card, because "pics or it didn't happen". Well, it happened, and there's the result.
Most Sandisk productshave been good for me
August 1, 2016
Are these knock-offs or seconds or something... I ordered 3 32Gig cards. Most Sandisk productshave been good for me, one other problem in the past. Open the first one and my DJI Phantom 3 said it needed formatted so I tried to let it format, failed. Tried formatting on a Win10 PC, failed, tried on my Macbook Pro, failed. I was afraid to even open the other two so I did a refund. Was given a return label but I HAD TO PAY to return, not that big of a deal but still that much more that I'm out for returning a bad product. Then today I get them back where they had been REFUSED?!?!?! What??? I got online and did see the refund went through but why make me pay to return only for them to refuse them? Just out of curiosity I opened the other two and sure enough they would not format either. I believe these are knock-offs or something like that. They look legit but I'm not sure... After I tried to return them I ordered another brand and they worked fine.
While it worked, it was fine. Died way too quickly.

DO NOT BUY !!
December 8, 2015
Not only did this SD card fail to meet the standard operating procedures of any other SD card I've ever owner, but it also came fully equipped with spyware/malware and/or a virus. The only thing that changed in aspect to my cellphone was the insertion of this memory card. Less than one day upon using, my Android Galaxy informed me that my phone was being attacked and my information may have been accessed by a third party without my consent. I immediately had to factory reset my phone, change all my passwords, lose my files/pictures/videos/etc. that were previously saved to my device, etc. VERY FRUSTRATING AND UNNECESSARY!DO NOT BUY !!
Beware lifetime warranty.

The device worked reliably for 16 months. However a couple of weeks ago it stopped working. When I did the RMA, Kingston would only do so after I returned the card to them first.I went through the RMA procedure on the phone with them, but it wasn't made clear to me that I had to return their defective unit first.I know that Kingston is a reputable company, but in previous dealings with Kingston where I was expected to return something, I never got the replacement once I sent the item back (granted, this was many years ago and it involved a Kingston NIC)I think Kingston should collect a customer's CC# and send them a replacement card and then have the customer send back the defective unit and re-use the packaging that Kingston sent in.At a current cost of $16.00 I'd need to purchase a special envelope @$4.00 and send it to Kingston @ a cost of roughly $2.00. For an additional $10.00 I can purchase another 32GB card.Virtually every other company of this type will offer to replace the device and place a CC# hold to cover the cost of the device. or AT LEAST send the customer an appropriate pre-paid package to avoid this in the future. I'm now going to purchase a 32GB Sandisk MicroSD.
Not sure if I got a defective SD card or ...
August 11, 2014
Not sure if I got a defective SD card or not but after I take pictures I try to display them on the phone, sometimes the app locks up. Found out it is the SD card cuz I placed the SD card in my PC and I have a hard time reading the files. It took me over 8 hours to move the pictures to my desktop. I had several lockups of Windows explorer. After I retrieved most of the files I reformatted the SD card and will try it again in my phone. I was able to move the pix from PC to card without issue after the format. Maybe I fill up the card using the PC to ensure the card is ok before I trust it to store my phone pictures. I've used Kingston memory chips in the past without issue but this one is flaky.
Quality is what I always find in this bran, except for this time

Great product. As it is Kingston, I've always trusted in them. A lot of reading writing allowed, more than the rest of Flash memory card. I've had Kingston card for long, and they've have always worked like charm.Update for this item: I've always purchased Kingston microSD cars for most of my applications and need. But, this is the first time I got a defective one. The one I received is not recognized by the system most of the times. Every time I insert it it asks me for formatting the device, otherwise, I'm not able to access it. So, there is no way I can copy my stuff from one microSD card to the new one in order to upgrade my cell phone storage capacity. So, product defective, unable to use it, but not only that, I needed it for today or tomorrow. BTW, I'm stucked with a useless microSD card, can't use it, can't transfer my files, can't upgrade my cell phone, can't install the needed apps on my cell I was required to by Monday.
Poor manufacturing, deficient in tolerances.

I bought the card with the hope to use it as a dual use type of device. Where, I will run the RaspberryPi and if needed will transport it on my android device. In terms of storage and compatibility, the card performed as expected. It booted Raspbian and I could also take pictures with my phone. GREAT. However, after exactly 6 times, where the micro SD was removed to be placed on the phone and back into the adapter for the Pi. The card was not being read at all, and I made sure not to jam the micro card or place it incorrectly. Therein, I eliminate any operation error. After careful inspection I found out that the SDadapter had slightly shifted open. Which is caused by the use CHEAP plastic and bad tolerances. With this shift, the adapter pins could not make proper contact with the microSD card and therefore it didn't worked. Now, I am using a competitor brand adapter and the microSD card still works well. Although I live in constant fear of a sudden malfunction and loose of all my data, specially the one originated from the RaspberryPi.Will update in regards of the performance of the microSD card.
It sucks!!!

I bought two of these, one for my wife's phone and another one for my own phone, my wife have a Xperia x10 mini pro and I have a Nexus One, after 3 weeks or so, my wife's card was having issues, the phone did not recognize it, I had to reformated it several times, but It didn't work, I was thinking the issue was related to the phone and I changed it for a 4 GB MicroSD and that resolved the issue, I throw it away because I think it was damaged by the phone, but 2 days ago I had an issue with my card, I was scared because I have thousands of photos of my family and I was thinking that I will lose them, fortunately I was able to made a backup of my files, but after reformating the card it's not working well, my phone get freeze and I'm not able to use all the apps that I have installed in the card, it sucks!!!!!
