works for my camera

good card. use it for my camera. enough storage to last a while should I not be able to download pictures right away. would buy product againf or the price. found the best price for the product before purchase.
Great value

I remember paying over $600 for a 1GB internal hard drive, so paying less than $5 for a 16GB memory device smaller than my big toenail is amazing! I don't store videos normally, so this device should be fine for me for a long time.
Wonderfully Reliable.

I have been using Sandisk MicroSDHC cards for years and needed one with extra capacity. This is working out well for me and I expect it to last as long as my earlier Sandisk MicroSDHC cards; none of which has given me any issues and I have been using some for years.
Everything loaded beautifully! I'm happy

Went on a long goose chase in local stores...Radio Shack and others thinking I could buy what I needed quickly. Radio Shack is replacing San Disk with a in-house brand that I just didn't trust, so came back to Amazon - my trusty source - to do a search. Well, found the Sandisk micro SD card I needed, bought it, and got it in time before I was due to travel out of town. Oh! Bought this micro SD card for my Garmin GPS device for the update. Everything loaded beautifully! I'm happy!
The price is great, and so is the card

This little guy is just what I needed to get more space on my cell phone! The price is great, and so is the card! I take a lot of pictures, and had to delete a gig of them to make more room on my phone recently. My husband suggested buying this, and I'm definitely glad he did! I now have plenty of space on my phone for all of my apps, and plenty of pictures!
Lots of storage!

Great amount of space in this tiny card, I originally purchased this for my Polaroid Cube and it fit perfectly and held alot of footage thus far. The price is great for this memory card!

Perfect for GoPro's 4K and other devices
June 10, 2017
This item is recommended by GoPro for use with Hero, Hero3+, Hero4, & HERO+ LCD (it will also work for GoPro 4). It can store burst mode, Full HD and 4K Ultra HD video, and up to 90MB/s transfer speed. The amount of capacity you need depends on the types of files you have, how big they are, and how many there are. This 64GB will hold roughly 160 minutes of 4K video. 4K Ultra HD (3840x2160) and Full HD (1920x1080) support may vary based upon the device you're using. So basically, if you have a GoPro,camera or phone that requires an SD card, then this is the product you need!

My answers to the frequently asked questions below:

Will it work with go pro hero 4 session?

Absolutely. The 90MB/s can easily transfer the data to your laptop/desktop.

Will this one work with new 3ds, like the older one sdsdqxn-032g-g46a does? thanks!

Yes! It works with most cameras that need a microSD.

Will it work with the LG smartphone!

Yes, also works for smartphones as well.

Overall the price on Amazon is a lot better than in any physical store (you can also have them price match it). It's a versatile and a great top tier product. You definitely pay for what you get!

BUYER BEWARE OF AMAZON SELLERS WITH FAKE MEMORY CARDS! ONLY BUY DIRECT FROM AMAZON!
October 12, 2016
BUYERS BEWARE! These memory cards are awesome, but there are a lot of fakes being sold on Amazon! Only buy these cards direct from Amazon! (Ships from and sold by Amazon) There are a number of sellers who are selling fake Chinese knockoffs of these cards! I purchased one from Youngseller which was fulfilled by Amazon, and upon receiving it I could automatically tell that it was a fake. DO NOT BUY FROM YOUNGSELLER.

The backside of the packaging where the product details reside looked very pixellated, almost like a bad photoshop job. Also on the backside of the packaging near the bottom right corner you see a logo that states "Includes RescuePRO Deluxe" and beneath that "See inside for details". When you open the package for a real SanDisk product, there should be stickers affixed to the inside of the package with a serial number for the software. The fake memory cards do not have anything on the inside of the packaging.

The front of the package looked convincing except for one thing...it says "microsDXC UHS-I Card" but the "s" is supposed to be capitalized as well if it's a real SanDisk product. It should read "microSDXC UHS-I Card".

Now on to the memory card itself. The fake ones look like they are very poorly printed, the text is slightly fuzzy looking, and the colors are a bit "off". The font is also a little smaller as well. The back of my fake memory card had an oval gold reflective sticker that had "SD 2016" on it. Real SanDisk memory cards don't have those cheap stickers on them. I have a photo that I posted with this review that shows the difference between a real card and a fake one. The real one I purchased from Best Buy (on the right), and it's a smaller size (32GB) but will give you a general idea. A real 64GB card will look exactly like the 32GB card with exception of the size number being different. Notice the colors are completely off and the text is much fuzzier on the fake one (left side).

Now here's the kicker; when you insert a fake SanDisk card into your computer it will show that the size is actually what's advertised. In reality, the memory card capacity is only a fraction of what it states, and they are able to hack the memory card so that it shows a false capacity on your computer. Upon using it, you notice that the fake card is much much slower and once you hit it's true capacity limit the card will become corrupted and you will lose all of your data. It's not worth the hassle so trust me on this.

To confirm that my card was fake once and for all, I used a PC program called H2testw which can be downloaded free online, just google it. This program is the industry standard application used to test for true capacity of an sd card. It does a full read and write test to ensure that the advertised capacity is truly what it can hold. Upon running H2testw to check my memory card, I discovered that my "64GB" memory card only had a true capacity of 7GB!! The speed was around 15 MB/s, the REAL SanDisk Extreme cards have a speed of up to 90 MB/s! For you computer nerds out there, I've pasted the logs below for analysis.

Do yourselves a favor and only buy memory cards that are shipped and sold directly by Amazon. I don't think I will ever trust buying any product from an "Amazon seller" again due to this experience. Amazon's customer service on the other hand was amazing and they rectified the situation immediately. And remember, DO NOT BUY FROM YOUNGSELLER!

Must have for GoPro
July 8, 2016
More expensive than some but finally a card that doesn't cause a gopro to glitch as mine would stop after eight minutes. night and day compared to the "ultra" This cost a little more but when you take video, whether by cell camera or GoPro this is the way to go.
With other cards you get seemingly unrelated issues, that, being a normal human you would blame on your device.

This has an actual listed read and write speed, guaranteed to write at a certain speed. The other cards are difficult for me to trust anymore. Many modern U3 cards are all possibly good with modern devices but gone are the days when an SD card was an SD card. Sometimes you get what you pay for, it is very true when it comes to these type of cards.
Used to upgrade 3DS XL
May 18, 2016
Used on my 3DS XL. I wanted to upgrade but use a microSDHC for when i finally upgrade to the *new* 3DS XL. It actually made loading times faster! I'm talking about the loading times for booting up the system, for starting a game, for loading up internet connections to eshop, etc. This was a great upgrade.
✔ ✔ ✔ Stores / Captures GoPro Shots 35% Faster and Transfers to Laptop 20% Faster, Compared to the Older Version..!!

✔ ✔ ✔ UHS-I SPEED CLASS 3 SUPPORTED
(Translation : Awesome for 4K Video Recording..!!)

This memory card complies with the latest UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) standards, which means that it guarantees excellent performance while recording videos into this card by ensuring minimum writing speeds for smooth recording of high-res 4K video content in your camcorders like GoPro.

To be more specific for the people who care about things of this sort - this card is UHS-I/U3, which means it belongs to SPEED CLASS 3 of the UHS-I standards. There is also a UHS-II standard, which supports faster bus speeds when used with UHS-II supported host devices. Basically, UHS-I and UHS-II differ in the bus interface or the pin layout of the card. UHS-I/UHS-II cards in-turn come in two different speed class ratings - U1 (Speed Class 1) and U3 (Speed Class 3).

This specific Sandisk micro-sd card supports Speed Class3 of the UHS-I Bus Mode. That’s basically what it means when they say UHS-I/U3.

➽ BENCHMARK TESTS

The image uploaded shows the comparison benchmark between the older Sandisk Extreme 32 GB (ASIN: B00M55BS8G), and the newer Sandisk Extreme 64 GB (the product being reviewed).

✔ ✔ ✔ TEST OUTCOME : The newer version does approximately 20% faster reads and 35% faster writes sequentially, compared to the older one

✔ ✔ ✔ In real life, this translates to the fact that shooting videos and photos directly into this micro sd card (sequential writes) in your camera, like in a GoPro, would be 35% faster than the older one. Additionally, transferring these photo / movie files into your computer (sequential reads) would now be 20% faster than the previous version of Sandisk extreme.

➽ TEST ENVIRONMENT

As you can see, the tests have been done using the latest CrystalDiskMark v5.0.2 64bit software. These tests consist of three passes, each of which in-turn comprises of 9 test runs - all of this just to make sure that the benchmark results are not just a “one-off” thing.

All tests were ran on a Quad-Core / 16 GB RAM Windows 7 HP laptop with no background programs running, using the respective OEM SD Card readers from Sandisk.

➽ EXPLANATION OF TEST TYPES

got it on time e cven though the postal service delivered it to the wrong house. Popped it into my tablet works perfectly. The price is unbeatable and if I ever need more I will definitely order the same kind.. you have to remember you're only getting the micro sd chip you don't get the larger Computer reader card. But I have 5 or 6 of them so I really don't need it. If I need more SD cards this will be my first choice. Great price, good card. Highly recommended.
Not Bad

Cam in the mail super early. One thing about the chip is that it only has about 14.48GB of storage space. But for the price that's fine.

Card Crashed at 11 Months, SanDisk Replaced; Fast Write Speeds
September 10, 2017
I had this card for about 11 months when it just stopped. Apparently corrupted. First time I have ever had a card go bad.

Luckily, SanDisk's warranty service was very easy to use and went off without a hitch. They provided a return label too. The new card took a little while to arrive, but it did with no issue.

Never did reach 90MBs in read speed. Usually 64-65MBs. Write speeds, though, average around 50-51MBs.
it returned to work fine. Suddenly one day it shows as corrupted.
April 4, 2017
Used it for my Moto X Pure as adoptable storage. It lasted for about 6 months during which sometimes it'll not recognized it, but by just taking it out and reinserting, it returned to work fine. Suddenly one day it shows as corrupted. I try to format it using my laptop through Windows with several partition manager softwares, but with no luck. Always give an error stating that it cannot be formated. Did a surface test looking for errors and it came out with a zone apparently damaged, so I guess this is it for the microsd.

Update: I found out that it has Lifetime warranty, so I filed a request for replacement via online and there customer support was very attentive through all the process. After exchanging a few emails with details of the corrupted micro sd, I sent it back to their office in Hong Kong and soon received the replacement. I'm taking that as a sign of confidence on their products. So I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that the original one was just an exceptional defective item. Hopefully the replacement will last enough to keep me from changing my opinion.
Good price, legit product
December 18, 2016
At first, the read/write times seemed a little slow to me and I was concerned I may have a fake on my hands. (Was it possible a seller on Amazon could pose as SanDisk and sell fake SD cards?)I downloaded a couple testing apps (A1 SD Bench and SD insight) and the results were about 15/20Mb/sec slower than the max written on the package. However, everything else seemed to be checking out - space available, card recognized as SanDisk. I went a step further and purchased a SanDisk ultra plus 32GB (the tier below the "extreme") from walmart. Ran it through the same tests on the same phone (Samsung Galaxy On5), and the results were the the same difference (15/20Mb/sec slower than the printed "up to" speed - though obviously slower than the extreme). I'll just chock it up to marketing and my mid-range phone. I'm satisfied they're legitimately SanDisk 32g extreme.
Need for Speed -- A comprehensive review of the fastest microsd cards
November 29, 2015
I had the opportunity to compare the performance of the fastest microsd cards currently available from top manufacturers. All cards mentioned in this review are obtained from Amazon during the last week or two except when noted otherwise.

Test Setup:
Lexar Professional workflow UR1 microsd card reader was used for all tests except when noted
CrystalDiskMark 5.0.2 x64 was used to produce all the test results and was set up with 2 passes and 100MB read/write size
All cards up to 32GB are formatted as FAT32 with 32KB allocation unit size, all 64GB cards are formatted exFAT with 128KB allocation unit size

Best overall:
Samsung Pro+ and Sandisk Extreme Pro

Other observations:
Performance and price are not proportional when it comes to selecting a microSD card. Some of the worst performing cards in this review also happen to be the most expensive.
Not all 633x cards are created equal. The two cards reviewed from Lexar and Transcend are both marked as 633x but vary in performance greatly.
4k video recording using action cams and drone cameras have a typical bitrate of 60mbps or 100mbps, corresponding to 7.5MB/s to 12.5MB/s. All cards in this review should theoretically be able to handle this usage easily.
Using microsd card as supplemental phone storage potentially could benefit from a faster card,

Best Looking Card (if it matters):
Sandisk Extreme Pro: Red/Gold with white print
Lexar 1000x: White/Gold with Black/White print
Samsung Pro+: White/Black with a red stripe and Black/White print
PNY Turbo: Lime Green/Black with Black/White print

82 MB/s sequential read, 48 MB/s sequential write
October 24, 2015
Would have liked to see a little bit faster sequential read speeds, as it didn't make it past 82 MB/s. Sequential write I am satisfied with, as it got 48 MB/s, which is three times faster than my SanDisk Ultra. Assuming this will have longevity, this is a good product. See my uploaded photos from Crystalmark, I ran all benchmarks for 100 MB and 500 MB file sizes.

I am using this on a Galaxy S4 with jetAudio Plus for my music collection. The thumbnails and play speeds load noticeably faster than on a Sandisk Ultra.

Micro SD card, large problems
March 19, 2017
The SD card itself is perfectly fine, my issue is I got it under two day shipping. It took five days to actually get here. I also didn't get updated about if and when it shipped, I actually didn't get anything saying it was shipping until after it was two days. The SD card works perfectly fine for a 16GB (14.8GB is how much room you actually have). I'll be sure to buy anymore Micro SD cards I need from a store near by next time instead of ordering them since I won't have to wait as long.

You get what you pay for ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
December 5, 2015
I bought this card in October from Ebuying for about $6, which is kind of a steal for a 16GB card so I'm not totally surprised I'm having issues, it's probably not truly 16GB.I wanted to use it for music but it doesn't transfer over a lot of songs' data (artist, album, photo, etc) or allow them to play on my phone even though when I plug it in my laptop it says the files are there. A few songs have also had their titles and info switched with the audio, and some have been cut off or start in the middle. I know it's not me or my laptop or phone as I am upgrading this from a Transcend 4GB, which worked fine with everything else. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because I do have over 900 songs, and only about 50 or so are affected, so although it's annoying, that's not a large percentage, and it does keep my game files stored fine so idk what the problem with the music files is.
Working fine, not 16gb 14gb
March 12, 2015
Came in a nice package, prompt timing delivery. Popped into phone already don't see any issues so far. Doesn't read as 16gd says 14.83gb my only drawback. I'm not sure if that's how sd cards work, in terms of reduced gigabytes.

Won't work with my GoPro Hero Session
September 7, 2016
I bough this product to accompany another product I bought at the same time, a GoPro Hero Session. It was listed below as "frequently bought with this item." The memory card won't work with my GoPro. I receive two different messages when turning on, "No SD Card" and "BUSY." I know it's inserted correctly, I've tried rebooting, and I looked all over GoPro's website for new tech support ideas. Please help if you can! Thanks

This works in the knock off gopro/ action camera I rate this 3 stars due to the fact it holds a lot of photos and hours of video and the quality of them are good the seller says it works in gopros Had to order a 2nd mini sd card hopefully that one will work in my gopro
Somehow not performing as well as I was expecting on Surface 3 (very poor random write speed)
June 13, 2016
I purchased this 64 GB card to double the storage space of a 64 GB Surface 3.
I was expecting to get 90 MB/s sequential read and 40 MB/s sequential write but I only get about half that. That is not a major issue as those numbers are still within the same order of magnitude as the internal storage (see attached pictures showing the numbers for the internal storage "C:" and then the card "D:") but disappointing nonetheless.
Also the random write performance at less than 1 MB/s is less than 10 times the one from the internal storage.
Practically that means that installing large store apps on the card takes a very long time. Running store apps from the card is however acceptable.

I recently bought 2 of those 64 micro SD for my action camera, the problem is one is not working properly, it can't take video at 2.7k or 4K becuase is very very slow, when I try to format the bad micro SD take like 12 seconds and a good one takes only 2 seconds, that means only 1 micro sd is useful

I purchased this based on the reviews. I have a GoPro Hero 4 Black and this is the first and only card that I have used with it. First off The camera would stop recording do to Disk errors so I re-formatted and it seemed to fix it for a bit but I do get disk errors 1 out of every 4 videos and it is annoying. Playback is horrible at 1080P 30FPS. All kinds of artifacts and errors with the video. I have tried several settings and so far I have had video issues with all settings. 4K video gives me a disk error after a minute. Maybe I got a bad card, not sure. I feel like I wasted my $ on this unit. I will be trying a different brand. Not sure if these are B stock or not but the part # does not match the recommended. I cannot recommend this item. This is one of the downfalls of purchasing online. You get stuck with stuff that does not work.
28.78gb Not 32gb...
March 19, 2016
Bought this card to replace a 32gb ultra card because I thought this one was an upgrade, not the case. First the ultra was 29.7gb compered to 28.78gb on this one. Why is so much storage lost or used before I write anything to the card??? Also it is slightly faster than the ultra but not by much. No where near the 40 mb/s it advertises. The max I saw was 30 mb/s which is just 3 mb/s more than I was getting on my ultra card.

JUNK
February 28, 2017
The chip arrived today. I put it in my phone and started loading music. After about 10 minutes the download stopped. The drive letter disappeared and when I tried to format it, Windows would not even recognize it. To make matters worse Amazon will not accept a return even though the device only lasted 10 minutes. I would give the vendor AND Amazon ZERO STARS on this one if I could.

DOES NOT WORK!!!!
September 16, 2015
It did not work for my samsung galaxy s5, besides the fact that it took over a week to receive. That is ok, I know items are late, but that it stated that it would work for sure on my Samsung Galaxy S5, it's just useless for my phone.
I've never had good luck with memory cards coming in plastic bag

I was assuming I was buying a retail San disk memory card but it came in a plastic bag. I've never had good luck with memory cards coming in plastic bag.
No Space?

I bought two of these to put music on my phone. When I got them, I plugged them in to an SD adapter and plugged them into my computer. When I went to put music on them, I was shocked to see how little was able to be stored on it. I decided to check the specs of the card, and there was less than a gig of room. We're talking around 15 kb. When I contacted the seller, they told me to send them back. To me, it was not worth the gas or postage. I will not be buying from here again, and I don't recommend that you do either.

Since I placed an order with several different items I can't seem to find out how to exchange this product for another one. The product itself as a brand is great, however this one is flawed and will not save images or video. It is brand new and was formatted once. I have 3 for my GoPro and highly recommend them. The only reason for the 1 star is to get in touch with seller (Amazon.com LLC) and find out what my options are. Sandisk has a great reputation for taking care of faulty products. I hope they can take care of mine. I will gladly change rating with a response. Thank you
Failed after less than one year of light use in my phone that is only used occasionally
February 7, 2017
Lasted less than a year of light use in my phone (phone does not have a sim card and is used only I'm my car for recording on track sessions, so less than a dozen weekends), and how I found out it had gone bad was I lost 2 sessions of on track video including my fastest laps. I use Kingston in my other cameras (Mobius and their 808 Keychain camera) so luckily I had some other footage. I think I will try a Kingston in my phone. I probably just got a bad one, but $32 down the tubes... not happy... Going to attempt a warranty claim...

Possible Knockoff chip, got corrupted after the first use.
April 27, 2016
Don't know why, but after 3 months after I bought it, I used it for the first time and the chip became corrupt. I cannot access it, I cannot retrieve any files nor I can even use it anymore. Possibly a knockoff, beware, check immediately and use it before time expires on Amazon to return or replace it.
very disappointed, beware

Had it as an extra card for my GoPro hero 3+ edition. go to put this new card in GoPro and get SD CARD ERROR. Put this card in a different GoPro, same result. I am now out of the 30 day return for this and I have a card that will not work in any of my cameras! very disappointed, beware. This SD card was one that was recommended for this Go Pro. Purchased Samsung 64 EVO micro SD XC and it works fine in the cameras...
Worked For A Day.
March 24, 2016
I usually don't ever have issues with Amazon; however, I bought this as a gift after researching that it does, indeed, work with the device. At first, it worked well, but then after about a day, it would no longer be read by the machine. I went to try to return it and contact Amazon Customer Service, but the return procedures state that since it's after January of 2016, it is no longer eligible for a return/refund...I didn't buy it until February, so what gives? I would be willing to reconsider my rating if someone would be able to at least assist with my claim. Thank you.
