Five Star Reviews: | 70% I LOVE these things! September 2, 2017 I had another set from another company. They eventually cracked and began losing teeth. But I had them for a long time. When I saw these, I was thrilled! I like that they are bright yellow - easy to find in a dark shed. I'm certain I will get a lot of use out this set! The concept of these leaf scoops/hands is fabulous. I can pick up almost an entire pile of raked up leaves / pine straw/ small twigs, etc. in one grab. I LOVE these things! Makes picking up yard trash a snap !! Great lawn tool April 14, 2017 Works very well, especially when you have a pile of leaves to pick up. The scoops hold a lot and can save time by reducing the number of times one has to bend over to pick up leaves. Definitely recommend. Scoop Up a Lot March 29, 2017 These are great for me (5'3" woman). They fulfill their purpose and then some. I use one with a rake to transfer leaves to our animals They feel solidly flexible (not flimsy) and the hand band automatically adjusts its fitness. Perfect for their purpose. January 27, 2015 I purchased the Gardenhome Hand Leaf Rakes, Large Size, several months ago along with an electric leaf shredder. I blow the leaves into a pile and then use the Hand Leaf Rakes to scoop and place the leaves in the shredder. They work great. I can pick up a big bunch of leaves or a smaller bunch leaves depending what will fit in the shredder at the time. I always wear work gloves and the Hand Leaf Rakes have a strap long enough to accommodate. The teeth permit grabbing twigs and small branches that are hidden in the leaves and the shredder can't digest. The plastic is flexible enough to pick up leaves easily and not break. The plastic handles require a little positioning to find the "sweet spot" for a gloved hand but this is easy to accomplish.I recommend these Gardenhome Hand Leaf Rakes. I haven't tried any of the others that Amazon sells so I can't make comparisons but I know that I am happy with these. I would purchase these again without hesistation. Triple what you pick up with these! June 24, 2014 My mother had a pair of these and I was so impressed I ordered the small and large size. It is amazing how quickly you can pick up pile of leaves, dirt or whatever you are moving. I did make one mistake. The large size is all you will need....it works for small and big jobs and the handles fit my hands (with gloves) much better! This is one of those products that you end up saying....why didn't I know about these years ago!!! Rake Hands Rock! June 1, 2014 These are so handy for scooping up after weeding and taking off dry leaves. They hold so much when youuse them properly and save tons of time. My old pair wore out and I was so excited to find them again!! | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 17% Loved 'em! These are lighter and don't seem as ... May 5, 2017 Had another similar product a few years ago, and unfortunately and mistakenly trashed them after three seasons. Loved 'em! These are lighter and don't seem as sturdy; have only used once,so will given them the benefit of the doubt. Would buy again. Good value March 28, 2017 I chose these for their utility and their low price. The plastic isn't exactly heavy duty, but I managed to fill three lawn & leaf bags with black walnuts and other yard debris using them, and they held up nicely. They seem likely to last at least several seasons. They make it a lot easier to pick up substantial amounts of yard waste than the usual rake-and-work-gloves method. I'd recommend them. A Real treat for Your Yardwork March 28, 2017 I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but we have a ton of fall leaves that need to be removed this spring. I can't wait to try them. I have been using a dustpan and a rake....very clumsy. Pretty Good December 13, 2016 These made picking up the millions of leaves much easier. My only complaint is the plastic handles...one was actually broken when it arrived. Obviously wouldn't have lasted through an use if already broken. I didn't bother returning because we removed the flimsy plastic handles and replaced with rope. Worked like a charm. quick clean up! July 3, 2014 I am so glad I bought these. They work really well! I rake all my leaves & weeds into a pile then use these to pick it up. The little blades on the bottom allow you to keep raking the pile until you get it all cleaned up. My hubby makes fun of me when I use them, but they do the job that I need them to do. They have plenty of space for your hand to fit under the handles & you don't have to get your hands all nasty. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 3% Just okay May 2, 2017 Does an okay job. Doesn't pick up huge amounts of leaves at a time like I'd hoped. Normally have to use my hands for the last bit of the pile because it doesn't pick that up well either. I've found you're able to pick up more leaves at a time if you ditch the handles and just hold on to the very back of the picker-uppers. Not the best product out there, but it sort of does the job. OK for the price April 7, 2016 These work OK & for the price are helpful. If I were to purchase something like this again, I would go for one of the more expensive ones which look much sturdier. I may still buy one of those pairs. Not at all what i'd call 'large.' An unfortunate, underwhelming first impression. March 23, 2016 I have to say, I was underwhelmed with the size of these 'hand rakes.' They are probably twice the width of my hand, and really, barely longer than my hand. My finger reached up to the tines themselves, but fortunately didn't quite reach all the way to the top of the rake. The adjustable 'strap' is plastic, so not all that comfortable, and I already have visions of them snapping due an unfortunate snagging on a fallen branch or such. Of course, I will update my review after I've attempted to use these a few times. Who knows...a miracle may happen and they actually impress me to end after such an underwhelming first impression little too flexible July 1, 2014 Works OK, I guess, but the plastic has a lot of give to it. I've had this kind of thing before, and it was much stiffer. I wonder how long before they break. They aren't as large as I though, since I bought the "large size." | 0% There are no reviews yet |

Two Stars November 13, 2016 plastic hand straps are weak, one broke just trying to slip my hand in it. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 6% Poor Customer Service by Manufacturer November 8, 2016 Arrived broken, emailed picture to manufacturer like it said to do and all they want to do is go back and forth with emails. Leaves only fall one time a year. Cheap and brittle April 17, 2015 Cheaply made, the little tabs that hold the hand holder in broke immediately on both pairs. I wish I had my $10 back Very poor quality..... December 27, 2014 The end on one of the handles broke off with the first use. (And I have small hands.) I now have a useless set of hand rakes. I could not recommend this set of hand rakes or this manufacturer to anyone. I am disappointed that Amazon even carries these. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
