I am not a baker and my cakes always come out looking lopsided with icing. I finally bought this tool along with the Wilton 409-7716 angled ice spatula for $5.99 free prime shipping and made a cake I was not embarrass of! Best baking tool ever! Idk why I didn't get these before. Saved me time and stress!

My piping bag broke after 15 years. I was looking for another one and found this product. I have only used it for deviled eggs and it is awesome! The tip is large enough for pieces of pickle to slide through and the eggs look beautiful plus it is so much faster than the bag was. Also there is no product left in the plunger. I love how efficient this is.

I bake gourmet cheesecakes fairly regularly and I've used Wilton pastry bags for years. As much fun as it is to use pastry bags, I wanted to give this a try. I must admit I liked what I saw. I had roughly the same, if not better results using this versus pastry bags. The ability to always have constant pressure helps prevent air bubbles.

The best part is that I no longer have to constantly purchase boxes of pastry bags. The ability to just throw this in the dish washer and reuse it over and over again has already paid for itself.

Made cupcake decorating so much easier! The cupcakes came out so beautiful and I didn't need a piping bag to do it. Definitely a must have for beginner bakers!

So before purchasing this decorator I had a Pampered Chef Decorator...that said I will probably go with Wilton for my cake/food decorating needs for now on. The price difference between this decorator and the Pampered Chef is very broad but so is the functionality. Unlike the Pampered Chef, the Wilton Dessert Decorator Plus is easy to clean, have only the tips and cylinder ring as the tiny parts, and is very strong. I use this decorator more for deviled eggs and food prep rather than cake decorating but it works grand just the same.

Awesome Cake Stand!!! I was on the fence as to how important a rotating cake stand is to decorating cakes but when it came time to do a cake that I really wanted to turn out well I broke down and got this while it was on sale. I cant say enough about how much easier this made the decoration process of a cake! Not only does this rotate but it tilts! This is something I would recommend to anyone who is in the market for a cake stand, don't settle for the one that is more simple. Go big or go home with this, you wont regret getting this I promise. It is so easy to use and clean. The top of the stand has a great grip so when you use the tilting feature your cake doesn't fall off. Its great overall!!

Love this turntable. I use it all the time to spread on icing on my cakes, its easier when I can just turn the cake around instead of having to turn around myself around the table or counter. It's also great for displaying my cakes. Wilton never fails to impress me!

I love this. Not to bulky so it doesn't take your eye off your masterpiece. It makes decorating cakes so much easier.

I really wanted a cake spinner after watching one of those viral cake frosting videos. And since I had opted to make my own wedding cake, I thought it would be fine to splurge on a new gadget. The bearings make a lot of noise, but the turn table is very smooth. I didn't do any whirlwind spinning. lol. But even using it to slowly turn the cake as we decorated it was a big help. We even used it to serve the cake.

I'm giving this 5 stars for now. I just got this and I checked the box. Everything is there as described. Although it seems a bit on the light side. I like it cos it's clear and you can see what you have inside the insert level. I tried the plunger to make sure it works ok like this and it's fine. I'll update this when I use it. Highly recommend for now.

Update: 11 September 2017- I used this tonight. It worked very well to insert cream filling in my muffins. The pudding didn't run up the sides of the container as I pushed it down, which I like very much. I wasn't able to use it on my frosting unfortunately cos it was melted in the can from the heat. So I have to put it in the refrigerator to get hardened up a bit. Then hopefully I can experiment with it. Otherwise it came out nice. Now I really want that Twinkie pan I saw!

One of the big cons about this item is that they need to include a small cleaning brush with it for the tips so you can clean it properly. The holes are too small to pass a regular cleaning cloth they. Another problem I can see is the open spring assembly used to push the thumb lever. They should have sealed it closed. Over time, this can rust because you can't open it to clean it properly and dry thoroughly.

Other than that everything is fine.

I tried this today and it's amazing!
I bought this to make the cookies! It's really easy to press the cookie dough which I used to make with the decorating bag.
But as this is not designed for the cookies so the tube is a little bit small to fit the dough in.
But anyway compare to to the bag it is a really handy tool to make cookies. Will try the cookie press of Wilton too!

I bought this when I was going to make and take cupcakes to a party with people I didn't know well, so my rustic "throw on some frosting on" wouldn't be the best, and I wanted to show off.

Using this to put fresh whipped cream on my cupcakes was really simple and the results were great! I was up and using it quickly and I had no issues. It was easy to clean, and I was able to make use of almost all the whipped cream I put in. It was not the easiest to fill, though I like the suggestion of the plastic bag. I have a small Wilton offset long spatula that used to help push the frosting in, but that is probably the only area I had to work on my technique.

Now, this is great if you are just making a batch or two of cupcakes with a good amount of frosting. The tube does not hold a ton, and I had to fill it up twice, once all the way, and once just a quarter, to get through 12 cupcakes with a good amount of whipped cream frosting on them. Probably would be ok with other "trim" frosting on cakes/cookies. If you are having to decorate 5 batches of cupcakes, I would probably invest in a bigger pastry bag.

I am a lefty and this worked great for me. The included instructions for what tip to use/technique for different designs was really helpful. For a small time baker, this really helps give items a professional look!

A little messy to load with frosting, but creates beautifully frosted cakes and cupcakes. Absolutely worth the price!

Saved the day when decorating a shower cake. Really easy to use. Cake came out great!

I bought this for my wife and she loved it. Unfortunately she put a warm (note: not hot only warm) cake on it and the stand deformed. Do to the deformation it does not turn properly any more.

Nice cake stand and very sturdy . It doesn't rotate as fast as the ones shown on the net where they spin quite fast as you ice the cake . The cake stand is a good height and great for holding the cake at an angle while decorating .

This is a great turntable. It's plastic, so it's not as sturdy as the professional ones, but the grippy circle is great for holding on to the cake. The only issue was when icing a small six inch cake, the the base wasn't as big as the turning portion of the turn table. I had to put the smaller cake on a larger cake circle to get it to turn.

The tips are way bigger than I expected, so if you're trying to do small desserts or more intricate decorating...this is not the way to go. Still usable though and the operation of it is smooth and easy.

I hated it, but my mom liked it. So I rated in the middle. Lol! So much cleaning after and you can't do that many cupcakes with it. But my mom said it has good control... idk. Worth a shot I guess.

Its nice and pretty good quality for the price. The macaroon batter kept getting through the sides and a fourth of the batter was stuck. I then had to spend some time getting it out and that made the time for the macaroons to sit out uneven so I couldn't put them in at once which was frustrating. The batter also kinda leaked out as i pipped but maybe thats just with macaroon batter.

Even though these tools are supposed to be simple and easy to use, they were not easy for me to use. I have used the set once (with results not worthy of an instagram photo), and ever since then, they have been tucked in a kitchen drawer. To me, they are only for more advanced cake decorators.

I bought this to decorate 3 dimensional cake trees. The tips are HUGE! I tried to adjust it by putting a smaller tip inside the bigger one. It didn't work. I've contacted Wilton asking for smaller tips. I HOPE they have them! The gun makes decorating much easier. I have one for creating jerky treats for my dogs. It works in a similar manned, and, I think it's better made! Color me disappointed!

Not the most sturdy item and there is little space between the table and the start of the cake. But does serve it's purpose and has made it through 4 washes without breaking. Not too bad.

Wasn't able to determine how this was supposed to lock, so it kept spinning. No information included.

This is NOT dishwasher safe. Mine got melted and warped when I put it through the dishwasher. With that being said I enjoyed this product a lot while it lasted. It is quite large and the top is removable so you can use it as a plate as well.

It works just ok. It tends to stick a lot when turning even a small cake on the stand, which kinda defeats the point of a turntable.

It has a hitch when I turn so it's not very smooth, I think I should have invested in the more expensive version of this, it messes me up when I'm trying to frost decorations onto the cake.

The thumb plunger broke about the 6th time I used it! I was using room temp buttercream icing so there was no much pressure being used. Don't think I'll get a plastic one again.

I don't like this at all. It didn't help with decorating, it ended up being a mess and I just used a butter knife to decorate my cupcakes

The handle is hard to press and tires your hand. The tube only holds enough frosting to do 3-4 cupcakes so you are constantly refilling it which is a pain. Think I prefer a pastry bag.

I had high hopes for this product but it just wasn't a good fit for my needs. I'm new to cake decorating and thought this would be easier than pastry bags. Unfortunately, I think it's actually harder to use. The cylinder is messy to fill and then my thumb actually got really tired piping icing. And once you get to the end of a thumb push, you lose your momentum and have to start a new push (if that makes sense), causing a pause in your icing stream. I'm using pastry bags from here on out.

Didn't turn well. I was expecting something better.

It doesn't spin smoothly, will jerk back and forth as you try to spin it no matter how slow or fast you spin it. You have to go back over the same spot multiple times to get a smooth surface

This turn table arrived without any plastic covering and dirty like someone had already iced a cake on it. It spins but not smoothly. Sending back...

Ok for the beginner but the spin of this is a little choppy which is not conducive to a smooth finished product.

Cheaply made, didn't turn smoothly when it came- we were able to adjust it to make it work but you get what you pay for I guess.

Wilton makes a great product. We love the ability to easily decorate cakes without struggling to spin the baked good. However this product is missing a key element - the lock. Without the lock the turntable often moves without you wanting it to. Causing headache when trying todo intricate decor. I would recommend the deluxe turntable over this model.

I bought this to use with my granddaughters to decorate a birthday cake. We had a very difficult time making it work. Even with fairly soft icingWe couldn't get it to squeeze out. The girls couldn't do it at all. I was able to get some out by forcing with all my strength, and taking breaks to give my hands a break. I think I'll just throw it away.

Tip is not durable at all. I loved this item, however, after a few uses, the screw portion of the tip split completely in half. So now I have a useless item that I can no longer use. Wasted Money.

I really enjoyed using this. It made decorating cupcakes a breeze. But I only got to do it twice. The third time I used it, the bottom cracked, the coupler/tip/lid flew off, and icing went everywhere. Pretty disappointing.

the package included the wrong decoration tip. So, I can't attach any of decoration tip to the product. It is including two same tips, instead of one big diameter tip allow to attach other decoration tip. so, I can't use this product at all!.

If you are going to get a cake decorating stand, get a professional cast iron one for the same price. this one tries to add bells and whistles to make it more appealing, but it just makes it more difficult to use. there is no need for it to tilt, and the top portion with the slip resistant thing is useless, i take it off so i can throw down my slip resistant little rubber mat. i regret not returning it for what i really wanted (it was a gift), so ill end up spending my own money for a cast iron professional one anyway.

Does not turn smoothly at all. I expected much more of a Wilton product. Would return it if I could!!
