Excellent customer service is worth the cost of the chair alone.
August 23, 2017
I am rating this chair 5 Stars for a factors:1) This chair is a very good option at the price point. It is comfy, has a nice high back, and is generally well constructed.2) This chair lasted 1.5 years with little or no problems. A few screws worked themselves loose and a few screw covers did the same, but over all great. The main reason that I am giving this chair 5 Stars is the amazing customer support that I received. After owning this chair for 1.5 years, the base below the seat cracked, so the piston would no longer adjust the angle of the chair. It was stuck in permanent lean back mode. After a few weeks of this, it started to lean left as well.I contacted customer support through Amazon and was met with a response within 24 hours. After a very short email conversation, I had a new part shipped to me with the intention of repairing my chair. After ~10 or so emails and 4-5 parts, I now have a functioning chair again. I'll buy from these guys again, no question.
Great for long hours

Pros:ComfyCheapLooks greatCons:Wish it went lowerSet armsCats tears up the leatherI'm saving up to purchase a DX Racer, but use this as my current chair. We had to purchase this chair to replace the one our cat tore up while staying at a family members house, and we kept the old one. It's a great chair, I don't feel uncomfortable after sitting in it for long periods of time (6-8 hours a day). It leans back nicely. I wish it went a little lower, but it's fine. The length from the front to the back of the chair is really long. If I put my back against the chair, the back of my knees can't reach the edge to sit comfortably. So as a result I use a pillow behind my back.
its good but comfort depends on the table you use

its good but comfort depends on the table you use.its high chair even at 1st level so if you have small table be careful for dimensions or its arms doesnt i like it
5 minutes from box to desk

Nice chair and easy to put together.Six bolts, four on the bottom, one on each armrest. The wheels snap onto the base easy peasy, bolt on the controls, drop onto support and then place the remaining bolts into the arm rests. For these two (if by yourself) I would recommend facing the chair into a wall, applying slight pressure to backrest, and the bolts go in relatively easy.I'm a big guy and this chair feels pretty comfy. I'll be using it for my hobby desk, so this will get a lot of use. Will check back in about a month from now to update. All in all, fast delivery, easy set up, looks great - I like it!
very good quality, comfort, and price
February 22, 2015
I purchased the chair from a seller called valuemassage on a popular auction site. The item title is "High Back Leather Executive Office Desk Task Computer Chair w/Metal Base O10". I paid 90 bucks including shipping. The box was shipped UPS, and it arrived in good condition. The model was listed as OC-2610-Black, but the model on the box says OC-2610H. Factory Direct Wholesales is printed on the box; and their site lists the model as OC-2610. Although the seller location is GA, the box was shipped from CA...probably drop shipping. The instructions include a parts list, 6 pictures showing how to assemble the chair, and 3 pictures showing how to adjust the chair. The instructions were easy to follow. All the parts were included, along with a 5mm allen wrench, 2 extra bolts, and an extra bolt cap.INSTALLATIONThe 5 wheels snapped into the metal base...no problem. The gas cylinder sits in the metal base, and the cylinder dust cover slides over the top of the cylinder (press the cover down around the cylinder rod until it rests on the cylinder base). The metal mechanism with the lever and seat tilt knob is secured to the bottom of the chair using 4 bolts. Make sure the front end of the base is lined up with the front end of the chair (both are labeled). Screw each bolt in halfway, and then tighten them with the included 5mm allen wrench. Then set the chair on top of the cylinder on the metal base.So far...easy. The last part could be very frustrating and time consuming, depending on how the holes in your chair line up. To make this last part EASY, do the following:For the 2 bolts that secure the chair back to the arm rest (one on each side)...BEFORE you attempt to install the 2 bolts that secure the chair back to the arm rest...With the back of the chair pushed forward, screw the bolts into the holes. Notice how easily the bolts screw into the holes. They don't require force at all. So, if you use force to screw them, then you may cross-thread the bolts, and that's bad. Just keep in mind that they DO screw in easily, when lined up correctly. Now that you have a "feel" for how easily the bolts screw in, do the following:Pop off the cap of the bolt above it with your fingernail, loosen that bolt (#1 in photo) with a 6mm allen wrench, and then screw-in the bottom bolt (#2 in photo) using the supplied 5mm allen wrench. If you do that, then it is EASY to install. Don't tighten the bolts until you do the same thing with the bolts on the other side. Once they are both threaded, then tighten all 4 bolts and push-in all 4 caps.Loosening the bolt above the bolt that you are trying to install allows you to move the back of the chair a little, and that helps A LOT when trying to line-up the bottom bolt. Also, when attempting to install the 2 bolts that secure the back of the chair to the arm rest, I found it easier to tilt the chair all the way forward, so that the top of the chair is resting on the floor. See the photo in my review, if this doesn't make sense. This allowed me to put pressure on the area where the back meets the bottom of the chair, which also helped to line-up the bolts. In this position, you can either press down on the chair with your hand, or just sit on it.ADJUSTINGThe chair can be raised or lowered by lifting the lever on the right side under the chair. The same lever can be pulled out (allows the chair to recline), or pushed in (prevents the chair from reclining). The seat tilt tension knob under the chair can be twisted to the left/clockwise (to make the chair much more difficult to recline--or not recline at all), or twisted to the right/counter-clockwise (to make the chair easier to recline).FEEL, SUPPORT, SIZEI am 5' 9" tall and weight about 160 pounds. I do not need to raise the chair. With the chair all the way down, my feet rest flat on the floor. With the chair in this position, it measures about 18 inches from the floor to the top of the seat cushion where my legs hangover. From the area where my legs hangover to where my butt sits, it slopes down; the area where my butt sits is about 1 inch lower than the area where my legs hangover.I twisted the seat tilt tension knob all the way to the left, so the chair does not recline--that's how I like it. If the seat tilt tension knob under the chair is set to a loose position, then you may notice that the chair has a slight rocking motion. However, if you twist the seat tilt tension knob under the chair to the left/clockwise until it is snug, then the rocking stops. Of course, if you do that, then the chair does not recline much, but it also doesn't rock.I use the chair at home at my computer desk. I do not roll it around; it sits on top of a chair mat to protect my carpet.I think the arm rests are positioned just right and they are comfortable (the padding is firm). The bottom seat cushion is very comfortable (not firm); it feels like there is a top/soft layer and a bottom/firm layer. The back of the chair is similar. The bottom and back are bucket seat style, which I like. The chair supports me well.I was looking for a high back chair for better support. There is a smell, which is most noticeable when I sit down in the chair (caused by the air in the cushion being pressed out). The smell is not overpowering to me, and it does not smell like gasoline. It's hard to describe what it smells like...plastics/synthetics, I guess. It's typical for new stuff to have a smell; and just like new car smell, it will disappear after a while. It does not bother me. If the smell bothers you, then just eat chilli or baked beans for a few nights and that should take care of it!All the stitching looks good; nothing is unraveling or coming part. The chair feels solid, sturdy, and well-made.I am very happy with the comfort, quality, and price.keywords: tools, tip, trick, hex key, allen key, hex wrench, last bolt, stinksUPDATE 3/10/15It's been about 2 weeks since I wrote this review. The smell is gone.
Solid, comfortable
March 11, 2014
And well priced. I had a chair that could have been a twin till the back broke after 2 years of daily use of 8 hours on average. I couldn't find a match for over 3 years till I saw this on Amazon. I need a chair that sits high. I have a tall desk, I'm over 6 feet myself and since I have arthritis in my neck looking slightly down at the monitors I use makes work comfortable instead of painful. I like this chair well enough that I'm ordering another to sit in the garage unassembled as a spare.****Update*** It's more than 3 years later & the first chair broke so I put the second one together and am now using it. These are a bargain. Inexpensive and comfortable.

Very very comfortable, speakers are loud and clear
November 28, 2016
Very very comfortable, speakers are loud and clear, sub in chair is fantasic for gaming, and easy hook up. It took me less than 15 mins to set everything up and play. It also works great with xbox one. I was curious if it was campiable with the xbox one before I bought the item and didn't really get any firm answers. But to clarify, it's hooked up to my tv rather than the gaming system. But none the less, it works perfect.
Not good for tall people..
October 15, 2016
The product is quite amazing actually but there is a problem, if you are tall then you can't enjoy it very much because your legs must be left up from the ground. I'm 5.85 .I tried to contact the company about if I can purchase a stand for it but there is no respond from them until this moment.

February 4, 2016
Got this for my son for Christmas and he really likes the sound and the rumble. We plugged it into our audio system (doesn't actually plug into the PS4) and it works great. However, about a week ago, the power wouldn't stay on with the switch engaged. I contacted customer service and within 2 days, they sent a replacement control panel. I had seen a few reviews where the customer service wasn't great, but I totally disagree. Got the panel today and the chair works great! Awesome to see such good customer service and the chair is very solid. Would definitely recommend.
Great chair!
April 15, 2015
It's pretty comfortable to sit in and doesn't tip back. However, the sound doesn't work. If connected through the transmitter, it doesn't get any sound, not even buzzing. If directly connected through cables, it gets some sound, but with a lot of static and buzzing. It's horrible!!! Plus there's no vibration since the sound doesn't work.Update 4/21/2015We got the chair to work when it was connected directly to the DVR box, but there was only static coming when the wireless transmitter was connected to the TV. I wanted this to work with my son's XBOX One, so we ended up buying an HDMI converter http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KBHX072/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, which connects to the Xbox and then to the TV. The transmitter is connected straight to the back of the HDMI converter and the sound is now perfect! When gaming or watching Netflix, the sound now comes from the chair as well as from the TV at the same time with no lagging at all. You can mute the TV or the chair and they both work independently.
Enhanced XBOX ONE gaming experience!
January 8, 2015
I bought this for my husband for Christmas 2014. My husband is a true gamer and he loves this chair to death. Paid 211 for one of these. Glad I did!!! It's nice quality, not too big and fits just right in our small living room. It folds for easy storage too. We both love it so much, we went and bought a second one! One for me and one for him side by side in our living room of two TVs. (We like to play online together). It rocks back and forth like a rocking chair which is great when my toddler likes to sleep on us when we play on our XBOX One. The leather quality is nice...the sound quality is excellent and also great to use when watching a movie! It truly enhances and changes the experience and it can crank up really loud! My husband said the sound quality is amazing, "it puts gaming to a whole new level, you can really FEEL like you're in the game". Although the audio experience is excellent, I would rate comfort quality level a 4.5 out of 5, only because I've used the chair 2 weeks now and my butt shape has already imprinted in the seat. Don't get me wrong, IT IS ABSOLUTELY comfortable, but I just wish that the seat had a thicker and better quality padding. No biggie! Another small issue is that I like to sit with my legs up and crossed (indian style) and everytime I do so, i almost fall back. Now obviously the chair is not nade to be sat in like that, but that's just my personal issue with the chair. Take it from me, just do NOT fold and cross your legs in or you may fall back! Lol. No one nornally sits that way in the chair anyway, so it's just my personal struggle. I just have to sit properly like everyone else :) all in all, It's been a great buy and we happily just purchased another one. Oh! This chair FOLDS which is also awesome! My 5'11" 180lb. husband loves it, my 10 year old nephew loves it, and I love it! I recommend for anyone!
Impressive chair!
December 27, 2013
This chair is easily a 5 star winner!I finally got around to hooking it up for my kid to use with his Xbox One and his Xbox 360 and was very impressed with the sound quality and loudness. The bass in this chair also really helped make the difference. Ryse in it's full glory playing this char made for some pretty immersive gameplay. I'm actually considering getting me one, too. There are a couple of thing to think about before getting this, but none are in any way deal breakers, but more preference.1)The chair does sit low. It is supposed to, but if you have a TV on a wall mount, entertainment center, or desk and don't have the ability to have the chair far enough away, you may be looking up a bit. I actually anticipated this and picked up a $40 TV stand. Not only was this solution cheap, but the TV stand works great as it is low to the floor, has shelves for the Xbox One to sit on and a few side shelves for accessories and games to be stored when not in use. It is the perfect height.2)The chair is a rocker and it is pretty heavy especially when someone is in it so WATCH YOUR FEET and if you have small children or pets, well, one good rock over a hand, foot or paw and you may have some injuries on your hands. This can be totally avoided by just using common sense. My kid almost got my foot and I could tell right away I had better be careful. If you are NOT the one sitting in the chair it is up to you to watch where you are.3)The power cord for the chair is a little short and in my opinion needed to be a little more sturdy. Don't get me wrong, it does it job just fine and luckily for our setup reached the wall, but it does not sit flat on the floor. I would have preferred to have some low profile floor covering for cords, but for me to do this would mean buying a new cord. The MFG should have realized that most people will be sitting in the center of a room and not next to a wall.It really is a nice chair. Just make sure to have some rechargeable batteries or research buying an additional power adapter for the wireless box as I'm sure it will eat through the power.

Good for the price.

you get what you pay for but a bit more here.I really like this chair and only because I am a student right now. If it were for my daily office work, I would probably spend a bit more and get a more comfy chair. But for me this is pretty comfortable, lacking a little softness but nonetheless comfy.I got the brown chair and it looks very expensive at a fraction of the cost. It is a bit more darker than the picture they show, which is what i wanted so it works out well. The shipping was fast for not being prime - 2 days!Overall great buy, I'd say. If it lasts me for 2-4 years, I'm happy.

October 5, 2016
This is a very pretty chair! The white version I ordered goes great with my light/airy minimalist theme in my office. I bought this chair in July 2016, it's now October 2016.- I sit in this chair no less than 5 consecutive hours a day and it's very comfortable.- Assembly was a little difficult to do myself. I put it together in about an hour. Then when my husband came home he helped me readjust some screws as needed.- It's ergonomic to an extent.- The lower back extended portion does align with my lower back; however, does not come all the way up and flush with my shoulder area. If I want to have my back totally aligned with the seat back, I end up having to lean all the way back.- There is no way to adjust the back portion. The adjustable handle is only for height.- The chair itself does have a little rocking motion to it which was nice.- I'm right handed and I can tell that the right arm rest is losing a lot of cushioned padding from constant use. The left side is fine.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase! The price was affordable and it's exactly what I needed. We'll see how it holds up over time.
Mixed feelings
July 23, 2016
I bought several of these for our board room and the first few were great but I did have a problem with the last one. I could not get the screws to lineup for the left arm rest and when I tried calling the company they were very difficult to work with. I wasn't ever able to get them to resolve my issue and so I'm giving it four stars because they were not helpful! I was able to overtime make it work and finally after quite a bit of work I was able to get the chairs built. I think it's fine as long as you don't have issues like I did with the armrest but I have seen other reviewer's make similar comments that they also had a hard time getting the armrests screws to fit into the holes correctly. So far I really enjoyed the chair and it seems to be very solid. My only hesitation is if you're unlucky enough to get one that doesn't line up very well.
the box was smash in and look like it was run over
February 28, 2016
Alright when I received this item in the big box it came in, the box was smash in and look like it was run over. Luckily everything inside was great, nothing destroyed. Problem was half of the item needed to put the chair together was missing. I only received 3 items so I proceeded to contact the seller and find out what happen. The thing was the the shipping took forever, so at this point even though I felt the need for a new chair, I was hoping this company customer service was good. Luckily on the 2nd day they finally responded to my email and help problem solved the solution away. It was pretty much getting them to shipped me the rest of the missing pieces. So I'm satisfied with that part of deal although it did took another 2 weeks of waiting. Once everything came, I was able to get the chair up without instruction. It was pretty simple and a common sense type thing although I am left with 2 screws and a screw cover that I don't know what to do with. The chair itself feel good. For the price it very fair. I have yet to feel any pain from sitting to long or any kind of uncomfortable feeling. If this chair last me a good 3-5 year than I am very satisfied. My last chair lasted a long time before I decided I need something else with a higher back support Speaking of back support it is plenty high. I can lean my head back and it just perfectly align with the top part of the cushion. It is a big chair, so you will need plenty of room. If you have a small desk like mines, than forget about even pushing it in. I pretty much turn the back side toward the desk. So that it won't get in the way of my tv view. All in all it a great chair at the price it asking for. It no different from all the other chair that look like it. Depending on how you use it, I could see this chair lasting a very long time. Side note I didn't bother lifting the chair up as it was big enough for my desk already. So I guess since I'm not really using the gas pressure much, it should last me a long time, yes with time those thing do go out.
Nice chair
March 25, 2015
I received this chair today and assembled it about 10 minutes ago. Here I am.It is pretty comfortable, its not a lazy boy, but as fat as computer chairs go this is one of the most comfortable ones I've sat in.Assembly was done by myself (I'm a 22yo male pretty mechanically inclined) it took me about 20 minutes from open box to assembled chair. The only difficult part about it was aligning the seat to allow the screws to go in from the sides, I elected to push the Mfg instructions aside and did it my way and found it much easier. Laying the chair on its side and using my leg to force it into alignment while i screwed each end in. Worked well enough for me.Seems much more robust in key areas where my last chair failed. I'm not a large guy at 6,'0" 185 lbs. Pretty average, My last chair snapped where the are holds the back and seat together as I was leaning back during a phone conversation. These are much thicker and seem to be made of a more dense composite plastic material. the legs for the wheels is a thin but adequate steel.Overall I give the chair a 4/5... I feel the fit and finish could be better and the assembly could have been easier. As far as comfort, looks, and shipping speed I give it a 5/5.

I got this chair for $140. One of my best entertainment purchases.
August 19, 2017
The sub woofer rumble feature is fantastic and natural, the volume just has to be high enough for it to function. I leave the chair at 100% volume and use the windows volume adjuster on my keyboard to change on the fly. I actually feel like I'm rumbling through the gears in a diesel truck and feel the recoil of guns. The chair combined with controller rumble is an immersive fantastic experience. The chair itself isn't that comfortable. There is a hard bar right across the shoulders and another at the thighs. The back could use more padding, there basically is none. When rocking in the chair, the frame squeaks. It has leather, and all the downsides of it; squeaking, sticking to it, causing sweat, rough stitching that hurts, etc. I found a crotchet blanket on Etsy that fits the chair perfectly. I unscrewed the top speaker grills, hung the crotchet blanket, then re-screwed in the grills, so the blanket it permanently draped by the speaker grills. This has made the chair much more comfortable and eliminated the leather issues. The 4 speakers doesn't seem to make any difference. They are strictly stereo channels with no front to back balance, so you can't set it at 4.1 audio. I constantly fear that the front speakers aren't working, so I have to get down and put my ear next to the front speakers to confirm that they are contributing the to the overall sound. The front speakers should be 130% volume or more so you can actually tell that they are there while sitting in the chair. While the arms are not adjustable, they are the perfect height for me. If you have the Corsair Lapdog, this chair and the arms work perfectly with it. The arms are also nice and smooth.Even better than the awesome rumble feature is that how while sitting in the chair the sound if very clear, loud, rumbling, and immersive, it's actually quiet through a closed door. That's the advantage of having the speakers right next to you at all times. They don't have to be turned up to travel the distance to your ears.I got this chair for $140. One of my best entertainment purchases.
Works perfect for PS4 & sounds great!
January 5, 2016
I looked at several brands & decided to go with these. They are a little heavy (kids don't mind they just scoot them across the floor). these are Great chairs for the price & sound is wonderful. Very happy with these (I bought 2 of them). However, I only gave 4 stars because there needs to be more padding around the lower back area all the way thru the curve that ties it into the seat part. I didn't have to buy anything extra to use the wireless feature (except AAA batteries ) & the setup is super easy. Kids play the ps4, watch tv, & play music all the time now thru the chairs.
Decent, with a few things to make it work great.
October 30, 2015
Sound and subwoofer work great. RCA input only. This was a slight problem with my setup as my receiver only has HDMI out. Therefor I had to buy an HDMI/RCA audio extractor (Cyelee Full HD 1080P 3D HDMI to HDMI + Optical SPDIF + RCA L / R Audio Video Extractor Converter works good). There is a slight audio delay that creates an echo effect, so for dialogue I tend to turn down my chair and then turn it back up during action. It's slightly uncomfortable by itself, but with a few pillows it's super comfortable and I sit for hours in it with no problem. Fun stuff, I recommend it for gamers.
Oh well I like it more than I don't like it
May 25, 2015
Oh well I like it more than I don't like it! But there is still couple of problems with it! After one year and 1 week roughly it sagged at the edge or right on the tip of the cushion of for legs. There would be no problem, if not the great engineering idea! At the place where chair sagged there is a piece of wood 2x2 inches or so and it is really hard to sit. I found a solution, bought a cushion, disassembled the chair and with non human effort and struggle squeezed it into the right place, so now this chair is more comfortable than it was new!SO IF YOU ARE 170 POUNDS OR MORE DON'T EVEN THINK TO BUY IT! I am 152 pounds and this chair still sagged, so any of you who is buying expect this chair to be comfotable, but poorly engineered and if down the road you are willing to make improvements like I did this chair is right for you.P.S. It is a little too low to the ground, I wish I bought version with a leg!
Great product, compatibility, delivery. Notable potential for improvement too.
September 14, 2014
People have given really thorough and constructive feedback about this product. I would like to add that this chair is compatible with any device that you connect to your TV (PC, console, DVD/Blueray, etc.) because essentially what you are doing is directing the sound coming out from the TV to this chair, regardless of the original source of the sound. Of course you can connect the chair directly to the individual devices too if you choose to do that. I found that the best sound quality comes when you have both the chair and TV outputting sound. With some volume adjustment of the TV and the chair separately, you can easily find the perfect balance. I wish the chair has a pedestal with adjustable heights though (I didn't get the pro 2.1 with pedestal because I wanted the two additional speakers at the front of the chair, plus the pro 2.1 doesn't allow you to adjust the height either).
Good Buy
January 27, 2014
I bought this christmas present for my boyfriends since he is into gaming. He already owned one of those ugly bean bag gaming chairs, and it was just a horrible eye sore (not to mention the zebra print). It came in two days from UPS in a very large box designed for two people to carry due to the weight. It was difficult to wrap since my wrapping paper was not very thick. Christmas morning he opened it, and loved it! We instantly plugged it into his PS3 and the sound is amazing not to memtion the vibrations from the stereros. The only negative thing I can say about this is that the main cirlce volume dial was a little scratched up. Overall, a good purchase he uses it daily not just for gaming but to watch tv and lounge.

Not quite good enough.
September 23, 2017
This chair is... not the best. It's easy enough to assemble and even comes with some spair parts. The problems arise when trying to sit in the chair. It's firm and has no give, meaning only some people can comfortablly sit in it. It's got a lot of creases that feel like they were placed intentionally to cause back strain. And it gets unnatually hot very quickly. The major problems is that I've bought chairs for less that were better, ones that didn't have any of the aformentioned problems. No unnatural head rests that don't help anyone, no awkward almost design that aggravates the body at rest. And certainly not this unnaturally stiff.
Do not Reccommend
August 13, 2017
It's a decent office chair, however, I found that the center cushion on the seat has lackluster padding compared to what I was expecting from the pictures and reviews. It looks great and the back support is comfortable but I have to add a pillow or blanket on the seat if I am sitting in it for more than an hour.I thought about returning it but it would've been too much of a hassle to deconstruct and repackage in the giant box it comes in. I would suggest passing on this one and just spend a little more money for a more comfortable chair.
Good for the Price, Not Great
June 12, 2017
Nice chair for simple use, e.g., a college student's desk chair. Wouldn't recommend to anyone with a fancy office. The high back adds a lot to the comfort and support; the seat is fine, nothing special. The armrests are at a very good height, but they don't adjust. Seat height adjustment has a good range. The recline motion moves the whole chair, not just the back separate from the seat. The reason for 3 stars is that the build quality is poor. The seat is attached to the base by simply being "plugged-in" through a well-fitted hole; over time, I imagine this will wear down meaning the seat could pop out if it falls over. The backrest is attached to the seat by connecting both to the armrests; as such, the only thing holding the back in place is 2 small screws on each side. Overall a really nice chair for someone on a budget, but if you're a lawyer or something definitely spend a little more for something better.

I really liked it at first and still think it's one of the better chairs I've had. That said...Didn't last a year before I took the armrests off to restuff them. It had very thin foam padding that just completely flatten out from the way I sit. I sit in the chair most of the day and tend to lean on my elbows, so I guess I just dug the padding down until I started to feel a screw in the middle of the right armrest. With one off, thought I'd go ahead and do both.Note: You will need a staple gun to reassemble. They spared no staples on this chair, they're used everywhere.5-6 months after I restuffed the arm rests, I had to do the back of the chair; the lower back specifically. It felt like something was digging into the middle of my back, something hard but not a screw. Got some padding, took the staples out and... First off, I wish I saved the pictures... But the main pieces is a piece of wood to keep it sturdy with a thin piece of fabric on the back side. The part where you sit, the main fabric piece has a bunch of pockets for the edges of the seat that hug you, which is neat because you can put more stuffing in that easily... But the main back padding is literally carpet pad.. the multi-colored particle padding you lay under a carpet. It was stuff, full of random bits including what looked and felt like pieces of hard plastic (what was poking my back)... I stripped it out and put some actual padding in. The original "pad" was attaching using strings and staples to keep tight against the wood. I used large staples to hold my new pad....I'm still not too happy, but happier than I wasAll in all... For the price, I was hoping it'd last more than a year... and though technically it has, I've had to do some work to it (and still have to) which adding in cost of extra padding and time/effort to fix... I may have gone for a better quality chair...
Great chair
July 23, 2016
So far we have bought three of these chairs in my house. My oldest son bought one and he loved it so much my other two sons bought one. None of my boys are mechanically inclined but all of them put the chair together on there own with no help. There ages are 15,19 and 23 I was actually pretty impressed they put them together without my help. My oldest son had to replace a few of the wheels because they broke but other than that the chairs are standing up to my boys playing video games and being a little on the rough side. If this chair last each boy 2 years we will be extremely happy.Well after several months the chairs start falling apart. One son has already had to replace his. :(
Just Fair....

Let me start by saying that before you buy this chair, you'll need to carefully consider what you'll be using it for. As an ordinary office chair, it is great and very comfortable to sit for short periods of time, but as a "work chair" in which you'll be sitting and working at a desk for long periods on a daily basis (like I do), it falls way short. I gotta say that I purchased this chair based on the fairly positive reviews it received but I think most people who own this item do not use it for work but rather for casual use and that is what you need to take into account.I've had the chair now for three days and it is functional but after the first few hours working at my desk, I started to experience progressive lower back pain due to the lack of lumbar support. You can probably fix this by getting one of those mesh supports, but why not just get an ergonomically correct chair to begin with? The back of the chair doesn't stay fully upright if you apply pressure by reclining. This may be correctable by making an adjustment, but unfortunately, it does not remedy the back support issue. To sum it up, this is a decent chair for the price you pay as long as you consider the caveats beforehand.PROS:1) Easy to assemble (20 minutes tops).2) Reclines comfortably.3) Adjustable seat that you can move vertically to suit.4) Swivels very smoothly.CONS:1) Almost no lumbar support.2) Very painful to sit in for long periods when working over a desk.3) Cheap material (faux leather)4) Back of the chair does not resist reclining.

Starting to fall apart, but have had good use for a couple years. The chair is really heavy, but fairly well built - much better than most. Little pieces of cement are now starting to crumble out of chair onto floor with normal use. Needs a usb port! Would recommend. Sound is vety good, so is vibration.
Nice when it worked, cushion broke down quickly
September 21, 2016
Purchased this chair for a Christmas gift for my son.I've waited to review because I found many mixed results about the chair breaking down and I wanted to see for myself. My son is 14 and he is pretty hard on stuff. The check lasted maybe 5 months before things began to go wrong. The cushion on the bottom did break down to the point where you feel the boards, the sound in the chair is not working now but I believe this is the fault of my son, not the company. But honestly, the way that things are setup on the chair meaning where the controls are for the sound connections, it's right on the bottom side of the chair. So when my son gets excited he does this crazy dance and I believe he stepped on the jacks that were connected to the chair and it broke those controls therefor the sound is not working now.................I think the company that built the chair could have better placement where things connect, keeping in mind teens...But when the sound did work I will say it was really nice. The bass was deep and loud.So all-in-all, great sound, cushion breaks down rather quickly, and they need better placement where audio connects.
Nice chair, crappy electronics
December 19, 2015
Not much choice out there for Gaming chairs, but my son likes this chair in general. His only peeve is the limited ability for the chair to connect to the audio from the TV and/or X-BoxThe chair only does one - but not the other. So if he is playing X-Box, he still has to wear his headphones to listen to music while he plays. This is problematic when he is also talking to his friends via his wireless headset. The chair is okay, but the electronics not so muchThe glitch is that there is just not a lot of choice for these chairs in the industry.
Nice looking and okay sound but that's about it
May 28, 2015
First let me say I'm not a very tall guy (5' 9.5") but I am pretty muscular thus weigh in at 185lbs. I got this chair after reading reviews here and other sites and figured what the heck. It's Okay. Now, I don't sit and play games for hours on end and I'm home for short periods of time, so I just wanted something to kick back for the brief times I do get to play. Well two months later the chair is still fine but I now have to use a pillow to sit in it or the hard piece inside the front will be quite uncomfortable. Sound is fine for the times you don't want super loud but don't expect nothing grand. It did sound pretty cool when I bridged the chair and my sound system together using an audio switch box just for fun, so I ended up with 9.2 surround sound which pretty cool watching a great action movie in lol. So, I can't say it is bad but it isn't good either. It's nice but the cushion in the seat is probably not of high quality to go to uncomfortable that quick. I say save your money and get real chair and bypass this one unless this is for your kid who weighs less than me.
Slightly firm, Lacking Support, A little Low but Great Sound, easily Setup.
February 17, 2014
So I bought this for my hubby as a gift and he likes it, however it does sit really low to the ground and I can see why other reviewers suggest getting the one that is slightly raised. The only comment he made is he wished he could lean his head back (lazy! :P )It plugged in and worked just fine, all speakers work etc.Comfort-wise if you need any sort of lumbar support I don't recommend the chair at all as it has none and I find when I sit it in I slouch big time as the chair is slightly curved that way. That's fine for many people, just not those who need support. It's also very firm.All-in-all the chair is fine, he's happy with it. I will concede that if I were purchasing this in a store I would not have done so if seen before buying.
Great Chair But You Shouldn't Fold It
January 28, 2014
I got this chair for my husband for Christmas and he has really been enjoying it (I bet the new PS4 didn't hurt either) and uses it a few times a week. Aside from all the great features it came with, I chose this one because you could fold it and put it out of the way. He shares his gaming room with our 2 year old and we need to be able to get it out of the way when she is playing. My problem is after a few weeks of folding and unfolding it, the leather on the sides is tearing. The arms are very comfortable but the leather rubs against them every time it folds. I wish there was a little gap between the arms and the sides so that we could enjoy that feature without ruining the chair. We contacted Amazon and they are sending a replacement so that is great, but we are going to forgo the folding function on the new one. So it is great minus that cool feature.

Buy a different chair!!!!!
August 11, 2017
If you're looking for office furniture that is built to last...buy a different chair. You won't find that in this cheap piece of garbage. We only got a year and a half out of this chair before the arm snapped off where it screws into the back. And without the arm holding it up, the back then proceeded to separate from the seat of the chair, rendering the whole thing useless. The only redeeming thing about this chair was that it is (was) a nice looking piece of furniture, and I did find it comfortable to sit in, before it broke in two, that is.If this review saves even 1 person from wasting their money, then it was worth my writing it. Good luck if you've already purchased it.
Cheap Charlies office chair
July 4, 2017
solid build quality padding lasted awhile but wore out in the arms there are bolts that dig into the soft parts of my elbows causing pain and circulation causing my arms to fall asleep. padding also wore out on the seat and lower back.update: My chair is finally dead it lasted about 2.5 years, the rod that connects to the chair is completely bent out and leaning to the right. Everything above is the same all of the padding is now shot it slowly started to bend into not staying locked in straight and now it is going to the dumpster.
A little over a year and I have to buy another chair
October 5, 2016
I originally bought this chair as a replacement for an Office Max leather computer chair that I had purchased 10 years ago as a discounted floor model at a $75.00 price point. This chair was purchased with the hope that this economical model might last 2.5 years until graduation of school when I could buy something better. On first arrival of the chair I was quite pleased; the faux leather finish was nice and the chair assembled with ease. The base, piston and support for the chair were all metal leaving me to believe that this chair was quite sturdy. Sadly I have been using the chair a little over 1.5 years and the metal support connecting the chair to the piston is failing. Over the past week a crack in the metal has formed directly through this piece, allowing the chair to tilt to one side or the other when sitting on it, which is expanding daily, so that I now have had to switch to using a kitchen chair. I will admit that I weigh in very close to the weight restriction for this chair (250 lbs), but I do not weigh so much that the chair should fail catastrophically. Perhaps a person well below the weight limit of this chair would not have a problem, but I would caution anyone over 225 lbs to purchase this chair. If so then you, like me might soon be purchasing a replacement.
There are better chairs in the same price range
June 4, 2016
I'm really disappointed in this chair. I purchased it for my boyfriend and it was super comfortable and her loved it at first, which is why it's not a 1-star review. However, over time it started leaning forward and to the left terribly and there is no way to fix it. My boyfriend doesn't shift his weight in it, just sits normally and it still broke. I bought my office chair for less than what we purchased this one for, and I've had it for WAY longer than we've had this chair and it's still in MUCH better condition, and I use mine much much more as I work from home in my office. The arm rests on this chair also started developing ridges in them within days of purchase. After about a week in a half they were no longer comfortable to place your arms on. Which would happen normally over time, but I did not expect it to happen that quickly.
Not built for back support, but nice looking.
October 5, 2015
I read such glowing reviews on this chair. It is a nice looking chair but it is not Ergonomic. I do not think the builders understand what that means at all. There is no, I mean no, support for your back in this chair. The seat is quite hard and angled so that it causes pressure on the spine. I realize now that a chair at this price is just that a cheap imitation that will not give you back support. My husband can use it and I am off to buy a good and truly ergonomic chair. To let you know this chair increased my back pain.
Not for gamers.
July 31, 2015
The back doesn't quite sit up as straight as I would like it to, which causes you to slide forward and put pressure on your tailbone. Good for short sessions in front of the computer, but will absolutely kill your butt in extended gaming sessions.

Disappointed so far
December 29, 2015
We bought two of these for Christmas for our boys to go along with their XBox One. The chairs seem pretty well constructed, but they ARE NOT compatible out of the box with XBox One consoles. It appears you need to buy additional equipment to make them work with the XBox One. Considering the price we paid for these, I find this very disappointing at best, and frankly a bit dishonest because this was not disclosed anywhere. Given that the XBox One has been out for well over a year, I assume that is the product being referenced when it says it is compatible with XBox. However, they are referring to the original XBox console and the XBox 360. If I'm able to make these work, I'll come back and edit my review accordingly.
Not plug and play ready for XBOX ONE.
December 29, 2015
Chair seems well built but it does not work out the box for the XBOX ONE! Looks like I have to buy an extra adapter, an HDMI to audio converter. We tried using the head set jack on the TV but the sound was way to low even when turning it up all the way. Called X Rocker on Christmas day and still no call back from one of their techs.
Sending it back
May 26, 2015
The chair came in a box that was in very rough shape. It had corners that were now holes and sides that were taped up to keep it together. Everything was good cosmetically, despite the rough appearance of the box. But i soon found that the chair could not play audio through cabling. I used cabling that came with it and old cabling from my last X Rocker. I could only get it to play audio through the Bluetooth wireless receiver. I found the chair to be a little uncomfortable and small. (I'm 6'1) Maybe it's normal size and my last X Rocker was just bigger, not sure. Also, just a personal gripe with the chair is the "vibration" feature. I guess its supposed to create the rumble sensation instead of the sub woofer, but i found it to be annoying.
The wireless is as bad as they say in other reviews
May 9, 2015
The wireless is as bad as they say in other reviews :) sound quality cracks, even if the chair is close to the receiver. THe speakers face outwards rather than forward like with earlier models, so I blast my boyfriends ears out where as I have to turn the volume up to almost max to hear it. The seat design, to spite the beautiful picture, is not as comfortable as the XRocker2 and earlier models. It seems the extra padding, which is dense, is more of a hinderance. The chair is structurally sound and easy to store, but I can't sit in it for long periods of time without my booty going numb and hurting or my legs falling asleep.I will be replacing this with another XRocker2
Great Sound, But Basically like sitting in a torture device
February 20, 2015
I did a lot of research on these types of chairs before buying this one. I have pretty bad back issues, and finding any type of chair that is comfortable and yet not a lazyboy was difficult. I'm also 6' 1'' and that makes it even harder to find comfortable seating for gaming sessions. After reading several reviews, this seemed like the best fitting, largest, and most comfortable of the chairs. Here's what I can say:The Pros: Great sound, the vibration really isn't that intense at all however from the sub woofers. Still, playing MLB2k14 on my PS4 was awesome with the announcer and crowd background noise. The Cons: This thing is anything but comfortable. The padding looks soft, but it's thin and already after less than a month's use (and not daily, I'm talking a couple of hours a few days a week) I can feel the hard steel bar underneath the seat. It presses against the bottom of my thighs when I lean back, and is very uncomfortable. The elbow rests are so far back and low that they are useless for me unless I slouch down super low into the seat, and they are a very hard plastic and therefore extremely uncomfortable anyway. . In order to lean back and stay there, you must have something underneath your feet to support your leg weight, otherwise you'll keep rocking forward. I have back problems and figured I was just being a baby, but my girlfriend sat in it for an hour and said she felt like she bruised the back of her legs just sitting there. Also, the wireless receiver for the chair only works with Red/White jacks and not digital, it takes two AAA batteries but if you leave it on for more than six hours the batteries die, so you need to remember to turn the receiver off every time you use it. The chair also needs at least a power cord to turn on, so it's not entirely wireless. The verdict: If you're short and you want good sound, this is the chair for you. Seriously though, if you have back problems don't buy this. If you're tall, don't but this.

Excellent for a week or two
August 23, 2017
I've had this chair for just a little over a month and I'm so disappointed. When it first arrived it looked like excellent quality and it was SO COMFORTABLE. However, the seat is already flat and painful and there's an indention in one of the arms from where I rest my elbow. This kind of wear should not be happening at a little over a month old. I've never seen anything like it.
Started squeaking on the 2nd day... seriously?
February 12, 2017
Bought for my daughter, she's ok with it, it felt ok when I sat in it, comfy enough for the price. HOWEVER... the 2nd day she had it, it started squeaking, and it's so annoying and gets louder every day (and yes we tried WD-40 and a couple other things to stop it). Not what I want or expect from a product right out of the box. Nope, I wouldn't buy it again.**Update 09/28/2017 ~ Down to 1 star - didn't even get a year out of it. Definitely a classic 'got what we paid for' thing, i didn't expect it to last forever but a year would have been nice, and it never did stop the nasty squeak. I sat on it about a month ago and was surprised to feel NO padding, it felt like i was sitting on an old wooden school chair from the 70s :P Now, a few days ago, the back support failed and the whole back of the chair fell completely backwards to the floor (and took her with it when she leaned back). I could understand if she was rough on her stuff but she's not. I would avoid.
Decent chair, but shoddy worksmanship and poor customer service from Cavalier Chair
April 25, 2016
The chair itself is great. It's comfortable, large, rolls well, etc. All things a good office chair at a good price should hit. However, the build quality is incredibly shoddy. I have had the chair for 3 months and the screws have fallen out many, many times, and 2 have been lost because they have fallen out so many times and they blend into my office space. Seems like the company should provide extra screws if this is such a major problem, or at least send me replacements when it comes up so close to purchasing (I've owned it for just 2 months). I have contacted the company and they think that charging $15 for replacement screws on a $95 chair seems reasonable. I'd give the chair a 9/10 for comfort and comfort in its price range, a 1/10 for worksmanship, and a 0/10 for customer support courtesy of Cavalier (the seller).EDIT: the chair is total crap. Been about a year or so now, and exactly none of the screws stay in for more than a few weeks at a time. Company provides no way other than $15 replacement screws, which is completely ridiculous. Will never purchase another product from them again.
Only get this if you want to be more disappointed then this election year.

This chair is cheap, and by cheap I mean the plastic caps to cover the screw holes will break on you so WATCH OUT! , by cheap I mean it will come to you with stuffing puffing out of the seams where stitchings are missing. By cheap I mean it says leather but its not.. and most likely won't last you that long, if you are someone that works a lot and sits, buy two... because why not they are CHEAP....As you can most likely tell Im not to happy with this chair and I contacted the Seller about returning it. They want me to pay shipping back for a product that Im not happy with at all. No thanks , Id rather learn my lesson and let everyone know to not buy this unless they want something they will have to ship back themselves to get a refund on it.
Didn't last 6 months
July 15, 2015
I bought this chair in February - it lasted 5 months before breaking and becoming useless. The arm seems to have broken off the main support internally, and now the chair is permanently reclined and unstable. I received a quick, same day response via email from the seller, but ultimately they told me they can only assist within 30 days of purchase. I wouldn't recommend this chair as any type of long term solution, since it didn't even make it through 6 months in my home office. And just because I saw some people ask about height/weight on other people's reviews about the chair breaking - I am 5'11" and weigh around 150lbs.
Look Elsewhere.Avoid like the plague
March 30, 2015
This chair has issues, one is the back which rotates on the two bolts holding it together with the seat. Further tightening does not help. Also the seat is thin and becomes uncomfortable very soon. Arm cushions are thin and will fail soon as they are just glued to the top of the armrest and covered with thin material.Base is substantial so far.Looks good.Chair was offered with a 5 year furniture plan as an add on from Smart Guard and I am very glad I bought it as it seems it will become necessary soon. I do wish I had bought this item locally, with a butt check.I would have passed. After less than 6-months, the upholstery began to come apart at the seams and crack in the middle of the seat. I would not buy again.
poor sound

We can't get the sound to work. It won't connect wireless at all and when we connect wired the volume is so low we can barely hear it. Vibration effects don't work. We just gave up and use it as a seat. Disappointing.
Quality and Service Issues
September 7, 2015
The product came poorly packaged and one knob for vibration had fallen off. The vibration feature does not work at all. The seat also makes a noise like a belching elephant when power is switched on or off. I wrote to the company for support on the vibration issue and never heard back.
Very poor quality, major regret
August 19, 2015
Not worth it. Poor packaging, poor construction, poor durability. I wish I could go back in time and buy something else. The first chair was left in pieces with a ripped cardboard box left on top. Thanks, fedex. I had to return it since there were holes punched in it.The replacement had large furniture staples showing through the cheap thin pleather. It was reasonably comfortable for the first week or two of use. Now all of the seat foam has bottomed out and there is a painful board jabbing my lower butt/upper thighs. The padding has almost no support in the back now. I'm a 6'2" 185 lb guy and it didn't hold up to less than a month of light use. Save your money, don't be dumb like me.

Chair broke at joint.... should last more than 3 months
Seat cushion wore out after a year
January 24, 2015
I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift in 2013 for over $200. Its been about a year and the padding in the seat has worn out. He is now sitting on the floor instead of the chair because it hurts his thighs. He's 6'4' and uses it for gaming. I'm very disappointed in the purchase. For the amount of money spent I thought for sure it would last more than a year.
