Side by Side Comparison of: BRINCH(TM)

It's the perfect size and the perfect solution instead of the heavy bulky laptop cases. I love the little clamshell, and that's even padded a little around where the zipper is. It's too bad that it wasn't made with a clip-on zipper tab, which are an interesting shape, but don't clip. The pockets are roomy and I like that the handles can be tucked inside or not. I was really impressed with how distinguished looking it is. The outer material would be presentable at any office meeting, etc. Everything about this product is well-designed, and I'm sure fills a need for laptop and tablet users everywhere!

I usually am not anxious to give a review but I just can't say enough about the BW 208 . I wanted a sleeve with a pocket and the extra accessory bag and they are not easy to find. This is a wonderful fulfillment of my wish list and more with additional storage on both sides including zippered pouch and you can hide the carry straps if you like. So when Brinch advertises this as a sleeve, bag, pouch, case messenger bag, carrying handbag, briefcase, they were not kidding. VERY WELL MADE. 10 STARS********** Check the interior size for fitting, EXCELLENT !!!!!

This bag was so much nicer than it looks on-line. It is well made and my laptop fits perfectly. Well padded but not heavy and bulky. There is a long zipper pocket with little pockets inside for cards, phone, ear buds or whatever. There are slip in pockets under the handles for papers, a note book, or?. Of course you get the little accessory bag too. Not fancy but for the price it's a good bag.

The navy blue looks like dark denim and is really cute. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the case. The outside zipper pocket lining has pockets for pens or small accessories. My 13.3" laptop fits...just. I don't think anything larger will fit even though the tag on the outside said it was for a laptop up to 15.6". All in all this is a nice little case that will protect your computer in most situations.

The quality is over my expected so much! The bag's inner is super soft which can protect my laptop so well, and the size is exactly fit my 15.6 laptop. Recommend!!!!!!!!!!

I got this case today which only take few days reach my hand ,it is amazing ,This laptop sleeve case is much better than I could have expected. I have bought other laptop sleeves in the past and they always seem sort of "cheap", but this one is different. The material is very strong and thick and it keeps my laptop very protected and the zipper is very strong. I also love the color of purple and which exactly what I needed for my 15 inch Dell NotebookThe pockets on the both side are super handy for when I need to bring my charger with me to class or just when traveling.I could probably also fit a portable mouse into the front pocket without a stretch. It is a higher quality laptop case for a great price. I have gotten compliments on the color (true to the picture, I ordered the purple one) . I absolutely love this product. I have been looking for a laptop case that wasn't too expensive, had a good amount of padding and a few extra pockets .This product fit all of those specs. I purchased the purple color because it was a few dollars less than the others and I'm not disappointed at all. It's not at all as bright as pictured. It is darker and a bit more gray. The zipper is smooth and the connections to all straps seem pretty secure. The most important part is that I feel my laptop is sufficiently protected. I am a realtor and often take my computer with me on appointments. I also bring reports and paper listings as well. This case has plenty of room to store all of that along with my mouse and power cord and it's still not big or bulky. I couldn't have been happier with a more expensive case. In fact I donated a case a case I spend $100 when I started using this one!

I love this case. It fits my lenovo ThinkPad 15.4" screen perfectly! And I mean perfectly! There are two compartments on the inside. One for the laptop and the other for files. Some people might find that they can't put enough files in here but personally it helped clear out the junk I didn't need to carry around every day. There is a pocket for a tablet and I would say you could easily add file folders up to an inch thick, maybe more (plus a tablet). There is an outside pocket with lots of little dividers that is adequate for, supplies, note pads, maybe a small tablet. There is also another exterior pocket that can be used for batteries and cords. This may not be the perfect case for a road warrior who has to carry multiple peripherals, tons of files, samples and supplies. However, for a typical office worker who carries their laptop, a few files and some supplies back and forth to work everyday, I think you'll really like the bag. I was concerned about the nylon fabrication but I've used it for a month now and there are no signs of wear.

I bought this to use as my travel briefcase for essentials when traveling, something light that would fit under airplane seat. It is well organized, light-weight and well-made. Zippers and clips are now metal, in contrast to earlier reviews that complained about plastic. If you tend to have a lot of files, papers or any books, you might want to go up a size to allow for extra space. But I found it sufficient for my needs: 15.4 mac book pro, Fire HD10, 4 files, power chords, charger, pencils and phone. Tucking in a wallet purse caused bulging, but that was just to get through security.

This bag is exactly what I was searching for. I am a graduate student and find myself hauling my laptop, charger, multiple books, notebooks, an endless stack of papers, pens/pencils/highlighters, etc. etc. to and from and all over campus. This bag fits everything in it, and has a comfortable shoulder pad that makes it all easy to carry. I like the option to tuck the shoulder strap into the front pouch and carry the bag using the smaller handles. It is great quality and seems very durable. For everything it holds, it does not appear to be an oversized bag or look awkward when I carry it.The laptop pouch is fantastic, and cushions both my small Mac laptop (13.3" macbook pro) or my x-large Chromebook (Acer 15 CB5 15.6"). I don't use sleeves for either of my laptops, it's unnecessary when the pouch of this bag fits so nicely and is so protective.The color is a deep plum. Not the purple color I am used to, but it is a nice and professional color. It matches well with black, grey, or even brown.I like using this bag even when I am not carrying my laptop in it. The pockets keep my things organized. Its looks are deceiving - it can hold much more than it appears. It's a great bag and I don't foresee having any problems with it!

This is a NICE laptop bag. I purchased it on amazon prime this week, and before purchasing I read the reviews closely. I noticed some comments about concerns with the plastic clasps that hold the shoulder strap, so that was my only concern. Good news! The manufacturer must have recently changed the clasps, because mine are all metal on both the clasp side and the loop side that the clasp goes into. There is no plastic anywhere at all on my version of this laptop bag. This is so nicely padded, with lots of compartments, both inside and outside. The primary laptop section has a velcro strap over it so that you can adjust the closure to keep your laptop nice and snug. The shoulder strap clasps swivel so that there is no tangling, and the hand straps are nicely padded. This is probably one shade darker in color than it appears on my screen, but it's a nice, deep red. If anyone uses this for the smallest macbook pro, they will find it holds the 13.3" model with enough extra space to place it into the bag or to take it out without struggling......P.S..As I was finishing this review, I noticed the back slot for carrying this attached to your luggage handle. Very nice, and the price is fair, too!

Great bag fits my Gateway laptop perfectly. The opposite pocket of the main pouch holds my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 perfectly, it's in the rooCASE. On the left of the pockets I have stacked ear buds in case, and on top an iPod and solar charger. The front pocket holds charger and a small surge protector. The secondary pouch pockets hold an external hard drive and cable, the other holds misc cables, i have a pen case stuck on top. Will be great while traveling. Photo of the laptop area.

Color not quite what I expected, it's more of a tan/taupe than grey, but I can live with that. Ordered a size up from the laptop that I have (don't know if the next one will be bigger), and glad I did as the fit is just right. Seems well constructed and durable & cushioning should be good for keeping the laptop safe from bumps.

This fits my 14" Dell Latitude e7440 nicely. Construction seems good and the padding is thick. I like the additional pockets and organizer. NOTE: I would consider this is a padded laptop briefcase and NOT a sleeve. I wanted more of a sleeve with handles so I cut put this in my canvas messenger that has no padding nor a built in laptop sleeve. This case is too tall and too wide for my messenger bag which is pretty spacious. It may work in some of my other backpacks, but most of them already have a sleeve built in. As a padded laptop briefcase, this thing is pretty great. I could see using this in a office setting when you have to go to conference rooms and other offices and need to take your laptop and other things with you. To use as a laptop sleeve to put in other bags, like a messenger bag or backpack, I think it's too big and bulky.

Ordered this for my wife; she loves the color, various pockets, and the small pouch that came with it (fits an external hard drive well). The only reason we give it 4 starts is that she wishes, in hindsight, it had was a shoulder strap - that would make it perfect. Otherwise, very impressed.

What I needed:- laptop protection that would be thin enough that I could nest it in my backpack for reducing bags at the airport.What I wanted (bonus to me features):- pocket for charging cord- pockets for miscellaneous other related items- carrying handle and/or strap- a color/style I likedWhat this is:- all of that. :)What this isn't:- in 100% perfect condition- actually road-tested by me (yet)I do have additional details and initial thoughts...As can be seen in pic #3 (back zipper pocket), there is some slight discoloration above the zipper. This is really the only thing that I am referring to when I say it isn't in 100% perfect condition. I don't mind it though, because it IS so minor.When you start filling the pockets, but even somewhat before then, the back zipper pocket can be hard to get into. It doesn't open very wide, and the more things you have in the bag, the more it will resist opening. Pic #7 shows just how far I can open it with all the stuff I put in the bag. It's a minor annoyance to me, but I guess it also means the pocket is pretty secure.The above two paragraphs are why I'm not giving it 5 stars.The rest of this review is a rundown of the pics, with my notes.#1: Bag and pouch together (with stuff in both)#2: Front#3: Back#4: Front open pocket. I put my computer cord in this one.#5 and #6: My old Bamboo Wacom drawing tablet fit easily in the back open pocket. I don't have any of your more common tablets, but I'm sure you could fit one in here.#7: Back zipper pocket view. There was room for more in here than I put. Could probably stick my phone charger and/or USB cord in there easily.#8: The pocket I have my fingers in here was perfect to fit my Galaxy S7, but isn't pictured, 'cause I was too busy using it for my camera. ;-) You can also kind of see in this pic the other, same-sized pocket, in which I have an external hard drive, the cord for which I have in the larger portion of this zipper pocket.#9: This pocket I have my fingers in here, and the pocket below it, are pretty shallow. I expect I could stick maybe an ID card, credit card, and a bit of cash in these - perfect for easy access when travelling.#10: Two pockets for pens; I put a standard pen and my stylus in here.#11: Main pocket, with my 15.6" laptop (Lenovo Flex 3)#12: Pouch with ear buds and battery pack. I tried to fit my computer cord in here, but it was too bulky to fit without a struggle, if it even would. If I didn't want my phone charger in the main bag, I think it would fit here too.And finally #13: The real reason I wanted it: it all fits in my backpack!

This case is not waterproof. While most of the water will slide off, some water is absorbed into the fabric. However, the thick, padded interior does do a good job of keeping my MacBook dry and protected from bumps/scratches. I ordered the 14" case for my 13" Air and there's enough room to also fit my power cord, iPad, portable hard drive and a small notebook. I love how the zippered pocket has pen holders. I'm a bit hesitant to carry it around in the case alone. I think it would be better to put in a backpack or messenger bag, but the handles are convenient.

I just wish it had a shoulder strap. The handles seem nicely sized in the picture. I have small hands and the handles on mine do not feel sufficient for the weight of a laptop that fits in the bag. I do, however, still like it to use between meetings but not for everyday use. That is, unless I have something with a shoulder strap or backpack to put it into.

It perfectly fits my 2016 13'' Macbook Pro (or a 15 inch pro); a 12'' MacBook, a 9.7'' iPad, an Amazon Kindle, and all of their power adapters, and a few folders and documents. It has so many pockets that I can even separate these cords into different compartments so that I don't mix them up.The only thing I don't like about the case is that its shoulder strap is too uncomfortable. Maybe it's too narrow, or maybe the pad is too thin, but it is causing me to feel uncomfortable every once in a while. I ordered another set of shoulder strap that is much wider. Works great.

I like this bag and I enjoy using it. The color is exactly as pictured (I got the purple one) and the size is spot on. I like that there are plenty of different pockets to put things in. I use this as an overnight/work bag which sometimes involves a computer but usually is just some clothes, folders, and electronic accessories.The first bag that came to me had some solid issues with the stitching. There were multiple, frayed seams in each section of the bag. I posted a review describing this issue and BRINCH customer service reached out to me to fix the problem. They sent me another bag at no cost and let me keep the damaged one. I use the one with the stitching issues as a craft bag and its holding up quite well!

I use this for a huge Dell laptop for work. I work 2 days a week and I take my bag in and out of client's houses every hour all day those 2 days. I also keep a bound paper calendar, a binder, a couple folders, and some loose papers, plus pens, pencils, sticky notes, door hangers, post cards, laptop cord, and a spiral notebook. I've had this bag for a semester now and it is beginning to show some wear on the inside near the handles but over all I am very impressed.

Great laptop bag especially on the outside. Material is smooth and the design is very nice especially with the compartments it does have. I use it for business and actually have the front pocket where the orange Brinch tag is located filled with different snacks for longer days without breaks and no one is any wiser about it because there's no bulge at all. I figure there's give on the inside so it's pushing inwards instead to be honest however I'm one of those people who can't be bothered to go and check it! I also have it filled with different documents, booklets, a full-sized planner and a composition book or two on occasion rather than a laptop so I can't comment too much on that but it's quite roomy based on my needs. I do however put an 11" Macbook Air in there once in a blue moon and because it's already so slim, it's not really noticeable in size.. just weight.The back open pocket where you can undo the zipper at the bottom for sliding it over your luggage handle doesn't quite line up when it comes to the velcro but it's a minor nuisance though it really depends on who you're asking. As for the insides, my bag has threads all over the place both as stray single threads and frayed looking ones that scream Made in China as I haven't gotten around to snipping them off even after a few months of use. There are some parts where you can tell it was either hastily done or the machine wasn't exact but at least they're all on the inside of the bag when we're aiming to impress whoever is looking at the outside, right?In the world of you get what you pay for, I think the bag is worth a shot. I did heavily read the reviews here prior to ordering and while your mileage may vary, I was pleasantly surprised and quite pleased overall.

This "briefcase" carried a largish laptop, and the contents of my handbag via air, coast to coast, while slipping nicely under the seat of the passenger in front of me. And I did a lot of looking, comparing and weighing before I bought it. Highly recommended.

This is a very nice bag. The fabric and overall design and interior is nicer than others. The front of the bag is padded too, which is where I'll keep my tablet. But I purchased the bag in purple for visibility and because it looks so pretty in the image, so I was disappointed to find it is actually a very dark purple (think eggplant) and is hardly distinguishable from black. The zippers seem a little iffy, too. But I decided to keep it because the handles are amazingly soft and cushy, which is important to me because I have fibromyalgia and carrying things can be a challenge.

Your laptop will fit for sure but unless your laptop is thin (like a MacBook) there's NO way you're going to fit your mouse and charger. I have a super hard time getting it all in there. It's not big at all. If you have a thing laptop you should be fine but if you don't get someting with more room for your mouse and charger.

Meh - wouldn't order this again. The little case for the cords and stuff is too small to be useful and the pocket on the side is also a tight fit for the cords.

This is a nice case. I bought it for my Asus 15.6 inch laptop. The reason for the 3 stars is because the laptop barely fits. If you have any dongles in the USB ports, you cannot zip the case. I use a wireless mouse and I don't like to have to remove the dongle every time I put the computer in the case to go somewhere.

I thought I was going to get exceptional value with this purchase based on the reviews. But it's just okay. The product is cheaply made to reflect the cheap price. You get what you pay for in this case. I was not impressed. Returned it and bought something a little nicer for more $$$.

First, let me say the 3-star-rating only applies because of my issues-- if you don't have the same issues, it's 4-5 star quality and value....SMALLISH- I'm returning this bag because it's [kinda] too small for my 14-inch laptop. I say "kinda" because technically my 14-inch Elitebook DOES fit in the bag. The bag is nicely padded & lined with a soft, non-scratching fabric, but the padding (which is nice) means putting the laptop in the bag is a squeeze. If I had that extra 0.4 inches of screen on THIS laptop, I can't see it fitting in this bag.ALSO, the accessory bag is too small to fit HP's full-size transformer block & cord, even with the cord broken in two. In one of my photos, I have half the cord in the zippered outside pocket, but the bag won't zip- that's the SMALLER half of the cord, without the transformer block, so there would be no way to carry both pieces of cord & the laptop in these 2 bags.ON THE OTHER HAND... the smaller, one-piece plugs for eith my Acer netbook or my Surface Pro 4 WOULD fit fine in the accesory bag.GOOD STUFFAgain, the bag is well- made. I like that there are two zipper-pulls, so the zipper closes from either end, and the outside zippered pocket does zip all the way from one side to the other, so it's no problem sliding flat stuff in there-- a 9x12 manila envelope fits fine, probably a 10x13 would, too.The accesory bag is clamshell-style and opens all the way. The construction and fabric both seem durable, and the fabric seems like one of those that water would bead up & roll off (not testing this, as it's a return.I like that the handles can be tucked into the outside of the bag itself-- they basically disappear for when you're using it as a sleeve-- which is what this would be best for. There are no shoulder strap, nor attachment brackets, which is fine-- I'm just pointing it out.The zipper pulls are all nicely rounded, instead of those stupid square ones that get stuck sideways.NITPICKY-- This bag is a really good value and would definitely fit the bill if I had a smaller laptop & cord, but I PERSONALLY don't like the seams-- not because of durability issues, but because inside seams (vs outside covered seams) make the bag look puffy and wrinkly. Again, that's a nitpicky little thing that probably wouldn't bother 99.9% of the people on the planet. I mention it only for the 0.1% of the population that might care.

The case is a nice color. My computer fits in it really snugly. It comes with a case for carrying the power cord, but it isn't nearly big enough. I attempted to put the power cord in the front zippered pocket, but the zipper pull came off. I had to manually break the zipper so I could use my power cord. I would not recommend this product. Since I broke it myself, I'm not going to request a refund.

This bag fits my new laptop like a glove, and also has a pocket for mouse & charging cable. There's also a slot for a slim file & a little paperwork. The reason it didn't get 5 stars is that the photo shows a purple bag. In reality, the color is more of a grayish/purplish mauve. In bright sunlight, you can see the purplish hues. In any other light source, it's more gray than anything.

My Samsonite computer bag finally died. The main zipper ripped out after 15 years. It has a lot of wear and tear on it. It was my favorite shoulder bag.I was in a rush, needed a replacement, looked at some reviews and saw this was on sale. It said "waterproof", and with all the rain we've had lately I figured "why not". All I can say is that this bag is adequate. Cheaply made, all the stitching came frayed on the inside. Oddly, the bag smells like the inside of a sailboat with a kind of fiberglass smell. No big deal, it'll fade.The Brinch 15.6 version fits my 15" laptop and accessories just fine. Has padding throughout. I doubt it's going to last more than a couple of years. For $33 I won't cry. When it dies, I'll go look for quality computer bag that will carry me through the next decade.

This perhaps is the best ever laptop case I have used during last 25 years. Basically ever since laptops invented. It's a great design, and i love it. Two issues; regrettably, some of the stitches had already come out when I received it. I had to take it to a local repairman and get it mended. Not to my satisfaction as he couldn't fix it well. Looks like their final quality check has not been not done well.In terms of materials selection I have two issues- the clips are plastic!!! They don't look strong and I hope they would last. That's a big disappointment . Second, the shoulder strap is not padded, it's a wafer thin and not very comfortable to carry it, if you fully load the bag. Will I buy it again- may be, becasue I love the design. Will I pay the same price, I doubut.

Like the color, like the material, trouble with zipper. I had this for a couple of weeks and the zipper began pulling away from the sewn edge. I've just dealt with it, but it is an inconvenience. If not for that, it would be the perfect bag.

Overall it is a decent case. There is plenty of room for your laptop/tablet and whatever accessories you may have. I would have given it a higher rating had it not smelled like a "chemical factory". Leaving outside overnight helped but not completely...

The size is adequate for my 12.2" tablet, and there's plenty of room to store the peripherals, but I'm not in love with the fact that the zippers on either side only unzip halfway down. The case I had for my smaller tablet unzipped like a suitcase, exposing three open sides and leaving one end attached. Because the zippers on this one only unzip halfway down, it's harder to get things in and out. It's well-built and I do like the color, so that helps.

Returned because it was too snug on my Dell 13.3 laptop. Returning was painless. I did buy another Brinch product that I love.

Dimensions and pockets are good, but looks somewhat shabby and feels lumpy. Fabric is not as attractive as appears in photos.

Despite description saying it is a thin laptop pouch sleeve it is actually thick very thick. I intended to use it for Lenovo Yoga and it is thick enough to fit about 3 of them.

Fabric felt cheap. I have a 14" Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon and the case was WAYYYY too big. In addition, the zipper stuck. So, it went back.

Only 2 stars because they gave me the wrong color, the bag was dirty on the inside (dark dirty stains) and dirt spots when it came in.... And it was not what I expected! Wish I got a different case :( but the case itself seems to be okay for doing its job

Was in LOVE with this bag when it arrived, and for about a week or two of use, however, it is not assembled in a manner that truly accommodates the weight of the items necessary that it is intended for and came apart, inside, at the seams by the zippers on the top inside. Zipped, it still travels well, but the integrity of the product is compromised and I am no longer using the bag.

The quality is not great. It protects my laptop from small bumps, but I am not totally confident it will shield it from large drops and whatnot as the padding isn't very thick. Also the thread where one of the handles on top is sewn together is coming out and one of the pockets on the inside ripped up the side very easily. It has held up for over a year but if you want a high quality bag then I would loo elsewhere for something more heavy duty. Note that I take VERY good care of my belongings and have not been rough with it.

Lightweight, which is what I wanted. However, the vertical zipper pocket in the front is not useful. It would be more useful if it was horizontal front pocket....the vertical zipper pocket makes no sense.

I've only had this bag for less than two months. It's limited to transporting my laptop and basic accessories twice a day, from my parking garage to my office in the morning, and back in the afternoon. The stitching on the strap is already coming loose, and one corner is starting to fray lightly. I just received my bag and it is really nice, however, the strap is missing it was not included. The strap is one of the main reasons to have a shoulder computer bag.I would like to make an update to my previous post concerning this purchase, I received an email from Amanda who has apologized for the error made regarding my purchase and has advised that a strap is in the mail and should receive it between 7-14 days.

I purchased this bag specifically because my existing bag's shoulder strap ripped off, and I need a shoulder strap. This arrived with NO should strap, even though it's pictured with one on the listing. I am making do with it for now, so don't want to return it. If they can separately ship me a shoulder strap, I'll amend my review.

It clearly says "Grey" in the description line, but it is brown!!!

I am very disappointed! First of all, it took 1 1/2 months for me to get this item! Then, i get it and it's cheap blue jean type material! How is this waterproof?

This is not a gray sleeve as pictured. I received an ugly BROWN sleeve. Buyer beware

it didn't fit the laptop as stated. We returned it 3 weeks ago and have not received our refund yet?

Awesome bag, looked really great....until I opened it. Found a number of disgusting brown stains on the inside that looked suspiciously like certain insect droppings. Didn't want to take the chance and immediately shipped it back. Gross.

Husband bought this for work 6 weeks ago and the zipper already broke. Moving forward...

I like the design and spacing of this bag (it could have been a bit more roomy). However, it is made of low quality material and the sewing is poor (some stitches are already coming off after a few months of use). I remember one reviewer complimented manufacturer's customer service, but that does not fully compensate low quality products.

The inside pocket that is use for an ipad started to tear off after one day of use. At first touch it seems to be of quality but after you put it to use you notice its flaws in quality and in design. You start noticing the stitchings. Whoever did the outside stitching did an okay job but the inside stitching for the padded pockets is terrible and it looks like it may break in any moment. They have design this bag to look good from the outside but broken down in the inside. Please see attached for photo.

I do not like the quality of the bag. Will be returning it. I am being charged $9.95 for returning this item which is ridiculously high.

This bag might as well be made by Fisher Price. Material is cheap and the zippers are awful. Carried it for two days before replacing it. Total waste of money unless it is for a child.
