Won't Find Better for the MoneyNovember 4, 2016 I made a major upgrade to my audio system and purchased a new turntable. I instantly heard an odd distortion when I hooked it up. I thought it was from the turntable for sure. I ordered the Mediabridge cables to test if a different cable would make a difference. They did! The sound that came out was pure bliss.These cables are built better than cables much more expensive. You can feel the quality and weight straight out of the box. Their performance didn't disappoint. Outstanding quality audio cable!July 3, 2016 When I get a bigger place and need larger speakers, I will definitely be buying a longer version of these cables!They work very well and are of very solid construction both for the cable and the connectors especially.They slide into the plugs on my speakers/receiver very smoothly yet solidly and have no wiggle when fully inserted and are secured even further with the heat shrink tubing on the split portion of the cable leading up to the plugs.I would recommend these to anyone! Save your money and don't be duped into 'Monster' brand or any other 'Audiophile' grade cabling! Excellent speaker cable for the priceJanuary 5, 2015 Excellent speaker cable for the price, using it with a set of Audioengine A5+ speakers. Great sound quality, and much more flexible than a standard speaker cable, which is great. The banana plugs appear to be securely attached and of good quality. My only gripe with it is that I wish Mediabridge made it in a 7' or 8' length, not just 6' or 12'. But that's more just an issue with my speaker spacing, and not the cable itself. |

I'm using with a oldie but goodie Nakamichi receiver and equally old and good Klipsch KG2's. Sound is clean and Pink Floyd's remastered Dark Side Of The Moon sounds great. There is a little digital type sound in Great Gig In The Sky that most people miss and is nearly impossible to hear on with cheap cables. Well, it comes in nice and clear. Yes, there are better cables, but, you will spend an arm and leg on those and if you don't have a true Hi-Fi system you won't hear the minor difference. It's not a high-end cable, but for mid-level applications, it does the job just fine. Would recommend highly if you want to upgrade from standard speaker cable but don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for the likes of AudioQuest, Monster or Kimber Kable. Other than that great product.April 11, 2015 Make sure your speakers have about 3 inches of space behind them because these tips stick about 2.5 inches out + you need another .5 inch to bend tha cable in desired direction. If you don't have that much of space I suggest buying 'L' shaped tips... Other than that great product. |

I'm no expert, but my speakers might draw too much current for this particular cable. Huge banana plugs do not fit standard stereo receiver or speakersDecember 7, 2016 These banana plugs are huge. They did not even come close to fitting my Klipsch speakers or my Onkyo receiver. | | Broke in less than 6 months.March 8, 2017 Broke in less than 6 months. Set up my speakers in October 2016 with these cords. Haven't touched them since and one out of the two I bought already broke. Have been using them for an hour a day and was surprised at how low quality it seems to be. I thought because of all the good reviews that these would be comparable to other pricier brands but I was sadly let down. I would recommend buying more expensive ones from a different brand now.(To verify it was broken and it wasn't just an aux, amp, or speaker issue I switched my two speaker wires and the same wires worked. Then did the same for the amp.)
