Took her a while but we like it now - takes up a lot of time
February 3, 2017
EDIT:I've bought so many of these because I love them. I probably have at least 6 rolling around the house (some I can find, some get lost for a while then come back to me) I get the small 3'' size, my dog is 5.5 lbs and is about 6 years old. She is super mellow but scarfs her food so I like a little something to slow her down and keep her occupied. It took her a while to understand how to use this item. At first she was scared of the rolling motion the toy makes and seemed bored by the low output of kibble/treats. I set this toy aside for almost a month and started her on one (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001PKT30M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_EJrLybRMZPT4Y) which was easier to customize into a very simple toy with high treat yield. It uses the same principles though, nudging with nose or paw to release treats.Since she has progressed to the hardest setting on the starter toy so I took out this toy again today to see how she would do. I had to teach her to use it again but thanks to the previous toy it was a format she was familiar with and she picked it up right away. I like that eventually I can add a little insert that came with to make it even harder. She has used it twice today and is getting pretty good at it! She knows how it works and has fun doing it. I had to block up a few nooks that she would back the toy into and sometimes I lose it because she is so much smaller than me and can go under furniture etc.My take away: This toy is engaging, takes up a lot of her time and is my new current favorite.
Working great for my big pup
May 7, 2016
I have a few feeder toys at this point and this one I would put at the top. It is a little noisy but not as bad as others such as the OurPets Buster Food Cube Interactive Dog Toy, Large (Colors Vary). It is mostly used on carpet, I feel like most feeder type toys are loud on hard surfaces, minus feeders like Omega Paw Tricky Treat Ball, Large that are made out of soft plastic but I feel like those run a higher risk of being chewed, I'm on my second one and am careful when I bring it out.You can change the inner hole size with the IQ treat ball which is nice although it has preset sizes which is a little annoying for me, my dog gets stuff out pretty fast so I like to size holes for just big enough for kibble to get through, which you can do with StarMark Bob-A-Lot Interactive Pet Toy, Large. You can't change the outside hole on the IQ treat ball which I haven't felt like is a big deal but I have a 90# gsd so his kibble usually isn't very small. Which brings me to the amount you can fit, which isn't much, I have to refill a few times when feeding a meal but I have to feed a cup and a half per meal. But I like that you don't have to pour the food in through any kind of hole, you just open it up and pour some in, don't need to funnel it in or anything like that.My dog isn't a hug chewer but I still try and watch him with this treat ball, he is fine when it is full but once it has run out or only has a couple kibble left I have seen him try and chomp on the ball (he has a big mouth) and I have been able to take it away and when I refill he goes back to rolling and not chomping.I think I would repurchase if something happened to this treat ball, but I would have to see how I feel about the breakage, if he actually did crack into it they would likely be sharp pieces, so trying to avoid that happening. I think this ball would be great for smaller dogs that couldn't get it into their mouth which I think it even said on the packaging.
5mo old shelter puppy loves it!
May 6, 2016
This thing is great! I'm only able to fit about 1/2 of my puppy's kibble in the 3" ball (top and bottom half collectively) but this keeps her busy for a good 20-30min on the easiest setting. When I initially set it down on the floor she hit it with her paw a few times and got discouraged when nothing came out (the bottom is weighted, so her light taps didn't move it enough to make the food come out). To solve this I just got on the floor with her and showed her how to flip it and roll it and within 2 min she was flipping it with her paw, rolling it all over the apartment! She's not big enough to grab the ball in her mouth yet (she's not a fan of chewing hard plastic anyway) so I can't attest to the durability of chewing and dropping the toy. But after banging around the tile, carpet, and walls of our apartment for about 3 collective hours the ball is still working perfectly and in great shape.I'm not sure why some reviewers are having issues with the ball staying closed...as long as I make sure the tracks are clear of kibble bits my ball seems to lock in place on the final twist and will only open with a purposeful twist, thus preventing accidental opening when the ball is rolling. As for the carpet vs hardwood/tile floor preference, the toy does get a little loud when it's being banged around on hard surfaces. I try to contain her to the carpet for the most part and I haven't had an issue with the kibble making the carpet dirty. But the food does come out easier on hard surfaces; most likely because there's no carpet fluff plugging the hole as it rolls around.Overall I'm very happy and satisfied with this purchase. It's perfect for energetic dogs or developing puppies to get their brains working, their bodies tired, and their tummies full.
Perfect for keeping our Corgi entertained
December 27, 2015
Our corgi is a puppy that loves challenges and we were looking for a fun puzzle toy to keep him entertained. This one fit the bill perfectly and we use it several times a week for one of his meals. It holds just under 1/2 cup of the puppy kibble (we use Blue Buffalo) and we have it adjusted down to the smallest setting to make it more challenging. He caught onto to it very quickly and loves to chase it around the house. As he has gotten older, he has figured out how to pick it up and move it to a new location if gets it stuck. It assembles very easily and is very easy to wash. It has held up to very frequent use and puppy abuse but it should be noted that it will not hold up to heavy chewing as it is not designed to be a chew toy. When we originally purchased this our puppy was 10wks old and the smaller size was perfect for him, now he is around 20lbs and it still works well for him but will no longer hold his full meal so we are planning to upgrade to the larger size soon.
Too loud? Cover with a sock! It's a great food puzzle!
November 1, 2015
Great product - easy to clean, and can accommodate different sizes and types of kibble/treats. If you have hardwood floors and you find the ball too loud, you can take an old sock, stretch it over the ball, and cut off the excess, allowing for the food to go through the hole. It also makes the ball easier for dogs to grab, so if it gets stuck in a corner, they can pick it up and throw it somewhere else. A great deal!
great
November 26, 2010
This ball is great for my two and a half year old border collie mix. I give his breakfast through this ball, and it keeps him occupied for 20 minutes total. The ball won't fill up a whole cup of kibble, so I have to fill it up two times. This ball takes him longer and tires him more than the Tug a Jug, which only takes him about five minutes to empty. As he empties the ball twice, he will pant and go lap on some water. It's good to see he's getting some kind of work for his food as opposed to just chomping it down from the bowl with no effort. The only downside is that a lot of times the lid gets loose even if you close it pretty secure. One time the lid came off completly as my dog was playing with it, exposing all the kibble. To prevent this I used some strength to close the lid very tight, but later I could not open it back up! It took a grown male to open it back.My dog does not chew on this ball due to the awkward shape and material(hard plastic). I and my dog have dropped this a couple of times on both laminate and wood floor, but I see no crack on the ball so far. It seems durable.Good ball to make your dog work for his breakfast or dinner.UPDATE: My dog still loves this toy. With the difficulty setting set to max, it is the slowest treat dispensing toy in my collection(buster cube, tug a jug, kong wobbler). That's good, it lets him burn off more energy. Also since the ball doesn't hold a full cup of kibble, I would pour half and the rest on his regular food bowl. I place the ball next the the bowl and give a release "OK!". Guess where my dog goes? He runs off with the ball! Even after realizing that there is food in the bowl (He puts his nose inside the bowl for a second and then goes to the ball) where he could just eat it, he perfers to get his food from the ball.

Great toy
July 25, 2017
I wish you could pick the color you get but oh well, the dog loved it anyway. I work at Petco and these are like $10 more there. However, I wouldn't recommend any plush toy for a heavy chewer. My dog is about 20 pounds and takes forever to destroy a toy so this was perfect.
Get Your Baby!
January 11, 2017
My golden is in love with his 'babies.' He carries around these things like he's wearing an accessory. When it's bedtime, I tell him and baby to go to bed, and sure enough he grabs one and jumps on the bed to cuddle.
She's a lab mix so I got her the large and its a great size for her
October 28, 2016
My dog loves to chew gently chew on this toy. She's a lab mix so I got her the large and its a great size for her. She doesn't like the sound of either of the squeakers though (lucky me), but it keeps her occupied for a little while. Get one for your dog! There's some bad reviews on here, but ours came just fine.
charlie uglimug bratnick really likes it
June 18, 2016
newly-adopted 4yr old shelter dog likes this toy especially well. long an skinny, easy for him to grasp (deformed mouth) and long enough for good shake action. longer squeaker inside skinny body makes for squeaks just about everywhere he grasps it.will probably order another for backup if squeaker wears out, cover is tough enough that II don't expect him to break thru it soon.random colors, no choice. I got blue which is fine, but will be interesting to see if I get diff color this time, or if blue is only color they have and send.
Great toy, NOT indestructible!
December 10, 2015
These are one of my dogs favorite. It has one normal round squeaker in the head and a lower pitched one in the stomach. If your dog typically destroys toys, this won't last, but our boys don't and this is perfect. The other dog in the house that rips things apart had this toy done in 5 minutes, and because of that this is now my second time buying. Lol
Authentic WooBie
October 13, 2015
This is the authentic Woobie that pet stores all over stocked years ago that only carry expensive knock-offs today. Yes, your search is over and you don't have to bring home those stupid looking "look-a-like" toys that your pet just kind of tolerates. My dog used to drag those nasty toys right outside and piss on them. Now he has a authentic Woobie. Yes he can rip it a part if he wants, but he is taking his time because it took us too damn long to find a REAL Woobie. This is REAL! A hundred stars if I could!

Fun for the dog
July 5, 2017
Not a bad product at all. Keeps my dog entertained for sure, until it goes under the furniture of course. But way it goes. It could use a few improvements. Biggest is having something other than a hard plastic surface on the outside. Being just plastic it tends to slide across hard floors instead of roll. So it really just works as designed on carpet or outside. Only other thing is that I would personally put another pass through hole on the opposite side. It would use the treats faster, but you could close it off like the current single hole. But gives you options. All in all it's not bad as is.
DOG LOVES IT but it's LOUD on hard flooring!
April 6, 2017
FIRSTLY, we love it and so does our dog, but it's LOUD. If you have tile or hardwood, that is something to consider. Our 35lb terrier can fit her mouth around this just long enough to pick it up and throw it down on the tile (BANG), in attempt for more treats. We are on our second one because she got the ball open once and chewed the middle white section. We now make sure the ball is TIGHTLY screwed closed to avoid that, and she seems to leave it alone once the treats are gone. THAT being said, it does keep our fairly smart terrier entertained for a good 10-20 minutes depending on the treat size. So it's a winner for us.
Rolling Treat Dispenser
July 29, 2016
I bought this for my cat so she can play/have snacks while I am off at work.Initially, she took no interest whatsoever in the ball and pretty much waited for me to come home and accidentally kick it for her to get food. Lazy butt.I had to sit with her, take her paw and show her that to get food she needed to move the ball. Now I know she is capable of doing so, as when I come home she has pushed her food bowl & automatic feeder around the house, oftentimes flipping it in a defiant demonstration that she does not take my leaving to earn moneys for her food very lightly.I was about to give up and donate this toy to a pet that would appreciate it when one night, as I was sleeping peacefully, I awoke to a loud rattling and rumbling noise from under the bed. I never noticed how loud this thing is on hardwood floors, especially at 3am when it is dead silent. The cat was totally having a ball with this toy and I was glad that she FINALLY figured it out, but damn...it was 3am. I took her and her new favorite toy to the living room and I shut my bedroom door but I still heard the faint rattle before I finally slumbered. She now uses this toy whenever she wants a snack in between meals, and since she is lazy she will roll it around a few times until she gets a bit of kibble before moving on to her daily 2hour grooming session.-My thoughts on the treat ball:+ProsCan be taken apart to be washedInner treat hole can be adjusted for varying difficultyLarge enough that it doesn't get lost under most furnitureTop dispensing hole always faces up requiring actual effort to dispense food/treatsClear so you & your pet can see the foodCan hold a good amount of kibble-ConsNoisier than I thought. I might have to figure out a way to fashion a soft cover for it.Now this is based on my observation, but if the bottom compartment is too full, then my cat will have a harder time getting the top hole to roll enough to dispense food. She will end up just sliding it along the floor on it's side.Overall, good product, would recommend.
4 stars AND it's the cheapest thing we've ever bought our dog
April 23, 2016
We have a 13 pound Yorkie-Bishon Mix. She is very restless, even after going to the dog park or for a walk she will get home and still want us to throw a ball for her to catch. We wanted something that would entertain her. So we got this ball with Zukes Peanut butter Mini treats (we love these treats because they're vegetarian --vegan if it wasn't for the gelatin).Pros+Fun. Our dog began rolling the ball around almost immediately and it kept her busy for a good hour on the first go. It's like sending your kid off to college.+Can easily accommodate different treat sizes. The internal hole size can be adjusted to fit treats as large as 1-1/8 or 3 cm (and as small as you want even closed completely).+ Entertains guests and kids alike because they are all rooting for your dog to get another treat out.Cons-Noisy. The plastic toy is noisy on tile or wood floors so you definitely want to hide this if your dog likes to wake up early in the morning to party.-Safety. Probably not safe to leave some dogs alone to play with this. We measured the top opening (about 3/4 inch or 2cm) against our dog's chin/jaw and felt pretty confident that her canines were too spread apart on her jaw to fit through the hole. How well this works for everyone really depends on how well you know your dog. We knew our dog loves chewing on soft toys which is why we didn't get a silicone dog treat ball. Plus our dog likes chasing balls as a challenge so she didn't try to cheat her way into getting treats. This is arguably the cheapest thing I've ever bought our dog that made us all happy.*One last note: We actually have TWO dogs. But our toy poodle was 100% uninterested in the toy. We already assumed as much because he never plays with toys (only likes the dog park and chasing birds). So be aware that some dogs might not play with this at all.
Great, but improvements would make this perfect.
March 20, 2016
This product is being used as a feeding ball for an 11 month old chocolate lab. Love this feeding ball. It keeps her occupied for 30-40 minutes at a time. I have it set very close to the size of her food. The 4" ball holds only about a 1/2 cup of Orijen 6 fish would love to see a bigger ball able to hold at least a cup. My girl is working for her meals but absolutely loves trying to get her food out. This would be 5 stars if it had some sort of rubber stripping or coating on the outside. If you have hardwood floors or tile it is extremely loud. That being said. She has picked this up and dropped directly to the floor and it hasn't broken apart, yet. But there are a few cracks.
Great cure for puppy blues
April 22, 2015
Finally, a dog toy that actually entertains him!Lets face it, even the most engaging dog owner lets his pup spend too much time bored beyond belief. This thing works to keep any dog engaged. After just one day, my Cocker Spaniel goes to it even when it isn't filled. We are lucky enough that the holes are the right size for the dry food we had on hand. If you use some of the larger sized food, it won't work. Since it's supposed to be a snack and play kind of thing, it would be worthwhile to buy smaller sized food. The one thing I don't like about this is that it makes noise. Unless pup is playing with it in the yard, you will have to listen to this being bumped against the wall and furniture. It isn't padded, which is probably a good this. My Cocker usually chews through the "indestructible" toys within a day or two. Because this is smooth and hard, he doesn't even try to chew on it, he just rolls it all over the house. If your dog is bored and you want quiet time, fill this thing up and put it in the back yard. If you're going out, fill it up and he should be entertained for quite a while!

Nice toy
September 7, 2017
My dog loves these silly dogs. And for whatever reason, he does not destroy them. It is so cute to see him walking around with this blue dog sticking out of both sides of his mouth.
Short lived but the dog enjoyed it
May 18, 2017
I buy plush toys knowing they won't last long, but this literally didn't last 5 minutes. My Golden Retriever immediately killed and gutted it, making it look like it had snowed in my living room...so much for that soft retriever mouth; I guess as long as he's having a good time, right?
FALLS IN AND OUT OF FAVOR
May 7, 2017
This is just a dog thing. She has lots of toys, so has to work her way through and re-discover 'new' stuff. This has been in favor many times and will be again. Previous dog liked it too.
She likes it
March 24, 2017
I'm trying to figure out which types of toys my dog would like, she's almost 2 years old but I just got her a few weeks ago. I gave her the toy she took it and brought it in her cage and played with it for a few minutes, I think she likes it.
Five Stars
September 3, 2016
This is my dogs favorite toy. The first one (Smaller) lasted about two weeks, the most recent one lasted less than 3 hours. My dog had it ripped open in no time. He is a small dog, a Morkie... not known for being super vicious... lol
Fun to shake around but the stitching will come undone at spots
February 2, 2011
I ordered the 18" one for my 2 year old pit bull and received a yellow toy. So far she's been loving it since two parts of it make noise and she loves to shake it like crazy once in a while. I don't know why but I like it when dogs do that too. I guess for some reason I think they're really having fun when they're doing it although I know instinctually they're doing it to kill a small rodent.Initially a small break in the seam occurred at the tail end but I stitched that up. It's not the sturdiest thing so you shouldn't leave your dog chewing on it and she tore up one of the toy's paws so I stitched that up. In a week another tear showed up in the middle right along a seam so I stitched that up. Sure it's not the sturdiest but once it's stitched up it's still a perfectly fun toy. As long as the squeakers don't break I'll be happy and I'll just keep stitching things up.

Better for smaller or less aggressive chewers
October 19, 2016
The idea of this ball is great, and for a smaller, gentler dog than mine, it would probably be great. Unfortunately, my dog was able to break this pretty quickly. He was able to get it open (even though I screwed the two halves together pretty tightly; he probably loosened them from picking it up and dropping it on the floor repeatedly) and chewed up the center part within a couple hours. I was able to still fit it in place, but it was only a matter of time before he destroyed the rest of it. However, for the few hours that it was intact and functional, he loved it! I have since tried another ball this style (that ended up in the same shape), and recently bought the Kong Wobbler, which is much tougher and better suited for my dog - it's more of a rubberized plastic, so I think that helps.Overall, if you've got a smaller dog or one that isn't really rough with toys, this will probably be just fine for you - assuming your dog has the drive to get the food out; some are just lazy ;) . The plastic is more of the hard/rigid kind, so it may crack from repeated drops on hard floors (especially tile).
Disappointed
August 16, 2016
I think the idea behind this is wonderful. However, the quality doesn't seem to be there. I have a Doxie mix pup under 25 lbs and it took him all of 10 minutes to have this thing taken apart and chewed up. In all fairness to the manufacturer, maybe I didn't have the lid screwed on as tightly as it could have been, but the inner pieces were such a thin, flimsy plastic that it couldn't hold up to anything. I was so disappointed because I think my dog would have really enjoyed this. Don't feel confident enough in the quality to order again.
It's a great concept, but doesn't work well for us
July 22, 2016
Ok, I had high hopes for this toy. My Dixie has some anxiety/boredom issues when we leave her during the day. I have filled this for her to roll around and play with in the hopes she'd stop destroying my house. She does play with it, but not for long periods of time and most days I come home it is still pretty full of treats, which tells me she's not that interested in it. Also, it is a little hard to twist the lid back on when you put in the treats. If you overfill the bottom portion the top half won't go back on at all. I also thought it would be larger, but that's my fault for not looking at the exact dimensions before ordering it. I wanted this to be large enough not to roll under furniture and large enough that my dog couldn't pick it up, but it does roll under the couch and my dog can actually pick up this ball and takes it outside in the yard, where it doesn't roll at all. She's a heeler/jack russell mix and she's small - only about 20 lbs.
Just Okay Treat Ball.
May 7, 2016
I really wanted to like this ball more than I do. I have a super-smart border collie, so she needs toys that challenge her. And this ball does, to a point.I filled the bottom section up with some food and set it down for her. She enjoyed rolling it around on the floor and gobbling up the kibble as it slowly fell out. This lasted about two minutes. Then she started trying to chew on the ball, but she couldn't open it. After about 30 seconds of chewing, she started flinging it against the wall. It only took about ten seconds before the ball popped open and she ate all of the food that poured out.I thought that I simply hadn't screwed the ball shut completely and vowed to give it a second chance. The next day, i made sure that I closed the ball until it clicked. The same thing happened, only this time it popped open within two minutes. I thought about sending it back, but by this time she had gnawed on it so much that it was scratched all over the outside, and it didn't seem worth the trouble.I do still put food in the ball and let her roll it around; I've just resigned myself to the fact that it's not going to keep her busy for very long. She does seem to like playing with it. Maybe she's just too smart for her own good.
Fun while it lasted, but didn't last long
August 8, 2015
My minpin loved this thing! She was crazy about it before she figured out an exploit that basically makes it useless. She is about 5 pounds but she's smart...she figured out that if she takes it on the couch or to a high place, she can drop it and the sides will come apart and spill all the food. She also figured out how to pick it up and carry it around - by putting her tiny lower jaw inside the hole of the container. One of the reasons I chose this treat ball over other balls is that it has the adjustable plastic inside so that you can choose how much food comes out. My dog is small and her kibbles are very small. And I was still able to make it a challenge for her to shake the food out of it. There are 2 separate plastic pieces that let you adjust the size of the dispensing hole. Unfortunately, after my dog busted open the toy, she hid one of them and I have yet to find it.If you have hard flooring like tile or wood, this ball is super noisy. I had to take it away from her if I was on the phone, watching TV, or trying to do something that involved listening. All you can hear is "bang! bang! bang!" as it smashes into furniture and rattles across the floor. The big plus is that while it lasted, it was an awesome outlet for my dog's puppy energy. Whenever I saw her trying to teethe on a no-no object, I put a few kibbles in this ball and her energy was spent in no time.I'm currently looking to replace the one she destroyed but will probably look for a design that minimizes the flaws described above so it lasts longer.
especially if it's pretty full, because the heavy bottom and slick plastic ...
March 2, 2015
My dog uses a lot of food toys, but this was the second one I got for her after the kong. Considering I have several others at this point, I don't really consider the IQ Treat Ball a first choice.First off, it's hard plastic. That means it's loud and slippery on hard wood/linoleum, and since my dog likes to throw her toys, I sometimes worry about what it's going to hit. My dog is ~45 lbs and she has a hard time picking it up since the diameter is a bit too large and it doesn't squish at all.Second, it's relatively difficult to get kibble out of it, especially if it's pretty full, because the heavy bottom and slick plastic tends to cause it to skid across the ground rather than rolling all the way over. And since my dog has a hard time of getting her jaws around it, she can't throw it around like she can with the kong or her other toys. It holds about 1/2 cup of kibble. I wound up widening the holes on mine with a dremel because my dog would just get too frustrated with it.

My 30 pound dog loved this toy! I say "loved" because it no longer exists. He ripped a hole in it in 30 seconds. The material it is made of is very cheap, similar to polyester. As soon as my dog sunk his teeth into the toy, his teeth poked holes into the fabric and the toy ripped.I give this item 3 stars, but only because of the way my dogs face lit up when he saw the toy...he was ecstatic.
love the looks of it

There are worse things to spend your money on.
June 9, 2016
So I've come to believe that the success of a dog toy depends about 30% on how well the toy is made and about 70% on what your dog is into. If your dog likes to cuddle, chase, nibble, hump, toss around and shake their toys, then this toy is pretty great, as dog toys go. They are pretty big, made of reasonably sturdy material for those purposes and have a couple of different squeakers inside to make it interesting. They're also really inexpensive. If, however, your dogs are like mine and like to shred, disembowel, play tug-o-war with, and basically maim their toys into unrecognizable piles of garbage, then this toy is like all the other plushy, stuffed, squeaky toys on the planet and will not stand a chance of survival for longer than a few minutes. I have two pitties and they LOVE stuffed toys. I mean, LOVE THEM. But I have come to terms with the fact that no stuffed toy will survive in my house for more than a few minutes and I will be picking up stuffing and bits of cloth until they depart this earth (and probably for months after that - it's EVERYWHERE).That being said, they had a blast annihilating these toys. I bought four, gave them two tonight, and 11 minutes and 35 seconds later was picking up the remains.....and that's with my kids and I making them "leave it" periodically so we could throw them and make them fetch a few times. I'd say it was a waste of money except I can see how much the pups enjoy playing with stuffed toys and they don't play as enthusiastically with ropes or Kong rings or anything else. So, for $7 on a Thursday night, we all get some great entertainment, even if it doesn't last long. There are worse things to spend your money on.
Great toy but watch out for squeaker inside.

My puppy loved this and destroyed it. I'm not giving it more stars as it was pretty easy to destroy which isn't an issue but the squeaker bulb had she eaten could have really harmed her. If there is a way to fix this it would be perfect. She does love the toy.
Not as sturdy as we had hoped.
January 28, 2016
One of our dogs just loves these Loofa dogs, absolutely his favorite toy. We ordered one here and it arrived in good shape, unfortunately this one wasn't as sturdy as some others we've gotten at various other places and it took less than 5 minutes for our pooch to tear it wide open and send its fuzzy guts flying. We have 2 others in the house that have been here for 2 weeks longer and neither of those has been torn to shreds, they get carried around, tossed and played with constantly, so I can't figure out what the difference here is with this one, but I won't likely buy another. :(

:( Not pleased
July 14, 2017
Don't like it. I have Pomeranian puppies, when they found out where the food came from they started to chew around the hole where the food comes out. There were small plastic pieces around on the floor. Hopefully they did not get any in them. I threw it away.
Not my favorite
May 18, 2017
I have a lot of treat/food dispensing toys, but this one is not our best. Being a ball, it of course rolls everywhere - usually behind something and gets stuck. Since the pups then start pawing at it vigorously to try and get it out of wherever it is, there is the danger that something (like a lamp) will come crashing down. Since it is just hard plastic, it's also pretty noisy, so I don't like it on the kitchen floor. I do like that it has an adjustable opening so that you can increase or decrease the difficulty. I just think there are better options out there.
Wish it were sturdier
January 13, 2017
This is not as sturdy as I would have expected for a dog toy. We have a 90-pound black lab who is not aggressive, and who takes a while to figure out how toys work. We put some food into into the toy, set the opening and gave it to him to play. Within a half hour, he had already broken a piece of plastic from the toy. It's a shame that the plastic isn't sturdier on this toy, as I would assume that more aggressive or more playful dogs would probably be harder on this toy.
Seems sturdy, but very small
January 2, 2017
This is identified as being a food and treat dispensing toy but I think that it would be best used for treat dispensing. This ball is much smaller than I expected and therefore I was not able to use it for what I purchased it for which is unfortunate. You can fit maybe 1/2 cup food in this if it's puppy food. Bigger food would not likely fit hardly at all. Sadly just a day after getting this, it rolled into an area behind our fridge and we cannot get it out so that was pretty much a bust. I do think if you use it for treats you would have more luck than we did.
NOT ideal for tiny dogs :(
January 29, 2015
My little chihuahua loved this ball until she got her bottom jaw stuck in the opening. She was bleeding everywhere and it was pretty firmly stuck; I'm not even sure how I got it off.So... Even though it says ideal for small sized dogs, be very careful with the tiny or teacup breeds. Also be sure to supervise them while they use the ball.
My dog is easily bored, so I thought I would get him ...
December 12, 2013
I received this treat ball with much anticipation. My dog is easily bored, so I thought I would get him a treat ball to keep him busy. I liked the idea that the material was hard, because his two other treat balls are hard rubber and he's managed to chew them up pretty good.So I got the ball unwrapped, opened it, put the treats in, and I put it all back together. I gave it to him, and at first he didn't seem interested, most likely due to the hard plastic material. But then he took it in his mouth and ran into the other room. I heard him messing around with it and thought, "awesome, it's working, it's keeping him busy." Then I heard a crunch. Go into the room and I see that he not only got the ball apart, into all three pieces, but he chewed the inner plastic part that controls how the treats are dispensed. Literally used this thing for five minutes. I'm sure I can still use it, but I'm really glad I didn't spend a lot of money on this.By the way I have a dachshund, so I don't have some mammoth beast of a dog with a huge mouth.

Didn't last long even for a savoring dog
June 14, 2017
This toy did not last long, and we have a dog that normally keeps toys for about 9mos to a year. The fabric is just very thin and not sturdy. It was cheap, so it wasn't the worst thing. But, I won't buy again
Not for heavy chewers
May 19, 2017
We bought this for our eight-month old corgi puppy. A month later, he managed to rip off its tail. A few weeks after that, he ripped a hole at the bottom end, stuffing was all over the place and the squeaker was gone. Not appropriate for a heavy chewer - it won't last you very long and may be dangerous if your pup eats the stuffing.
Flimsy fabric
February 11, 2017
Not well made at all. Our puppy is not rough on her toys but the stuffing on this product is coming out everywhere. I will say that she loves it. I just wish it was made with durable fabric.
Cheap and flimsy -- not made for puppies
June 22, 2016
Our puppy enjoyed this toy -- for a couple of days. Like all puppies, she has very sharp little teeth, and the fabric that covers this toy is extremely thin and flimsy. She ripped numerous holes in it within hours, and the fluff inside started coming out. The fluff is too easily ingested, so I had to take this Disposable toy away from her after 2 days.I've worked with fabrics for many years. There are certainly sturdier knit terry fabrics that the manufacturer could use.
I'm very sad about this product
April 8, 2016
I'm very sad about this product. This is the newest toy that I've introduced to my 3 month old puppy and he really liked it, I think the size had something to do with that. However this is also the first and only toy that he's managed to destroy. It did last about a week for us but I wouldn't buy it again. I'm just so bummed because he really did like it and now it's going in the trash.
Doesn't last even with a gentle dog
June 4, 2015
Just threw ours out. This belonged to our VERY gentle-on-toys small dog. She played with it for maybe a total of about 15 minutes and one of the ears was hanging off by its threads. I removed it and sewed the hole in the head closed. She ignored it for many days, then rediscovered it and played with it for about 10 minutes, and I find the second ear on the floor. She hadn't been chewing on the ears or anything. Not good. We don't usually have problems with the Loofa line, but this particular one I'd stay away from. If my little dog - who never destroys toys in any way - could have the thing falling apart so quickly, forget about it with a more toy-intense dog.

Dangerous product--do not buy
June 9, 2017
Dangerous hard plastic ribbing along middle chipped off after a couple of weeks. We're watching our dog for adverse effects, since she obviously ingested some of the sharp slivered plastic. We only gave the toy to her for short periods of time so she couldn't chew on the ball, but even then pieces broke off. This product should be made of rubber and would be much safer.
Would NOT recommend for strong chewers/smart dogs
March 10, 2017
Bought to entertain our strong chewer - a staffie puppy. Within a few days, she had figured it out, twisted the ball apart, and had destroyed the divider and eaten the plastic pieces. Although it seemed good in theory, it did not stay together and just ended up being destroyed and eaten. I would stick with a kong or more durable puzzle toy to keep strong chewing dogs entertained.
Not suited for puppies
August 16, 2016
The smallest size is still too big for small dogs. Definitely not suitable for puppies since it is a hard plastic ball that a puppy can't chew. My dog didn't pay any attention to it even though it was full of treats.
My poor girl.
May 15, 2016
I bought this item for my two yorkie puppies. Unfortunately one of them got her jaw lodged inside the top opening and had to be taken to the emergency room where she was sedated and had the toy removed. I sent the company an email and they promptly got back to me and were very nice. They reimbursed me for the vet bill and also sent me a box full of chewable toys, dog bowls and doggie bags. I still wish they advertised this toy better for larger dogs, I am happy with the outcome and most importantly, my puppy had no damage to her jaw and is doing just fine.
NOT FOR SMALL DOGS! DO NOT PURCHASE!
February 18, 2016
This toy is definitely not for small dogs. Just like other buyers, my small one year old shih tzus bottom teeth got stuck in the small opening. Between her bottom lip and teeth being stuck in the opening there was no easy way of taking it out. Had to take her to the vet to have her put under to be able to cut the toy and remove. Seeing her under all of that stress has been the worst experience had with her so far. This toy should not be advertised as being perfect for small dogs because well obviously it isn't. There's already a couple cases of other pet owners who have experienced it. Seller should have a warning and should remove the bit where it says it's perfect for small dogs since it's highly misleading.
Do not buy for toy sized dogs.
August 25, 2015
Bought for my Yorkie. Within 8 hours of him receiving this he got his jaw severely stuck. We had to use bolt cutters and a drill to remove it, and the plastic was so thick it took 45 minutes to remove.

Ripped apart during first play with puppies
August 23, 2017
Only lasted our two puppies through one play session before being ripped open. We had one similar that lasted a few weeks, so maybe this one just had poor stitching? Disappointed.
Not for a large dog
July 17, 2017
Not durable for large dog. Unfortunately only last a few hours. My dog shredded it. Not recommended for a large dog.
My dog enjoyed tearing them up though
July 8, 2017
Tried out the loofas you can get at petsmart. Bought a few from here. They are completely different quality. These are cheap and tawdry. My dog enjoyed tearing them up though. That's why I bought them for the price.
don't buy
February 9, 2017
I received a yellow toy and I'm not liking that I couldn't choose colors. I will post how long the toy last later. I usually buy Kong toys but this seemed like a good deal. This toy only lasted a few hours and my puppy easily ripped the head off. Not worth it.
SAVE YOUR MONEY..they rip open right away
August 24, 2015
Horrible! I purchased two of these.BOTH heads ripped open after about 15 minutes. On one, the body seam also started ripping. They have a squeaker in the head, and one in body. My pup is 21 pounds. He LOVES squeaky toys... this toy is cheaply made..why put a squeaker in the head if it is not durable enough to withstand a dog squeaking it?UPDATE - Amazon customer service was great - they did replace these free of charge - we will see how the new ones hold up!!
My puppy destroyed this within 10 minutes...
March 30, 2014
I purchased this for our four-month old German Sheperd puppy - and he loved it! It is long, fuzzy, and makes a cute noise! Unfortunately, he was able to chew a large hole in it and rip out the stuffing within 10 minutes. This is the first toy that he has destroyed - but the others have been much more expensive "Kong" stuffed animals - so I guess you get what you pay for! But now I know - I would rather pay more to have something that will last than buy something cheap and throw it away almost immediately.I bought 2 Kong teddy bears at Petco - they were about 3 times more expensive than this toy - but my puppy has had them for 3 weeks and they have held up nicely. I would not recommend this product - poorly constructed - and it is a dog toy - it should be made to withstand yanking and some chewing.Save your money and put it towards a better toy.
