Great camera!!
March 29, 2017
I've been wanting to get into photography for a few years now and this is a great starter camera. The bundle is a little overpriced though. In hindsight, I would have ordered the camera separately from the accessories that I wanted or a better bundle. I thought this came with rechargeable batteries and a bigger sd card, but that's my mistake. Other than that, I have no complaints!! I'm enjoying my new hobby.

I'm SO satisfied with this camera. I fell in love with it instantly. It's small and comfortable in my hand, the quality is great and all of the added accessories help as well.

I have been Looking for a step up camera from the Kodak Easy Shots. I have two of them. This is more professional looking. It was a damaged box sale. But the camera had been tested and repackaged. It arrive fast and in excellent condition. Looks great, feels good. I was immediately impressed with the big ole view screen. Crystal clear. I bought a 16gig card for it and on mid range it's show 5,000 pictures storage. I'm 63 don't think I've taken that many in my life.Crisp clean pictures. I sell Custom cars and use a laser printer to make catalogs of my cars. The pictures un-touched using the auto setting on the camera look better than reality. With all the self filtering it does. As I learn more I'll add to this review. But It came Thursday and it's better today Saturday than it was then.Oh get the new nicad no memory batteries, or go lithum. It deserves them.May 12, Update:I've made a couple of trips searching for classic cars. I have been using the Kodak Easy Shot I think. Been using two of them for nearly 10 yrs. I cannot remember their names now.... This camera has made me for even their names. It's better than I thought.
The L330 didn't dissapoint
May 7, 2015
The last nice camera I had was a Nikon D50 but it uses "film". Wanting to go digital I started doing my research. Right off I eliminated DSLR's because of price. With kids and grandkids grown I don't shoot in the quantity or quality of the D50. I chanced the L330 would have the right balance of bells & whistles without breaking the bank. It was a chance that paid off.I've only had it a short time but I don't think I will ever use all it has to offer. Incredibly easy to learn. A total rookie could be shooting nicely within 1 hour of it arriving.Overall, a very nice camera for a beginner or for older folks such as myself that are toning down.
An Amazing Camera. Great Value.
March 23, 2015
This camera is light and perfect for me. It is so easy to use that it hardly requires instructions; especially for those who don't read instructions, though I recomnend that you do! The wide angle is enough to satisfy this amateur, but creative, photographer. It takes crisp and clear photos. If you're looking for a great camera that doesn't break your pocket book, this one is definitely for you. It is for me.

Fantastic!
February 10, 2015
I LOVE my new Nikon Coolpix camera!! My last camera was the Canon Powershot A495. I could NOT believe the difference in quality of the pictures. This one takes noticeably clearer shots. The features are easy to understand...didn't even need to read the manual. I haven't had to change the batteries yet, and with my old Canon, I would have had to by now. Sooo happy I got this!

Great camera, Lacking some components.
February 25, 2016
This camera is amazing for beginners of any level. The zoom is great, the video quality is amazing, and the material is very good and sturdy for the price. Of course there are better cameras out there for hundreds more dollars, but this one is well worth it's price. I would give it a higher rating but it's missing an SDHC card and the cord to connect the camera to a PC. If you are a beginner and want to buy a digital SLR camera, I recommend this one. It's simple enough to use, but very effective.
Good quality pictures.
September 8, 2015
I haven't used it a ton yet, but so far so good. I like the clarity of the photos I've taken to this point. I think I'm going to really like it. The only thing I wish was better were the instructions. They are very basic and not that useful if you want to know more abuot the features. It's easy to figure out, but I would like a better manual since I'm not very photo-knowledgeable. Also, the strap doesn't stay secure. It fell off from around my neck twice, so I went out to buy a new one. Those two things aside, the camera has worked well for me so far.

Nice point and shoot with a larger lens aperture then most this size. Very simple to use. Light weight and easy to hold on to. Cons: no digital filters in the unit and no application to add a physical filter. Some pictures tend to be over exposed so take a few shots to get the ambience you want. It will serve us well as a back up for our Pentax SLR digital. I would advise looking for an alternative case from the one associated with this item. Go to Best Buy and match something better.
Great zoom range and good low light capability but auto-focus is quite slow
June 5, 2015
I bought this camera for the very good zoom lens builtin. Have used other cameras and been disappointed by their zoom capability. This one, when zoomed all the way out (default setting when turned on) is a lot wider angle than most, so is great indoors when wanting to include as many people in a photo as possible. It's also great for wide-angle photos of subjects in nature. Recently took it to the Grand Canyon and the photos from that trip are spectacular. Zooming in brings a subject a LOT closer and makes many photos which would look stupid in other cameras look wonderful with the L330. When zooming all the way in, the camera needs to be steadied against a solid object like a tree, a car, a post, etc. If you try to free-hand when zoomed in all the way, you will be disappointed because you will jitter the camera and blur the picture. When attempting to zoom in or out just a little bit, I find it difficult because the electronic control tends to overdo it. A knob to twist would be better than a lever to hold, but that's probably a feature for a more expensive camera. My one true gripe with this camera is the slowness of its auto-focus. It is nearly impossible to capture an action photo because, no matter when you press the shutter release, the camera will wait until you've missed the action then it will snap the picture. Often it simply gives up and takes an out-of-focus picture which is even more disappointing. Yes, I know I can get it to focus ahead of time my pressing the shutter release down half-way and holding it there then snap the picture at the proper time by pressing it down the rest of the way. I do that all the time. But often there are shots you just can't prepare for. If I could lock the focus at infinite and disable auto-focus, then I wouldn't miss any of those kinds of shots. Again, probably a feature for a more expensive camera. This camera also does quite well in low light situations. I've done direct comparisons of this camera with other brands and been impressed. Once again, you've got to be prepared to brace the camera against something solid because in low light the shutter stays open a loooooong time. You'll blur the picture if the camera isn't suitably braced. So overall I am quite impressed with the camera. I give it 4 stars.
A Step Up from Canon PowerShot
April 25, 2015
Its better than just the average point and click digital cameras. My Canon 16 Megapixel went on the blink again, so I decided to get this one. I felt this is an upgrade. The picture quality is much better- and sort of a hybrid of digital and film camera in terms of quality. I find much less distortion than on my Canon Camera. The pictures are of course not as professional looking as a DSLR. But this is not DSLR. And for the price, it takes a really good picture. I am really glad I got this one, as I didn't want to get an expensive model, but just a decent digital camera for taking regular pictures.

She let me know in a nice way that her $600 cell phone took better pictures
January 20, 2016
I gave this camera as a gift to my 12 year old granddaughter. She really wanted something special because she is a gifted child, and probably would use it to expand her creative talents. I couldn't afford a real expensive camera, so this is what she got. She let me know in a nice way that her $600 cell phone took better pictures. Sorry, that's all I can tell you about my buying experience.

January 18, 2016
The camera is great but the equipment it came with not so much. The mini tripod broke off the first use and I will never be able to attach another adapter to that port thanks to the cheapness of quality for the extra products.

it's not that easy to use
April 6, 2016
Not something I would buy again...it's not that easy to use, it takes longer than I would like to boot up and between photos and it doesn't do that great with low light and action shots (which is why I bought it.) But it's also inexpensive and a convenient size, so I guess it just depends on what you like...for me, this camera spends it's time in a drawer while I continue to use my phone...
I will step up another $200 to satisfy my lenticular desire
October 19, 2015
Just a tad too simple for serious pics but delivers a clear image. Next time, I will step up another $200 to satisfy my lenticular desire. With that said, wonderful point and shoot cam. The adage is true, "we get what we pay for". BTW/FYI: The Amazon rating system kept me from giving Nikon a three point five. It's a decent camera.

September 3, 2015
I bought this to use for work. I needed a camera that could handle multiple shooting situations - bright light, low light, indoor/outdoor etc. This camera takes nice pictures, and actually does a nice job of picking up light in low light situations. However, when a flash is needed, it may or may not flash when taking a picture. I have, on many, many occasions, tried to take a picture in a dark room using the flash and wound up taking 2-3 pictures of a dark room due to the flash not working. Then, I turn on the light in the room and, of course, the flash will go off on the next picture. Also, you will need to purchase rechargeable AA batteries as this does not use a battery "pack". It also does not charge the batteries when connected to the computer like previous cameras I have owned. I assume this is due to it using AA batteries and not the pack.
Cool pix L330...a beginner camera, okay for the price
August 6, 2015
This was a refurbished camera & its just like new! Thank you Cameta Cameras. For the price, (I paid around $100), it's a pretty good camera. But I could have just bought a regular looking digital camera. I thought I was getting something extra special & this is not. The zoom lens doesn't go that far before it gets blurry. For some pics, my iPhone does better than this camera. I had a cannon elph before & was more pleased with it. Not a bad camera for what I paid, just wished I'd purchased something else.

July 13, 2015
I have had this camera for a month now. it's not suited for what I needed it but I will keep it. if you are using a tripod it's ok, but on hand with zoom set at more than 2x it more likely than not captures a badly blurry shot. if I wanted to put some numbers on it, one out of 5 shots are focused.my humble no brand phone camera does a better job. I am a private pilot and use it in small airplanes which most of the time have a bit of vibration in the cockpit, to be fair. but under same conditions my Blu studio's pics are much more focused! I think unless you are a professional photographer and ready to pay north of couple of grand you are better sticking with your reliable phone camera.
Good, but...........
April 6, 2015
Camera is nice, but instructions for use and using it are not real good. First, the software CD that came with it to put the pictures on a computer didn't install properly. Fortunately, the Nikon website had an updated version and I downloaded it. It worked fine. There are many settings for picture taking that are minimally defined in the camera instructions. I am still trying different combinations, especially for action shots. Keeping the focus and shutter speed correct are a real challenge. The images themselves, when I happen to fall into the correct settings are very good. Good color and sharpness. Just can't seem to get it consistently. Seems like it shouldn't be this hard to get quality pictures. I've used other cameras (Canon PowerShot) that are easier to use and provide acceptable quality pictures with much less effort.

Just got my camera, Nikon Coolpix L340. Said it would have batteries with it and strap and USB cord. Didn't get any of that with the camera. Only camera and cap.

Really kind of awful. Very slow camera...missed many photo opportunities. Too bulky to travel with for the quality. We ended up using our iphone on the trip because it actually took better photos.
Poor Focus
January 3, 2016
Maybe I got a dud, but this camera takes slightly fuzzy to very blurry pictures unless everyone is absolutely still. During the school Halloween parade, it took a very long time to focus and take pictures of the moving students. Usually by the time it focused the moment was long gone and the picture it did take was blurry. If I zoom in all the way (at a band concert, for instance) the viewfinder is completely blurred, and often takes so long to focus that the screen goes black. I was asked to take pictures of a basketball game, and the pictures are so blurry that I'm embarrassed. It has not been a good camera for me, both in dark and even bright light. I bought it for about $139 last April, and it's so bad that I'm reluctantly considering buying a new camera. If you care about preserving memories, these pictures are unacceptable.
Meh...
August 13, 2015
A few of the functions started messing up 2 months in so i recommend saving up a little more. It takes nice pics and all but I do not think this price belongs with this camera. Also the spring that hold the cap on broke and sometimes it has a hard time focusing in on objects. It has a hard time capturing moving objects which i think is it biggest flaw of all.
Not happy with this product. Fast ship though.
July 29, 2015
Haven't gotten any clear or vivid pictures with this camera since I bought it so don't even attempt to use it anymore. Never figured out what the issue was. Disappointed. Continue to use my iphone.
Disappointing Camera
April 5, 2015
Normally I don't write reviews of products but I was really disappointed by this camera. I bought it two weeks ago and went to use it on Easter Sunday. It worked for about and hour and then it went into sleep mode. When i pressed the button to wake it up it was just a black screen with the message of please turn camera off and take lens cover off. The lens cover was off. I had to use my cell phone to take pictures of the rest of Easter Sunday. This is not the quality I have come to expect from Nikon. The last two camera I have bought from them have been defective. I think it is time to switch brands.

we couldn't get this camera to take a better picture than our cell phones. even on still items . We returned it after trying to get a decent picture for about a hour . Maybe it was user error? This camera was purchased for work purposes to take pictures of certain components. It went from it's box to a new camera bag which was hand carried with all my other electronic equipment to my place of employment. The very first time it was switched on, the lens zoomed out and in four times then switched it's self off with an error message on the screen saying "Turn the camera off, remove the lens cap and turn the camera on".This has happened every time I have tried to switch the camera on and I have found no way to resolve the issue other than to have it repaired under warranty.I expected so much more from a new Nikon camera, what a piece of junk.
