I have had them for over a year now, and they still look & feel brand new. These are so worth the price, and a great investment. Great cutting boards! December 5, 2016 I would love to have the room to have a big, bamboo, portable, chopping block in my kitchen, but space is very limited in my kitchen. So, I had to do a little different and that's why I purchased this. These are great for chopping and I don't have to worry about dulling my knives on them. I've tried other cutting boards, but these are the best that I've found. When chopping watery foods: around the edge of the board there is a place the liquid can run off in and there is no worries of the liquid getting all over the counter-top. I am very pleased with my purchase. Nice but require special care June 13, 2016 We like the cutting boards, although the largest one is not as big as expected. Make note of the measurements. Also, it is recommended to wipe them dry immediately after washing because if the water stays on them, it can warp the wood and delaminate it. These can't go in the dishwasher. A GREAT EFFICIENT PURCHASE May 18, 2016 The boards arrived on time and as advertised. After checking around in local stores, I found these boards to be the lowest cost available and it was a set of 3, not just 1 board. The boards are well constructed, solid, and I expect to be using them for years to come. I have already used all 3 boards, and it is very nice and efficient to have the 3 sizes instead of just 1 big one that most of the time could just take up working room you need for the rest of the ingredients. A quick rinse with warm soapy water cleans them for the next job as the bamboo wood does not absorb the flavor of what is cut. For those needing to use a cutting board on a regular basis, or even just some time, I highly recommend this set. You wont go wrong with the purchase. It's great having a cutting surface for every occasion. I pare, slice and eat an orange every day. The little board is just right. The medium one is perfect for an onion or to pare and slice potatoes, and, for the heavy chopping, trot out the largest size. They store nicely behind my toaster. Was looking for a "greener" product and this seemed to fit the bill and was very reasonably priced. The biggest one is a moderate size but they all work well for most needs. Mostly liked the fact that the glue they use is non-toxic. Couldn't find that info for most other boards in this price range. I'm using the Caron and Doucet cutting board oil which is mineral oil free. Read a review that said to oil them every day for the first week so I'm still in the process of doing that. Have handwashed several times already and they seem to clean up well. Overall would recommend, but have not had them very long yet. Good basic bamboo boards. Wish they were thicker. January 11, 2016 I have recently disposed of my plastic boards and I am replacing them with bamboo for a couple of reasons. 1. I have read research that reveals that they offer just as good of protection as a plastic board because they don't have cutting grooves from the knife. I do plan to keep one board for only raw meat and sanitize with a 1/3 part vinegar solution. 2. Plastic boards warp easily especially when placed in the dishwasher, which is really the reason most people use plastic. I have found that I don't replace my plastic boards as often as I should to maintain their sanitary effectiveness.I have given these boards a 4/5 star rating because I wish they were a little thicker. I like a heavier board so that it doesn't move around. They were a good price and despite that I have to "season" them with oil for the first week or so, I still think they are a good deal. I would have given them 5 stars if they were thicker. |

We received a thank you telling us how they loved them and I will be checking back with them to see how they are holding it for them. They were nice once I modified them. The smallest board came with loose bamboo fibers along the edges that could give you splinters and then the middle-sized one cracked by the handle after the first use (followed all care directions, did not drop them or anything) would have been nice if the quality was there. I do not recommend this product. Didn't last - spend your money on a better product January 22, 2016 These boards were quite handy for our regular use. We typically use the largest and the smallest ones. Everything was good at first, but after three months of use they began to crack and warp. We always hand wash and dry these boards.The crack is kind of annoying especially the one at the handle, but the warping is a major problem and safety concern.Such a shame as we could have gotten nicer boards for only a little more cash. One Star Reviews: | 12% Not worth spending your time and money September 5, 2016 I did a lot of homework before buying it and was convinced with the positive reviews. Nevertheless, right after the first wash, I saw bamboo threads are coming off the corners. Could not hold even the first chopping and scratches were visible all over the board. I doubt whether this board would be long lasting. Didn't want to be too critical but it made me unhappy right after the first use. Would not recommend. Learned the lesson to spend in a genuine, trusted brand and pay a little bit more rather than wastefully researching, with all time and energy, on mid-price ones like this. Don't waste your money August 2, 2016 I bought these three cutting boards and was disappointed upon opening the package. They, on first glance, appeared cheap. And as it turned out not only did they appear cheap but they are of worse quality than I thought.
