Best ladder ever. No issues. No assembly. Worth it!

Keep this in bed of my truck. Handy to have for a quick climb. Sting and stable.

Impressively sturdy and well built, especially for the price. Reasonable weight. I had a more expensive and larger 16' version before that was a bit heavy, this should be just fine for lighter household duties, more portable and easier to store. No regrets with this 12 foot version. I would recommend buying some thin 1/4" flat washers and use them when you add the lower extension feet. The included bolt and nuts (10mm hex head x 6mm) are rather small and when tightened may distort the thin aluminum channel.

This Ladder is great for medium type jobs, where a regular step Ladder just isn't enough. I've only used it once outside do to rainy weather. It UNLOCKED & LOCKED in a easy procedure. It is Lt. Weight and easy to store away. The only Con is the Steps could be a little wider.

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas. He needed a taller ladder and I loved that this one is able to be positioned in multiple ways. The multiple positioning option has been really useful for him. It holds him fine with no wobbling. The ladder is sturdy and can take some rough handling and use. My 4 year old loves to use it as monkey bars when his dad puts it in the position where 2 sides are short with a long section in the middle. This ladder has definitely earned it's keep for us. It is light yet strong too. It is easy to adjust how you want to use it and very sturdy. This is a very versatile ladder that I would certainly buy again and recommend to anyone who needs a strong but light ladder.

This is a tall, lightweight, portable, inexpensive ladder. Other ladders are wider, heavier, and sturdier, but they cost a lot more money. This is a great price for what it does. I saw that other reviewers reported parts missing or misaligned, but I didn't have any problems. It was easy to assemble, and works great.

This is the lightest and easiest ladder to use. I am going to be 63 yrs old and we moved into a condo with VERY high ceilings..this is a piece of cake to move around and open..we have 10 foot high ceilings and this allows me to step up to that ceiling and change light bulbs and air filters...worth every penny! Also, u should use shoes when utilizing this as the steps are made so that u do not slip on them..which I love..kinda rough for bare feet..I love this ladder!

This is the ladder for everyone. I am a 68 yr. old woman, and I have no problem moving this ladder around.We just went thru a Hurricane and all the neighbors now ordered this ladder also. It is soooooo light weight, but super sturdy.My son weighs 250 lbs. and was completely secure. Many people have borrowed this ladder due to the hurricane andit just moves around like a Champ !!!!! Could not be happier !!

Light, solid, well made great for light house work or a big house project. Quick and easy to move around, gets you up to those hard to reach areas with high ceilings. Convenient storage area on top to hold screw driver, screws, and related while working on a project and keeping them from rolling off the ladder while working. Past two step ladder I had for last 14 years weighed twice as much as this ladder. Worth the $70 spent arrived quick and in factory packaging. Open and ready to use.

This ladder is exactly what I hoped it would be. We have vaulted ceilings in a couple of areas of our upstairs. Specifically a closet light and return vent filter. I had an old 6' wooden ladder that worked but wasn't as sturdy as I'd like.This ladder will work in the hundreds of ways we use ladders in our house better than the old one for sure.I especially love having the platform.I weighed this ladder and it is exactly 14 lbs. It folds very easily.My only criticism: It doesn't have anything that keeps it folded. It's not a big issue, just need to be mindful when carrying it on stairs.

This is a great ladder! I live in a small apartment in the city with high ceilings - which means I have 1)very little space, 2)fantastic, but very high storage spaces, and 3)no car. I needed a lightweight ladder that would reach up to those storage spaces - I'm short (5'2"). I can easily carry the ladder (label says it is 12.5lbs) with one hand and it folds very flat, making easy to store. And with free shipping, I did not have to worry about getting the ladder home from the store.When opened, the top of the black step is 45" from the ground (my measurement). The orange piece at the top has a nice tray for nails, etc. To close the ladder, pull on the handle tab of the black step. The ladder is well made and I feel secure as I'm moving luggage up and down it. The only watch-out I have for this ladder (which goes for any ladder) is to be careful where you put your fingers as you close the it. I caught my fingers once, and ouch! I mention this not as a defect of this ladder - which I love - but as something that will probably happen to most of us.

I've had my Flip-N-Lite Little Giant for about 6 months. I use it daily in my workroom, and take it on drapery installations weekly. It's so incredibly light and so incredibly strong; very sturdy. It has a wide footprint for its size and the top step is very large. I never feel unstable on this ladder. It fits in my PT Cruiser, with room to spare. I'm thrilled with this ladder, which is not something I've ever said about a ladder before!

We needed something like this, our ceiling is about 15 ft high and we had some things to take care of high up. My boyfriend successfully used this ladder to tighten a vent on the ceiling and he said he had no problem getting this configured to how he needed it. Eventually we'll be replacing a lot of mounted light shades, maybe some painting and tree pruning so this will come in handy. Best price I was able to see for this type and size of ladder. The few I saw that were cheaper had $30-40 shipping charges!

I had a similar fold up ladder before and it weighed a ton and would cut your fingers off if you weren't careful. This ladder is very light and the little release tabs make it pretty easy to fold the ladder into whatever position you need. I got it to use while camping and it stores perfectly in the small space I have. My only complaint is the rungs are very narrow and pretty hard on the feet if you have to stand on it for any length of time.

I am not mechanically inclined. That said, this was not that hard to set up. I admit when I heard the 'click' of the joint lock before I was ready I might have used some blue language. But once I got the hang of it I found it easy going. It is very light (about what a medium dog weighs) and not too unruly. The only thing I recommend is that you wear good solid shoes when standing on it. The rungs are kind of round and I was wearing soft sole sneakers. It was very uncomfortable.

I bought this ladder to help paint the exterior of my home. I found it easy to switch back and forth from the triangle shaped position to the fully extended position. While in the fully extended position the ladder was sturdy enough for me to trust it climbing on and off a roof, as well as standing on the upper rungs for long periods. I think it is an excellent value for the price and am quite happy with my purchase.Some possible negative issues to be aware of are the ladder has thinner rungs than a traditional one, which can make it uncomfortable to stand on for long periods. When fully extended, I leaned the ladder against wood panels of the home while painting. I quickly learned that this led to minor damage to the home exterior, so I wrapped the points that connect with the home with duct tape, which prevented further issues.

This is a pretty good ladder, especially for the price. Similar ladders ranged in the $200 + range, I got this one for $75. After a month of use, I can say that I feel pretty comfortable on it, or as comfortable as I can 12 feet up in the air. From climbing onto the roof, to hanging holiday lights, to trimming trees, it held up. It seems sturdy and well made, although mine has a slight deformity to one of the braces at the bottom which makes one end not sit all the way flush on the ground. Just looking at it, I am guessing it happened during shipping, as the box had taken a pretty solid beating. A bit of hammering and adjusting got it sorted.One note to keep in mind. Some of the reviewers complained about the locking mechanisms as being difficult and sharp. However! My second time using the ladder, I noticed that there are actually latch handles behind each joint that you can just lift to lock and unlock the ladder. Previously, I had been adjusting it by hand with the actual locking bolt, which was a pain in the neck (and hand).The only assembly required was attaching the stabilizers to the bottom of each side. Just 2 nuts and 2 bolts on each one.One day I'll spring for a really nice locking ladder, but for now this is an excellent addition to the shed that lets me do anything requiring a ladder around my house.

Well manufacturer.... quality product.Ladder locks are strong and it holds my 310 Lbs body....perfect for home....use and repairs...I'm not sure if it's perfect for commercial use.....narrow feet....but very compact for it's length and light weight tocarry.... I would refer it to a friend.

Just got this ladder today. It seems to be working fine, but I have a major complaint about the condition I got it in. It does not look brand-new. There are quite a few scratches on it, and it was covered with a thin gray metallic dust/grease. I sprayed it down with some metal cleaner, and gave it a quick rinse down with some hot water in the shower, so we'll see how it goes. I'm expecting this to be a good letter, but it sure doesn't seem new to me.

Good ladder to have on hand for changing ceiling light bulbs. Although I no longer climb on ladders I needed one for my adult children so they could help me at my home. The 5 ft height was high enough for them and they would not have felt safe on a 6 ft size. One thing needed is a catch to keep it closed when storing.

I ordered this for my husband. We have several Little Giant ladders and they are so nightmarishly heavy I can't lift them. This is surprisingly lightweight and that was a big plus for me. However my husband needed it for his shop and this is more for a indoor step stool, painting, changing light bulbs, washing walls type of ladder . It's nice. We have never been disappointed with any Little Giant product, but this is just too light duty for what my husband had in mind.

Well designed & built ladder/stool. Would suggest an addition to this tool. A hold closed device for the legs. Would make it easier to carry. I'm using a flat bungee cord now........Ok but would like a built in lock. Skip W.

lightweight, steps are a bit narrow (3 1/8 inches wide). But ok for the occasional use. l bought this because my other ladder, one of those Rubbermaid=type 3 step ladders (which I use often) wasn't tall enough. I like it because it's easy to carry around and there is an extension on top which you can hold on to for security. However, because it is light, someone who shakes shouldn't buy this ladder.

The ladder is very light and the platform feels solid and secure during long periods of use.The only negative is that there is no latch to lock the ladder on the open position. You have to watch your fingers if you pick up the ladder to move it. The ladder being so light makes you think that it is easy grab the rung side and lift it to reposition it but don't without being aware that the ladder could close when you lift it.PRO: very light weight, wide stable platformCon: No latch to lock the ladder in the open position. watch your fingers.

I had to go through 4 returns to finally get one of these that wasn't damaged during shipping due to poor packaging. Once I got one that wasn't bent or smashed, it works great. Most of these things are all the same. Like I said, I had to go through 4 returns over a month long period and every time a replacement showed up, it was a different brand, but looked and functioned the same.

It is very light and very portable. Since it is light, it does not give me stable platform. I and my employees have been using these for past few weeks for network cable installations. I do not recommend to climb to the height higher than 9' 6" with weight of over 200 lbs. It is just my opinion. You can always look their specification on weight and height requirement.

It's a good ladder but I bent the bottom feet and I have only used it 5 or 6 times on smooth concrete. I wonder how it's going to hold up to outside work on different terrain .... keep in mind I only weigh 200 lbs, so if it bends with me, heavier ppl be cautious.

it's been several months since the purchase. The press releases tend to catch your fingers, and the aluminum is quite thin...it has a few dings (I haven't been overly rough with it) but to be perfectly honest I think if I had to do again, I'd spend a little more for something a bit more rugged.

The first ladder collapsed with my husband on it although it had been properly assembled. However we requested a replacement which has proved ok. The fact that it folds up for storage is great and it is fine for putting up Christmas lights on our one storey

The major concern with a ladder this length is the step. That is the rub..... there is absolutely NO safety net with such a narrow step. Had I been aware of this flaw, I would not have made the purchase. I believe the step is no more than 2" wide. One cannot stand for any length of time on these "steps" without developing a leg cramp. It is, to me, a truly serious design flaw.But, you get what you pay for. Thus, inexpensive, but not a very useful product.

Ladder does not reach the height of my old 6 foot ladder. I like the weight, but not height.

Description for 6' ladder 8.7 lbs, This is not true and the data on this portion is false. If you look elsewhere, you will find hidden in one of the descriptions that it is in fact 14 lbs. May not seem like much, but when you are 80 years old and handicapped, it really does make a difference. People need to be correct in all aspects of what this represents as I purchased it largely based on the total weight. I use a wheelchair to get around, the lighter the better.It is well made, cannot find fault with that.

It's very light. Useful for changing bulbs. That's about it.If you plan to do any work while on a ladder (light fixture installation, painting etc), this ladder is not that great.It doesn't have any place to put down whatever you are working with, whether it's can of paint or cordless drill, you'll find yourself with your hands full (literally) and doing stair-masters on this ladder.One time I got a little lazy and tried to balance my cordless drill on the top, narrow portion.Then I had fun time for next 4 hours replacing laminate panel on the floor with nice PH#2 driver impression.Yes, this one is light. Do you plan to run a marathon with it?Do yourself a favor and go buy a real ladder.

I wish it didn't open as far out as it does, the photo seems misleading. The footprint is quite large. It is sturdy and easy to use.

Very light. Upper orange support bar not in a position you can lean against to steady yourself conveniently. Has a handle to assist opening and collapsing the ladder, but does not lock in the collapsed position. It would make carrying more convenient if it did. Priced a bit high, but I was in a hurry.

The Little Giant Flip N Lite ladder is a decent ladder for the money. It is lite and convenient to use for many different jobs while providing a solid surface for working. It would have been nice if the Little Giant Cargo Hold Tool Bag would securely fit on this ladder.

Easy to operate, cheap, and looks like a great idea until you step on it. Very shaky and unstable; specially for the height it's made for. Pay a little more and get a solid product

not sure on weight restrictions. But I am 195 and it seems to give. Also the rubber ends keep falling off. Make sure to glue them on.Easy to use once you get hang of it. Light but that's why it is flimsy

The ladder was shipped damaged. It was scratched & bent. It was undoubtedly used but sold as new. While the ladder serves an actual purpose, it does not offer any unique function aside from the platform position. However, it cannot be used on a stairway. The most one can hope to gain, on a stairway, is only one foot above the stair. It's flimsy and weak. The black stabilizers also scratch walls.

I ordered this back in the beginning of 2014, but didn't open it up until recently. I wish I had opened it when I got it, because the ladder was actually damaged at the base. The instructions aren't very helpful on how to set up the different positions for the ladder and the nuts don't screw all the way on when installing the support bar. I do NOT like the locking mechanism. I successfully due to my own stupidity, crushed my finger when trying to unlock the hinges to close the ladder up. Cut halfway through my nail and bruised it pretty badly. Again that was my own stupidity for the way I unlocked it, but it wasn't built very well in my opinion. I also marked it down for being damaged on arrival. I would return the ladder if I could, but I waited too long to actually use it. I may use it in the future, but after my first terrible experience with it, I'm not excited to try it out again anytime soon.

this ladder is okay. somewhat awkward to adjust, but my main complaint is that it is very light and not sturdy. when extended completely, it's somewhat sturdy but when it is bent in half (which is the main way I'll be using it) it is very flimsy and wobbly. I suppose you get what you pay for with ladders..

I'll use this because I bought it. But, I wish I had just gone to Lowe's and spent the money for something nice.It's loose packaging that's not taped up well, and the screws and washers are loose and jostling around in this packaging, they are not in a nice little baggy. So, I am missing 3 washers and cannot finish assembly, so on my day off I'll have to go to the hardware store to be able to finish. One of the legs was also damaged and I had to get pliers to be able to fit the rubber stopper in the end of the leg.Also, when you tighten down the screws, the aluminum is so cheap it bends and warps under gentle hand tightening pressure.The locks are extremely difficult to operate. To unlock it took forever, really hurt my fingers, nearly ripped a nail off in fact. It was NOT a smooth process at all.As soon as I have the cash to go get a nice more expensive ladder I will be throwing this in the trash. However, it will do for my budget at this time.

Nice stepladder but I was quite disappointed that it is not level. There is 1/3 inch wobble unless your full weight is on it. Maybe it's like a second or irregular from the normal Little Giant assembly line.

Besides the fact that I received a used item rather than new, this ladder is not about 10 pounds as advertised, it is more like 20 pounds. I had to return it because it had damage from being used and too heavy.

This is a great little ladder. So good that all my workers kept grabbing it and I couldn't use it. Because of the weight and comfort it was the ladder of choice but the platform cracked after about 2 weeks the person on it was 150 lbs dripping wet. They are now out of stock and I am waiting for a replacement so hopefully the replacement will last longer. One thing I don't like is they top should slide off or collaspe on the 5' model. This could be easy to do or another model. It will not fit in a normal car and is tight in my suv becasue of the length. So if I need to bring this to a job I have to take a suv and leave the car at home.

Not good, it's not even bending now, after I used it straight, might be something stuck inside the ladder some spring or hook. And material looks like very cheap.... I don't feel this aluminum is strong enough.

Not easy to use. This ladder is super sharp! My husband cut himself a handful of times using it.

For your own safety please do not buy this lunk of junk. I have used this ladder twice before it broke on me from the inferior metal and flimsy design. Once to fix a chandelier and the last time to hang Christmas lights around the outside of the house. I unfortunately decided to go the cheap route when it came to ladders. But lesson learned. Luckily for me I was just stepping down from the ladder when THE FRAME RIPPED! I should also point out that I'm only 180lbs, so not very heavy. How the hell do people get away with selling stuff like this! I'm so disappointed about everything with this ladder I'll never buy something like this online again. The locking lugs are incredibly sharp and very difficult unlock because they are sucked into the interior hinges it makes it very hard to shape it around. All in all I will never buy from here again and neither should you. Go to a hardware store and spend the extra $20-$40 extra SO YOU DONT DIE.

Today was the first time I tried using this piece of crap ladder fully extended. I got almost to the top when the ladder BUCKLED ON ME AND DOWN I WENT. It damaged my house siding on the way down. I fell and injured my lower back. This garbage ladder shouldn't even be on the market. I almost got KILLED. Don't buy this junk. I guess when you pay $79 for a ladder, BEWARE.

The ladder broke after just two uses. The metal near the center hinge tore as someone (who was well under the 300 pound limit) was standing on it. I contacted the seller to get a refund, which I will receive. However, I will have to pay the shipping costs to return it, which will not be cheap.

Bottom of ladder isn't assembled properly and doesn't come apart to fix it the end piece one is upside down other goes in the opposite direction. Makes ladder unsafe. Not pleased.

Just removed ladder from packaging and the top is broke

Is light and flimsy and broke in transit.

This ladder is far from utilizing 6 feet. There is approx. 2 1/2 ft of wasted space from black platform to top of thin orange strip. It is extremely light weight which makes it not sturdy at all. It might work for a very tall person, however there is no place to even place a paint can due to the fact that you have to stand on the black platform to get any height of of it. The orange bar at top is barely wide enough to place a hammer.I wish I had sent it back when I could. I just assumed that it would be sufficient to paint inside. It is also extremely overpriced from what I have seen at the local hardware stores.

I am very disappointed about the condition of this ladder. I purchased this as new but it showed apparent sign of wear, dents and scratches everywhere. This is NOT what the condition of a new item I would expect!

Ladder arrived with a malformed hinge. This should have been easily caught at the factory level. Hinge shows heat stress fractures caused by poor manufatoring not caused by shipping damage.

I returned this immediately after seeing that each rung is only 3-1/2 inches from front to back. Not enough support for my feet.
