I'm Impressed!
September 26, 2017
I didn't know what to expect when I bought these speakers as I can be a bit of an "audiophile," and I've made the mistake of buying cheap sound equipment before. However, I have no regrets with these speakers - they sound fantastic!!! I had to toy around with the computer volume, speaker volume, and bass volume a bit before finding a good mix, but I discovered that reducing my computer volume to half or less seemed to allow the mid-range sounds to come through the speakers more clearly while still leaving clean, bright treble tones. The bass is quite impressive, and I love being able to turn up the bass to listen to rap or metal and dial it back for classical. I had to return my first set of these speakers as they did not produce sound (there seems to have been a short in the wire), but I had a new set of speakers within only three days of posting a return notice, so I did not hold it against the speaker company in the review. In short, these speakers are absolutely worth the cost and far more - they are a bargain for what they produce!
Works great for 2.0
April 16, 2017
This little unit puts out some serious sound and looks cool. Disclaimer: If you have a high end rig this is not for you. I have a sound blaster after market sound card 5.0 My old speakers were just that they were from my old rig so I went cheap. So my advise if you have an add on sound card spend the money and buy different speakers.

Now my kids rig 2.0 which these speakers are perfect for. It is true that you get what you pay for however if you didn't pay a lot for your sound card you don't have to pay a lot for your speaker. These will work great.
Look no further!

Congratulations on finding THE best "cheap" PC speakers on the market. I'll save you the headache of debating whether or not to make the purchase - just go on and order these now and thank me later. The sound that comes out of these things is nothing short of amazing. The clarity at high volume is great... no crackle or distortion at all. The bass hits hard when it's up all the way. The desktop hub is pretty handy too - it's got a headphone jack in case you want to use a pair of earbuds during quiet hours, and it's got an aux input so you can plug your phone in as well. The top of the hub also serves as the volume knob. It lights up too! So it's quick and easy to find in the dark for those moments when you're chilling all night and all of a sudden your jam comes on and the folks across the street NEED to hear it with you at 3 A.M. (Just kidding, please don't do that!)These speakers, at this price point, simply cannot be beaten. I seriously wish I could give this item more than 5 stars. I may even buy a set or two just so I have them as backups.
Holy crap....Absolutely amazed at how awesome these speakers are....
December 31, 2013
I bought these for about $39 on Amazon. I heard they were originally selling for like $20 but what ever, 3000+ positive reviews can't be wrong. I used a Logitech 5.1 set up for my desktop for my entire military enlistment, and then continued using them at home. These speakers literally blow them away. The clarity is immaculate. The reverberation it throws off the walls of a medium sized room, even when pointed directly at you, diectly in front of you, still manages to give a doppelganger effect that sounds spot on for surround sound. I haven't had the need to turn the bass all the way up, even though the sub is tiny. The slot port creates smooth, rumbling bass that is sharp and tight or low and rumbling depending on what ever you're listening to. It's very rare that you find a sub, especially one that looks like an over sized midrange speaker. If you consider turning the volume knob all the way up, I suggest you give yourself several seconds to leave the room because these speaker absolutely scream. I turn mine to about one third of the way up and it easily throws enough sound to resonate across my entire bedroom; VERY LOUDLY too. I guess Cyber Acoustics is attempting to monopolize the computer speaker game, because this 2.1 set up easily crushes 4-5.1 systems 2x-3x the price of this set. I would HIGHLY recommend them not just to buyers on a budget, but even to sound snobs that demand high quality sound for either gaming or moving watching. Easily worth the $40 price tag. Would buy again in a heart beat if these fail for some unknown reason. I've pushed them pretty hard to test their ability to the fullest and it's like the more you push them, the more they aim to impress. ***Please note, satellite does not mean wireless. They are wired, but in a much easier layout than plugging every single speaker in to the sub. Both speaker cables combine to a single input to the sub, and the sub connect to a regular aux headphone jack. You can set these up in like 2 minutes flat, and they sound incredible.
Great for classical music, but it's not a boom box.
October 14, 2012
How you rate and enjoy this speaker system will depend on 2 things: what kind of music you like, and how good your sound card is.For most classical music with a great sound card (even one that's built in) this is well worth the money. I can get great concert hall sound from it.But it is not a boom box. The low bass and mid bass is somewhat lacking. So if you like to really crank up the bass you aren't going to like this at all.Listening to Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, Rossini's William Tell Overture (especially the final part), or Strauss's Also Sprach Zarathustra will leave you wanting.Timpani, bass, even a bass viola just sound weak and lack much depth and authority at times.Luckily the bass speaker of my old speaker set is powered and has the volume control built into it. So with a cheap and simple "Y" connector ( see Mini Stereo Plug, Headphone Splitter) I was able to reuse it to give me the full rich bass that is sometimes needed. But most of the time the normal range of these speakers is all I need. There is one thing special that makes this really great - The hockey puck controller. The controller has a volume control on top. The side has an on/off slide switch, bass volume adjustment, headphone jack, and an auxiliary input.A short audio cable is included in case you want to plug an MP3 player into the puck volume controler. This is great for me as my computer is behind the desk (but still accessible if I need to work on it).I prefer to have the bass speaker out of the way and out of sight. But that part is usually the part with the controls on it. Now it takes up no desktop space and the controller can be pulled out when I want to plug in headphones or adjust the bass/volume. To me, that controller alone, makes this worth getting.I'm very very happy with this setup. If you don't have an old (powered) bass speaker that you can use I would say that it's worth buying one to add to the system. Do that and you may end up with a better speaker system than you'd get for more than 2 or 3 times the money.PS - Although you can plug the wires in wrong I think that most of the negative reviews either come from those looking for a boom box sound or those without a good audio card.Post PS - I have one bass speaker behind my monitors, and the other bass speaker on a shelf a foot off the floor. Cranking up the bass (and hitting the Bass Boost button) on my old bass speaker I can get desk shaking sounds (and no, I'm not kidding) in games. Just worth a thought. :)Post Post PS - For those who don't know: if you use a splitter ***BOTH*** speakers have to be powered to increase the volume on each side of the split.

Highest quality
January 16, 2017
Simply stated, iXCC cables are consistently the highest quality that can be purchased — rugged and reliable. Reminiscent of purchasing "military grade" electronic equipment over many years, where failure could be much more than annoying or inconvenient. All of my past buys of iXCC cables and connectors continue excellent service, and thus I look for the iXCC trademark when the need arises for additional. Products designed for high quality rather than lowest price are increasingly rare today, but in my white-hair experience, high quality is the best value for money, thus in the end, the least expensive. Strongly recommended — 5 stars.
The PERFECT cable for a 3 foot (3') run. Rare, and ultra quality and value... Glad they come in a 2 pack.
August 16, 2016
Anyone like me with an amazing array of interconnections behind their computer connecting it to perhaps everything else imaginable, and you enjoy having them as neat and orderly as possible, you'll inevitably come across a scenario whereby you'll need to connect (for example) your computer's audio output to an independent sound system needing 3.5 male-to-male jacks. THIS cable is only one of two available on the internet that's THREE (3) feet long making it essential for a perfect set up. I had plenty of common 2 and 4 foot cables, but one was too short and the other too long, so this 3' cable was PERFECT to maintain the beauty and integrity of my interconnections without a single cable touching the floor. I love having cables that are the correct length for the run they're being used for so if you're like me in that regard, it's essential to have a 3 foot cable of this type and this one is built incredibly strong just like the other products from the SoundPie line of products. I LOVE this cable and so will you once you hold it in your hand. Something about the way SoundPie cables feel exudes quality and upon examination, you will indeed see a cable built to exceed even your own standards and ability to self-create. In other words, you couldn't have a better cable even if you built your own. Really high quality and only 3 feet long! Perfect!
So far so good
August 3, 2016
I'm writing a review because when I, myself, am shopping for products I ALWAYS read a lot of reviews to determine whether I will buy the product or not or for comparison with other products. So far I have not had any issues with this aux cord. I got the 6 ft one bc of other reviews, but really I could've gone with the smaller one. I don't have to finagle the cord to get it to work or anything. And it's thicker than the cheap ones at Walmart. Which I bought one there and straight out of the package it didn't work lol. I'll post an update to see how well this cord lasts.
Great quality cable!
September 4, 2015
The IXCC stereo patch cord is a high-quality piece with gold plated plugs, sturdy connectors, and a tough cable insulation that resists kinks and twists. I've been using the cable for about a month and it has been completely trouble-free. The cable lives in my car and is used to connect my phone to the car stereo system (the car is too old for Bluetooth). After changing over from my old cord, I noticed right away that the radio volume needed to be reduced for a comfortable listening level. That "seat of the pants" experience tells me the IXCC cord has lower resistance than its cheaper competitors. The heavy vinyl pouch this cord arrived in is also a high-quality piece, and says a lot about the company's dedication to detail. You just can't beat this product for the price, and I look forward to years of entertainment value. Well done, guys!
Nice quality build with good sound
September 4, 2015
I need to replace the cable in my car for music, so looking at price point and reviews I bought this two pack. I'm very impressed with them. I'm not a major audiophile and I've only made one other purchase of this type of cable, but these are performing really well and seem to be much, much higher quality than my previous purchase (that two pack lasted 18 months). Sound quality is really clear. The connectors pop in easily, even with cases on various phones. The connector itself feels solid, has a nice plastic casing at the bottom which provides really secure connection to the wires. The coating over the wires is nice and thick while still being very pliable. The inner wiring is very well protected, so I think these will last a nice, long time even with our daily usage of plugging and unplugging them. I will update if there are any issues over time, but I'm super impressed right now.
High quality, you don't have to remove your phone case every time you use it!
March 31, 2015
I primarily use auxiliary cords for my the dash unit in my vehicle to listen to music, I've had terrible experiences with poorly made aux cables from gas stations or mall kiosks and always have the peril of the sound cutting in and out after several weeks of use. I couldn't be happier with my iXCC AUX cable, it's extremely durable and feels heavy/high quality. I would recommend spending the extra $1.00 and purchasing the 6 foot cable as you can use it as a dual purpose cable and not just in your car. Most importantly! The iXCC AUX cable has gold-plated 3.5mm connectors so when I listen to pod casts or talk radio there's no static background noise, there's also a high quality gold plated metal "stopper" where the male connector meets the rubber part of the cable so I don't have to remove my phone or iPad case every time I want to play my music (you know what I'm talking about!)

Great Value
May 30, 2017
These speakers are a really great value. For only $40 they sound great and work well however I wouldn't say they are very durable. I got them in 2015 and didn't upgrade until 2017 but not because they lasted that long. About 6 months in the volume dial started to not be a viable option for adjusting my sound. Whenever I went to touch it the speakers would pop and crackle and one would go out. I would have to fiddle with it to get both the speakers back into their normal function. I soon just started leaving the dial alone, turned all the way up, and adjusted the volume on my computer manually. This method worked ok but in order to turn the speakers off you have to flip the switch on the dial, so I was having to adjust it all the time to get the speakers to work without pops. I am replacing these speakers now because this method is beginning to not work at all. I am not sure if this happened because of my doing, I had the sub woofer on the ground for a while and occasionally would kick it on accident and it would it the back wall and make a very loud noise, so it is possible the cord got damaged in this process. I also moved them a lot because I was in college at the time so its possible they got damaged in transit. Overall though, I would say these speakers are great for the money you spend and would definitely recommend them.
Decent PC Speakers
February 2, 2017
I usually look for the common denominator in negative reviews of such products that are rated well overall. The reoccurring theme on this one is it does not hold up very well over time. I sure hope that is not the case here, because these are pretty decent PC speakers. I like the wired pod that controls most functions. Its gentle blue light stays on, even when PC goes to sleep, so I think of it as a little night light for the room it is in.I think the sound is just fine, and 30 watts won't fill a football field, but it is plenty loud enough for any large sized room.Deducted a star only because I am worried these won't last. It also leaves mid range a bit limited, typical of many computer speakers. But overall, good.
Great Speakers For Computer System
October 12, 2016
Overall the speakers are fantastic. They put out great sound quality for a 3 piece set. The bass is fantastic and clear while the satellites put out a nice crisp refreshing sound. I often have to turn the bass down due to it waking up my roommates. I have had the product for about 6-7 months now and the only issue i have had is taping the input from the sub to the speakers because the jack is bad. I'm not sure if this if for crappy craftsmanship or if i just got the bad one in the bunch which would not surprise me considering i always get the bad one in the bunch. But overall i have to give it 4 stars, I'm not giving it 5 stars just for the simple fact that I received ONE of the bad ones.
don't let the size fool you, they rock
August 15, 2016
Thoroughly love them when used with my desktop computer, super loud and clear for being so small. Not as loud with my Windows phone, but still great sound for the price. My only concern is the thin speaker wires. My first set broke away from one of the speakers over time, but I admittedly moved them often. (the fact I purchased the same product again speaks to my satisfaction overall, though.)***addendum...I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it, but the review that likened them to Bose..come now...I own some Bose too, and while I think these are awesome for my gaming and drunken mp3-ing, comparing them to bose is a bit much for forty bucks...but that's none of my business...

March 12, 2016
Definitely overall pretty great. The only issue is the sub does best at kind of strange frequencies. I've noticed it seems to really bring out the VERY low register, but doesn't do so great with mid-lows (like a bass drum, for example). Also, the left speaker kind of cuts out early at lower volumes, but at higher volumes the issue goes away. I've compensated for this by having the speakers up by maybe 20% more than I normally would, but I turn down my outgoing computer volume. And my final (minor) complaint: the cables that hook into the back of the sub are VERY sensitive. Like, if you touch them at all they make popping and scratching sounds come out of the speakers. Consider powering them down if you plan on making adjustments.
Best Budget Speakers under $40!
August 27, 2015
Okay, so you know you are buying budget speakers paying $40. Out of the box, they sounded horrible when playing anything with heavy bass where the subwoofer becomes super muddy but do not fear. The truth is that they sound amazing when tuned correctly using the computer's own sound effects/enhancements along with the equalizer and set the bass volume dial on the actual wired remote to approximately 2/5 of the way up. On most regular PC builds, you are most likely using some Realtek onboard sound card where I have set the Sound Effect Properties as "Room" and the equalizer as "Soft". This set up provided me clear vocals without the subwoofer being muddy. Hope this helps...

Cheap but effective
December 5, 2016
I got this because my last cable was sounding fuzzy on my new phone (Pixel). I knew it wasn't the phone, as all my headphones worked fine - no fuzz. So, I decided to replace the cable. At $5 with great ratings, I figured the risk was low, so I decided on this cable. There was some fuzz at first, but since then it has no longer been a problem. The metal near the connectors needed some manual tightening, as they were loose, but after tightening it with my hand it has been fine. The cable itself is also not all that flexible, but neither is it inflexible. All in all, it's a cheaply priced, cheaply made cable, but for the most part it works. If you want something well-made, this isn't your bet. If you just want something cheap that works, it is.
Great Cable
February 25, 2016
I bought this cable for use in my car. Although the bluetooth capability is great for taking phone calls, it takes away from the quality if the music. so I decided to get an AUX cable to use instead. The sound quality is night and day better quality compared to the bluetooth. The cable is more than long enough for use in a car and seems to be made of great quality. If there was a negative I had to pick out it would be the rubber/plastic sleeve of the cable becomes very stiff in when sitting in the car in cold weather. This did not take away from the sound quality and function of the cable, just a little inconvenient when trying to move things around. Other than that I would recommend this product.

January 18, 2016
I purchased this to play the music in my car from the Poweramp App on my smartphone. I already had a 6 foot cable that I used in the past. There was a lot of attenuation with the 6 foot cable, and I wasn't sure what kind of quality was put into it. So, I purchased this 3 foot cable hoping that it would work better. There still is a lot of attenuation with this cable too. I'm not sure if it is better than the 6 foot cable, because I've not compared them side by side. The main problem I have is remembering to turn the volume down on the radio when I disconnect the cable. I'm happy with the quality of this cable, I just wish it had solved the attenuation problem.
Happy as can be
December 8, 2015
Liking it so far hasnt disappointed me. Packaging over all was good came in a nice little pack all wrapped up. Im using it to connect my smart tv to my sound bar and the sound is quite pleasant and loud! No cutting off, no static, and no wear and tear so far(been two days). So why 4 stars? Well i would do 5 but having to wait over a week to come in then it was delayed another day so total of 9 days kinda let me down not going to lie. But! Over all the auxiliary cord is nice and thick plus the quality is Excellent!

December 8, 2015
This item is perfect for hooking up your phone to the receiver in your car stereo to listen to Spotify, Slacker, etc. Reasonably priced but the main draw was that the wire is not so long and flimsy that it gets tangled up and constantly in your way. That was the constant problem/irritation I had with my last one. The cord on this reaches from the car stero to my cup holder and has just enough extra length that I need if I plan to move it around for any reason. I would recommend this product.
Works for my needs
June 18, 2015
Got these to replace another male to male 3.5mm cable, different brand, that lasted 2 months at best. These happily have lasted me about 4 months and going. The part with IXCC can be twisted around but they haven't slid off onto the cable. The wire is pretty thick, probably helping protect the inner wires from damage. Unfortunately, a mic designed to attach to your headphone wire doesn't like it being so big but I found ways around it. The length is pretty long to use for a phone in your pocket; I've had to wrap some of the cable around my neck when wandering around outside. When inside connected to my computer it does allow me to maneuver away from the computer without having take off my headphones as much, what I primarily wanted from this cable. I have made a point of keeping it from getting run over by my chair or other such abuse. They don't seem to want to tangle unlike some sticky cable earphones I have. I am not an audiophile so I don't know if these give a great audio quality but they haven't been the source of audio problems as far as I can hear.

Setup was easy. The volume control is nice
October 17, 2017
Pros: Mids and highs are clean. Setup was easy. The volume control is nice, the light is a pretty bright blue and could add to your color scheme if you plan right. Definitely cost-friendly.Cons: Top heavy tweeters. They fall off my stands at the slightest touch. Really quite annoying. 62W peak makes for weak bass which is muddled at pretty much any volume. Didn't really plan for this one but I should have assumed it was so at $30.For $30 these are a solid buy if you're aching to get some speakers for your setup but if you're looking for an immersive experience while gaming or if you listen to bass-heavy music you should look elsewhere. For the record I've had these for somewhere between 2.5-3 years and although I am happy with my experience I will definitely upgrade somewhere in the near future because of the cons I listed.
Decent value but keep your expectations low.
April 26, 2017
I'm not sure if all the online reviews from various sites as well as amazon set my expectations way too high. I purchase these to replace the obnoxious JBL Jembes that I had which the power saving feature made the unit too frustrating to use as daily drivers. All of the components of this unit are OKAY and definitely nothing to write home about. I guess anyone upgrading to this came from either monitor speakers or stock speakers included with a prebuilt PC.Ratings (1-10)Sound QualitySpeakers - 6Highs are noticeably recessed. At first I thought it was because I have the satellites mounted rather high - with audio solutions that aren't headphones (where there is ONE AND ONLY ONE correct position - on your ears) its best to play around with positioning since a huge part of acoustics is space. After re-positioning them several times I can positively say the highs are lacking hard as is the mid bass through these speakers. Best way to describe would be that it sounds like there is film over the sound coming out.Subwoofer - 3Very weak, could barely feel anything from these things (purely sub performance perspective). They do an okay job adding low end response to the speakers but because the speakers overall are terrible all it does is it brings the speakers from barely usable to decent.Design - 6Typical 2.1 design.+1 for having a control knob - this was the main reason why I bought these over the rest. I originally wanted to get a used pair of z623 but the control knob being on the satelite was an issue for me since they were going to be mount above/out of position.-1 Why the hell is the 3.5mm connection cable separated at the control puck and not from the sub? I don't understand this design at all. If there is an NEED for the wiring to start at the puck why not shield it with the original line and then split it back at the sub? It adds so much unnecessary clutter to the desk and if you want to run it cleanly you will need to velcro or zip tip down the length of the control knob..Overall. 6/10- The unit provides decent performance for the price but its no where near what the ratings actually suggest. Better than $10-$15 speakers? Dramatically. Worth it at $35? Questionable. Depending on whether you're okay with used or new you can get better performances for roughly the same price (think Z506/X-540). I may end up returning these or just giving them away. The good news is it was a relatively small priced lesson.- For anyone that is just looking for "better" sound than the crap OEMs and monitors provide these are decent. Anyone that has decent audio equipment will be rather disappointed with these.
Almost good enough.
April 2, 2017
I bought this for my classroom so that students could hear videos that I play from the internet. The system looks big, but the sound is just a little too small. When I crank the speakers up, they start to lose sound quality before they really fill the room. My classroom is about 30'X33' and I put the speakers in the back of the room. My old speakers that came with my Smartboard were better, but they got taken away when I traded out Smartboards with another teacher.I also wanted to be able to control the volume from my desk, but the dial is connect to the speakers via a 5' cord (approximately). My speakers are over 30 linear feet from my computer, so I would need to run a line back to my desk with 25 more feet of cable if I wanted to put the dial by my computer.
Okay for price, but...
July 5, 2016
Okay for price, but it's barely sufficient for listening to music on the desktop as the bass is nearly non-existent even at the max setting. Another negative is the speaker wire is not long enough to stretch across left & right as well as down under the desk to the subwoofer itself. The hardware looks to be good quality.I usually give products a chance but I suppose I got what I paid for here and re-packed it right up and went back to my old speakers - a nearly 10-year old 2.1 system that was a bit more expensive, but undoubtedly more powerful. I''d say this is fitting for a laptop setting but that's about it.
It's ok for your bedroom
December 18, 2015
The tweeters are kind of average. The style is pretty standard and boring , but for the price they get the job done for a basic speaker system. The bass is pretty bunchy and is decent, it is fairly strong and loud and is probably the best aspect about this system imo. The twin tweater system is really high pitched mid sound. Kind of boxy and distant. I usually use headhpones unless I'm listening to music which it plays pretty decently. But when it comes to comedy shows, or music I'd prefer the headphones. These might hurt your ears over time. Overall this is an ok speaker system. For 40 bucks it's a good deal. Wouldn't really recommend for a long term 'high quality' speaker or surround sound system for a living room or a house though. Personally I'd save up for something more expensive and higher quality. But in the meantime and for a bedroom these work pretty well.
Speakers/subwoofer have nice sound but desktop control pod is the weak link.
July 19, 2015
When it was functioning, this product had a really nice sound. I was pleased with the convenience and features of the control pod. However, after about five months of use, the headphone jack on the pod ceased to work properly. When plugged into the pod, I could only get stereo sound on my headphones if I played with the headphone jack--jiggling from one side to the other. Note: my headphones worked perfectly when I plugged them directly into the soundcard jack on the back of the computer. About a month after that, I found that sound was emanating from only one speaker. This could not be rectified. I attribute both of these issues to either a loose connection in the pod or the wires leading from the pod to the sound card jack. Granted, the pod did get some abuse: it fell off my desk a few times landing on the laminate tile floor. Unfortunately, the pod serves as the device's only volume controls (none on speakers) as well as the controls for the subwoofer (control pod wires connect to subwoofer and sound card jack). If the pod and subwoofer are bypassed by plugging satellite speakers directly into sound card jack, I found you can minimally control the volume from the desktop but the max volume is extremely low and you defeat the purpose of having purchased a three-piece speaker system. At $40, it was not a huge investment, but I was hoping to get more than 5-6 months of use out of the product before it went belly-up. My advice: have the pod situated on the desk where it's stationary and not prone to falling or getting knocked around.

Good price, just OK cable
September 5, 2017
This aux cable is not bad, I think there may be better cables around. For the price, it's a good buy. It's inferior to a USB connector as far as sound but my new Android based phone won't connect to my car stereo through USB so this was the only other option I found. I hear a static noise in the background and in between songs. To me, it's no worse than low-quality radio reception. On the softer songs the noise is a little annoying but if the song is loud enough I don't really notice. Again, for the price, it's a good buy and gets my music playing from my phone while I search for better options.
Just your average fair priced audio cable from China
February 13, 2017
I purchased this audio cable a week ago and was making a comparison to another cable for the same length for $8. I like the metal ends and the construction of the cable. Its more than long enough to go from the radio to the glove box area of the vehicle. I'm using a Dodge van which has the radio mounted high. I purchased it because the van had no bluetooth so this was my only alternative to streaming music. The sounds is a bit low so I have to crank up the volume a bit, but I'm guessing I would have the same result with any other cable. They offer a 2-year warranty, so I think for the price you can't go wrong. A lot of these cables are from China and are mostly the same IMO. So you are really just paying for aesthetics.
its really good at first
January 22, 2017
its really good at first, then it started unplugging its self and has gotten worse. this chord should not be functioning like this after 6 months. my other chord lasted 7 years. I would not buy this product again and would recommend buying a more better quality chord. pretty disappointed.
Not working after 4 months / received a new cable
August 24, 2016
UPDATE: After contacting support I received a new cable and it works perfectly, I hear sound through all speakers in the car. However, I still hear a loud humming / feedback sound through the speakers when my iPod is paused. If the cable fails like the last one after a few uses I will end up purchasing an Anker cable.I purchased this cable to listen to music in the car. After a few months and a few uses since I received Sirius free with the car it does not work properly. When plugged into the car with my iPod and phone the left speakers do not work, I checked Sirius and a CD the sounds works on the left side of the speakers. The cable also gives a lot of feedback when plugged into the iPod or Phone.
I want to love it
June 25, 2016
I want to like this cable, because it is sturdy and it does what I need it to do. However, it won't stay in the auxiliary port in my Expedition, so it's a little bit annoying. It just falls out any time I pick up my phone. My last auxiliary cable didn't fall out, so I guess this one is missing some kind of extra ridge to hold it in. It's super annoying. Otherwise, it's a great cable and doesn't look like it will ever wear out.
Decent audio cable.
June 23, 2016
I use this cable almost daily in my vehicle and find the cable is pretty decent for the price. It seems to be durable enough so far since I coil it up daily. The blue part where the logo is unscrews off, which I'm assuming is to allow you to replace the connector but I have found it a little annoying because it does come loose from use and needs to be tightened. I also noticed that if you have your device (iPad) plugged into the charger (ixcc charger) with this connected to your vehicle stereo, there is some high pitch squealing/whining feedback that can be heard through the speaker, and gets louder as you rev the engine. I wouldn't buy another one due to the feedback noise when used in a vehicle.

Oh man, these things are crap. These sound so bad it's embarrassing.I replaced my older Logitech speaker/sub computer speakers with these because I just got a new computer system and move the "old" speakers to the "old" computer. My 10 year old bottom-end logitech computer speakers out perform these easily, hands down, no contest. I actually reconnected my old speakers to my new system and put these new speakers with the old system which is now the kids' computer. What a waste.
we will see (update)
May 20, 2017
Arrived very fast. They are really good for the price. Good Bass! The sub woofer is good size. I spoke too soon because now having I am having problems with the jack that plugs into the sub...it wont stay in. The hole that the speaker jack plugs into the subwoofer receded so much that I can't use it.I am going to contact Amazon. They need to send me a new subwoofer. Only used these a few days...hope to have the problem fixed! update:I did get a replacement from Amazon. I am happy they honor their replacements however, taking two months to get it was way too long.
If they didn't break so consistently, they'd be so-so for the price
May 15, 2016
Like many others who've posted negative reviews, I initially was pleased with the fairly good sound for the price. But a little over a year after purchasing, the right speaker would often cut partly out. Wiggling the sub or its wires would correct it. Eventually, though, it just stopped working. There's no obvious way to open the sub to fix whatever crappy soldering job consistently seems to go wrong on these units.Buy something less likely to stop working. Also, as other reviewers have noted, when the speakers actually work, the mid-range sounds are weak and only balanced if you set the bass to a just-right setting. Otherwise, it's sloppy bass or tinny highs.
Weak Bass. Look Another Place!
March 10, 2015
This is one of those purchases where you are stunned with the reviews after receiving the product. I know there are several bad reviews, but that happens on almost everything and some people are never happy. I simply cannot see how anyone can rate these as 5 stars. They are 3 stars at best and more 2 stars in my book.I tested mine with a high-end external sound card on a w530 notebook. I played techno for the range of sounds it offers with crisp highs and plenty of bass beats. I matched them against my very old Cambridge Soundworks 2.1.The satellite speakers are OK, probably worth 3 stars by themselves. the do come attached with one cable, so that is a poor design in my book since it limits the distance apart you can place them. They look good and sound average. The bass was nonexistent even with the selector set on maximum bass. It's a 1 star for sure, rounding the overall to 2 stars. My old Cambridge speakers smoked these speakers in all aspects. They may be fine if you are just using an integrated soundcard chip on your computer and don't have high expectations. If that's the case, I think you can find a better value somewhere else. I think these are $30 speakers, not the $46 I paid. I'm reasonably sure you can find a better option out there regardless of your specific acoustic needs.
READ THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS!!!!
January 22, 2015
Listen to the negative comments! I didn't and ended up having to return my new bought speakers after two days of use. As soon as I hooked up my speakers, I noticed that my left speaker only worked at higher volume levels. I live in a dorm room and when I played my music at lower volumes, I could only hear out of my right speaker. I realized that it may have had something to do with my sub, but after looking into the issue, I found that many other people had the same issue. Sure, for the price, they have pretty great sound, but if the speakers have a tendency of going out after just a few months when new, I'd say to add a few more bucks and get something with better reliability such as one of Logitech's speaker sets.
Solid construction, muddy sound
December 3, 2012
After seeing more than a thousand five-star reviews for this product I was looking forward to getting some great inexpensive speakers. And indeed the system looked great while unpacking and setting it up The construction of the subwoofer box and the other components is solid, and I really like the hockey puck control pod with master volume, subwoofer volume, power switch, and aux and headphone jacks. It looks and feels like a more expensive system. But listening to it for the first time was surprisingly unpleasant. Good speakers produce clear, unobtrusive sound without embellishment, but these speakers manage to sound boomy and tinny at the same time. The bass is muddy and the midrange sounds thin. On the plus side, the highs are fine - cymbal crashes are perfectly clear and natural.Since adjectives like "muddy" are not very useful, I wanted to find an objective explanation for why the sound from the CAs is so much more annoying than my other computer speakers, Dell A525 and Altec Lansing VS2621. So I set up each speaker system in turn in a semi-quiet part of the basement, fed them with white noise, recorded the sound using a decent microphone (Zoom H2n), and measured the frequency response averaged over 30 seconds. Surprisingly, the combined frequency response was similar for all three speakers. But the Dell and CA have an adjustable subwoofer volume, so I also measured the main speakers with the subwoofer turned all the way up, and all the way down (off). That's where a difference showed up - the CA main speakers have a sharp cutoff with very little output below 300 Hz (down 18dB from 400 to 200 Hz), whereas the Dells fall off much more gradually - down 6dB at 200 Hz and 12 dB at 100 Hz. That is a big difference, and the missing low end from the main drivers seems to explain what I hate about the CA's sound. Unfortunately, I was unable to test the Altec-Lansing response without the subwoofer because it can't be turned off - the tone control adjusts the level of the main speakers on that system. I've posted a picture of the test results - the CA is shown as yellow (normal) and green (min and max subwoofer), the Dell is shown as red (normal) and purple (min subwoofer). The background room noise is blue. You can see the overall frequency response (red and yellow) agree fairly closely, but the green is far below the purple between 100 and 300 Hz.Pros for this product: * solid construction quality * nice controller design * no noticeable buzz or distortion * clear high end up to 18KHzCons: * poor low-end response for the main speakers (without subwoofer), unnatural soundIf you want speakers for gaming sound effects, these should be fine. But if you want clear, natural-sounding music, look elsewhere. The similarly-priced Altec-Lansings aren't studio monitors, but they sound better than this.

Cable Too Bulky
February 9, 2017
I have to disagree with the others that claim you don't have to remove your phone case every time you use it. This is not true for mine and I'm sure others. The jacks on both ends of the cable are far too bulky and continuously pop out.Really frustrating when I have it plugged into my phone while driving and I can't easily or quickly plug it back in.The cable works fine but I can't use it for my needs and will need to purchase a different one.
I loved the IXCC 3ft cables that I ordered months ago
December 20, 2016
I loved the IXCC 3ft cables that I ordered months ago, so when I bought a new pair of noise cancelling headphones, I thought this cable would be fantastic for listening to them wired. While the cable quality is fantastic, the plugs on the ends of the cable are slightly undersized when compared to my other 3.5mm cables. This caused them to constantly fall out of the plug in the headphones. My other cables don't do this. I'm surprised these are undersized.I'm returning them because I can't use them this way.
Keep fiddling with the connectors to get one of the cables to work
July 14, 2016
I should have posted my comments earlier but now decided to share my experience. I purchased two orders of this product and one has worked well in one of my cars and the other stopped working after the first 3-4 weeks. I believe the end-points for the cable were defective and if I manually hold on to the connectors I will get sound to play otherwise it does not work. It was frustrating to keep fiddling with the wires to get it to work. Not very happy that I got a 50% success ratio on my purchase of these cables.
So so
June 30, 2016
I bought a couple of these to place in my and my moms new jeep. They work for the most part, but I have noticed there are periods where they get all static sounding. I unplug and replug it back in a couple of times and the static seems to stop. It has happened on both of the plugs, so can't say it was jus my phone or car acting up. Mom has a brand new jeep and a brand new iPhone 6s and it still did it in hers, so go figure.
Quality of Sound is not Impressive... What did I Expect
October 12, 2015
I can't believe I spotted the difference immediately, but the clarity of the sound, and the amount of bass kept intact, leaves more to be desired. I have the 6ft version, not sure if it's because 6ft vs 3ft but, the iVAPO cable sounds much better. Especially when it comes to voices. This makes Vinny from Vinesauce sound more annoying/higher pitched, and the iVAPO carries that missing bass that is present in his voice.I can't believe that I am making such rash decisions, but I am afraid that I have to return this product. Quality is important to me, but so is durability, yet quality takes more priority (except if a cable becomes unusable within 1 month). Return requested.*EDIT*Wow! Returning the cable through Amazon normally, costs more than what I paid for the cable! Guess I have no choice but to keep what I'm not going to use, unless IXCC does something about this.
At least they were cheap...
June 5, 2015
I bought this for my black Hesh Skullcandy headphones. In hindsight I probably should've researched before I bought it but I was in a rush. I'm sure for its intended purpose these would've been great, but for my headphones the blue part of the jack is just way to bulky to fit into my headphone jack. Even when I unscrew the blue part a little it still doesnt work because the plug is so loose that it just slips out. Instead, I tried to use it on my mac but ran into the same issue. There is no 'click' when the jack is inserted to tell you that it's ready to go, which is why these are so irritating. They slipped right out of the audio port on my mac tower as well, and it's frustrating. I really like the thickness of the wire, but it's unfortunate that these are useless to me.I would've given this 3 stars since the quality I'm sure is great if used for its correct purpose, but I knocked it down to 2 because the return policy is absolutely ridiculous. I'm not paying $8 to return a $5 item! What a waste of money...

Bad controller makes product unusable
November 1, 2017
When I first purchased this product in Feb 2015 it worked perfectly. Set-up was simple and the sound was very good. Not any more. About 18 months after purchase the controller failed: Power will not turn off without unplugging the system, and I get horrible interference when the system is plugged in, no matter whether the system is turned on or off.Failure after 16 months? Sorry, that's not acceptable. I cannot recommend this product.
Dont believe the hype!
June 26, 2017
If people consider you an audiophile, you shouldnt like these. All your music will sound different on these. Nice crisp high in but the low mids are just hideos. You can turn the sub all the way off and hear it all the more or turn them all the way up and hear all the extra mud and thud but youll never get it to sound nice and mastered like the thousands of dollars spent on mastering the music we enjoy. Its a cheap trick for people who think louder is better and dont know a mono lofi version of their fav song from a quality ver. If you want party level bass with nice crisp high frequency speakers with all your low frequencies sounding muddy or non existent. These are for you. Oh and dont bother listening to true stereo(like when the drums are panned hard right and the vocals are in the left speaker only) songs like from the Beatles or Motown or even Lenny Kravitz for the matter because the sound just gets worst than terrible. These just arent for people who like music....more for gamers and or for watching movies on your pc. Boy do I wish Altec Lansing still made vs2421s...they were the same price and were like audio angels 10 years ago but cant be found anywhere. So many genres sound horrible on these things....I miss when people cared about their proudct....Im so disgusted.
Not As Good as the Competition
June 3, 2017
At first I thought this was a good product but then after 4 months the left speaker went out and I got the "Logitech Multimedia Speakers Z200" and realized how poor quality these things really were. The logitech speakers cost a little less and had a far more rich sounds. Normally I don't care about bass but after hearing a few of my games with full bass on these new speakers compared to the old ones I am really surprised that these products have such a high rating.
Even tho that demonstrates bad quality in a product it is possible that it ...
May 26, 2017
I have owned this product for 6 months and on the 6th month, it stopped working. It just shut off and never turned on again. I attempted to plug it into different locations hoping that it was the power outlet but it was not. Even tho that demonstrates bad quality in a product it is possible that it was just a bad unit, that is not the reason I am giving this product a bad review. The reason is that the company cyber acoustics hast terrible communication issues. I have been calling for about 2 weeks on constant daily bases leaving voice mails to the number that is supposedly the warranty department and they have yet to answer any of them. The company makes the product and even if I can excuse the bad unit I can't excuse the lack of communication by the company. I finally called Amazon to see if they could maybe mediate a response from the company and they just said they would save me a headache and replace the product for me. THANK YOU, AMAZON. NO THANK YOU CYBER ACOUSTIC.
Good if they work
February 19, 2017
The sound quality is quite good for the price and would get a five star review. Unfortunately, after several weeks the speakers began to emit a loud static hiss/shriek noise every few seconds that makes me want to throw them out the window. They are pretty much unusable unless I crank the volume of the speakers so loud that it drowns out the static noise, which seems to remain constant regardless of the volume level of the speakers.
People don't leave 1 star for no reason. Get a different speaker.
October 26, 2016
I read all the feedbacks and saw that people are complaining about the speakers not working after months or years, or even days. And I was like it probably happens to every product and there are some that will stop working eventually. But once I received mine, it didn't work at all. Right out of the box!!! And it's not I don't know what to plug where, I build my own PC and I definitely know how to setup speakers. But god this product sucks so bad. I am gonna return it tomorrow and get a good brand.

One Day Use
March 18, 2017
This cable worked one day and then the connection failed. It was only handled with care by adults who never disconnected it by pulling the wire.
Terrible, died in 3 months
September 11, 2016
This cord lasted all of about 3 months before it crapped out. It only works as long as you don't even slightly nudge it when it's plugged into your phone. The second you pick your phone up or try to adjust the cord, it cuts out and you have to restart whatever you were playing. Very disappointed, it's hard enough trying to find a good aux cord.
and it works beautifully, would not recommend to anyone
June 21, 2016
Initially worked for about 1 day then both sides of the 3.5mm casing began to unscrew. This cable is kept perfectly still with minimal exposed motion and they will continually just loosen, which lowers the quality of the connection and causes a fair amount of background noise. Used this product for about a day and got one from Monster, for $6, and it works beautifully, would not recommend to anyone.
Damaged item
April 18, 2016
There's a small kink in the wire that seems to be causing some serious quality issues. Always background static when playing music through it, depending on how it's rotated around the kink it might not work at all.Admittedly I didn't try to go through the return/replacement process, but when I purchase such a simple item I'd prefer they just get it right the first time.
