Excellent table
September 8, 2017
I got the table a few weeks back, and it is really great! The table top is really resistant. By mistake, I let a scissor fell on top of it, and no scratches/damage were made. I was surprised, since I was expecting some damage from it.The packaging was good too. It arrived without damages. The only drawback, as other reviews already mentioned, is that it isn't easy to change the height. But, since I am not planning to keep changing the height often, this table is totally worth the price I paid.
Functional and matches description.

This desk is just what I needed. I have it in the standing position, this way I can stand up or sit in a drafting chair. It definitely took 2 of us to assemble the desk. It does not go up and down easily. You will need to disassemble part of it to change the height.Design is just as described in the picture and specs.
Best standing desk for the price by far!
February 15, 2016
I love this desk. It is a bit wobbly but mostly if you rest the heel of your hands on the desk when you type. If you lift up then it doesn't move at all. Even the wobble isn't so bad. I'm 5'9" and I'm at the 2nd to top height and it works great. I may move it up one more. I'm using a Dell 21:9 34" monitor with no issues. No it is not adjustable on the fly. It is not a sit/stand convertible desk. I can say, for the money, this is one of the best I've seen. I looked all around and found prices well over $800. This is great!
Just what I needed.
October 9, 2015
Very sturdy and just the right size for me (I am 5'11" tall). I love the monitor stand which maximize the desk space, so I can put a printer on the right and a paper tray on the left. The monitor stand also swivels four directions. I could tilt my monitor slightly upward to meet my eye level.I sometimes place a treadmill in front of the stand up desk and walk while I use the computer. The height of the desk is almost perfect for this purpose, although 5" extra inches higher would be ideal. The only two minor drawbacks are: 1) poor assembly instruction. It took me nearly two hours to install it correctly. 2) missing a monitor stand screw. I had to buy one from the local hardware store. Despite the minor glitches, it's a great product and good value.
Just Tall Enough
June 11, 2015
Quality of the desk was actually better than I expected for the price. Assembly was very easy. One thing to note is that I'm 6'2" and the desk is just tall enough for me on the highest setting, probably could be an inch higher and it would be perfect. If you're 6'2" or taller the desk may not be high enough for you.
Awesome!!
January 11, 2015
This is sooooo much cheaper than the alternatives + looks really nice (I found I've adjusted the height once and it's been the same sense -- hence I don't think paying the extra money for a desk that adjusts easily with a push of a button would have been worth it)! Plenty of room for a laptop, keyboard, mouse (etc.).Love it!

Just what I ordered
April 2, 2017
This desk is great for those times when I need to stand and work at my laptop. It is lightweight on fits perfectly on my computer desk. I like that it can be adjusted to different heights for other locations.
An affordable solution!
January 30, 2017
Another great solution for a stand up desk. I love the height adjustments and it does keep things sturdy. It will slide around on polished surfaces, but I found putting a mat down lessens that. I stand up when I work, and this is the perfect height for my kitchen counter.
It is what I hoped it would be
December 7, 2015
Haven't used it much yet, but I like that the legs are adjustable and can go high enough for reading from a book or Kindle. And the table top swivels so you can tilt it toward you. There is a piece to flip up so whatever is on the table does not fall off if you tilt it, and it has a little well in it in which you could put a couple pens or styluses. It might be a little delicate; if I traveled with it, I would wrap it carefully.
Works great on my reclining chair
May 11, 2015
I use this while I am seated on my large recliner chair. It fits perfectly. I did tilt it and I had a problem with the mouse being susceptible to gravity. So, I used my electric glue gun to glue on a piece of clear acrylic as barrier. My mouse pad doesn't move at all.It folds up easily. Sometime soon, I will improve it, by making a pouch on the bottom of it to hold my mouse and glue down the mouse pad.
A Must for Frequent Travelers
March 9, 2015
I travel a lot for work, so I really enjoy this desk. It fits in my overhead bag and I bring it on all trips with me. Study and easy to use.
An excellent purchase - easy to use, lightweight, and flexible!
August 23, 2014
A few months ago I purchased the larger model - the Executive Stand Steady desk and I have been amazed at what a difference it has made. My doctor told me about the research reports that sitting for extended periods can lead to many serious health issues, including osteoporosis and heart disease, but I couldn't imagine how I could get all my work done if I didn't sit at my desk all day. Then I tried the Stand Steady - it's just what the doctor ordered! Even though I am a senior citizen, I had no trouble adapting to the prolonged standing position - it is actually much more comfortable than sitting. However, I often need to work on my computer while on travel so I really missed being able to stand up while typing and Internet browsing. Then I discovered the traveler stand-up desk. Not only does it fit easily in my suitcase, but it is very lightweight and easy to fold up and then re-open. But what I like best about it, is that it has an extra feature I don't have on the larger model - I can rotate the desk from 0 to 45 degrees to make it easier to tilt the screen for different lighting and other room conditions. I would highly recommend this model to anyone who needs to move around frequently - if you have just a small laptop, and don't need a large desk area, you might want to consider using it as your daily desktop - it's very comfortable and flexible.

A tall desk for standing at shouldnt cost a fortune like the adjustable ones do
July 26, 2017
Exactly what I was looking for. A tall desk for standing at shouldnt cost a fortune like the adjustable ones do. This desk height can be adjusted when you put it together, but would probably be a pain in the butt if you want to adjust it later.
Okay...could be more easily adjustable.
March 11, 2017
Just okay. Was hoping to have something that adjusted more easily. Once it is put together as a standing desk it is difficult to convert it to a sitting desk. Must be satisfied with one or the other.
Totally OK and for the price, good.
March 10, 2017
This is a very serviceable desk, but it wobbles. I use a vesa wall mounted display so it doesn't impact me but if I had a display on the table I would throw up from motion sickness.I have re-tightened everything to no avail. Also, god help you if you need to change the height on this. Measure twice, install once.
Stand up now
March 6, 2017
I love this desk. It's the perfect height (since it's adjustable) and well put together. The reason for the four stars? It's hard to put together. Not a deal breaker but worth mentioning. The price is reasonable for the quality.
Strong and durable standing desk - caution if your over 6' tall
February 20, 2016
Built well. Strong and designed to last. Wide flat area to place computer items and additional stuff. I am using a 24" monitor and it works very well. I can foresee this piece lasting many years due to the construction material and strength.Con: I'm 6' tall and I have it set on the tallest notches, but I still feel it should raise a little higher for my comfort (specially if you are using it will shoes or a relief mat). You could drill additional holes to accomplish this - so it's not a deal breaker. Instructions are average, could be better.
workmanship is very good. Working surface is almost elegant in design
November 14, 2014
Bought two, workmanship is very good. Working surface is almost elegant in design. Only negatives are one of the mountingstands was extremely hard to install due to welded nut in stand being slightly off center and easy to cross tread. The other is one stand had smaller wheels. All in all, excellent value.

Almost perfect
April 18, 2017
While the desk works great and is lightweight (so it can be moved from room to room) it can be tricky to adjust. I did have to place padding between my laptop (or keyboard) and the desk to muffle the sound whenever I type. Otherwise I would have given it five stars.
Perfect for the price and mobility.
May 17, 2016
I love being able to stand at my desk. After looking at several options, I landed on the Stand Steady Traveler because of the price and ability to quickly move it from my desk to storage. Like others, I've had to come up with my own solution to the lack of traction on the stand's feet and purchased no-slip furniture rubber pads to stick on the bottom - works perfect. May have had to go out of the way to get them, but it wasn't something that bothered me. The desk does shake a little when you type, especially if you're a fast typer, but it's nothing that interferes with your work. There's a little storage compartment for a pen that I think is unnecessary, especially if your computer is big enough that, when on the desk, it covers up the compartment. I've had several co-workers ask to try the desk out for themselves and they've loved how easy it is to set up, raise/lower the height, and store. I would definitely buy this again.
Brittle Plastic Pieces Don't Last -- but Stand Steady Responded Quickly.
July 16, 2015
It's lovely and perfect, just the kind of thing I was looking for, but one of the tabs that braces the length of the legs snapped off on the very first day! I don't mind the light aluminum, but for $60, I would think it would at least not break so quickly._________________Follow on: I contacted the seller and they were very responsive. Thumbs up for customer service and adding a star.
Works well with some adjustments
May 14, 2015
I'm pretty happy with this stand - it's perfect to get started easily with a stand up desk. It does slide around a bit, so I'm using the non-slide stickers and that works well. Also note that if you have a key board with a number pad you won't have room for your mouse so you'll need to set that up beside it. Overall working great and I feel better already standing more this week!
Good, inexpensive stand-up desk
February 22, 2015
Exactly what I was hoping for. The product is inexpensive and is works well. A couple of items to be aware of: 1) I have a 13" MacBook Pro, and would not recommend using this with a larger computer; because the cup holder is quite small, and completely functional but not flush so it takes up some of the space; and, finally, is a little troubling that the desk seems wobbly, but no the extent that it interferes with work. For the traveler: I am considering taking the desk with me on my next extended trip, since it folds completely flat. Great all-around, and would recommend for a first ("I want to try out this whole standing desk deal") standing desk.
Great for elevating monitor
September 2, 2014
I use it for eye level with my monitor when standing and it when I am typing on my angled keyboard and it is the right height and strong enough to hold up my 23", 20 lb. monitor. It has a cup holder and looks like a pencil storage holder too. The height can be adjusted at the legs. Tis is perfect for people who like to stand or tall people sitting down.

It is nice, but very annoying to adjust up or down
June 6, 2015
It is nice, but very annoying to adjust up or down, and after reading about the health problems of sitting, I was convinced to stand more. Yet, the standing (even with my $40 gel standing mat) just got more annoying and became unbearable as I could not focus on working because I had to keep fidgeting my legs or leaning against the desk, I ended up laying around more, rather than even sitting, because I began to feel always fatigued from dealing with the desk and standing at it. So, if you have good shoes, gel mat, and patience, you MIGHT be able to deal with it a couple hours a day, but overall, I would say to get a desk that has an adjustable crank or motor or even a treadmill desk, anything to prevent the stagnant feeling.
It is what it is
May 13, 2015
It is a desk. It can be adjusted but that involves removing two screws on each side and manually raising the desk. I can't say I didn't know this going into my purchase. It works just fine but it isn't something to show off to your friends/neighbors/nearby strangers. It is a desk and only this.It holds things on it's surface. This is what you should expect.

April 27, 2015
It's ok... It's a pain to adjust the height (you have to remove screws to reposition, but it's sturdy and provides adequate room on the table to work with a keyboard & small speakers, if you like, as well as, some other desktop knickknacks.
Mobile yes. Adjustable -- barely
April 11, 2015
The desk itself is fine, solidly put together and looks good, but it is a real stretch to call it "adjustable". Yes, it can be screwed together at the height of one's choosing, but changing that height afterwards is about as easy as assembling the furniture in the first place, in that elements have to be unscrewed and reassembled. This requires removing everything on the desk. It is working for me and I'm not sorry I bought it, but I don't think the description conveyed what the item will and won't do.

Flimsy
September 18, 2015
I bought this stand up desk to use in the office, so I could easily pop up and down, using the standing desk for my wireless keyboard and touch pad. It was the right height for me. While I understand it needs to be light to work well as a literal traveling desk, it is very flimsy. The metal table part bounces up and down as I type on my keyboard and press on the touch pad. Perhaps it would work better with a heavier laptop, but for my purpose it's not that great. I rattle as I type. Also, the feet are hard plastic, and since it is so light, it slides around on the deck. I had to attach little rubber feet to keep it from moving. I will keep this because it's better than the cardboard box I was using, but honestly, not all that much better.
Flimsy, way overpriced
September 1, 2015
It does what it's supposed to do, but it's flimsy and cheaply made. There are plastic parts at key places, which contributes to its lack of stability. Of particular note is its high price. I was willing to give it a shot at $50, and while I feel that I paid about $20 too much, since it did serve my needs, I was willing to keep it. But I was surprised when it arrived: I was expecting better quality materials for that price. I now see that it's priced at $70, which is, plainly stated, a ripoff. If money is no object and you don't mind overpaying, this will likely do the trick (if you don't mind the constant movement while you're trying to type). But if you have any sense of value, find something else.
Not very stable, coarse adjustments
August 27, 2015
It's OK for web surfing. But when I start typing, the table shakes noticeably - I can't stand writing more than one sentence at a time. Also, the tilt angle adjustment is very coarse: at one click away from flat, the mouse slides off the table. The table surface is shiny enough that an optical mouse doesn't work very well.
Great for travelers - just a bit too small for me
August 15, 2015
Great idea. Just not wide enough for me. I use a wireless mouse with my laptop (hate the tiny touchpad area) and the surface isn't wide enough to accommodate. I did like the locking cam action adjusters. Also, it was generally pretty stable when using. The best feature was that it folded up nicely and fit in suitcase without taking up too much space. So, if you travel a lot, you might enjoy this.

Pretty good but for the price you would think that it would be waterproof. After getting wet the top of the desk peeled off.
Not adjustable
October 14, 2017
If you want a desk that you setup a certain height and never change then this will work. If you are looking for an ADJUSTABLE stand up desk do not buy this one. You have to manually unscrew the two sides and try and adjust it. Took a while to put together and the monitor holder is fairly flimsy. Manufacturer should make it clear that it is difficult to adjust the height and that it is really meant to remain at one height.
Good product but missing parts
February 22, 2017

January 24, 2016
The problem with this desk, is that once you set it at the height you that you want, you are S.O.L.. In order to move it two different heights, you have to physically take the center bar out of the middle and adjust it where you want it (this takes two people each time). Definitely not worth the money, time or hassell.

Flimsy but functional
December 5, 2015
Debating about whether to keep it. Which it felt more solid. Wouldn't leave my laptop on it unattended; a strong vibration might cause laptop to slide off. Would be nice if there were some edging all around the desktop. There is a "pop-up" edge on one side that I mistook at first for a pen/pencil holder. You open the edge to keep your computer from sliding if you tilt the tray.As others have noted, the feet are slippery, too.$70 seem like a lot for this, but I'm not trying to spend hundreds of dollars either.
Cheaply made
September 26, 2015
It serves the function, but it seems made of cheap materials thst easily scratch and may break. Given the price of the item, consider looking at other options. For those of us who travel, I am not confident that this portable desk will withstand the use.
Too flimsy and not stable
September 15, 2015
Had it for 6 months; now one of the legs came off. And can't put it back it...The table is too flimsy and not stable at times. The desk area is very small only fitting a notebook, nothing else...I doubt if it would be feasible to pack in your back with a laptop and be good to go...
Flimsy, wobbly and slidey, oh my!
July 10, 2015
Man was I disappointed when I took this thing out of the box. I thought I won a prize from the gum-ball machine - this things is so flimsy. And how much did I pay for this???I searched high and low to find a keyboard riser that would accommodate a treadmill desk. I will applaud this stand's ability to rise to the height I needed but every push on the keyboard buttons sends this thing into a wobble, it's support system is highly disappointing. Lightweight and strong are two completely different terms when applied to this one.I'm not crazy about the color scheme either with the orange latches/buttons and white joining pieces - who has a creamsicle colored desk??? Again though, it's the only thing I could find that met the height and width requirement for my desk. Also, there is no reliable resistance on the feet to keep the stand secured on top of a desk. It slides like there are a couples sticks of butter on those legs. I'll have to invest in some adhesive rubber pads.
Wobbly
June 24, 2015
Very wobbly. I expected much better quality for the price.
Disappointing Quality
November 19, 2014
Disappointing product quality. Certainly light-weight, but also seems cheaply made and not "steady"---but instead quite wobbly. As noted by someone else, the plastic feet tend to glide across a flat surface It just arrived and I am going to immediately return it.

Do NOT Waste Your Money! Parts DONT FIT!
July 12, 2017
I was very excited to purchase this desk since I study better when standing, however this was a complete waste of money! The parts did not fit at all when I was trying to construct it! I still have the box and wondering what to do with my $200 worth of junk!!! Please spend a bit extra on a nicer desk and avoid this at all costs!
Took me four sweaty hours to assemble
June 1, 2017
This thing is the worst item I've ever purchased from Amazon. Firstly, it's got a misleading name. This is simply a tall desk with wheels, nothing more nothing less. It does not move up and down easily. Once you assemble it, it is FIXED.This brings me to the crux of the issue: it is REALLY hard to get the bar that fixes the height in between the two legs. it's supposed to be a tight fit, not nearly impossible. The inside of the legs are all scratched up now from me trying to slide the bar so that it is level and parallel to the floor. That took me more than an hour. From start to finish, this was a four hour pain. I'm fairly certain my helper has a hernia now and we both banged our heads. It is unwieldy, difficult and annoying. The most that can be said about it is that the pieces are all very sturdy.

November 23, 2015
I was trying to contact the seller directly to provide this feedback but was unable to locate the link in order to do so. We've had this stand for about two months; Today was the first time I attempted to shorten the stand legs. Only one leg's mechanism works, making it only possible to use at the highest height. Had I noticed this in the first 30 days I would have returned for a replacement.

Just delivered today. This thing is a joke, right? I can't believe I paid $70 for this piece of plastic. Wobbly as hell--I feel like I'm getting motion sickness. Can't even support the weight of my hands. Who are these people leaving 5-star reviews on this thing? Seriously, who are you? Do you actually exist? I'm perplexed.Anyway, thanks for listening--I'm returning this piece of garbage tomorrow at the crack of dawn. I'm honestly embarrassed. I'm gonna go for a walk.
You'll LOVE HATING this standing desk!
September 22, 2015
This standing desk is advertised as lightweight and DEAR GOD is it lightweight! So lightweight you'll enjoy the experience of chasing it around your desk while you type and your laptop shakes uncontrollably. So lightweight, one drop and this sucker's a goner! Don't dare fold the legs in, unless you prefer your standing desk broken. Also I'm really enjoying the vintage look - scratches galore! I think I sneaked one by them, people pay extra for that I'm sure. And I LOOOOVE that it wasn't shipped in a box, just the box it comes in. SUCH QUALITY!I mean if you're in the market to grossly overspend on a zero quality, this desk is for you!And as long as you're overpaying, go for that one-day shipping and you can be annoyed 24 hours sooner!

August 25, 2015
I received my stand up desk today and was immediately struck by the flimsiness of the product. The entire desk shakes when used as a laptop stand (placed on top of another desk) and, as another reviewer mentioned, the desk slides across flat surfaces unless placed on non-slide pads or otherwise backstopped. When I attempted to adjust the height, the orange tab snapped off entirely, rendering the desk virtually un-adjustable. I will most certainly be returning this POS.
