By mistake, I let a scissor fell on top of it, and no scratches/damage were made. I was surprised, since I was expecting some damage from it.The packaging was good too. It arrived without damages.The only drawback, as other reviews already mentioned, is that it isn't easy to change the height. But, since I am not planning to keep changing the height often, this table is totally worth the price I paid. Functional and matches description. March 4, 2017 This desk is just what I needed. I have it in the standing position, this way I can stand up or sit in a drafting chair.It definitely took 2 of us to assemble the desk. It does not go up and down easily. You will need to disassemble part of it to change the height.Design is just as described in the picture and specs. Best standing desk for the price by far! February 15, 2016 I love this desk. It is a bit wobbly but mostly if you rest the heel of your hands on the desk when you type. If you lift up then it doesn't move at all. Even the wobble isn't so bad. I'm 5'9" and I'm at the 2nd to top height and it works great. I may move it up one more. I'm using a Dell 21:9 34" monitor with no issues. No it is not adjustable on the fly. It is not a sit/stand convertible desk. I can say, for the money, this is one of the best I've seen. I looked all around and found prices well over $800. This is great! Just what I needed. October 9, 2015 Very sturdy and just the right size for me (I am 5'11" tall). I love the monitor stand which maximize the desk space, so I can put a printer on the right and a paper tray on the left. The monitor stand also swivels four directions. I could tilt my monitor slightly upward to meet my eye level.I sometimes place a treadmill in front of the stand up desk and walk while I use the computer. The height of the desk is almost perfect for this purpose, although 5" extra inches higher would be ideal. The only two minor drawbacks are: 1) poor assembly instruction. It took me nearly two hours to install it correctly. 2) missing a monitor stand screw. I had to buy one from the local hardware store. Despite the minor glitches, it's a great product and good value. Just Tall Enough June 11, 2015 Quality of the desk was actually better than I expected for the price. Assembly was very easy. One thing to note is that I'm 6'2" and the desk is just tall enough for me on the highest setting, probably could be an inch higher and it would be perfect. If you're 6'2" or taller the desk may not be high enough for you. Awesome!! Saw this Sky Mat for $38 on Prime Day and thought to myself now is the time to try this one out. I LOVE this mat. Excellent purchase decision March 8, 2017 I recently switched to a permanent stand-up desk at work and while it was great for my tailbone, standing on the cement floor covered in barely there carpet was killing my feet and knees. This mat has been a godsend! It's wide enough that I can move around my desk and stay fully on the mat. It provides the perfect amount of supported cushion for me to stand comfortably for long periods of time.I would definitely recommend this mat to anyone looking to invest in a solid anti-fatigue mat. February 26, 2017 I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and since I stand on my feel all day at work, my feet are usually tired and sore by the time I start preparing food and cooking in the evening. I need some good cushion under my feet when standing in the kitchen. Over the years I have bought many of these high-quality, medium price range (not the most expensive ones!) fatigue mats. This mat was delivered on January 12, 2107. I can honestly say that this mat is one of the finest I have ever purchased. Good cushion, well made (so far), attractive, and easy to clean. I also like the way the sloping sides do not cause me to trip, as some of the mats do. I only wish I could have got one just a little bit larger. Perhaps 24 in X 80 in... that would be perfect for the entire space from my sinks to the end of my prep counter. I will probably also get one for in front of my rolling kitchen island. LOL These are the best fatigue mats my wife and I have found January 30, 2017 These are the best fatigue mats my wife and I have found. I like mine at work so much that I recently bought four more to replace the gel mats we had in our kitchen. My wife likes that the edges on the Sky mats are tapered and seem like the won't roll up over time, which happened to our old mats. The Sky mats are also thicker and seem to cushion our feet more when standing on them than the old gel mats. If you're standing, and it's not on this mat, you're doing standing wrong June 18, 2015 I bought this mat to use at my standing desk at home. By standing desk I mean the repurposed high-top dining room table with my monitor on top of a stack of boxes. But hey, it works for now. I gave up sitting and my chiropractor said a mat would be a good idea. This one is definitely worth the extra over the cheaper ones. It is thick, soft and spacious and can provide hours of entertainment watching the imprints disappear as you step off it, back to perfect form. It's much more comfortable than standing on the floor / carpet. It came in one of the biggest boxes I've received (40 x 23 x 17 inches), but at least it means it comes flat rather than rolled up and it's ready to use. I use a vesa wall mounted display so it doesn't impact me but if I had a display on the table I would throw up from motion sickness.I have re-tightened everything to no avail. It's not so thick that I sink into it, and for me that's a good thing.When I'm not standing at my desk, I roll up the mat and set it aside.When I stand in it, depressions from my shoes appear fairly quickly. However, they disappear when I take a break from standing on it. Overall, the mat seems to be good quality and durable.For the price point, I think it is a decent mat. Yet, the standing (even with my $40 gel standing mat) just got more annoying and became unbearable as I could not focus on working because I had to keep fidgeting my legs or leaning against the desk, I ended up laying around more, rather than even sitting, because I began to feel always fatigued from dealing with the desk and standing at it. So, if you have good shoes, gel mat, and patience, you MIGHT be able to deal with it a couple hours a day, but overall, I would say to get a desk that has an adjustable crank or motor or even a treadmill desk, anything to prevent the stagnant feeling. They only vacuum my office once per week, and there are little black pieces all over the floor, because the tread on my shoes pulls them off of the mat. I like this product, especially for the price, though I honestly think it could be more supportive. I have been using it for more than a year and I find myself sitting more frequently as my feet and lower back hurt from long periods of standing (~2 hours before I sit to let my feet recover). I like the size though, as it does allow you to move around on the mat (which I find important to alleviate pressure in my feet). Took a while to put together and the monitor holder is fairly flimsy. Manufacturer should make it clear that it is difficult to adjust the height and that it is really meant to remain at one height. I don't spend on more than 30 minutes, so it is not that harmful. It does not look like a fancy mat, just a cheap piece of vinyl. When I first got it, I found a small part of white stains, so I scratched it a little bit. The stain didn't go away, but it left a scratch on the surface of the mat. It is cheaper than other mats, but it's easy to get cracked. If there's someone, looking for a mat that will support a little amount of comfort, this product is reasonable. I am an attorney who spends an average of 10 hours a day standing. The mat was purchased to combat foot, knee, and lower back pain from when I originally stopped sitting.When I first started standing at work, I noticed significant foot and lower back pain. I purchased this mat, and it originally alleviated the foot and lower back pain. However, I spend on average 10 hours per day standing at the office, and this mat does not provide the proper support for that amount of use. It is a cheap piece of vinyl that is obviously machine-cut from a much larger piece. These mats are being passed off as anti-fatigue mats, but they were most likely designed for another purpose. The vinyl is not attractive and should not be used where aesthetics are a concern.Pros:-The price is low relative to other anti-fatigue mats on Amazon.-Good for light use, perhaps standing one hour or less at a time.-The item is durable, and has not broken down after standing on it for nearly a year.Cons:-The mat is only 1/4" thick.-Does not provide proper support for someone standing eight hours or more per day.-Does not adequately prevent foot, knee, and back pain.-Made from cheap vinyl and obviously machine-cut off a much longer piece. One Star Reviews: | 3% Do NOT Waste Your Money! Parts DONT FIT! July 12, 2017 I was very excited to purchase this desk since I study better when standing, however this was a complete waste of money! The parts did not fit at all when I was trying to construct it! I still have the box and wondering what to do with my $200 worth of junk!!! Please spend a bit extra on a nicer desk and avoid this at all costs! Took me four sweaty hours to assemble June 1, 2017 This thing is the worst item I've ever purchased from Amazon. Firstly, it's got a misleading name. This is simply a tall desk with wheels, nothing more nothing less. It does not move up and down easily. Once you assemble it, it is FIXED.This brings me to the crux of the issue: it is REALLY hard to get the bar that fixes the height in between the two legs. it's supposed to be a tight fit, not nearly impossible. The inside of the legs are all scratched up now from me trying to slide the bar so that it is level and parallel to the floor. That took me more than an hour. From start to finish, this was a four hour pain. I'm fairly certain my helper has a hernia now and we both banged our heads. It is unwieldy, difficult and annoying. The most that can be said about it is that the pieces are all very sturdy. was advertised as chrome with birch top. what arrived ... I could not attempt a return since I had the item for a few months prior to actually unpacking and using it. The poor quality material pills up and many many little pieces fall off it nonstop. Makes a huge mess on the floor and it only takes stepping on it for a second or 2 for it to make the same mess again. I had much better luck with mats from Costco and Bed Bath & Beyond. Not an anti-fatigue mat! February 29, 2016 I bought this mat because it is described as anti-fatigue but unfortunately it is not. It's very thin and that's why it is cheaper. I've one anti-fatigue foot-mat in office given by ergonomic experts and this one is not even close to that. There is no way this can prevent back pain or knee pain. It is good to use as pretty much regular mat and nothing more. It is definitely not for standing 8 hours and will not prevent any pains. I bought this believing it to be anti-fatigue. I believed the low price is because of Amazon itself selling it but not true. Probably, Amazon should remove the anti-fatigue word from here.If you are looking for quick use like 30mins or as a general purpose door mat this is good. Definitely, not an anti-fatigue mat! I like to stand at the sink bare foot October 11, 2015 I like to stand at the sink bare foot, the ridges on the top of this mat are extremely uncomfortable. Even with my walking shoes on, this mat isn't cushy enough, seems kind of hard, compared to others that I've stood on. So sorry I wasted my time on this. cheap and uncomfortable March 13, 2014 I just converted to standing desk, so I was looking fro a mat to stand at while I work on my computer all day. I was expecting more from this floormat. I'm not sure what it would be appropriate for, since I stood on it for about 2 minutes and it already had deep dents in it. It's also not even remotely comfortable to stand on, even with shoes. No good... November 12, 2012 I purchased two of these for my two, new counter height desks. The floor in my office is concrete with a very thin layer of carpeting so an anti-fatigue mat sounded like a great idea. This mat is VERY thin, it provides maybe 60 seconds of 'ant-fatigue'. I weigh 190 lbs and after standing on this for 60 seconds it essential levels out and goes flat... defeating the purpose of the entire thing.I'm not sure if I got the same product that everyone else is raving about, but I can't understand how it could be. February 12, 2016 I have had a really bad experience.I got the mat and I love the feel of it, but eventually I realized that horrible smell haunting my cube was this. It didn't go away. The company said this was an issue confined to a rare batch and that I could clean and put in the sun or throw away and they would send me a new one. I hated doing because of the environment but I threw it away because I don't have a car and live in an apartment.I received my replacement mat today and it smells HORRIBLE. I will have to carry it one mile home to try to leave it in the sun or take a cab.
