| I LOVE this sinkMay 16, 2017 I LOVE this sink! I had a sink similar to this in our previous home, so I knew that I wanted one again.I researched and read review after review and finally settled in this one. I ordered early because most of the reviews said the first ones came cracked or damaged.I am very happy to say that our first sink was delivered undamaged and in perfect condition. We installed it right away, which was super easy to do.I love that it came with the basket and drain. In fact, that is one thing that sets this sink apart from others--the drain and basket that come with it are DEEP so it's so much easier to clean those dishes that have stuck on gunk....without worry that the gunk will go down the drain when you're cleaning the sink out.I will absolutely recommend this sink to my friends and family and will watch for more Kraus products. This is very high quality for a decent price! Looks sharpMay 12, 2017 I like this sink very much. It looks sharp in a darker brown counter with almost white cabinets.It arrived well packed and in apparent good condition. We had to make some cabinet modifications to make it fit, but it is exactly the size I wanted to be able to wash larger pans.We do not yet have the faucet installed so am hoping there are no hidden flaws that will allow it to leak. Would recommend this productApril 23, 2017 Love this product and can't speak highly enough about it. We undermounted it in the quite quartz countertop. Large and deep, looks exactly as we had hoped. Love this sink!August 4, 2016 This is a really beautiful sink. We thought the dark color would show a lot of water staining but that hasn't proven to be the case. Just rinse it well, wipe it out if necessary (we use the Kraus logo towel that came with the sink!) and it looks like new again. I had to order and return the first two due to damage during shipping, but it was worth going through the delays and with the excellent customer service assistance from Amazon, I'm very happy with the end result. What a great sink!March 13, 2016 This sink is awesome! The color is awesome and the bowl is so big and roomy. I love single bowls over double bowls. This Kraus sink looks amazing in my kitchen. I top mounted on formic a and it came out great. This think is super heavy duty and the basin is plenty large enough. The only con that most people will complain is about is it doesn't 100% drain because of the squared basin, but it doesn't bother me at all. | very happy with it!November 24, 2016 Now that the sink is installed, I am very pleased. One negative thing I have to say about it is it was difficult to install. The margin for error is very small when you are trying to cut the counter out for this sink. However, we just kept slivering away with the jigsaw and eventually got it.The sink looks great! We've had it in for about 6 months now and looks just as good as it did when we put it in, no fading of colours or scratches. The strainer and plug look really good against the black as well. It was. Installed fairly easily and doesn't take much care. I can see the finish will fade over time(we have had ours for about a year) but still looks pretty good. I did dry it real good and olive oil it and that lasted for a while. If you need to dress it up in a pinch for guests or whatever, that does the trick. Oh, another note on install, buy a whole saw to finish cutting the pre-cut holes and expect to throw it in the trash after you are done. This sink is very hard and basically will destroy all but the best hole saws. I wouldn't waste a 30-40$ hole bit on it because it will probably ruin it anyway. better off to sacrifice a 5-10$ bit. Don't get a wood bit though, that would just go flat and leave the sink laughing at you. Prepare for multiple deliveries but its worth itJanuary 4, 2016 I'm giving this product 4 stars instead of 5 not because of the quality of the sink but rather because of the amount of times it took to get here un broken. The first was an amazon warehouse deal but it came with a crack. Amazon did a return and refunded me so I paid a little more for a new one this time and ordered again. The next and the next came in either with a crack or with a blemish. We already had our old countertop and sink out at the time so it was a bit of a headache. Amazon did do 1 day shipping for each of the replacements and were excellent as usual. Once we did get one that was intact, we got it in and are extremely happy with it. Even with it being a deeper sink, we didn't have a problem hooking up the garbage disposal underneath it which was an original worry that we had. We get a lot of compliments on it and I'm so much happier with the black sink than I ever would have been with a stainless steel. I was worried the black would show water spots but nope... no water spots, no chips (even with "helpful" toddlers who literally throw (aka sometimes break) their dishes into the sink.I expect it to hold up well over time and I'm just super stoked with how it turned out once it finally got here and installed. Don't get this though if you need it to be here by a deadline. But, if you have time to wait for it to get in correctly, grab it! You won't regret it. It has a nice matte finish. I give it 4 stars because we had to return the first sink for its being cracked. Amazon made it really easy and the new sink was here within two days. very nice, is narrow from front to backAugust 4, 2015 very nice, is narrow from front to back, which is what I needed, and very deep. I really like the nice heavy stopper and basket for catching debris going down the drain, but I can't use the basket because I installed a garbage disposal and so it will no long fit in the hole. | HARD WATER AND SOME CHEMICALS LEAVE WHITE STREAKS!!! THE MATTED LOOK IS GREAT BUT COMES WITH A COMPROMISE...November 2, 2015 NOT A RESILIENT FINISH!!! IT WILL TURN WHITE WITH HARD WATER OR OTHER CHEMICALS LIKE PAINT THINNER! If you get any silicone from the installation on the side or top of the sink it altars the finish. It gives it a permanent "wet" look. Then when cleaning the silicone off with Paint thinner it put white streaks on the finish. HOWEVER- Installation was a breeze. The nifty clips it comes with worked great. The pattern for the cutout was a bit smaller than what It actually needs, but a bit more trimming did the trick. Apart from it's surface it's a great sink. The white streaks are something I could live with, but I'm not too picky. ----Disappointed with the finish on the surface, But other than that, it seems to be a great sink. That's why I'm willing to compromise on the 3rd star <I;-) Nice looking sink, but it developes a white haz after a while even if you take good care of it.May 6, 2015 Looks beautiful when you first get it but with a little wear you start getting a white haz where its exposed to water. I found that baby oil keeps it looking like band new for about a week then you have to apply more to make the white haz go away. | | | | |

| DamagesMarch 12, 2017 Arrived with a crack in bottom of sink Very Poor Quality ControlFebruary 17, 2017 I have ordered three of these sinks from Amazon and one from Home Depot. Every single one of them have been cracked at the corners. I am currently waiting on the fifth sink to arrive and am praying that is isn't cracked as well. I just had new granite countertops installed and they cut the hole to fit this sink....and there are not many options for a black sink with these dimensions available. I am terribly disappointed and feel that my remodeling experience has been negatively impacted. DO NOT BUY THIS SINK unless you like stress or sinks with cracked corners. Cracking in Top Back Corners - 4 Returns... So far.August 27, 2016 The sink looks very nice but I've received and returned four now because of visible cracks across & down both the top, back, inside corners. Hopefully the next replacement sink will not be damaged. I worry the cracks will expand over time and I don't want to install something with visible issues or cause the sink to leak. I already have a cabinet ready for this exact item. I hope to update this post if/when I have better news.Update: 7 December 2016 - Just returned the fourth. Maybe #5 will not have cracks. it's a nice sink.June 21, 2015 INSPECT THIS SINK FIRST! I give this review a 1 star because the installers for our new counter tops noticed this sink had cracks in 3 corners. We returned it and the replacement had the same 3 cracks in the same corners but smaller (?MANUFACTURING DEFECT?) . We had to go through the place we got our counters to actually call this company, have them open the box and inspect the sink before shipping it. We had to go without a kitchen sink for almost a month. After it was finally in, I would give it 4 stars, it's a nice sink. | | | | |
