BUT beware: It comes completely UNASSEMBLED!You will be required to have experience in embroidering and you will need to sew all the pieces together.So, basically what I'm trying to explain is that you need to make every figure from scratch. (it comes with everything you'll need: thread, beads,numbered patterns...) Pretty hard if your experience level is not "expert".But if you know how to do all this, or have someone that can do it for you.... you will simply LOVE how gorgeous and detailed they are! Always have enough sequins and thread. I bought 2 of these kits, but only had time to finish 1 before Christmas, they are a bit time consuming. The person who received it loved them. Bucilla really does have top quality kitsJanuary 6, 2013 I am continually impressed by the high quality of Bucilla craft kits. This kit was very fun to make and had clear instructions and the parts were easy to use. The kit made adorable little holders, I used them to hold little treats and gifts rather than silverware. I think almost any age could make these items, from about age 8 on up, with proper adult supervision. They would make a very fun project for a scout troop around the winter holidays. There are lots of things and technics involved to get the final result. And as many people have already mentioned the instructions are not the best but they give u the main directions what to do and and u can finish the rest by looking at the pic of the wreath. But if u are patient enough and like to create some fun stuff then it will be a fun project for u. And the result will be rewarding! Too bad I couldn't finish mine by Christmas! But it's ok we will wait for the next one. Can't wait to hang it on my front door and get tons of compliments for it! As with all Bucilla kits it works up easily and was a pleasure to make. I always use regular sewing thread for stitching everything down instead of one strand of embroidery thread. In my opinion the sewing thread really improves the look of the stitches. You do need some stuffing that is not included. The needle that is included is too big for some of the beads so you might want a beading needle. I also use embroidery needles instead of the included needle. By using multiple embroidery needles I can leave colors threaded on a needle instead of having to change thread in a single needle over and over. It is a real time saver for me. Lotsa work, but super cute!August 25, 2016 I made this for my sister for a Christmas present last year. She was so tickled! There were plenty of goodies on the wreath, so I didn't need to make every piece of candy, which saved a little time. I moved things around a little in order to effectively use the items I did make, I've attached a picture of my creation =) Loved making this wreathMarch 4, 2016 Loved making this wreath. It took about 3 weeks to finish. I had never done anything like that, but love sewing. I cut all fabric out, but left the small numbers on, to assemble easier. I put all needed material to make Star, Candy Cane etc in to baggies and finished one item at a time. It was easier for me, also as needed, I used a bit of glue to put small felt pieces on candy cane. I used Quilt batting for wreath, it was easier to cut. Wonderful project. Great DIY wreath with good guidance!November 29, 2015 This was amazingly fun to do, but BEWARE it takes time! If you are wanting a ready-to-go wreath, look elsewhere. I love arts and crafts and sewing so it was something I did after work for an hour or two for several weeks as a peaceful "winding down the day" project. Super cute results and the directions are clear and helpful - I ended up not adding EVERYTHING they gave and making some changes but I'm very happy with my end result! | These are HUGE!!July 26, 2015 Easy pattern and relatively painless to make but these things are HUGE. The Santas are 7.5 inches tall and the Mrs Santas are over 6 inches. My plan was to use these as tree ornaments and the backing allows you to do that but they are out of proportion to "normal" ornaments. The grandkids may just use them as dolls. I bought 2 packs of cotton balls and all the left over pieces of fabric for filling up to the middle. After I finished it, I thought it was a bit childish? I have a little kid so it's ok but for adult? Nope. Pretty but,requires lots of time and sewing.November 30, 2015 Very pretty wreath, but requires a lot of time and sewing. I couldn't handle all the sewing, so on the details I did what someone else recommended and used glitter paint in a bottle. It still is nice this way too. Haven't finished it totally yet. Enjoyed the kit.September 5, 2015 Had fun making this. All the pieces were there to complete the kit. I did change one thing. The instructions say to get a piece of cardboard and put it in between the front and backing to hang up as a wreath. I did not think cardboard would be sturdy enough and maybe, you would get one years use out of it. I had my husband use the backing as a template and cut a 1/4 thick piece of wood for support. I had him cut the wood slightly smaller than the felt circle. I glued the pieces on either side of the wood and then whip stitched the edges closed.very stury and will hold up in storage and use. The directions said to stuff the wreath, but,it was such a tight fit with either cardboard or wood I didn't think it would look good and would distort the shape of the wreath. I would have given this 5 stars except for the cardboard bit. Most people don't have access to thick enough cardboard to hold the wreaths shape and for durability. SUPER CUTE kit, easy enough to put togetherMarch 24, 2015 I bought this kit as an avid sewer and crafter, thinking I would have plenty of time to finish it before Christmas. I started the project more than a week ago, and the instructions are a bit confusing, but given the picture I think I can figure it out. The picture looks so cute I can hardly wait to finish it! I think it would take me 2-3 months though, as I work full time and this is a side project. I plan to purchase some of my own thread, as it doesn't look to be enough, as well as some light batting, which isn't included. I'd give it as a gift in its finished state for sure, but probably not as a kit due to the time and complicated directions. Hope that was helpful! Beautiful but time consumingJanuary 17, 2015 These Bucilla wreaths are so beautiful when finished. There is so much detail it is amazing. However, I would not order if I didn't know at least some basic sewing. These are also very time consuming. My mom made mine and she has been a seamstess for many years, but it still took her a long time to complete each wreath. I gave this to a coworker for a Christmas gift and she just loved it. then it's fine. AlsoDecember 6, 2014 I read reviews and some said there was not enough thread. I did run out of the light green, but luckily had that color on hand. I was careful to do each stitch as stated in the directions, so as not to use more than they suggested, but I was still short of that color. A couple of the stitch lines in the pattern represented colors that were different from that pictured, and it was difficult at times to distinguish what color the marking represented, but if you don't care that it match the picture perfectly, then it's fine. Also, the needle they gave was too big to fit through a lot of the beads, but luckily there were plenty of extras that did fit - it was just aggravating to try 3 or 4 beads and none would go past the eye. Overall the quality of the product was good and I would (and did) purchase more Bucilla items. | | | |

I made it through the individual leaves (cut, embroidered, and sewn) wreath, ginger bread man ( cut, embroidered, stuffed, sewn, beaded), and one candy cane ( cut, sewn, stuffed, beaded) in a month and a half.Although it's cute I don't think I'll ever finish it. Way too time consuming.
