I don't know why all the complaint reviews. This is an ample sized, compact, sturdy and comfortable bench for my keyboard. At a great price. Love it!

Very comfortable, good size (not short side to side like some benches), sturdy enough to support my heavy mother. Very happy with my purchase.

For the price, it is very well made. The only thing is that to adjust the stool one must unscrew a bolt to do it. Since we don't travel with the stool this is a non-issue. Also it holds 250lbs. Many of these stools do not. Read the fine print before you buy.

I love my new keyboard bench it was easy to put together a great price and its big enough for me and my teacher to sit on.

This is a sturdy, well-made bench with a good amount of padding. No bells or whistles, just solid. Only drawback is that adjusting the height is cumbersome since you have to remove a bolt and 2 washers, then replace at desired height. Otherwise, great bench!

I wasn’t looking for a cheap but solid piano bench and this fit the bill perfectly. Arrived in great condition and assembled easily (way easier than most furniture; just attach the legs) storage space is a nice feature and it is moderately comfortable; what you’d expect for the price. The bottom of the storage is a little thin bud should hold up to a lite load of sheet music and books. I am a smaller guy (165lbs) and feel it would be pretty narrow for two people to do a duet but it’s great for solo. Overall I am pleased with the quality of product and the price i paid

For an affordable piano bench, the quality is surprising. The legs were somewhat difficult to tighten, but once everything was snug, it turned out to be a high value mainstay for our music room. Highly recommended.

A pretty good piano bench for the money. So far, I haven't had any issues with it other than an occasional tightening.

This was a beautiful, solid, and chic new adition to our music room. It fit perfectly under our piano, there was a good amount of storage space inside and it came quickly. It has kids bouncing on it all day long and it hadn't shown any signs of damage after over 2 months at least. The color is beautiful and works well with our black piano. I would buy this again.

Exactly what I was looking for! Appears to be good quality. Great appeal and sturdy. Easy to assemble and love that it opens. Great purchase. Would recommend.

It's really nice. Although it came smelling of chemicals so I sprayed it with vinegar mixed with soap & water. & it smells normal. After you spray with vinegar you can use a regular spray & or an air freshener. Vinegar can be used on faux leather. This chair is much nicer than expected!!!

Wide, sturdy, adjustable seat. Easy to put together but a bit of a hassle to adjust and fold up...requires the removal of a bolt with washers. I would not recommend this for a working musician who sets up and loads out frequently.

The wide cross base helps kid not tipping over. One star is taken away becoz the bench isn't wide enough for 2 people, we need that to play duet. It's huh enough for even 3 years old kids.

This bench was very simple to put together. It is comfortable to sit on. It seems sturdy and level. The only issues I have with it are that it sits fairly high. I am 5' 9" (175cm) and I need to have it on its lowest setting to sit comfortably with my knees and hips just slightly oblique of 90 degrees (see pic). The lowest setting puts the top of the seat cushion about 18.5" (47cm) off the ground. The cushion compresses maybe half an inch. The next highest setting raises the seat to about 21" (53cm), which would probably also be fairly comfortable to play from. The other two settings are 22.5" (57cm) and 24" (61cm) which may work for a stage setting if you wanted to be almost standing but more comfortable or for sitting if you are quite a lot taller than me. The lowest setting might be very slightly lower than most wooden piano benches I have used. It does not adjust quite perfectly with the keyboard stand I bought, but I won't fault the bench for that. For the price, I think it works just fine. Finer height adjustment would be nice, but the settings it does have can be changed quickly and easily without tools. It isn't perfect, but it is very budget friendly. Had I paid more, I would have given it three stars, but I think the price of the product should be factored in to the rating in its favor.

100% SATISFIED! I use it for a desk chair for a folding table. Padding is fantastic seat for the big bottom - not a disappointment. Thick without being too firm. Easy to put legs to the bench - follow diagram and NO PROBLEM and quick; no tools needed. Plan to get more to use for community volunteer activities instead of folding chairs. Much better than a folding chair. And WAY more comfortable. Highly, Highly, Highly recommend to anyone looking to finally find a comfortable (easily) portable seat. And there are 4 adjustments on this model to raise and lower height to your comfort level. Quality of what I got is like furniture and not like a cheap do it yourself put together from a superstore. Sturdy to sit on with confidence. Weight more than 250 might be too much for the legs to hold - (changed review from 5 stars to 4 stars for a bend problem).

this is not the most comfortable seat in the world. it is very annoying to readjust or collapse for transport. my other bench, albeit more comfortable, could be adjusted and collapsed quite easily, but was not as reliably sturdy, so i guess it's a trade off. it is very sturdy and reliable. solid starter bench, especially if you dont have to move it around a lot or adjust it often.

I wish there was more padding in the seat, which is the only reason it didn't get 5 out of 5 stars. I can totally feel the buttons. Although, placing a couple of folded blankets on top gave it enough cushion to sit on for longer periods of time. The top material is some type of soft vinyl that protects it when something is spilled on it. It came with its own wrench, albeit a really silly little one, but I keep it in the bench to tighten up the nuts about twice now, every 6 months. Very sturdy as well. Can hold at least 250 pounds (113 kg), I bet it would hold up to 300 lbs (136 kg) even. The wood legs are still shiny black with no dings or scuffs after daily usage. Is amazing to use as a piece of bedroom furniture, near the closet or at the foot of the bed; very versatile. Lid lifts up and down smoothly, it stays up in the vertical position. The storage space can hold a lot of books.9/10 would buy again, unless there is a huge discount on a better cushioned bench with the same design.

This piano bench went very well with the Williams Rhapsody electronic piano that I bought. The only issue that I have run into is that the legs become loose over time but can easily be tightened again.The overall build quality for this piano bench is satisfactory for the price.Williams Rhapsody 2 88-Key Console Digital Piano

Very Good bench for the money. Love that I can keep my sheet music somewhere organized that isn't on some table/horizontal surface near the piano. Comfortable enough to use for decent playing times, I haven't tried sitting on it for more than and hour and a half or so.The buttons are a little hard, they usually don't bother me when playing, but on a rare occasion if I need to slide because I'm using a different side of the piano I'll "notice" them.

This is a very good bench for the price. I am 250 pounds and it is very sturdy with me seated. The storage compartment bottom is a bit flimsy, so i wouldn't put much music inside but the overall strength of the structure is fine unless you are very heavy (like more than 300 lbs).

I like the chair. This is the cheapest you'll find for a piano bench that has storage - even with the hefty shipping. I was thinking of getting a regular ottoman type bench with storage but the height would be so much shorter. This bench is just a good height with the digital piano i have. It's tat low (~1 inch) for my taste but it's pretty standard for the piano bench heights. easy to assemble, sturdy. I haven't used it long enough to see how long the fake leather padding last.

UPDATE: I really didn't want to ruin my other bench...or end up with useless leftover pieces... so I found a better solution. I just switched the brackets where the legs attach to the seat. Now I can loosen the knob and fold the bench flat. Done deal.

I need a taller bench than the standard On-Stage type, as I am not a tall person (ahem)... This is great for the extra height, and the larger seat is nice too. BUT... I agree with the other reviewers about the knock-down problem. It's a real pain to screw around with the bolt and nut and washers and try to line up the holes, etc. on a dark stage. I'm actually going to adapt these legs to my On-Stage seat so that I can have everything attached and just lift the legs into place. I'll end up with a whole bench worth of leftover useless pieces but oh well. I need to be able to load in and out quickly without dropping or losing parts and be comfortable when I play. Whoever designed this is obviously not a gigging musician.

Decent product, but not stable enough for children who don't know how to sit still. Children are 4 and 6 and sometime lean forward or back and the bench falls over. Never had an issue with a four legged bench. Other than that the product is well made, just not sturdy enough for our kids.

It takes a couple minutes to adjust. I was hoping it would have a lever or bolt that would pop in and out to quickly adjust for my students. Otherwise it does what it's supposed to do.

Good seat but the pad is all wrinkled and the wrinkles won't go away. Not a big deal unless your butt doesn't like to sit on wrinkled cushions.

The buttons that are in the cushion hurt to sit on.I would say that for the price it is a pretty reasonable product though.

This bench is just ok - not very sturdy. It already wobbles and does not feel like it will last. I like it because it is comfy to sit on and has storage

Legs feel loose even after tightening several times.

Before I bought it I read people's reviews of the buttons popping off and took my chances. I've had mine for 2 years and I've lost one button. I wouldn't buy an upholstered one again if it's at the lowest price point like this one. On the up side, I can scoot back and forth, utilizing all the keyboard's octaves, and it serves me very well. I like having a real wooden bench with storage and this suits that need. My favorite songbooks are inside the bench. The price was right. It sure beats the adjustable metal benches from Guitar Center.

This is shiny and provides storage and dual sitting places. Looks very good. My wife loves the way it looks in the living room. However, this bench doesn't strike me as being heavy-duty or resistant to the least abuse. I have another bench I bought for my upstairs piano that is not so fancy, doesn't have storage, doesn't seat two comfortably, but strikes me as being more sturdy. It's the On Stage KT 800 Keyboard Bench. I would give the On Stage one five stars because I like it's stability and durability. For example, I would stand on the On Stage bench; I would not stand on this one. There are obviously trade offs.Update: I have recently posted a YouTube video comparison of this piano bench with the On Stage Stands KT 7800. After having used the TMS bench for a month now, I take away a star or two for comfort and durability. Bench itself appears to be in good condition, sturdy after being assembled. Gave it three stars because a part was missing. This was a Christmas gift, so I couldn't gift it until almost two weeks after Christmas.

I'm kind of scared to use it as I'm rather large and it is supported by plastic attachments and 1/2 inch screws probably into 3/4 inch particle board. There was no weight limit defined on product.Also height is adjusted by taking bolt completely out of crossover joint.

we got our chair on Oct 20, 2015 for our 5 yo son. It looks nice and durable, But after 3 months of sitting on this chair the leg from one side banded inside. the quality is so poor. For this maount of money I wish I can buy a strong and decent chair!!!!

The piano bench looks nice and was not damaged upon arrival, but it did not come with the hardware necessary for assembly. Missing 4 nuts (and 4 washers) needed to put the legs on. We will need to go out and find hardware that works.

The bench does not look bad and fits two thin adults comfortably however the buttons do hurt my ankle if I sit cross-legged. The under-seat compartment is useful but it is also poorly built. Poor quality for the price I paid (~$50)

Keeps wobbling. The nuts do not want to hold fast.

It's pretty but VERY cheap. Leg broke the first day we had it. Company was nice and sent a new leg but we have to baby this thing now.

I know it was inexpensive - but two of the buttons on top came undone just by sitting on it - I glued one back and forced the otehr back on - still good price and does the job

The bench broke only a few weeks after I purchased it. It collapsed while I was sitting on it and it could've been a very dangerous situation. I didn't even go over the weight limit (I am 125lb) or put something heavy on top of the bench. It left a huge bruise on my knee. Unacceptable.

Very dissatisfied with this product. The bench has repeatedly collapsed beneath me within several weeks of purchase. I don't believe this is my fault, as I have had good luck assembling other items of furniture and don't weigh that much. A good number of other reviewers seem to have had positive experieces with this bench, but I certainly have not myself.

yall disappointed me on this product! Doesn't hold up falls to ground the adjuster is loose still when you tighten it! the bench is impossible to connect to the poles cause one is on the opposite side of the bench holder, don't know whats going eith with the reviews but this can't be the picture product

THIS PRODUCT IS TERRIBLE! Broke within a few weeks! Can't take any amount of weight. Don't be like me, thinking that its cheap and it should be fine. No. It sucks and will be a complete waste of money. DO NOT BUY!

beware!!! One of the legs buckled after just a month! I'm about 6 2 220 and I guess it's just not strong enough. However the seat is comfortable.

I bought two of these and assembled them as tightly as possible. They were left in practice rooms at my school to be used regularly. A leg broke on both of them within a month. The construction seems to not be super flimsy. I neglected to return them during the window. I am hoping they send me replacement legs. They look very nice though.

Piano bench came with mold and missing the screws for the legs.

very rickety and one screw was not long enough to put thought and tighten the leg so the bench wobbles the entire time you are on it.

It came broken. Whem i called for a replacememt they offered 50% discount, but the item could not be used as is. They then offered me a full refund. I dod not order a new one because it was too flimsy. It was very pretty, wish it was sturdier

I just received this in the mail today and it's completely damage there's a huge tear on the outside this is on acceptable .

I purchased the bench brand-new when I took it out of the box the entire thing was moldy! I had to spend time cleaning disinfecting and then protecting it I'm still waiting for the odor to go away. Since it was a birthday present I did not have time to hassle with returning and waiting for a new one.
