Four Star Reviews: | 10% Excellent to use with your liquid foundation April 13, 2017 I mix the oil in with my liquid foundation and my skin feels soft and has an all-day glow. Four stars because the dropper does not work well. Outside of that it was a great value and so much cheaper than ordering or buying from fancy cosmetics companies. good product December 30, 2016 I was very happy about the speedy shipment of the product after my order. I am satisfied with the rosehip oil. It is a little to oily to use aloneon my skin but am now mixing it with my regular moisturizer and that works better for my skin. My skin does feel softer and more hydrated and I will continue to use this product. Great for Hydration, night serum. December 21, 2016 I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY DISCOUNT FOR THIS PURCHASE! I like to know reviews are voluntary. I also like to wait and truly try a product before reviewing. That being said, I've used this product for several months now ( it lasts forever!) by applying about 6-8 drops to my fingertips and patting it into my skin. I also use argon oil. My skin is much more hydrated and wrinkles have been held at bay. At 52 I have only some wrinkling around my eyes and I want to keep it that way! I have a combination dry/oily skin and there’s only very few moisturizers in the market that I can use with great results but comes with a price. My ultimate goal is to replace my own moisturizer with natural oils completely and utterly. At this point, I think I’m halfway because I actually can use this at night with none of my moisturizer and my skin feels baby soft in the morning. Though the T part is still a problem so far but maybe I just need to add something else to my homemade serum (with this as a carrier) for more moisturizing effect. I still use my regular moisturizer in the morning but once I find that “something more to add to my serum”, I trust I can use it for both morning and night thus attaining my dream of making my very own essential oil moisturizer! 4 stars because of the T part unmoisturized issue but definitely will recommend. Not all bottles I have bought online come with them and you have to purchase them separately. I read the review about the smell being a little funny so I knew what I was getting. You can mix it with other products or essential oil, as it does have a cooking oil scent to it. It's an orange color. Otherwise it sinks in nicely and my skin seems to like it. Based on the weird smell, I might try another brand in the future though. First bottle of rosehip oil August 26, 2017 If I use too little, it does not leave my skin moisturized. If I use more, then it does not absorb well and leaves me looking very oily. It is light amber color with a strong woody smell which I think is expected so no complaint there. Overall, 3.5 stars. I like the oil June 11, 2017 I like the oil, but the top is so screwy. No matter how i tighten it, it still leaks. I usually have to put it in a ziploc bag when traveling. I use the oil to keep my face moistured. I also heard it was good for fading marks. But, I really haven't noticed any drastic changes in my blemishes. Rosehip oil and allergies don't mix January 27, 2016 I was so excited to receive the Rosehip oil after reading all the positive reviews. I put it on my dry skin and it was like Botox in a bottle. My face looked years younger and I loved it. My joy was short lived when over the next week, I began to have trouble sleeping. Since I have allergies and intolerances, I began to eliminate one substance after another to discover the cause. After five days, being totally exhausted I decided not to put the oil on to see if it caused the reaction. Sure enough, it was the Rosehip oil. I have since tried using it several times with the same reaction -- I am wide awake until the wee hours of the morning. I so love the oil, but alas I cannot use it. I am giving it to a friend and I'm sure she will love it. Not sure yet August 26, 2015 this is my first review...I don't know about the quality or results yet. This is a very messy oil...or maybe it is the dropper that makes it messy. It is not a great quality dropper. I disagree that is is light and absorbs well. It feels heavy. I have used essential oils that are light and absorb well...but not this particular rose hip oil. I feel the need to blot the excess film of oil...and I feel greasy. I would not use it as part of my daily moisturizer if I wear makeup. my suggestion is to use it with your nightly moisturizer before bed. August 5, 2015 Ok, you guys. I used this for oil cleansing (and I use a microfiber towel damped in warm water to rinse it off). Then I would cleanse my face with raw honey right after. And then I would use two drops of this as my moisturizer, wait for my face to dry, then apply Vitamin C serum. I stopped breaking out with cystic acne HOWEVER this may be because I no longer use detergent to wash my face, and I'm letting my natural oil layer come back to life to protect my skin. I used it over the course of two weeks. I saw improvement on decreasing redness of my face. But it didn't clear out my acne marks -- which what I was aiming for. But this may be because I only used it through the course of two weeks.Why two weeks -- because this thing OXIDIZED QUICKLY because of the bottling. Like you have to open it, to use the squeezing thing which exposes it in the air WHICH IS BAD. I plan to buy another Rosehip Oil AND transfer it to a dark bottle with a pump on it so I won't have to open it. This thing is delicate. Don't even try to take out of the fridge. I may buy mine from Mountain Rose Herbs because of how everybody praises their stuff. But I have a feeling it's the same. September 3, 2017 This is heavy, sticky, and smells terrible, and it is strong. It smells like West African Shea Butter which has a putrid order. I purchased this product because it had so many buyers. Ive bought different Argan oils in the past and this is my probably my least favorite. Yes, It comes in a dark bottle, but the actual oil is somewhat clear and not the consistency of real "pure" Argan oil. Argan oil should be thick and with a yellowish tinge. Not for me... September 8, 2016 Not impressed with this oil & the dropper delivery system. The dropper is leaky & the oil gets all over everywhere when I have tried to use it. I thought perhaps at first it was because it was a full bottle, but it has continued every time I've used it. Or maybe I'm a klutz & not used to this system. The oil itself is thin & runny - not what I've used in the past. Perhaps it's because this is 'triple extra virgin' & I'm unfamiliar with it. It seems like I'm using 3 times as much to get the same effect in my hair. I also prefer the pump bottle I've used before. I will be returning this. It seems like it could be a good product just definitely not for me. Still not sure April 7, 2016 So I did a lot of research on pure, authentic Cosmetic Moroccan Argan Oil before purchasing this. I had purchased from another seller previously but wasn't 100% sure that it was authentic. This checked off a lot of the signs like a dark glass bottle, and even had the slightly nutty smell (the previous seller's argan oil smelled like nothing at all which made me wary although it was in a dark plastic bottle). The problem I have with this product is that when I put it in my hair, which is the purpose of my purchase, it left my hair looking and feeling too oily. I have very thick long hair and I did not feel like I used much and it was way too oily in my hair. The previous seller's oil left my hair feeling and looking soft but not oily. So i guess I am still on the search for an oil that fits my needs. I think I may give this to a friend to see if it has a different effect on their hair or skin. Updated February 1, 2016 I totally love this oil. I use a few drops in my hair before blow drying, and at night, I use it as a facial moisturizer. It's very effective at properly moisturizing my face and always leaves me with soft, SHINY hair.UPDATE: after purchasing my second bottle of this oil, I'm pretty disappointed. My new bottle smells awful, absolutely like a skunk, but my first bottle had no scent. I'm not sure if they sent me a defective product or what. Also, they changed the type of dropper included. The new one is horrible and obviously cheap. The rubber top is so hard that I can't fill the dropper completely, and it immediately starts leaking when you pull it out of the bottle. The last 2 that we have gotten though have a bitter smell to it that isn't pleasing or soothing and does not smell like lavender. We use is for our special needs grandson who is deaf and blind and has a specific routine and certain smells to help him know what's going on. This lavender is the smell he has learned means it's bedtime. I hoped it was just a bad one when the first smelly one came but when the second one got here and smelt just as bad I was disappointed. We are now needing to look into finding a new brand. it doesn't really smell like lavender. August 16, 2016 I am an esthetician and use essential oils all day long. I was excited to order this and use it at home but disapointed when I opened it, it doesn't really smell like lavender... :( I've used a lot of different lavender oils but all of them smell very similar, this one just really doesn't smell like what I was expecting it to. On the other hand the bottle is big, and the packaging is nice. Ordered two other oils from them and they both smell great, guess I just wouldn't order the lavender one again. Not a PURE Essential Oil September 19, 2015 I am writing this review for the people that are looking for a PURE essential oil. If that is what you are looking for this is not it. Pure essential oils when dropped on a blotting paper will impregnate it, evaporate, and dispense, leaving no oily patch. I did this with this peppermint oil and it left an oily patch even after an hour. This usually means it is diluted with a carrier oil such as sweet almond oil or grape seed. "Essential Oils" is somewhat of a misnomer. As for the most part essential oils aren't oily. If you are looking for a pure essential oil this is not your product. I was applying this oil on my forehead acne scars every night before I went to bed. This oil doesn't smell the greatest. I haven't seen any results from using this product and eventually I just stopped. This oil's been sitting in my refrigerator for months. I've been using Radha's rosehip oil for a little while ... May 4, 2016 I've been using Radha's rosehip oil for a little while, and thought I'd try this brand out to see if there was a difference in quality since both products are very similar in price. Unfortunately, the oil that arrived was a pale yellow color and didn't have that rosehip oil smell that it should. Guess I'm going back to Radha. Skin irritation from this product. February 7, 2016 Have to revise my earlier review because after using for months I noticed my skin was irritated and I wasn't using anything else.When I threw it away skin got better. Maybe an allergic reaction, don't know, just isn't good for my skin. Not 100% December 17, 2015 This is definitely not 100% rosehip oil. It should be a dry oil, meaning it absorbs completely into your skin without making it feel oily, but this oil definitely leaves a greasy residue on your skin. I'm sure there's a good amount of rosehip oil in there because it still makes my skin soft but it's definitely diluted. There are definitely more authentic products out there! Majestic Pures argan oil has a much stronger smell to it. The smell of pure argan oil isn't necessarily pleasant, but it's not unpleasant either. Also, this particular brand of oil seems to be somehow less effective in terms of absorption. All in all, I would stick with the brand I purchased before by Radha beauty products, its better all around and is $4 less expensive than this stuff. Just got in mail today and comparing them both there is big differences. Her product is crystal clear, no scent except a natural nutty aroma. Also on her bottle it says "organic".The majestic pure Argan oil had a lemon like smell to it. I expected a nutty aroma but I get a very strong lemon smell. Not too bad. The fact that this product is not crystal clear and has a slight yellow color has me skeptical. Also, in the sellers ad it states organic. Nowhere on the majestic pure Argan oil bottle does it say organic. Regardless, I will continue to use the product but, am already disappointed. The sellers ad lists the same stuff as the Josie Maran website but, both products are very different. I guess that's what I get for being cheap. Very annoyed because this is not 100% pure lavender oil and of course this is the one time i did not check. I use Fabulous Frannies and just ordered some woozlies and it helps my skin, every time I use this topically I notice I breakout! If an oil says external use only it most likely isn't pure.Lesson learned. If you only use oils for aromatherapy I guess youre okay with this product. Don't think you're making a pocket savvy choice buying this. I've had one bottle for 10 months, but that's because a little goes a long way with even fake essential oils. As the other one star reviews claim this product is VEGETABLE OIL or some other type of oil that has no business being on your face. I am a cosmetologist and very familiar with different oils. The consistency, the color, the smell (nada!), everything is off. Do not buy!!! You'd be better off going to a local shop. Rancid June 17, 2016 This oil is rancid. it had a weird smell when I opened the bottle. I have used it for about a week now. The smell is disgusting. It is rancid. In the trash it will go. There are 4 types of lavender I know of, I have 4 different types and this one, Now has a cheap lavender that’s better than this one, it’s not my favorite one, but I go through a lot of lavender, and the now brand is the cheap one I use for burning, but I don’t use it for therapeutic usages. This brand doesn’t have enough scent for burning for me. If they would have labeled it better, I might have tried for other uses, but as it is, I don’t want to use it for anything. I tried contacting the company to get a replacement and they said they didn’t have any and said they would give a “partial refund”. And said “hope that helps”. It doesn’t. Essential oil has to be dripped, not poured. It is not even close to the scent of any other lavender oil that I have ever used, and I am aware that there are many different varieties and they do not smell the same. I have a business making natural products and there is no way that I will use this oil in it. I just went to return it today (hadn't opened it right away because I was finishing up a previous bottle, different company) and I am a a few days past so now it will go to waste.
