| HydratingAugust 31, 2017 I use Trilogy Rosehip Oil in the morning before putting on moisturizer and also at night after cleansing my face. It makes my skin soft and well hydrated. I'm hoping it will help with lightening the pigmentation on my face. I've been using the product for about a month and plan on continuing to use it. Though the T part is still a problem so far but maybe I just need to add something else to my homemade serum (with this as a carrier) for more moisturizing effect. My face looked years younger and I loved it. My joy was short lived when over the next week, I began to have trouble sleeping. Since I have allergies and intolerances, I began to eliminate one substance after another to discover the cause. After five days, being totally exhausted I decided not to put the oil on to see if it caused the reaction. Sure enough, it was the Rosehip oil. I have since tried using it several times with the same reaction -- I am wide awake until the wee hours of the morning. I so love the oil, but alas I cannot use it. I used this for oil cleansing (and I use a microfiber towel damped in warm water to rinse it off). Then I would cleanse my face with raw honey right after. And then I would use two drops of this as my moisturizer, wait for my face to dry, then apply Vitamin C serum. I stopped breaking out with cystic acne HOWEVER this may be because I no longer use detergent to wash my face, and I'm letting my natural oil layer come back to life to protect my skin. I used it over the course of two weeks. I saw improvement on decreasing redness of my face. But it didn't clear out my acne marks -- which what I was aiming for. But this may be because I only used it through the course of two weeks.Why two weeks -- because this thing OXIDIZED QUICKLY because of the bottling. Like you have to open it, to use the squeezing thing which exposes it in the air WHICH IS BAD. I plan to buy another Rosehip Oil AND transfer it to a dark bottle with a pump on it so I won't have to open it. This thing is delicate. Don't even try to take out of the fridge. I may buy mine from Mountain Rose Herbs because of how everybody praises their stuff. But I have a feeling it's the same. I am only keeping it because winter is coming soon and it is very dry here so my reasoning is that it will help my skin during the winter months. But as of right now, I am breaking out like CRAZY. It does give off a lovely radiance- but that radiance is only accentuating the crazy acne all over my face.
