Great scissors. Everything was as described. The scissors were sharp and did the job. Very pleased!

These are ideally priced and really great for use for just about anybody. They are definitely high quality and I have enjoyed using them on my own hair (attacking split ends) and trims for my children. I recommend and you can't beat the price!

It's good to have a nice sharp scissors on hand to trim my bangs when I don't have time to make a hair appointment. Saves me time and money.

Recently decided to start cutting my own hair and realized I needed a pair of hair scissors. Found these on here and thought I would give them a try. I got them today and used them and I really enjoy them. I have never purchased hair scissors before so I don't really know what am looking for but they cut great and were pretty cheap so I will save tons on haircuts since all I really do is trim my ends but I'm sure these would work great for cutting all types of hair and styles. I use them to cut my bangs all the time and boy are they sharp!! The shipping and product are as described. It's a simple review, but you really can't go wrong with purchasing these shears. I've had these now for close to a year and I cut my bangs often. I've not had any problems and they've maintained quite well. Consider too: The price (currently $7.59) and the opportunity for free shipping. I would recommend these styling shears.

I give myself haircuts at home with the Creaclip and opted for these scissors because I couldn't see a real difference between them and the more expensive ones. I am thoroughly happy with these. They feel very solidly made (they are a surprising weight in your hand, in a good way) and are extremely sharp. My haircuts came out perfectly, they are sturdy, and they are cheap. What more could you ask for?

Got to cut hair of my baby boy. They are very sharp. Be careful cutting babies hair. From one hand they cut perfectly. From another hand, one wrong move and you can cut babies ear or something. I almost did.:-((( Just scratched. It is scary to thing that I could actually cut his ear off. Just be careful! Otherwise I recommend the product. It does the job. People always ask where I cut my boy's hair. But I do it myself! I used videos on youtube "How to cut baby boy's hair".
Then I got from Walmart a set of trimmers that looks like a pencil working on batteries. That one is quite safe. So I can trim the ends of my son's hair to make them look closer to perfection without.:-)

I volunteer at a service dog organization. I bought this set to groom the dogs there and I'm very happy with it. The shears are sharp, the thinners are great, and the case seems like good quality. The motion of the scissors seems smooth. I was able to groom three golden retrievers without the scissors hurting my fingers.

The comb that comes with the set is nothing special, just a normal pick comb. It's probably more useful on humans. I did appreciate the cleaning cloth, though.

My one problem was that one of the blue finger protectors popped out when I accidentally jammed my thumb in the wrong hole, but I am not marking down for that because it went back in and hasn't come out since.

Sharp scissors ! a bit small to hold comfortably...my hand size is above average so it's a bit tight to get a good grip...overall happy with the product!

These scissors are fine for trimming ends, but they weren't exactly what I was expecting. I was hoping for a sharper edged, larger, heavier weighted pair of shears. These feel more like the scissors my kids used in elementary school. I don't hate them, but I can't say that I highly recommend them. If you're looking for a pair of shears for hair cuts and trims -- I'd keep looking around.

The shears themselves seem to be sturdy, but I do wish they had come a little bit sharper. It's not that they don't cut the hair the first time, but I do feel like there is more resistance than there should be. However, I think for the price, it was a good buy. They do what they are intended to do.

I have coarse hair that I maintain at home. I am a "search and destroy" trimmer so I get a lot of use out of my shears. These are heavy, solid shears with a great blade. They are very sharp and comfortable to hold. I gave them 4 stars because they seem like they may degrade quickly with the level of use I typically have with my shears. Definitely worth it if you want a good pair of shears handy.

Great Thinning scissors, salon quality, and nice regular scissors, that come in a cheap case, but that doesnt really matter. Great oriduct especially for the money.

Perfect for my home hair cutting adventures. Scissors are sharp and well weighted. The case leaves a bit to be desired, I've scratched it already on the first time putting the scissors into the elastic.

I got these for my wife to try to give me a haircut. This was her first time cutting anyone's hair other then my dogs. It was actually the worst haircut I ever got, but at least my hair is shorter now. The scissors are of high quality, the case was a nice bonus feature. They are sharp, clean, new, etc. A bit shorter than I thought they were going to be... i.e. shorter in size than I am used to seeing at the salon. I recommend this product.

These are perfect for a mom of 4 (3 girls with longs hair and a toddler boy.) They are sharp and won't pull your hair. I cut all my kids hairs with these and even did a hair cut for myself. Turned out like a professional hair cut only for free. One downside in these is that the wholes to hold the scissors are a little bit small and i'm a petite mom. Once i took out the blue rubber from the openings it worked great.

These scissors are sharp and pretty study. The price is is reasonable for the package, but I have no idea why some company include accessory without explanation, the 2 plastic pin type.

Good scissors for the price! The only thing I noticed is the screw holding them together can come loose from the motion of cutting. Easy to just twist back into place though.

The first time I cut my hair they were fine. A little hard to get through my hair but fine. The 2-3 times were kind of tough but by the 4th time they were almost un-useable.

I bought this so that I didn't have to go get my bangs trimmed every 2 weeks. I have straight bangs, so trimming them is sort of a process. My kitchen shears were too scary to have near my eyeballs and my office scissors weren't sharp enough. Maybe my hair is thick or something, but sometimes when I use these scissors, they fold my hair instead of cutting it, kind of like if the blade wasn't sharp enough. I kind of find them useless if they aren't sharp enough to cut my hair. I still use them, because I would rather try than pay to get my bangs trimmed.

For some reason, I thought the handles would have a plastic or rubber coating. I was wrong.I'm left handed and these scissors are for righties, I guess because when i try to use my left hand they won't cut through the hair.I've used them twice (once on my 4B natural hair and once on my friends 3C hair). They definitely gets the job done.

The tapering scissor work good, the other ones work when I slighter cut the hair, but to cut straight across, it pulls the hair at the ends, hurts the customer. If the scissor had been hone and sharpen to the end: scissor would have had a number 1 rating.

I'm not a hairdresser nor have I ever given a haircut before, but these seemed to do the trick for simple haircuts for kids. There were a few times when the scissors didn't take to the fine baby hair and I had to try to cut it again, but otherwise they seem decent. I love the case it comes. Very simple and easy to store.

The scissors both of them need sharpening. I mean i didn't perfection for what i paid for them but it would of been nice to get sharp ones. I did cut my hair with them after using the aluminum foil sharpening method. They did what i needed them for. I tried cutting my daughters hair but i noticed they needed to get sharpened again. So i guess they need sharpening after a couple cuts.

It's not bad compared to the price. But if you cut your children's hair, you might as well purchase more expensive one. It doesn't cut smoothly at all.

Gives me split ends, not sharp enough

Like them the first couple times I used, but fell apart since then. I have to keep tightening the screw to hold together.

The sissores at wall mart work better for hair cutting then this one. This is good for construction paper not so much for hair.

I have used these about 2 times and already they appear dull. I could barely cut my son's hair tonight. Not worth the price. Invest in better shears.

Tried to trim my daughter's hair with it but it's not sharp enough. I bought it after reading good reviews but it is not a very sharp pair of scissors. They are ok to trims your bangs.

I bought these to trim the ends of my hair - I'm not a hairstylist, just a mom, unfortunately this pair of scissors was dull, so I had to wear an up-do. I rocked it! lol!

Not sharp at all ...

All is good except the scissors with teeth. I'm not sure if it's just me not knowing how to use it, but it damages the hair it doesn't-quite-cut, i.e. it is blunt and doesn't give a clean cut, thus stripping away the exterior of individual hair! If you want split-ends galore, then go at it. Not for me.

Honestly, while the product itself looks nice, the sheer blades weren't sharp enough to actually cut or thin hair. If not for that aspect, I'd give it 5 stars, but since they can't even function according to their purpose 2 stars will have to do, since they at least showed up on time and had a nice presentation.

These scissors were very dull when they arrived, and pulled my hair when I tried (unsuccessfully) to use them to cut my bangs. I have fine hair, but I can't imagine these working for any type of hair. I do not recommend them.

These shears can't even cut air

The contact between the blades is either too heavy or too light in different areas, which causes them to cut unevenly or even catch while cutting. Ive seen them cause split ends because of this. I exchanged the first pair for a second pair thinking I just got a damaged pair, but the second pair did the same thing. Cheap = waste of money.

If your looking for a pair of scissors that will absolutely not cut anything then these are what your looking for. Total useless scissors. Do not buy !!!!!

Awful! First of all, these came opened - not even remotely in the packaging just sliding all over the box. When I went to use them on my daughter's hair they were the most dull scissors ever and wouldn't cut - they just clipped her hair like a hairclip. I saw some reviews of the scissors being dull upon arrival, but I decided to take a chance since so many other reviewers spoke highly of them. Big mistake. Already sent back for a refund.

Very gritty right out the box. Kept bending hair first time use and pulling the hair.

My children's scissors are sharper than these. I would not recommend this product. I know the price is low for a good workable scissors, but this is no bargain.

Super dull shears, it broke the hair instead of cutting it.

Didn't receive all of the kit I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this product as I spent close to $16 on it and a I received were the scissors and the carrying case.

I have to get these scissors sharpened before I can use them on anyone's hair. The case is also cheap. There are definitely better brands on Amazon
