If you're a hunter with a trail camera, you NEED this!
October 9, 2017
Just used it this weekend to check my cameras in the field. I have a Samsung S6 Android and no problems. They recommend in the user guide to install a certain free file browser app. You open that app, then plug the device into your phone and it instantly pulls up your pics. You can view, save, delete, etc. Perfect for hunters with multiple cameras in the field and not a lot of time. No more carrying the iPad into the woods with me. This cheap little device is perfect. Also, it is fast. For example, one camera had 305 pictures on it. It took about 20 seconds to load them onto the phone for viewing from this device. (Saving is a separate operation.) I think that's pretty fast. I deleted the 305 pictures in about 10 seconds when I was done, and put my camera back up for more trail camera coverage. To save it may take a little more time, because then it is using your phone's resources as well. Anyway, if you're a hunter with a trail camera, you NEED this! (Assuming it is compatible with your phone)
Easy to use, crystal clear photos.

This is absolutely a great device. I have several game cameras and now I can take my phone and this device to each camera and view the SD card. It takes a few moments to load but it goes right to my photo app on my phone in its own folder. Just click and view. This also gives me the power to extreme zoom the photos for extra detail. The camera viewer loaded up with no issues and without me having to do anything. Crystal clear pictures that are easy to view. I used this on an Droid Maxx by Moto phone.
Great product
April 25, 2017
Prior to getting this SD card reader I would carry my laptop around with me. Often times, I would not even check my cameras until the batteries died because of this. Now, I just leave this card reader in my hunting backpack and its ready to go whenever I need it. It works very well, it is reliable and it transfers the pictures quickly. Naturally if you are trying to transfer videos it takes a little longer so I would suggest just transferring pictures to save time. Other than that, great product and I highly recommend it to anyone with a android.
Works great on my fathers android phone

Works great on my fathers android phone. He uses it with multiple different game cameras and never has a problem. He is able to have the pictures sent to his email and saved to his phone effortlessly.
What a great product!!

I wanted to wait until after deer season to give this a fair review. After using it everyday for since November 15th I can only say that the BoneView card reader is tremendous. Every morning I removed the SD card from my Moultrie 990i and replaced it with an empty card, then go back to my blind and review the pics on my Droid Turbo 2. This card reader worked flawlessly every time and I couldn't be happier. On the Droid phones you must go to SETTINGS, STORAGE, then UNMOUNT SD CARD prior to removing the reader from the phone. If you fail to do this you may mess up your SD card and you will have to reformat it prior to using it again.
Trail Cam Card Reader - Easy to Use and Very Clear Photos
September 16, 2015
Card reader works great with out S6 Samsung phone and 880 Moultrie cameras and Browning cameras (I forget the model, but they are less than a year old). We download the free file manager app as suggested in the instructions. Card reader is very easy to use and photos are very clear on our camera. The only thing that I don't like is it is a little slow viewing photos because you can't just "scroll" from one photo to the next. You have to go back to the folder after viewing each photo. It is possible that I have not figured out how to scroll yet. Someone please post up if there is a way to do it. Overall I am very happy with the card reader and would buy it again. On Edit 1: Apparently you can scroll through the photos by first copying all the photos from the card to the phone. Then you can scroll from photo to photo much quicker. On edit 2: I had downloaded the wrong free file manager app from Play Store.I incorrectly downloaded: "File Manager"I should have downloaded: "File Manager (file transfer)" as correctly stated in the instructionsThe Bone View card reader works perfectly now and I can easily scroll from photo to photo. The seller was VERY responsive and helpful and I highly recommend this product.

Caught burglars in action
August 13, 2016
One month after purchasing this unit, my cabin was broken into. Although my indoor security system (Piper NV) failed to capture video because the crooks smashed it, I had one of these units affixed to a tree outside. It caught them breaking in and carrying out an item. The Sheriff who took the report was very impressed by the quality of the video footage it captured.
Very handy! Work great, no complaints.
August 7, 2016
Love these cameras! Glad to have got another during the big amazon sale. Now we have full coverage for the house and the private road we share with neighbors. We get a snapshot (or video) of every vehicle that comes and goes -- very handy as we have already helped catch a burglary suspect! The pictures were clear enough for the Sheriff Dept to enlarge and get the license plate and an idea of what the guys in the truck looked like. Handy for seeing what wildlife are coming around also - with our first one we have many deer, a bear, bob cat, coyotes, foxes, and mountain lion three times, along with the neighbors dog and a couple feral cats :) If you set on video mode remember to check more often as the data card is not humongous but with a 6 megapixel camera that focuses to 45 feet that is a minor concern.
these have been the best of all the lower end cameras
January 14, 2016
These cameras have turned out the "best for the price cameras". I have tried several other brands but, these have been the best of all the lower end cameras. From my experience with the camera, I have two suggestions: you might want to set the sensitivity on the camera to "low" before you put it out or it picks up leaves falling, grass swaying, etc. (Unless your going to put it looking over an open field. But, keep in mind these cameras are very sensitive on normal and high). Also, try not to face the camera such that the morning sun shines directly towards it. That messes with it's ability to switch from IR back to regular camera mode. The images will either look basically white (although you can still see what's in the picture) or it will have a glare. I'm in Tennessee and I mount mine either facing North or South or locate it such that a thick section of woods will block the sun. After the sun has risen off the horizon, this issue goes away. The daytime pictures are crystal clear. The night photos are not awesome but, I can see what I'm looking for. At night, I do get a lot of blurred pictures if the animal is not standing still but, like I said the image is good enough for my purposes.
Battey life, unimaginable.
September 28, 2015
I order the 8 MP version of this camera last Feb 19th 2014. I installed 8 ea LI batteries. I replaced the same batteries as installed, Feb 2014, in mid July of this year. I'm guessing approximately 10,000, or more, pictures were taken. It was not unusual to get 30 to 40 pics in a 24 hour period. It was directed toward our bird feeder most of the time. We live in an undeveloped suburban neighborhood, surrounded by trees and scrub brush. Deer, aplenty, as well as all sort of 4 legged creatures. Great product...... I purchased two more. One for our backyard and the other for my son, who lives in Brentwood TN. Hopefully these less expensive versions will give similar batter life. Will comment as time passes.
This trail camera works!
July 30, 2015
I have had other trail cameras, Simmons, Wild Game. They took decent pictures, when they worked, IF they worked!I watched small game, fox and raccoon, walk right by them and they did not take a picture. The only thing worse than not having a tool ishaving one that does not work. These cameras were not dependable! The Bushnell 6MP Trophy Cam Essential Trail Camera WORKS, first time, every time, all the time!! It takes good pictures too.Buy one, you won't be disappointed.
Excellent camera.

Simple for the technical challenged
September 18, 2016
New to trail cams but knew needed something to view pictures in the field at multiple locations without carrying a tablet or computer. Purchased a SD card reader for computer but after review wish should have saved the $$. Product works great with my Kyocera. Product automatically shows it is attached and launches into the file manager how simple is that! Did take a little research to learn to delete/erase SD card from phone but am technology challenged. For the price would recommend.
the price was great, and it is compatible with my Galaxy S5
February 8, 2016
I bought it for my husbands phone which is a galaxy s4 mini. I of course double checked if it was compatible. The list and the troubleshooter app both said it was. When it didnt work i contacted seller he said he was working on the mini. Ok. So i gave it 4 stars because, it wasnt compatible even though it said it was, the price was great, and it is compatible with my Galaxy S5, and the seller was quick to answer my questions. I would buy again 🙌
Good directions on setting it all up
November 30, 2015
Worked as described. No more waiting to look at pictures. I pulled the cards out and viewed them while on stand. You need to download an app to your phone to make the reader work. The app has two versions. One free and the other was 3.99. The free only lets you view only. The 3.99 lets you edit and share photos by email and text. Its a must have if youre into trail cams. Gave 4 stars due to having to buy the 3.99 app to get full function. Good directions on setting it all up.
Super easy to use; convenient for the hunter
November 24, 2015
Bought for my husband to check his game cams with. It was a hassle to take his laptop with him to the woods every time he went. So far, he loves it. He has used it a few times without any problems. The only reason I didn't rate it five stars is because he said he didn't like the order that the pictures downloaded to his phone. There may be some way to re-organize them, we just have not figured it out yet.
Good Products
November 4, 2015
Use this on my Samsung Galaxy S5. I always seem to break cameras and cant see spending $60-$100 for a card viewer just to check trail camera pictures so figured I'd try this out. I like this cause its small and simple. Only down side and its most likely my phone is its a little slow loading pictures. other than that its great I like being able to load and save my pictures to my phone.
Great product Great customer service
October 22, 2015
This specific model did not work on my Note 4. I performed all the suggestions through the app and help section on the site but couldn't get my phone to recognize the device. I contacted the company for help with the issues and he sent me a different model after a couple emails back and fourth that tried to get this model to work. It was great having someone who was so eager to help. The new model number is 1BD024. I suggest you find this one if you have a Note 4. It worked perfectly after I downloaded an app that would play the .avi extension. It will play, download to your phone, delete, and format your card all from your phone. I carried around a small camera to view photos in the field before but still had to bring it home to put in my laptop to save the pics and then transfer them to my phone so that I could show to other hunters. All these extra steps have been eliminated with this small device. Plus the camera wouldn't view cards that had multiple folders.Once again great product and excellent customer service. I would have given five stars if it would have worked upon initial delivery.

They work and get the job done.
June 17, 2017
The camera works pretty well. Wish they could replace the double A batteries with triple A batteries. The resolution is good and night vision distances are acceptable. One of my Bushnells picked up a black bear in my side yard at 8:20 pm one night in August. It was dark and the bear was 60+ feet away. No I'm not being payed for this review.

August 9, 2016
Works as expected. Only issue was that it doesn't work with a memory card larger than 32G and I tried a 128G and it didn't work. Took me a little time to figure out that's what it was. The instructions recommend a 32G but don't say it won't work with larger so just keep that in mind and order a 32G card with it. Haven't messed with all setting but video and pics have both been pretty much exactly as expected.
Our fifth 6MP Bushnell Trophy Cam
July 14, 2016
We have four of these cameras that we have bought at different times and a couple of other Bushnell's more advanced cameras. We have been pleased with all of the Bushnell products, they probably are not the greatest, but we have them to be consistent. The oldest 6 MP we have, and it is still in use and is seven years old. We bought a Moulterie and it didn't work out of the box and we received TERRIBLE customer service, shipped it back to Moulterie and never heard from them again, since then we have been dedicated Bushnell camera fans. We also like keeping the brand consistent so that the open and close, remove the card (particularly on a cold day) is consistent across the cameras. The fancier Bushnell's are nice, but the 6 MP is a work horse.

February 1, 2016
For the money, this camera works great except that alkaline batteries won't hold up long at all in freezing temperatures. I didn't pay attention to the type of batteries to use though??? I purchased lithium, hope this fixes that problem. Another issue is that the menu sometimes takes a minute or two to come on. If lithium works for at least 6 months, I would recommend this product. I'll try and comment after 6 months about whether or not lithium works better. Alkaline (8 batteries) lasts about 2 weeks in freezing temperatures.
Fun product. Very good quality.
October 6, 2015
Bought this to capture images and video of the wildlife at my cabin. Package arrived quickly, though with dented packaging that concerned me. But no damage to the product itself. Directions were fairly easy to follow and after a couple days if trial and error, got it to work very well. The strap was not completely effective at holding the camera up on the tree. Had to wrap it a couple times to get it to hold, but once in place it didn't budge too much. Have had it out in the rain and it appears to be rainproof as advertised. Daytime pictures/video surprisingly clear. Recommend 15-20 sec duration for video capture. Night time pix lower quality, but certainly able to easily identify the elk, deer, skunk and squirrels. Kinda fun to see what we could capture in our property. Very good quality for the price. Recommend it to wildlife enthusiasts. After seeing a pattern in the date stamped images, we were able to determine the deer's routine of coming through our property at predictable times, which I imagine would also be helpful to hunters.
Great buy for sub $100
January 1, 2015
This camera really seems to excel on the detection circuitry. The photo clarity and flash range isn't as good as my browning camera's, nor is the user interface as good, or the strap for securing it to a tree. But it takes a pretty good photo day and night. It also seems to last a long time on a set of batteries. Several thousands of photos thus far on a set of lithium batteries. It gets the job done, and for less than $100 it's a great buy. You can get the superior browning camera's for $130, but I don't feel they pick up movement as well. Good, but not as well.

Works good. My only complaint is that the app you need to download for viewing messes up some different applications, and somehow we are back to where we have to click on each individual picture and can't just swipe through them like we originally could.
Not compatible with all devices. Check compatibility before buying!
February 9, 2016
I recently bought this to take with me when I go out to check my trail cams. It did not sync with my Samsung Rugby phone, although that phone is a little outdated. I connected it to my Samsung Tab Pro however, and it worked like a dream. I would highly suggest checking to see if your phone is compatible with this product before buying it. After I found a compatible device it made checking the cams a lot easier.
It's Okay...not really what I wanted to be able to do with it.
October 25, 2015
Maybe it's just me, I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and a Kindle Fire HD. Can't get it to work on my Kindle. Got pictures to come up on my phone after downloading the suggested apps, but I can't scroll through them. I have to go back and select a different picture to view each time. It would be nice and a lot quicker if you could scroll the whole set of pictures loaded from the SD card...
Pros and Cons
October 21, 2015
Pros : This product does exactly what it says. Will work with most android phones. The instructions were correct, no issues with file transfers, viewing was easy.Cons: this is not an easy way to view alot of pictures. While the product works, the process sucks. You have to click on each picture, click on your Gallery to view. Got a couple hundred pics? Gonna take you awhile. The actual reader is a cheap plastic and seems like it could be broken really easily.Bottom line: an inexpensive way to view a few pictures. Not for viewing lots of pics easily or quickly.
Won't work with 32gb
September 17, 2015
I just bought a Stealth Cam p18, it came with a 4gb card, tested the reader out with it no problems. Tried it with a 32gb card wouldn't read it, thought it might be the card so I tried it on my computer nothing wrong with the card. So I guess I'll get a 16gb card and see if it will work.

January 22, 2017
System overall is pretty good, doesn't always activate with motion for every picture. I noticed that seller dramatically increased priced, in the short time from purchasing this camera, which I question. At the original purchase price that I paid, it was a fair marketable cost. This is the major issue as to why I did not give a 4-5 star evaluation. Fast delivery.
1 for 2 so far.
November 11, 2016
Bought 2 on 9/22/2016, didn't need to set them out till yesterday, 11/10/2016 one of the LCD screens was broken in the middle making it impossible to adjust any settings on it. One was fine. Now getting push back from Amazon about getting a replacement. Not really happy about them currently, but this is a product review.I will update on the quality of the product at a later time.
Great camera - day and night, but not watertight
August 13, 2016
Have used it to record bird activity at my two posts and 6 bird feeders - discovered that the IR feature works great and birds feed don't visit the backyard buffet at night - but rats do. I've tried to live trap them (a humane effort at pest control) - I have film footage of catching a squirrel in my trap.Swapping the memory card every 4 days to keep the work load manageable, I discovered that rain penetrated the seal on the door of the camera and collected at the bottom of the case - a couple of times the batteries were wet. This is highly disturbing. After closing down my rat buffet, I shut down the camera - will try to water proof the camera - perhaps with electrical tape. Good camera, water tightness issue is the reason for the 3 star rating.
First the good: The camera does work and takes good photos ...
February 1, 2016
First the good: The camera does work and takes good photos and videos both day and night. Now the bad: There is nothing intuitive about this camera. Unless you think like the designers did you need to have the manual in your lap to program it. I used it to video my cats' nighttime activities to be certain the new one isn't taking over nor being bullied. It is a battery eater in video mode. So I searched for and finally found the correct power converter. Shame on Bushnell for designing a power interface that is so obscure and not offering to sell the correct one. To mount the camera on a tripod I had to relocate the locking screw off-center because the plug for the power source won't fit between the camera and the tripod base. Had Bushnell made the mount a bit higher it would not have been a problem, neither would it have been necessary to reconfigure the tripod. Now that the power source is attached, it just hangs there, unsupported, and frequently falls out on its own. Another problem that good design would have eliminated. To change the SD card, the power source must be removed because the camera can't be opened while it is connected. A power input location someplace other than the very bottom of the camera would eliminate these problems. Bushnell has been designing some very good products for a very long time and this is not worthy of the name they have established. I have to wonder if they have been bought out by another company which is trading on their good reputation but is letting their quality slip much like the KitchenAid stand mixer is junk compared to the ones built years ago by Hobart.
Good daytime trail cam
September 30, 2015
Got this Bushnell for a great price ($79.99) and received it a day before its estimated arrival date. So I've been using it for about a month now and , except for the blurry night shots, I'm happy with it. The trigger speed is much better than the older model Primos I've been using. I've had the two set up right next to each other and the Bushnell consistently triggers its shutter in time to catch a passing subject while the Primos consistently triggers when the subject is completely past, or almost out, of the shot. However, if a subject cooperates by stopping and hamming it up for the camera, the Primos takes better night time photos. The only time the Bushnell doesn't blur the subject in a situation like that, is when the subject stops and stands perfectly still when the shutter trips. If it's moving, I can't even tell the difference between a cat or dog or racoon or possum. They're just too blurry. I've experimented with every setting available and every combination of settings. Certain settings do work better than others, but nothing completely clears up the blur. The parts of the photo that are not moving look just fine though. The daytime shots are mostly fine. Maybe some blurry legs if something is running fast but generally I can tell exactly what it is or identify who it is, and that's good enough for me.The main thing I like about this Bushnell is the trigger speed. After all, it doesn't matter how nice the photo looks if the subject is already out of the shot when the shutter is tripped. On the other hand, it doesn't matter if the subject is captured within the shot if it's too blurry to tell what it is. If the nighttime subjects were clear, I'd give this cam 5 stars. But night time subjects are very important to me, so that's the reason I'm giving it only 3 stars.
Great motion and infrared, but poor camera
July 30, 2015
Infrared and motion systems are great! Does well capturing motion as much as 60 feet away and decently illuminates a good 35 feet. Caught many images of local deer and even a moose couple in the first week! As a nature enthusiast, I'm thrilled! Some questions asked about shooting through glass: Works fine in timed mode as long as it doesn't kick on the infrared illumination which bounces right off the glass into the lens. I don't recall the effect on the motion detection through glass because I was more interested in incremental images.Hoping to catch a picture of the local bear(s): the motion system will catch them, but I may not be able to make out the image.Unfortunately, the exposure system is very poor! Daytime photos are often washed out with massively blown highlights; and, I'm even shooting north--away from the sun! Very low dynamic range. Partly cloudy skies with cloud shadows moving in and out of frame cause quite the shifts in exposure. Camera has troubles deciding between B&W/infrared and color at dusk and dawn. No controls for compression of image means you're stuck with the low quality setting yielding a 1 megabyte file for each 6 megapixel image (plus side is that this means you can fit about 4,000 images on a 4GB SD card). Motion blurs easily at dusk and dawn due to low sensitivity of the image sensor that doesn't seem to have any auto ISO. Lens angle appears close to equivalent of a 35mm film camera's 50mm lens. As a photographer, I am VERY disappointed. Will make a great little security camera in the off-season.Update 8/17/2015:Camera shot about 10,000 images at temperatures in the 40's for lows and 90's for highs before needing replacement of the eight AA batteries I put in it--and the batteries weren't even brand new!As for the exposure... After seeing others saying what wonderful pictures they're getting, I'm left to wonder if I got a dud or they're just not photographically inclined.

Very Disappointed. You have to buy viewer to get app which tells you if your phone will work.
October 22, 2016
I bought this Viewer after reading the chart which said what phones it would or would not work with. My model was not in the phone will NOT work list. When the viewer arrived I opened it and followed the instructions for down loading the app to make it work. The viewer did not work, next theinstructions tell you to load other apps that might work. I tried those and had the same result, it did not work with my phone. Also in the instructionswas an app to see if your phone would work with the viewer at all. I wish they would give you that app up front, so you could try it before you bought the viewer. The app told me right away that my phone would not work. would have saved a lot of time and cost as well if I could have had the information about the app first. My phone is a LGL33L smart phone.

I bought this for my husband thinking that he would be able to take this a long and look at the pictures on his trail cam in the woods because it is a 45 minute walk to his stand. He just got it out to use and set up before going to check his trail cam. He could not get it set up and it continuously said to download an app that is not available in the google store. This would be such a cool product if he would have been able to get it set up. Now it is basically just sitting in our house collecting dust because he's not able to use it.He has a Galaxy S6. I would expect this if it was an old phone, but his phone only 2 years old.

September 29, 2016
Bought this for my husband. I have an IPhone, he has an Android. I thought it would be easy for him to read his SD cards off his camera's in the woods. They neglect to tell you that it is not compatible with all android phones. There is no phone number to call for help. All questions have to be done through email. Wasn't good for my husband, so we sent it back. Got a Wildgame Innovations trail pad to read his SD cards and video's instead. That worked great!
Tech support is not very helpful.
August 31, 2016
It's probably ok but I'm having problems scrolling thru the pics. May be a software issue but I bought the recommended apps. In person tech support is non existent so only recourse is emails and not much help there so far. Still working on it.
I was excited to try this device because I hate lugging my laptop to the woods
November 5, 2015
I was excited to try this device because I hate lugging my laptop to the woods. Unfortunately it didn't work for me on my tablet or my phone all I got was an error message saying "damaged storage". I thought maybe my card was damaged but it said the same thing on a second card. I pulled the micro SD from the reader and plugged it directly into my tablet and it worked fine. So the only reason it got two stars was because it came in only 3 days and before my trip back to the woods. If anyone has an answer for me please post it I'm desperate! This device could be great for me if I can get it to work.
DOA, and you have to pay shipping on returns.
November 2, 2015
Two stars for the concept. Mine was broken out of the box, I cannot seat the SDHC card correctly and receive an error when the phone tries to read it. Tried on the tablet as well, it can sometimes see the card but never the contents. For the record, the card reads fine on my PC, always has. I cannot comment on whether the other slots work, I bought it specifically for the SDHC card in my Moltriecam. Also, I have to pay shipping to send it back, which sucks.

April 8, 2017
Purchased this as a birthday present for my father. Seemed good quality upon arrival, sturdy, solid build, but on the first use the SD card and the SD card slot destroyed each other, and yes the SD card size was the right size for the reader. Now the computer reads as an error and the whole thing doesn't work.
I do work carefully to place the device in the best location possible
August 21, 2016
Frustrating product. My previous trail cam cost about the same but also recorded the weather. I still have not found a trail cam that has a goode sensor and trigger. I do work carefully to place the device in the best location possible, but because animals tend to trot through my yard - I don't like to use bait - the camera needs to respond in seconds to catch anything of interest. Over time, the sensor works less reliably even when I take care to keep the surface clean. My last set of pictures resulted in 13 empty night videos, and one video where the camera finally caught the fox that had been triggering it but trotted through before the video turned on. I know these cameras aren't that expensive so I shouldn't expect much. If I were trudging off into the forest to find lucrative hunting sites I'd be pretty frustrated with this camera. Also, it takes forever to format every time you replace the batteries.

Good photos - when its working
August 4, 2015
Overall, a pretty "good" unit that does its intended task well when it works. The only - and recurring - issue is the programming appears to 'self-clear' rendering the unit dormant until its reprogrammed. This has become a pain-in-the-neck and a disappointment to the performance or intermittent performance. The pictures are good - both day and night time photos. I have owned the camera for two months and like the results when its working. It would be a good value if the performance was consistent and predictable.

Likely deserves a better rating as photo quality and sensitivity are pretty good for an inexpensive toy tied to a tree, but access to higher speed review has excaped me making any review verrrry tedious. No doubt operator is limiting factor.
Really unhappy - Bushnell - you are supposed to have a better reputation than this.

Waiting to hear from Bushnell. It skips hours at a time. I got this to aid in trapping a feral, mean tomcat that's been spraying inside several houses in the area. I know it skips hours at a time on photo - because something is eating the food in the trap without setting the trap off. Also - it hasn't recorded ME coming to check the trap several times. Really unhappy - Bushnell - you are supposed to have a better reputation than this. I think this is going to go back to Amazon, and I'll buy another brand.I have not heard from Bushnell, so it's going back.

Excited to get this, but it was a dismal failure. It worked on my samsung phone, but not on my husbands HTC phone. With the suggested apps on the samsung, it only "scrolled with one app, not the other, and both apps were so full of ads cleverly popping up as app functions that it wasn't worth sorting through. Virus, this, manage memory that, so on and so forth. Boneview needs to develope their own app. I started a "support ticket" and all I got was links to an outside source trying to show how to accsess different setting etc. Spent an hour-15 hours trying to get satsifactory results. Sent it back. Should be plug and play. Not worth the time or energy I invested in it. Note to Boneview, hire you a kid or two, park them at a help desk and train them to talk folks through set-up...
Does not work unless each device you wish to view pics on has their software installed.

This product reformatted my SD card so that I had to download their software in order to view the pictures. The SD card is now ruined and cannot be read by any other devices.I returned the card reader and threw away the SD card.

did not work with Samsung S6 or S7, I even downloaded the recommended apps, nothing worked
Corrupt every card I put in it!
September 10, 2016
I thought the concept was great, because I am always carrying a phone. But, that's where it ends. Says it works with a Galaxy S6, but even after doing the recommended app download, it would corrupt every card I put in it to the point my cameras would not write to them without being put into my computer and being "repaired". Pics are also horribly slow to load. Find a different way, this isn't it.

Well, where to start. Looks like a great idea and would be if it worked. I spent approximately 4 hours, which I thought was a good effort to no avail. I down loaded 3 different apps, even paid for one still no luck. I have a Samsung 6 it should have made it work. It would work rarely after several attempt to download the pictures but most of the time it would crash my phone by shutting it down during the download. very disappointed. I would highly recommend you to spend your money on a different product.
It worked for me for awhile.

Works OK although I pretty much had to cram the SD card in the first time. I didn't have to install anything, just went to file manager on my phone and chose USB.Correction - it worked OK for two months and stopped working.

Originally rated high after first use but changing due to short camera life. Lasted about 6 months then camera will not work. Very disappointed.
Not happy

Computer would not recognize as mass storage device. Called Bushnell and tried various things, no luck. Very disappointed, can't find cable to fit for TV to view either. I have 30 seconds of something trashing my porch and can't watch it!

over exposed images
September 18, 2015
Right out of the box I've had problems with image quality. Almost no color images are captured, most of the daytime images are all washed out due to overexposure (and no, it's not pointing into the sun). The night vision works fine. I'm pretty disappointed.
