I had an old pair of barbers shears that would give me blisters where the rings rubbed against my fingers; I’d need to use a band aid or something. These shears don’t give me blisters or hurt my fingers at all. No disappointments.

I bought these for my bearded fella as a replacement for his dull trimming scissors. He paid about 3 times the price for his last pair and he said these were just as good.

These are excellent quality and very easy to use. Use these to cut my toddler's hair every few weeks and our Fiskars weren't doing it, so this has been a very helpful change. The design is comfortable for the hand to hold and cut for long periods of time.

Great quality there than I expected smooth and the metal seems heavier me that a good quality

While I am not a connoisseur of scissors, I think this pair is quite good. They arrived quickly, look great and are very sharp. They are certainly excellent for the price, no doubt about it. Of course, I cannot say how long they will last, but I think I might lose them long before they wear out (I seem to lose scissors somehow from time to time).

Great scissors, larger than expected. The pic featured doesn't look like the proportions of a 7.5in pair of scissors. My fault for not reading the description. Unlike another commentor, these scissors (the pair I ordered) does not have gold on the handle. The pair I ordered is 7.5 inches and looks exactly like the picture. I am still nervous using these to trim my nose hair, but its ok for sideburns.

Great scissors. Everything was as described. The scissors were sharp and did the job. Very pleased!

These are ideally priced and really great for use for just about anybody. They are definitely high quality and I have enjoyed using them on my own hair (attacking split ends) and trims for my children. I recommend and you can't beat the price!

It's good to have a nice sharp scissors on hand to trim my bangs when I don't have time to make a hair appointment. Saves me time and money.

Recently decided to start cutting my own hair and realized I needed a pair of hair scissors. Found these on here and thought I would give them a try. I got them today and used them and I really enjoy them. I have never purchased hair scissors before so I don't really know what am looking for but they cut great and were pretty cheap so I will save tons on haircuts since all I really do is trim my ends but I'm sure these would work great for cutting all types of hair and styles. I use them to cut my bangs all the time and boy are they sharp!! The shipping and product are as described. It's a simple review, but you really can't go wrong with purchasing these shears. I've had these now for close to a year and I cut my bangs often. I've not had any problems and they've maintained quite well. Consider too: The price (currently $7.59) and the opportunity for free shipping. I would recommend these styling shears.

I give myself haircuts at home with the Creaclip and opted for these scissors because I couldn't see a real difference between them and the more expensive ones. I am thoroughly happy with these. They feel very solidly made (they are a surprising weight in your hand, in a good way) and are extremely sharp. My haircuts came out perfectly, they are sturdy, and they are cheap. What more could you ask for?

Good scissors, I'm not sure how long they're supposed to last sharp but they were great for about 5 months before they started becoming dull

They are pretty good. AND they are "ICE TAMPERED" not ice tempered. Says so on the blade. LOL, almost worth the price, just for that. who the heck tampered with the ice.

I like to cut my own hair and these scissors did the job. The only thing is that they were not as sharp towards the end, but for the price it was sufficient. Just had to cut my hair in smaller portions and it took me a little longer, but I was content with the final product. You just have to be careful not too cut too much hair at a time because since they are not that sharp at the end it will make it a little more difficult.

Bought these because I don't want my hair chopped off when I go to get a "trim". Used them the other night and trimmed my own hair. Worked fine. Seems sturdy and good quality product. Obviously have to wipe them off every time to prevent any rust. I put them back in the slip and keep them in a drawer so moisture won't get to it. Not sure if they will rust but just want to prevent it.

These are pretty good haircutting scissors considering I spend $3 on them. They do cut well. Only drawback is I didn't look more carefully at the measurements, these scissors are for people with small hands, and mine are a little too big. After cutting for 5 minutes my hand started to hurt. Also, because they are so small, you can only cut a tiny little bit of hair at a time. If you have small hands these are great scissors for the price.

Sharp scissors ! a bit small to hold comfortably...my hand size is above average so it's a bit tight to get a good grip...overall happy with the product!

These scissors are fine for trimming ends, but they weren't exactly what I was expecting. I was hoping for a sharper edged, larger, heavier weighted pair of shears. These feel more like the scissors my kids used in elementary school. I don't hate them, but I can't say that I highly recommend them. If you're looking for a pair of shears for hair cuts and trims -- I'd keep looking around.

The shears themselves seem to be sturdy, but I do wish they had come a little bit sharper. It's not that they don't cut the hair the first time, but I do feel like there is more resistance than there should be. However, I think for the price, it was a good buy. They do what they are intended to do.

I have coarse hair that I maintain at home. I am a "search and destroy" trimmer so I get a lot of use out of my shears. These are heavy, solid shears with a great blade. They are very sharp and comfortable to hold. I gave them 4 stars because they seem like they may degrade quickly with the level of use I typically have with my shears. Definitely worth it if you want a good pair of shears handy.

Decent pair of scissors, however they had some difficulty cutting through my thick hair. I would recommend these scissors for trimming split ends, but not for longer cuts on healthy hair.

These scissors are not quite as sharp as I'd have liked, but they are just OK for utility.

I just started using it. The lock is somewhat tight , but I guess it will get loose and easy to handle as the time goes

Let's not pretend these are barber quality scissors. Instead you get a serviceable personal use sheers. They are okay for trimming bangs, side birds, or other body hair. I found the movement to be a bit stiff; there's a bit of resistance when opening and closing the pair of blades. That said, it does work. I have had mine for about a 2 months and no rust has appeared which is good considering how much moisture gets trapped in my bathroom.

Good scissors for the price! The only thing I noticed is the screw holding them together can come loose from the motion of cutting. Easy to just twist back into place though.

The first time I cut my hair they were fine. A little hard to get through my hair but fine. The 2-3 times were kind of tough but by the 4th time they were almost un-useable.

I bought this so that I didn't have to go get my bangs trimmed every 2 weeks. I have straight bangs, so trimming them is sort of a process. My kitchen shears were too scary to have near my eyeballs and my office scissors weren't sharp enough. Maybe my hair is thick or something, but sometimes when I use these scissors, they fold my hair instead of cutting it, kind of like if the blade wasn't sharp enough. I kind of find them useless if they aren't sharp enough to cut my hair. I still use them, because I would rather try than pay to get my bangs trimmed.

For some reason, I thought the handles would have a plastic or rubber coating. I was wrong.I'm left handed and these scissors are for righties, I guess because when i try to use my left hand they won't cut through the hair.I've used them twice (once on my 4B natural hair and once on my friends 3C hair). They definitely gets the job done.

Bad quality

I have a pair of these scissors I bought a few years ago locally. I liked them so much, I ordered 2 more from Amazon. They have the same brand and description and they look like my original scissors in the picture; however, the ones I received are a knock-off of the real brand. Mine are made in Germany and I overlooked reading in the description that these were made in China. The difference is night and day in cutting. My old ones are still sharp and accurate, these are very poor quality and out of the box do not cut well at all. I don't remember what I paid for my original scissors but the price of these 2 seemed a bargain - I should have figured out such nice scissors wouldn't be at the price I paid, but the product seemed to be one and the same. Disappointed that they were a copy from China - not sure how they keep getting away with using the same brand names and descriptions of their fake products.

The screw isn't done properly, which makes it a rough to open or close the scissors. I only use it for my pubes now.

Not happy with these shears which seem not as good as our 30-year-old "FRANKLIN" pair we were replacing. If the ad had specified they were MADE IN PAKISTAN and stamped as such in bold black lettering, we would not have bought them. Most quality scissors seem to be made in Italy, Brazil or Germany. These are not quality and the WARNING about possible toxicity in the metal should've been a clue! They might work for cutting paper but don't plan to use for barber purposes.:(

POOR QUALITY

I purchased these scissors with the thought that they were a good price and would work well for cutting my children hair. The 7.5 inch is way to large and the scissor is not the best quality. When it arrived and i tried to open the scissor is was hard. I returned them prompty and already received my refund.

Gives me split ends, not sharp enough

Like them the first couple times I used, but fell apart since then. I have to keep tightening the screw to hold together.

The sissores at wall mart work better for hair cutting then this one. This is good for construction paper not so much for hair.

I have used these about 2 times and already they appear dull. I could barely cut my son's hair tonight. Not worth the price. Invest in better shears.

Tried to trim my daughter's hair with it but it's not sharp enough. I bought it after reading good reviews but it is not a very sharp pair of scissors. They are ok to trims your bangs.

I bought these to trim the ends of my hair - I'm not a hairstylist, just a mom, unfortunately this pair of scissors was dull, so I had to wear an up-do. I rocked it! lol!

Pulled right out of the package, they looked pretty beat up already. They seem sturdy enough, but definitely wont even attempt to use before ive had a chance to sharpen them. A lot. Would not recommend or buy again at all, but its too much of a hassle to return.

These things look like they've been used. They're gross. Right out of the package they have scratches, marks, and feel used. I bought New scissors, I don't expect them to come looking like this.

Blades are not sharp and the end of one blade is bent a little so you have to overcome it to close the blade. Fairly useless for me.

To be honest, I bought these to cut horse hair for competition. These came to me completely dull, which for scissors, is kind of a deal-breaker. My husband tried to use them to trim his beard to no avail. I am replacing these with common Fiskars scissors, for the same cost, to cut my horse's mane accurately and evenly. Luckily, my husband is a blacksmith so hopefully he'll be able to sharpen them to a point that will work for his beard.

In several years of cutting our own family's hair, we have never tried a pair of scissors as bad as these. I made the mistake of ignoring other highly negative reviews. One reviewer even suggested that they resulted in split ends. Unfortunately, I was skeptical, thinking that this surely could not be. I figured that even if they were not very good, they would still be worth buying as a backup. Wrong! They simply are not usable for cutting hair! Even cheap stationery scissors work FAR better! It turns out that all of the other reviewers were right--the product is terrible and should not even be on the market, except perhaps as utility scissors to keep in a junk drawer. They don't really cut the hair; rather, they pull and chew at it. I finally finished a haircut in twice the time it usually takes, and the constant pulling was extremely uncomfortable for the victim. This is the worst product I have ever bought from Amazon.

I replaced a wonderful set of shears that I have had for over twenty years that I dreaded trashing due to excessive wear. I should have went with my gut feelings when I saw the price of these shears. I like to trim unruly mustache hairs, but these shears are absolutely useless. They will not cut a single hair, literally! The single hair that you try to clip gets pinched between blades and you end up pulling your hair out and that smarts! The old saying still rings true - "You get what you pay for" and I got garbage.

These scissors were very dull when they arrived, and pulled my hair when I tried (unsuccessfully) to use them to cut my bangs. I have fine hair, but I can't imagine these working for any type of hair. I do not recommend them.

These shears can't even cut air

The contact between the blades is either too heavy or too light in different areas, which causes them to cut unevenly or even catch while cutting. Ive seen them cause split ends because of this. I exchanged the first pair for a second pair thinking I just got a damaged pair, but the second pair did the same thing. Cheap = waste of money.

If your looking for a pair of scissors that will absolutely not cut anything then these are what your looking for. Total useless scissors. Do not buy !!!!!

Awful! First of all, these came opened - not even remotely in the packaging just sliding all over the box. When I went to use them on my daughter's hair they were the most dull scissors ever and wouldn't cut - they just clipped her hair like a hairclip. I saw some reviews of the scissors being dull upon arrival, but I decided to take a chance since so many other reviewers spoke highly of them. Big mistake. Already sent back for a refund.
