Been looking for placemats for over a year this product came fast delivered promptly and is a very very good product. Well made very durable.

It is exactly what I wanted. Good packaging. Arrived on time. Works fine.

Easy to clean and wash in the sink. Look lovely on tables or on the kitchen island.

Exactly what we were looking for to protect our solid cherry wood table from heat or dampness. I put them under the table runner and the placemats on the table. They are a lot like the silicone baking sheet liners, but thicker. I would recommend these if your puppy chewed up your formal table pad and you need something in a pinch and they are also great for everyday use.

Didn't use these as placemats, I needed something for a splash guard for the wall next to the stove for things frying and otherwise cooking.On a white wall they look and work great - but sorry not sure how they'd work as placemats.

These placemats are a beautiful color. They are vinyl which makes them easy to clean and maintain but are woven so it looks fabric like. I have a nice new table to protect and these do the job. I only ordered a set of four even though my table seats 8 because I wasn't sure about them. I like them a lot though so am ordering another set today.

I love these placemats. They were right within my price range and work well with the other accent colors in my home. They are easy to wipe off and I haven't had issues with them staining.

These placemats are extremely low maintenance and also easy to clean on the rare occasion that I feel up to it. I purchased the "beige" set, which look exactly like they do in the pictures but are really only about half beige. The rest is a kind of greenish brown, and the combination goes really well on my dark brown kitchen table. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I really like these! They have a nifty color-changing effect which is something I'm drawn too! They are super easy to clean and dry since the weave is open a bit. The only down side is that the weave is open so liquid runs through onto the table but unlike the others that don't let this happen the others don't completely clean/dry properly and hold their shape like these do. We enjoy them :)

Beautiful, slightly glossy, easy to clean.The placemats are vinyl but look like fabric so they have a very pretty, refined look. They always lay flat. No fuss!A small bonus is that the back side has reverse coloring from what is pictured-- so it has a darker rectangular pattern and lighter vertical background. Nice if you're looking to change things up a bit.For the most part you can wipe off any mess that gets on the thing, every once in awhile you may have to give it a quick scrub in the sink if it gets between the weaving. Still beats throwing it in the washer, struggling with stains, and ironing down a fabric placemat.I purchased this in Taupe to go with my wood dining set. Also purchased with the Lipper International Coasters, Acacia, Set of 6 on this site (also reviewed). They go nicely together as a set, VISUALLY. Unfortunately I can't vouch for the quality of the coasters like I can with these beauties. Still worth considering if you can't find anything better.

I love to dress my table for my girlfriends and have a beautiful wood table that these allow to be shown instead of a table cloth. Not using a table cloth in the summer lightens up the table for a more springy look. Also these are vinyl so they are easy to wash but the design and quality make them look and feel like they are not vinyl. One draw back is that because of the woven design, they will not protect from spills but even a table cloth doesn't do that. So I really love them. Food may get stuck in the woven design but you just run them under the water and poof, they're clean.

These look very nice on my black table and are SO easy to clean! I wish they rolled up a bit easier for storage, but otherwise a great item.

This was a gift, my daughter in law loves them.

Very nice. I loved these. They are super absorbent as well. One of our guests spilled her entire glass of juice and none of it leaked through to our table. Definitely buying other colors.

They look nice on the table, but dirtiest easily and is hard to get spills out of it. Going to try putting them in dishwasher to see if they will holdbup. It would make cleaning easier.

So far, so good. The placemats are really handsome, but quite a bit thinner than I expected. Only time will tell how well they hold out under heavy use.

These have worked great, except if you spill something on them, it will seep through to your table, so you will have to wipe it up. They clean up well.

Didn't quite realize (or think about) when I bought that these are fully porous. I wouldn't call that the manufacturers's fault as it's fully described in the item description. Just be aware that anything liquid will pour right through it.

These look great against our dark grey marble countertops. Can be a bit of work to clean out food particles but you can easily get them wet due to the material.

These are good for the cost. I didn't realize they had little holes in them that food can get stuck in but I guess "crossweave woven" should have tipped me off!

I got these in turquoise, and have to admit, was a little nervous ordering them, not knowing what shade of turquoise to expect. Absolutely love them! There are several soft shades of blue and gray, and all of them go great together. It's hard to find a design like this in vinyl. The fact that they are reversible makes it even better. I've given 4 stars since we haven't used them yet and don't know how durable they will turn out to be.

We bought these for a coastal vacation rental and they passed their first tests with flying colors. Our guests were a grandmother, her son, and her 3 and 5 year old grandsons. The placemats (all 12 of them) had a challenging week, but they wiped clean easily and looked good as new... even after syrup, jelly, mustard, catsup, and a couple of unidentified substances.

The mats are functional in keeping spills off the table, but they are not heat resistant. After I put a hot mug of coffee on the mat, I find a steam mark on the table. So I have to use a separate trivet for my coffee.

It looks nice, but it is not water and dust proof. Water leak through the sim and left over also went thru. Did I have the defect product? Or it is the design?

The edges of the mats are not straight, as I'm pedantic about having everything aligned it's a bit annoying for me. I would be very satisfied if the edges were straight.

Not as easy to clean as I thought. Food can easily get stuck in the weave and has to be brushed out. However, I still like that fact that I usually only have to use a damp sponge on it. Also, they look nice on the table.

I wanted to give these placemats two stars because the color is so far off than the one advertised, but the placemats themselves seem okay and shipping was prompt. I included a picture of the placemats delivered (taken in natural lighting right next to a huge open window) to show the color difference.

I like the color, texture and the wipe clean ability. Unfortunately, since it is a weave, liquids and crumbs fall thru the weave, making for additional clean up or mess

I bought these to use INSIDE the house but the placemats have little holes in them and everything slipped through. Instead of throwing them out, I now use them outside and when we are finished, I hose them off. Practical...but not inside of the house. They defeat the purpose of placemats but they look good!

decent to look at but kind of glossy/glittery and they dont look like great quality but they do FEEL like good quality. I'm trying to say_ They feel better than they look-in my opinion.

The title of my review can be construed as "It's my fault" for not understanding what I bought...but I was hoping for something more easily cleaned. Also, after awhile the edges started fraying and got wrinkly. Guess these would be good for a dinner party and just use them once in awhile.

They are not white. The description should say beige. I am thinking returning them.

Beautiful upon receiving. After only a few weeks of use, there are clear signs of wear and tear. The edges are starting to fray and food is stuck in the weaves. Even though I ordered 2 packs, the mats are different sizes, varying in widths. Cheap quality. If you're looking to buy something for frequent use, I do not recommend.

I purchased these placemats a few weeks ago, and they ARE very nice looking placemats!! However, the description about being heat resistant is not valid. I purchased these over other placemats since they were advertised : "Used as placemats,coasters,potholders and heat pads on dining tables...". I wanted a placemat that was water proof and heat proof, so I could set hot plates/dishes on them, when they were on my dining table. I placed water on a mat, and the water did not go thru. But I had something hot and placed a mat against it, and immediately I started feeling warmth, then heat, coming thru the mat. Because of this, I am afraid to place anything hot on the mat when the mat is on my table. Since that was the reason I purchased these, I gave it 2 stars. A minor thing, but it also was advertised as "Packaged flat rather than rolled,so that they would lay flat on the table". I thought the placemats would arrive entirely flat, but they were folded in half. I still have a small bump down the middle where they were folded in half.

They are good-looking. I like the neutral color and design. I did not expect them to have an open weave. This made them impractical for us as we entertain a lot and our grandchildren commonly spill. The mats do not protect the table.

If you have children or you yourself is a messy eater, these are not for you. The particles goes through the cracks and onto your table. Kids spilled syrup and it was a giant mess that ended up spreading to a bigger mess.

We've had these for a few months now and they are starting to come unwoven. We are still using them, just have to pull the strings off once in a while. Also, they do not stop liquids. They clean up easy enough.

I ordered these for a dinner party at my house. I received and opened them the night before the party. I thought they were beautiful...until my husband pointed out that none of them are cut the same (you can easily tell this when you stack them up together and feel how different they are). In fact, most of them are not perfect rectangles at all (many of the top/bottom edges are cut slanty - easy to tell when you align the bottom edge with the table edge). As we did not have time to buy anything else, we went ahead and used them. I was upset, but once we got the table set with the plates, etc. on them, no one but us probably noticed that they were not cut straight. Still, I would have returned these were it not for the fact that I didn't have anything else to use. Pretty disappointed.

I bought these to save my table cloths from my children, thinking that vinyl placemats would be simple to wipe down. However, because they are actually woven, not just printed to look that way, little food bits get stuck in between. They LOOKED nice before we used them, but not very functional. Also, because they are vinyl, if they get a corner folded up under a cup it stays that way for awhile.

The colors were more dull after seeing it in person. Depending on how the sunlight would hit it, it would either have some color as in the picture (still lighter) or be almost completely pale. They just don't pop at all. They also feel very cheap. I knew they were vinyl when I bought them, but I didn't think they would feel this bad. I was almost worried they would scratch the finish of my wood table. On the plus side, they appear easy to clean under running water.

I decided to order this product after reading the other reviews and was partly pleased and partly disappointed. Talk about your mixed emotions!First the good. Great design, and material I thinkThe bad: these place mats give off a very strong smell rminiscent of bug spray. I washed them, soaked them in fabreeze and still the smell. Not exactly the smell you want next to your lunch!

Like the look but after using they are all stained and the stains won't come out no matter what I've used on them.

...Disappointed.... My Wife bought these. They look very pretty, but I wanted something that looks good AND works well.These are THIN, and have hundreds of little square HOLES in them.This is NOT clearly shown in the photos.Since they are made of Vinyl, it is easy to assume they are a moisture barrier.(Otherwise, I would buy woven ones made from a natural material)Yes, they'll keep plates and utensils from scratching the table, but that's is not enough.Salt and grit that falls through the mesh will cause scratches too, but silently and unnoticed over time. Condensation from cold drinks will still leave ringsWe have a wooden table with a beautiful finish. Grit + Liquids = damageThese placemats would be better for straining spaghetti noodles.Even thick CLOTH placemats would be better than these.Form should always follow function.

The ones I received has a smell, but it's not that strong, probably will go away in certain amount of time.And I just found out you can get each piece for no more than $2 in Walmart, which makes the set of 4 no more than $8. I guess it's the shipment that makes it more expensive even I'am a prime.

From picture thought these were a solid crossweave..upon arrival mats were more of an open weave that allows liquids or food to pass through...what's the point of a placemat if you have to clean the table anyways?

They are very nice looking. They have an almost 3D look to them. BUT, they really are a weave. I mistakenly thought the weave was a pattern in SOLID vinyl, that would have made them much easier to clean.When you spill liquid on them the spill goes right through to the table. If you spill something thick, like mashed potatoes for instance, you cant just wipe these with a sponge (like I could do with my old mats), that just pushes the spill into the weave. Then you got to wash them under the faucet to force the food out of the weave. Thats too time consuming... I want something I can just wipe off.
