These really work. I can tell when I'm not taking these daily because I end up with horrible irregularities and colon pain especially since I'm eating junk due to be a full time nursing student. I got sick recently and I am still trying to get over it. Doc recommended me to start taking probiotics along with fiber tablets. I am currently taking both supplements. The fiber supplement is not by NOW foods though. Found it at last minute at CVS.Anyway, the Probiotic started working the same day I started taking it. My bowels started to calm down. I did experience some gas with this supplement, so that's something I would be aware of. They are noisy! LOL! It's probably due to the imbalance in my system, so if it happens to you, don't be surprised. I do keep these capsules in the fridge 24/7 and I have just started taking one during morning before meals and another at night at least an hour after dinner (just my preference). I can really tell these work, so I would not knock them til you try!

Oh my goodness these helped me so much! I have really bad acid reflux and was on 2 prescriptions for it generic nexium and Prilosec. Did some research and found out probiotic are suppose to help indigestion so I ordered these and in less than week it was already working. I have been taking them for about a month now and I might have taken only 1 nexium since I started these. I am so happy cause I know acid reflux medicine is not good for you and probiotics are very good for you. I am so happy I gave these a try!!!

I have been living with anxiety and depression since 2006, I have been on many many different medications and combinations of medications all with a host of terrible side effects. I was tired of the insomnia and then feeling like I couldn't get out of bed or off the couch. I was being prescribed more pills just to get rid of the side effects of my other pills (which introduced more side effects and the prescriptions continued).I read about using probiotics to help with anxiety and depression and didn't really think much of it. But about two years ago my girlfriend begged me to stop my prescription meds because some of the side effects were affecting our relationship. I stopped my meds and was alright for a few weeks but then the anxiety and depression worsened. I decided to try these to see if they helped and started taking one as soon as I woke up because they are to be taken on an empty stomach. It took a while but my anxiety and depression slowly just disappeared!The only side effects are feeling better and I very rarely get sick anymore! These are the good kind of probiotics that require refrigeration and guarantee the number of cultures present until the expiration date. I have forgot to order more a couple times and went a week or so without taking them and could feel the anxiety gradually coming back, so I know these are what's helping me get over these mental disorders.I encourage anybody with anxiety or depression to try these, they are healer than prescription meds and a lot safer with no side effects.

I don't know if this will help me with my indigestion and farting, but it definitely passed the milk test. These are two different cups with milk 18 hours later. I poured the contents of this capsule into one, the other has just milk. The one with this capsule smells like yogurt and moves like yogurt. The other one just smells and moves like milk that was left out.

I have tried at least 13 different probiotic supplements over the past 20 years including Jarrow Dophilus EPS which used to be very effective. Very good probiotic - easy on the stomach, proven effects. After I got my diet cleaned up and my gut right, this is a wonderful addition to acquiring the right amount of daily "good bacteria" we need - especially if you've been on a course of anti-biotics (which kills all of the good stuff in your gut and leads to all kinds of gas, bloating, IBS, etc.)

Probiotics were still alive. The product does need to be refrigerated. I would recommend that you follow the instructions and swallow these on an empty stomach. Your stomach will thank you.

I take one of these capsules right before bed. Although I'm not 100% sure how much medicinal value there is in taking them (and there are many lofty claims out there about probiotics), I find that they keep me regular and my stool soft. That's really the only reason I take them - if I'm benefiting from them beyond that...great! I've tried a few other brands of probiotics, but nothing really beats the price or number of cultures in this product.

I like to take Probiotics just to keep things running smooth. I notice I do feel better when I take them regularly VS skipping many days, then taking it. For over all well being, I really like it. I think we could all be more aware of our body, and if I have to take a pill; I'd rather it be something natural that will help VS 1000000 side effects.I'd say my reasoning for 4 starts simply has to do with the hype and price. Although I have researched that cheap probiotics are normally a waste because they can't make it far enough without the acid destroying the healthy bacteria; it seems as though this can happen no matter how pricey the brand. This won't stop me from taking it, it's a matter of knowing how I feel and really that is all you can do for yourself. If you feel a major difference on these, then take what works for you.

Great product with affordable price. I stumbled on this product after having stomach issues. It did improve my symptoms. And then I've noticed that I rarely get sick anymore when colds & flu bugs are going around. I think this product has a lot to do with that. And then my wife was complaining about a lot of daily bloat and lower stomach pain. She started taking 1-2 of these pills a day and her stomach issues cleared up in 48 hours. This product is now a part of our daily regimen. I did want to note that I read that the probiotic strains are very sensitive to heat and can die off impacting the effectiveness. So we always opt for quick shipping and keep in the fridge to keep the product fresh,

When I first started taking this I had consistent GAS and just general ABDOMINAL DISCOMFORT. I'm talking constant burping and hearing strange noises in my stomach throughout the day and night. I was going to return but I had already taken too many and it was one of the few probiotic supplements I've tried that passed the probiotic test. The discomfort became more mild but did not go away. I was so relieved when I finished the whole container because now I'd be able to try something new. I ended up repurchasing it because I really couldn't find any other brand that worked within my budget. Now I take it everyday and my digestion is superb ( I did do the test on it to make sure and it passed) . This is not a magic pill thats going to make your digestive problems dissapear but it does help :))

These are pretty good and easy to swallow. I keep mine in the fridge and I have had less stomach upset and bloating since using these. I know for a fact these work well for me because I got sick and had surgery and didn't have this bottle for almost 10 days even after I recovered. I had bloating, gas etc which went away quickly once I resumed these. 4.5 stars

I felt the need to write this as i have had stomach problems most of my life. I have really had to eat bland food as to not have digestive problems. Then I was told about probiotics so i started taking them. I usually switch them up monthly to get different strains in my system. For me this probiotic was just ok. Some symptoms started coming back when i started taking these. So for me, back to my old faithful gs supplements probiotic which settles my stomach and intestines really well. Much better than this one.

After coming in brown glass bottles for years now they have switched to plastic with a flimsy thin snap on top.

Not feeling some vast improvement- they are just normal probiotic pills....

Giving three stars for the price and shipping speed.As for the product, i wish i could say it helped me, or my husband. We both took it for a while, but experienced no miracles other speak of here. I haven't noticed any changes at all, and my husband who has lots of issues with colitis and IBS, didn't experience any improvement whatsoever.Capsules were stored in the fridge from the day they were received, so unless they were old or somehow inactive, all i can say is that product did absolutely nothing.I think with exercise and correct nutrition, we rarely need any supplements at all. Stick with yogurt, it's far cheaper and more natural.

I wasn't really sure how to rate this. It gave me really bad diarrhea, even after going to an every other day schedule. I suspect this means they have a lot of active cultures, but I'm not sure if the side effect is just about my particular system. I've never had this problem with other probiotics. I went on and off them numerous times- always had the same effect on me.

I have had digestive problems, and other sorts of issues, constipation and gas since I was a teenager. It doesn't matter what I eat, I still end up with the same IBS. I have tried almost every digestive product out there, and very few of them work for me. Now Probiotic-10 25 Billion is a very good product for the price, it definitely helps my digestion issues and gas. At $13.99, Now Probiotic is an expressive probiotic that works really well. I do seem to still experience a great deal of heart burn, GERD and constipation when taking this probiotic though. If you can afford the price, I would also suggest NaturaBest Probiotic 60 Capsules 5.06 BILLION - Made in the USA. It costs a little more, but it works better for me and after using for about a month, all of my digestion issues were gone. These are both good products, give them a try.

I've had GERD for over ten years and just started using probiotics about 8 months ago because I am getting tired of Omeprazole and would like to finally get off it. This is the third brand I've tried and the worst. It caused bad stomach cramps and gas that I didn't experience with the other brands. Maybe I'm sensitive to these particular strains, maybe it's just too much. Who knows? Personally, the Webber Naturals worked best for me and I was probably a dunce to try something different, but at least I know better now.

I have tried other brands and they worked pretty well I have ibs, not impressed with my results didn't really help me at all no relief. This was a cheaper brand looked good so figured I'd try it out will keep looking..

It recommends refrigeration and it directs people to take it on an empty stomach. I like to eat every few hours. The counts look great, but they may be a little strong for me, giving me some stomach discomfort and unwanted urgency. I am usually a big NOW fan. The NOW room temperature from Walgreen's were way better.

I have received these at least 2 times now. Always packaged well. Seem to work pretty good the first 2 times. BUT this time they did not work at all so I did the milk test. The milk test is done by opening a capsule of probiotic into a few oz. of milk and wait for a day. Next day nothing happened. NO change thus the product was dead. It's supposed to be a refrigerated product it is not kept cool but the other 2 worked ok so not sure if this one bottle is just bunk.

Not effective compared to other probiotics I have gotten on Amazon, I am switching back to the ones that are pearls. Normally I am a big fan of NOW foods products but not this one.

I have used the Now probiotic and the Ultimate Flora. I tried to use the Now because it was cheaper and seems to be popular. Plus Now usually has healthier and higher quality products. But I was disappointed. It really didn't do anything for my digestion like the Ultimate Flora did. It just didn't do much for me. Its like I wasn't even taking a probiotic. But the Ultimate Flora definitely worked and I will just pay more next time for a more quality probiotic.

This caused me great upset and it's taken me quite some time to adjust from them. Did not work for me.

I did the milk test, and found that the probiotic I bought does not contain any live active cultures, meaning that it has no active ingredients, and will not help my IBS, nor will it do anything for anyone. The product itself may have once had active cultures that died while sitting in Amazon's warehouse, or in shipment, but upon arrival, the product was defective, and I would caution those who are interested in purchasing it (or any probiotic) to check its storage conditions.

These arrived yesterday. I was home when the delivery man dropped them off, and I immediately got them inside. The temperature in Texas yesterday was 100°. The box was hot to the touch, and when I opened it, so was the bottle with the probiotics inside. If it was 100° outside, you can imagine how hot the inside of a UPS truck would be. Because I suspected that there were no live or active cultures after being exposed to this extreme heat, I did the milk test. As you can see from the picture, after 30 hours, there was no reaction with the milk. It is still the consistency of regular milk, and has not thickened in the least. I'm assuming it's because of the heat, but really have no way of knowing if they were alive and active before shipment. Commonsense would tell you that in the heat of the summer, these might need to be cooled in someway during shipment. I would not recommend ordering these if you live in a hot climate, especially during the summer months. I am returning them.

Bought these for me and my son and all they did was cause severe constipation and abdominal pain in both of us. I usually like Now brand but this stuff made us feel worse than before we started it. I live in Arizona and these came in a hot box. If these arrived on ice maybe they would work. I won't buy these again and now this has me questioning their other products.

Gave me gas like crazy and then made me feel sick for a week. Not using this ever again.
