| The box itself is well made and is glued square so it closes fine. I do appreciate the fact these boxes are ...April 30, 2017 Decent box, for a box, however as other reviewers have noted, there does seem to be some sort of coating or residue on the outside of the box that doesn't allow the tape to stick well, but that being said, if you use a smooth edge device to press against the tape after it is applied, the tape will stick well enough. The box itself is well made and is glued square so it closes fine. I do appreciate the fact these boxes are 100% recycled as well. | Tape doesn't stick wellMay 17, 2016 Tape doesn't stick well to it but they seem durable. I had to use a lot of tape to get it to close and when I was preparing a box the tape kept coming off which was annoying I never had this problem before with other boxes and the same tape.. Great boxes when you send them...not as much when you receive.July 22, 2014 On the positive, these boxes are very cheap, a good size to ship for heavier smaller items (like books). They all came in good shape and appear to be of good quality. They can be stacked easy. Easy to write on for labeling.On the negative, the post office let'em have it. I shipped my book collection via post office with book rate. I decided these boxes made sense because they aren't too big to make each box very heavy. Filled with books, they weigh 12-15lbs. Most boxes arrived partially open. Not the flaps mind you ie due to insufficient tape. The actual box on the side was partially torn from wear. I even got an apology on a few from the post office for their condition (I even got insurance on them in hopes that more care would be taken...). Now, this could be an issue that just can't be fixed no matter the box (come on post office!)...but alas a box for shipping that doesn't ship well is less than great. This could also be a problem with books, but not other items. The actual books to my knowledge appear alright from what I have opened. But some boxes I have not opened that I fear the worst. Use them to pack all my dvdsFebruary 24, 2014 They are very small but i use them to pack my dvds away can fit about 20 or so in a box. Will rethink next purchaseOctober 27, 2013 I run an online business an am always shipping stuff. I usually use poly mailers but with more of my delicate stuff, I'll put it in a box. These are great for my larger tutus. However, about 6 of my boxes were ruined by having flaps ripped off. It honestly looked like it got stuck in a machine. I'm using them for storage as of now, but I still paid for 25 ship able packages and I only got about 19. | | | | |

For those of us with only a thin profit, this matters, particularly for boxes with only marginal quality control. I'll be shopping elsewhere for boxes in future. | Tape doesn't stay adhered to boxSeptember 15, 2017 I ship daily with various boxes from various vendors and I use the same tape on all. Tape adheres to all the boxes I use EXCEPT this box.
