Five Star Reviews: | 67% Great for moving big amounts in less time. August 29, 2017 Huge boxes, great for moving out loads of stuff. Just be sure you have help moving them if you put heavy things in them. Boxes were sturdy and suffered no damage with move November 19, 2016 Just moved from farmhouse in Missouri to beach house in North Carolina. Boxes were sturdy and suffered no damage with move. I would recommend these boxes January 21, 2016 I would recommend these boxes! They are easy to assemble and sturdy enough to hold all my kitchen products as I bought them for pots/pans etc. Great size for this purpose. Packing up May 23, 2015 The boxes were of good quality. I had a house to close & helped with boxing some of the larger items. | 75% Reliable June 21, 2017 This is great bubble wrap. I've purchased slightly cheaper bubble wrap before trying to save some money, but the perforations were so poor I ended up having to use a knife to cut the bubble wrap which is a giant pain when you're trying to get things packed up in a timely manner. This bubble wrap is perforated perfectly and does the job. The price is also comparable to other bubble wraps offered on Amazon so I would suggest not trying to save a couple dollars if you find something cheaper, because it will also be a cheaper quality product. Stick with Duck brand and you shouldn't have any problems. Great for Winter Window Insulation! January 12, 2017 Worked great for winter window insulation (spray water on glass, cut bubble wrap to fit, and put it bubble side toward glass on your windows, then seal with window plastic - the "blow-dryer type"). It was also much cheaper and higher quality than that offered at the shipping store! Great Value - large amount! January 6, 2017 Who would think there would be better than average bubble wrap? I have bought bubble wrap that is very expensive for the amount you can purchase. This came in a large box and I felt a very good amount for the $$. It also has little places where the wrap can tear down (if you hold it up you will see a slightly darker line from top to bottom - discovered while trying to tear. High quality bubble wrap. April 6, 2016 As a small business owner that sells products online and has to ship said products on a daily basis, this is a must have. I've been purchasing this bubble wrap constantly over the last 2 years. It's affordable, it's high quality, and there's enough of it to last a while. The products that I ship are mostly electronics and this bubble wrap has done a fantastic job protecting them while they are in transit. The fact that I get free 3 day shipping for this with Amazon Prime is a life saver. At one point, I had a relative who was moving and needed some protection for their huge 55" TV. I had them use this bubble wrap. After the moving was done, there wasn't a single scratch or dent on the TV and most of the bubble wrap was still intact and only a small minority of the bubbles were popped. Wrap it up! September 21, 2015 Are you shipping a lot, lately? Do you struggle to find wads of newspaper? (who even reads analog news anymore?)This is the product for you if you answered yes to any of the 2 questions above. It cuts and rips without brute force and cradles your delicate cargo while on its journey to friends, family, and clients.Take peace of mind knowing that if you purchase this product, every is going to be alright. Use protection! Wrap it up! It's a wrap! September 17, 2015 Bubble wrap, that is. And a LOT of it. At a pretty good price too. Useful to have laying around in you're constantly finding yourself in need of packing material (or stress relief). All in all, it does its job, and it does it well. My only gripes with it are that the perforations come every 12in, which I actually found a little too far apart while I was packing up a bunch of items to ship out this past week; and that the cardboard tube in the center is loose enough that it has a tendency to keep falling out of the roll. That said, neither of these are big enough issues to warrant docking any stars. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 19% Sturdy medium sized boxes May 16, 2017 thick boxes that we used for moving, however it's not "large", I would say it's medium sized. Boxes. For moving. August 28, 2016 Need some boxes? These are boxes. They are made from cardboard. They are durable enough for a good amount of abuse during a move. You can put things in them, tape them up, and them move them. You can stack them on top of each other at a weight of the average male's ability to lift said box and not fear collapse. These boxes also come with a very large bonus box, in which they are all shipped (in my case, about the height of these boxes and about double the width,) that one should definitely make use of during their move. They didn't give me superpowers, but you can successfully move on a budget by utilizing them. I would not recommend for long distance April 28, 2016 Boxes work well for a local move but they are thin. I would not recommend for long distance transport | 13% It's a wrap August 7, 2017 My wife and I often receive glasses as a gift and over the years we've built quite a collection. We just moved and wrapped all our glasses, dishes and other fragile items with this product. Our movers beat up some of our belongings pretty good but not a single glass or dish was harmed in the process. I attribute that to the bubble wrap and also the thoughtful and careful packing job my Better Half performed. The only downside is that the bubble wrap seemed very dirty/dusty so we ended up thoroughly washing everything after the move. good bubblewrap August 15, 2016 very nice bubblewrap, went through several rolls in our recent move, love the perforations every 12 inches, made it so much nicer to not have to have scissors handy as you wrapped...wish it was a little thicker/sturdier, always hearing bubbles pop as you wrap, that being said, nothing that was wrapped in it was broken or chipped in anyway, so it did the job! FYI-"Original cushioning" is the small bubbles. July 6, 2016 Product is fine. I, mistakenly, thought I was ordering the larger bubbles because I didn't realize "original" meant the small bubbles. As I opened it, I won't return it. Although I cannot use this for the original intent, it will undoubtedly come in handy in the future. I have ordered the correct product. Fast shipping! June 23, 2015 Very grateful to pack my dishes with this stuff. It didn't seem like 150 feet at all but to be fair I did not measure it. It came in a couple of days so I was very happy about that and in a nice box that I reused to pack in! I wish it was a little thicker and bigger bubbles but I really had no expectations never buying bubble wrap before. I all ready need more after packing a bunch of china.... So ill be ordering more. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 8% but they are not of the best quality. August 7, 2017 Convenient and cheap if you live in NYC since it's a hazzle to buy boxes, but they are not of the best quality. Just ok. Kind of flimsy. December 21, 2016 They survived shipping most things, but these are not thick or strong boxes. They are kind of cheaply made. Don't trust them with anything very fragile. somewhat light weight August 11, 2015 These boxes were a little light and there was some damage to the boxes when shipment arrived. Wish they would have held up better and will compare weight before I buy next time. walls pretty thin July 16, 2015 Good, not great boxes. Mainly suited for lightweight bulky items. Otherwise they have thinner walls and shift around when packed. Best to go with a heavier walled box for anything with any real weight. Holds true for all sizes from this company compared to a slightly pricier alternative. | 6% I appreciated the perforated seams, however I wish it ... September 20, 2017 I appreciated the perforated seams, however I wish it had stated that this was the SMALL bubbles not the large ones ...it did not have much cushion at all for heavy and delicate pieces. but this used to be awesome. The last roll I got had bubbles that ... March 24, 2017 Not sure what happened, but this used to be awesome. The last roll I got had bubbles that would pop simply by wrapping up an item... that NEVER happened with the real deal DUCK brand. Trying other brands now to see what I get. This roll has perforations every 12 inches. Convenient if ... July 23, 2016 This roll has perforations every 12 inches. Convenient if you are wrapping individual small items but less so for larger items (i.e our chairs) as the perforations can tear and release. My Favorite - When they ship you the right one December 6, 2015 Below is my review for the actual Duck Brand Bubble Wrap as opposed to what I was just sent - I have a mail order business so I go through a LOT of bubble wrap and I order this pretty regularly. My last order of two was as another reviewer said, wrapped in Saran Wrap, no Duck Branding present, and the quality is WAY LESS. It's not nearly as "bubbly" meaning I have to use more of it to feel like my items are safe and secure, it's hard to tear along the perforations and often tears into the sheet if that makes sense. I'm just so disappointed and am not sure how to resolve it.Previous review:I have been buying this for a long time but wanted to write because I was in a pinch and had to buy a roll from Staples as I ran out faster than I thought I would. Long story short, the Staples in-house brand bubble wrap sucked - super skinny, not "full bubbles, I didn't feel like my products being wrapped were very protected and had to use twice as much as the Duck Brand to make it work and the perforated lines might as well not have been there - tearing them left super jagged edges as opposed to the clean and easy ones from Duck Brand.Long story short, I'm so happy to have this bubble wrap back and am using the Staples brand as padding instead of actually wrapping items. As Advertised February 6, 2015 As advertised, but thinner than I'd like, and too easy to pop the bubbles (unless that's your objective). I didn't even realize there were tear lines until I read the ad again and then had to hunt to find them (they are there however). Not the fault of the product, but for me, I would have done better to just order more sleeve type protection, and something wider, as this product just barely covered the width of my dinner plates. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 1% | 3% Wimpy bubbles! March 2, 2017 Sorry to say I'm not as satisfied as most of the raters here. It was a good deal for the amount of bubble wrap, but this stuff popped if I looked at it wrong. I was trying to wrap things and all I heard was "pop pop pop" as I'm destroying the bubbles just gently wrapping an object. I hope our breakables survive the trip. Exceptionally fragile bubbles October 12, 2016 I've bought several rolls of small-bubble bubble wrap in recent years, in various brands. The thing that stood out about Duck Brand was that the bubbles were exceptionally fragile. They popped with very little effort as I was packing up some ceramic pieces. I'm accustomed to needing to apply deliberate force to pop bubbles, but with this brand I needed to handle it carefully while wrapping in order to AVOID popping the bubbles. I won't buy this brand again. The reviews seemed fine but when I ran out August 7, 2016 Purchased before moving to wrap glass and other fragile items. I had to use two layers for most things because it was so thin. I could feel a huge difference between this and wrap I had purchased at a home improvement store (Home Depot). The wrap at Home Depot was expensive so I figured I'd try something less expensive on Amazon. The reviews seemed fine but when I ran out, I went back to Home Depot and just spent the extra few dollars to be assured my things wouldn't break in the move. Not Very Durable May 24, 2016 I've seen worse but it's not the highest quality. It's made of low quality plastic. You can actually put a ball of it in one hand and pop the bubbles. You can't do that with decent quality bubble wrap. For a lot of applications, it probably doesn't matter. But if you are using it to ship something, whoever unwraps it will understand you were going low cost. Easily burst bubbles! Duck may have dropped the ball on this one. :( September 5, 2015 For context, I use bubble wrap extensively to wrap small and sensitive products for shipment all over the United States. Great for the small stuff with eBay and Pinterest shipments. When running out of the my usual Scotch bubble wrap, I decided to give another brand of bubble wrap a try from my usual Scotch Cushion Wrap w/ Dispensered Box, 12 Inches x 175 Feet (7953), due to both Duck's reputation as a quality product creator (I use their tape for my package shipments every time) and consistent reliability. These particular rolls of bubble wrap also feature a nifty "tear sheet" style perforation allowing for easily taking out 12" square sheets of the wrap without needing scissors.I must say though, this bubble wrap is extremely disappointing in it's ability to actually protect products. The bubbles burst from even very slight force, and I'm having to double wrap just to give my products the same kind of protection they'd receive with my usual Scotch wrap. Perhaps this is just a bad batch, or maybe it's their standard for this product, but this is not worthy of the Duck name. Going back to Scotch as soon as this runs out. Extremely Disappointing! May 27, 2015 Let's see if Amazon allows my review to be published this time. I purchased this after I ran out of the Pratt brand bubble wrap delivered in a cardboard box dispenser. This Duck brand is very inferior - it tears and pops more easily and requires the use of about double the product to securely wrap your items. Therefore, I cannot recommend this brand, despite the lower price!!! | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 5% | 3% Really flimsy; bubble pop too easily August 5, 2017 Really flimsy bubble wrap. The bubbles pop while you are trying to wrap things! This is little better than simply wrapping in a plastic bag. This is a rip-off. Duck Brand bubble wrap July 10, 2017 This is thin wrap. The bubbles popped as I wrapped it around light weight framed pictures. I had to wrap things twice to get any protection at all. The perforated sections were difficult to tear apart. I would have returned it had I not needed it so badly. I will not purchasd this agsin. ... bought three rolls of this stuff and it smells like a cigarette smoker's phlegm May 27, 2017 I bought three rolls of this stuff and it smells like a cigarette smoker's phlegm. Disgusting. Hmmm August 25, 2016 wife here: this latest batch would not 'rip' on the designated 'lines' like it usually does. I was so disappointed. I don't know why there is a difference from the last batch. Terrible quality bubble wrap July 27, 2015 We've been trying to find quality bubble wrap for some time, and decided to order this brand hoping that the extra cost would result in good quality.Well.....it wasn't. It's the worst bubble wrap we have ever received. The plastic is incredibly flimsy, and the bubbles pop too easily. We would not use it to pack anything fragile. And to clarify - this was bought via prime, and not via a third party seller. The search continues... Unquestionably the worst bubble wrap I have ever sen December 21, 2014 Unquestionably the worst bubble wrap I have ever sen. Numerous holes and clear spots were present. Try another brand. In the past I used bubble wrap from Value Mailers but this time I wanted a smaller amount..Neve again will I buy Duck Brand | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
