September 24, 2017 I have had one or two of these from Tupperware as a party gift over the years and saw these on amazon so I thought I'd get a couple more since they always get misplaced. I certainly don't need 10 of them, but this was the best choice for the money, so I bought the 10-pak. Still very inexpensive and I will have these for the rest of my life now or to give away! Great for pealing an orange, what more can I say. That is what they are for and there is no other way to peel an orange, so you need one. But having 10 of them makes it easier to find one to use when you want it! Love these peelers. April 23, 2017 I have been looking for these orange peelers for a long time. I can't even order them from Tupperware. They are only given as hostess gifts. I was so happy to give a few of these to some of my friends and family. Love these peelers! I LOVE these peelers February 23, 2017 I LOVE these peelers, and was happy to find them - They work great for getting the rind & pith off of oranges and keeping your hands and nails clean.I was surprised (but not disappointed) when I got them, and they were all black - I thought the wording of "colors may vary" meant that there could be more than one color in the order, and when I ordered the item photo was all rainbow colored. The color obviously does not make them perform any differently, and I am no less pleased to have them. September 11, 2016 I bought one of these last year as a gift for my niece, who was making herself limeade by squeezing a fresh lime daily into her water bottle. She was doing it entirely by hand (just squeezing it), which was a mess, and got seeds into the bottle, and lime juice all over the counter and her hands, too. Her family owned a big juicer, but it made no sense to drag it out and clean it up for just one or two pieces of fruit. A small but sturdy, easy to use and clean hand squeezer such as this one seemed the perfect gift. She reportedly loved it and used it a lot, but since I hadn't used it myself, I didn't review it. Recently, though, I visited them again, and got to use the squeezer for myself at their place. I was happy to see how well it does work, and how easy to clean and durable it is. No pieces to lose, squeezes small or larger citrus fruits with a flip of the inner cup, and no errant seeds. As soon as I got home, I ordered one for myself. I am very happy with it, and anticipate it continuing to function for years. Bet hand juicer you've ever owned! July 31, 2016 This is by far the best hand citrus juicer I've owned. Super easy to use - I don't have a lot of upper body strength and this tool does not need it. It squeezes every last drop out of limes and lemons with little to no effort. The orange peeler also was a great addition. Highly recommend this juicer to everyone. And it's cute too! Fits easily into my utensil drawer. THE BEST!!!! July 14, 2016 This Squeezer is the best! I've been struggling for years to squeeze lemons/limes manually, leaving a lot of juice unsqueezed in the process. But now, I just flip that lemon in the yellow part (smart idea since you flip the lime in the green part - cute, huh?), push down on the handles and before you know it, that lemon is flatter than a pancake. Easy item to clean and very cheerful looking. I keep it on my counter in my ceramic utensil holder. This is not something to be hidden in a drawer!!! I applaud PowerLix for a superb, useful, economical, good looking and helpful product. Now go out and buy one!!!! great product June 13, 2016 I love this lemon/lime squeezer. To have the ability to squeeze both lemons and limes in one product is outstanding not to mention the heave aluminum construction which helps to make the product more efficient. SQUEEZED THE MINUTES!!! May 12, 2016 Does the job very well. I used to manually squeeze lemon slices for my water and tea I take to work. This required me to cut the lemon into 4 or more pieces, then squeeze each one into a cup, which normally had a 50% chance of squirting lemon juice ALL OVER the table AND getting all those stupid lemon seeds IN THE JUICE. Picking those out were a pain in my butt, so I would end up accidentally drinking the seeds since I didn't have time to remove them in the first place. This thing is super dope as it cuts down all the labor by like 5 minutes, so I can save those precious minutes on other things. It also has two different sizes so I can use those mutant lemons from GMO seed-based lemons or puny organic lemons from the local co-op. Clean-up is smooth as it can get.It came with a thing for oranges, but I don't mess with oranges too much. Looks like and probably works with the lemon or grapefruit too.One last thing, the photo of it next to the glass and sliced lemon is to scale. Keep that in mine if you're hoping for a dinky thing. January 3, 2016 wonderful product What makes this Lemon Press stand out from all the others is first, Squeezing lemons and limes has never been this easy and this comfortable. This press will be around in my kitchen for years! This Lemon Press is sturdy!! It weigh in at almost 12 ounces. The press opens at the hinge. The strainer bottom piece holds the seeds and excess pulp. It's dishwasher safe, but truly it's so easy to wash this press you don't need to use the dishwasher.LOVE this lemon press. |

Getting a 10-pack allows people to pack one in the lunch bag and still leave some at home for those left behind. The first shipment had a damaged bag and only 1 peeler. The company did a great job in replacing my order. Product will work great! My only disappointment was the color I thought ... February 18, 2016 Just what I expected. Product will work great! My only disappointment was the color I thought I was receiving was orange (which is what I wanted). Instead mine were pink. I would not have ordered them if they were pink and I did not see anywhere on the ad that colors would vary. Now that I have received them and went back to my order, there was a statement that color will vary. I lost my one and only Tupperware citrus peeler so ... February 18, 2016 I lost my one and only Tupperware citrus peeler so I went on Amazon to order. I had to order 10 but I decided that was okay because I could share with family, friends and church. However, I had no idea all 10 would be pink. Definitely does not go with my kitchen decor. Wish I at least had gotten a color mixture. Citrus Peelers - Tupperware March 1, 2014 They came in purple as pictured. I used one on about 200 very tough peeling, but pretty good tasting grapefruit from my backyard tree. It was slippery to hold when wet, so wrap a rubber band around the middle and it works well. It is more flexible than the orange ones I buy in Florida, Over time they should be more resistant than the orange ones to snapping in two on a tough grapefruit peel. One Minus-- The hook does not dig as deeply for scoring as the original orange ones do so you have to press a little harder when scoring the peel.They work. The price is right. There are ten of them. | 11% Fast juicer but the PowerLix label paint needs to be removed first (with the juice)! May 23, 2016 This is a device to quickly squeeze lemons and limes. It is maybe not as efficient at getting all the juice out as a traditional hand juicer that you grind the fruit against, but you can do more lemon halves faster. ODDLY the black paint they use to label the PowerLix is NOT resistant to citrus juice, so during the first usage you see black paint/ink dissolving before your eyes. However, once you have wiped away all of the black paint fro the handle it is good to go! This is a great tool. My husband and I are Food Network ... April 20, 2016 This is a great tool. Sturdy, effective, attractive. Squirts out the side a bit. February 2, 2016 Sturdy, attractive, nice to hold, does indeed squeeze lemons and other citrus. Juice tends to squirt out the side, so hold the squeezer over something to catch the overflow. Smaller bowl can handle fruits down to the size of a clementine. To do key limes or other very small fruits, works best if you put several pieces of fruit in at one time, squeeze, reposition, and squeeze again. good product January 8, 2016 I received mine yesterday i haven't used it yet but it looks pretty good nice looking, sturdy, heavier than it looks in the picture a bit on a smaller size perfect for lemons etc but for oranges you may need to cut it in 3 or 4 pieces. Good Quality! December 25, 2015 We bought this for squeezing oranges, mostly for cooking. If I had to squeeze an entire glass of orange juice it might be a little tiring on the hands, but for squeezing just a few it works great and I would recommend it. It seems to be high quality...no plastic. It's all aluminum. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would prefer that it have a little larger bowl to accommodate those large California Navel Oranges, but I suppose I could quarter a large orange rather than just cutting it in half. I'll try that when I buy some larger oranges. I'm pretty sure that will work well. I would definitely buy this again for our purposes, and who knows?, I may even use it to squeeze out some lemon juice for lemonade next summer. I like that I can use it to squeeze any type ... November 25, 2015 I like that I can use it to squeeze any type of citrus fruit, but it is a bit heavy. I, however, gave away my lemon press and will use this one instead. |

Not stiff enough November 27, 2015 We've lost the original set of yellow citrus peelers that we got some 30+ years ago. We bought these hopping they were as good as the old ones. It is light weight and easy to use. It took more strength to squeeze the lemon than I expected and it never did extract all the juice. The cut end of the lemon folder under to create a lip that kept the pulp from releasing all their juice. Perhaps it will work better on key limes. |

Two Star Reviews: | 1% Two Stars December 29, 2016 based on picture I was expecting multi colored citrus peepers, the were all blue. UGH. Not what we ordered. :( Sigh. April 6, 2016 We got a bag of pink and black ones. If the description had explained it would be other colors, we would not have bought them. We needed these in orange for a reason and did not get a single orange one. More product detail would have been very helpful. Awkwarder than other style citrus peelers. April 2, 2015 These work, but are a little awkward to use. I've had some better ones that have rounder bodies that are more comfortable. Personally, I wish I eould have purchased one of the other ones Amazon carries. These are uncomfortable for me to handle. | 3% Broke first use January 22, 2017 The product is nice and easy to use but unfortunately the green middle piece broke upon first use. I give this product 2 stars because it has potential to be a good product and a nice design but it's too easily broken. Would not buy this again March 15, 2016 First of all, as somebody else wrote, the hinge is making this squeezer to appear very flimsy since it allows the handles to freely float. I contacted the seller and was told that this is normal and designed like this. Fair enough. It works well with lemons and limes, however, the company markets it to also squeeze oranges. My fault that I did not read all the questions before I bought the product. To one of the answers the company responds, that the oranges have to be cut in quarters for the squeezer to work. At the first use of it, the companies logo printed on one of the handles completely dissolved and disappeared. That for sure raised my eyebrows about the quality of the entire product.I would almost believe that the product with its shortcomings should not be advertised to squeeze oranges with oranges cut in half and say something different when a question is asked. Not great quality. February 10, 2016 It worked great while I had it but after 1 month of use the lime part just snapped off. I wish it had lasted. Great tool. Edit January 31, 2016 Great tool.Edit: I have to withdraw my rating. It's a great item but today the lime part broke off during normal use. Amazon says no returns or exchanges. January 27, 2017 I ordered a variety pack of colors, not just one color, one pack of 10 were all red and the other was all pink, they still function as well but did not like the colors, was ordered as green, blue , red, pink, black, and other off colors. I was discussed when they came. False advertisement July 30, 2016 These peelers are shown in orange color but I received a magenta color. The color of the item shipped should be listed and leave it to the customer to decide whether or not that color would work for them. I don't appreciate false advertisement since it just wastes everybody's time. WRONG COLOUR (can't stand green!) March 5, 2014 Great item but was sent the ugly GREEN ones when I paid $2 more than another seller was selling them because I wanted the PURPLE ones! Not pleased! | 8% Garbage! Also the company's logo painted on the handle is a waste as the citrus juice wears it off almost immediately & makes a gooey mess as it does. Will be looking for something of higher quality. Ink rubbed off - buy another option. April 24, 2016 I only used this product once, and it did a fine job of squeezing a lemon, however, the ink from the logo rubbed off all onto my hands and all over the product. It was a sticky ink that wouldn't wash off the enamel easily. As there are so many options for squeezers out there, I would buy a different product and avoid the potential hassle. Cheap, cheap and just cheap. April 19, 2016 This is just a cheap and poorly made Lime/lemon squeezer. I'm going to return it. Don't buy this one, instead get the one from Crate and Barrel for a couple of $ more or the one from Williams Sonoma. Both are really well made and will last years if cleaned after each use. Get a different one. February 11, 2016 Ended up returning. This juicer is very loose when you move the handles up and down. It didn't come with the peeler. For $14.99 you can get one of better quality and forego the peeler that it doesn't come with. |
