This is my second time ordering these.
October 14, 2016
This is my second time ordering these. My husband takes his lunch everyday and we had a hard time finding anything that would not leak in his briefcase. These are better than my expensive plastic ware and they are lighter than most options. Yes, they will chip after a while, but I freeze mine and put them in the dishwasher. If you hand wash them they will probably last longer. I get about 6 months use out of them and that is using them everyday. They stack well and do not leak.
Awesome!
September 28, 2016
These are great and I am so glad I bought them! They are easy to store! I stack the lids, and then the containers on top of those; they do not take up hardly any space! Also, they are dishwasher AND microwave safe! Our society is really into meal prepping and eating healthy, therefore, if you're interested in that life, these are a great way to help you get started. If you just need something to bring your lunch in that you can reheat in the microwave, these are awesome!
Great box set

Great box sex and microwavable. None of them have broken yet. So far, so good.
Exactly what I wanted!
June 30, 2016
These are exactly what I was looking for. Durable, dishwasher and microwave safe, with a clear plastic lid to see what I've got as a meal makes these a perfect buy. Perfect for left overs, if you're meal prepping, or just using as general food storage. And the price just can't be beat! A definite MUST BUY!!They also come in 2 or 3 compartment style lunch box sets as well. Perfect.
May 26, 2016
Ordering my second set of these meal prep containers. If you love one open container, this is the product for you. Personally, i like these open containers over the split containers because i can fit more food and a larger variety. These give you the perfect amount of space for a well balanced meal (usually an 8oz pc of chicken, veggies and rice/baked potato). These are microwave and dishwasher safe and not flimsy like the kind you get from chinese delivery. At $6.99 for 9, you can't beat this deal. Just ordered my second batch. I highly recommend these for anyone trying to work on meal prepping and portioning meals. Perfect!
Good product, good price.

My first purchase of food storage/reheating containers, and I'm very happy. Lots of room for nice, big portions and evenly reheats food. Freezes well so far, I haven't had any problems with cracking. I will most certainly be purchasing again in the future.Edit: It has been a year since my first purchase, and I've had a total of two lids crack with regular use. Both were stored in the freezer and well frozen when they cracked. Overall, I am still very satisfied with my original purchase of the 38oz 9pk containers for $9.99, and I will be purchasing the current 28oz 24pk for $12.99. I highly recommend this brand, but be gentle with frozen containers. It's best to let them thaw or microwave them straight out of the freezer, without trying to open beforehand.

Perfect heavy duty trays!
May 15, 2017
My husband and I are making microwaveable meals for his parents who need help with meals now in this stage in life. And since meal delivery is expensive, making our own home cooked food and using these trays are perfect. They are heavy duty - not cheaply constructed. Highly recommend.
Inexpensive and so convenient!
April 13, 2017
I use these everyday, I send dinner to my father in law. Instead of sending my dishes I use these. Perfect size for a good three coarse meal. The walk next door requires no plastic wrap, food stays warmer, and no spills ... he loves gravy! I wash in the dishwasher without any problems.
I love these for the kids' lunches
July 1, 2016
I love these for the kids' lunches. It's just the right size for a main food and two snacks, or a main with carrots and dip. We have to deal with a lot of food allergies in our house, so the kids bring their own lunches to school everyday, and these are simply awesome. They're also great to use if you're giving food to friends or family.
Durable and convenient

I have recently started trying to eat healthier so I was so excited to find these lunch box sets. I spent the day preparing healthy meals for the week and these portion controlled containers have solved my storage needs. I simply grab am already prepared meal from the refrigerator and heat it up in the microwave, or take with me for lunch. They arrived stacked with the containers on the bottom and the lids on top. They were all in perfect condition and easy to use. They have 3 compartments 1 larger one and 2 smaller ones. For myself I used the larger for my meat selection and the 2 smaller for veggies. Although the larger could be used for a healthy salad. My daughter hates to have her food touching so using a single compartment container is not much of an option for her to grab and go. They are very sturdy and I can't see having any issue with the microwave.
Exactly what I needed for meal prep.Fitness Junkie Dream
May 12, 2015
I am a personal trainer and these are right on the money, with portioned controlled compartments for protein ,starch and vegetables. You have to put the lids on tight and place them flat or else any oil/gravy may leak in transport .They are durable and work well in the microwave.I have referred them to my clients. My suggestion is to make one a little larger or with four compartments for those who meal prep and are heavily into fitness
Love these
March 9, 2015
These were not as I had expected. The compartments are separated by the bottom and the lid. The food does not flow from one compartment to the other. The containers are sturdy and wash easily. When microwaved they did not warp out of shape. I frequently send food to a friend who, because of injury, does not cook. With the containers, I know that the food can safely be microwave and, because of the price, I don't have to worry about getting the containers back.I will reorder these.

I'm pleased

They look great and hold up well for now. I just got mine in yesterday, so only time can tell how long their lifetime will be. For now, no complaints.
Good product, even better price
March 22, 2017
Love my meal prep containers. They are simple and very functional for the price you pay. I read this product for stars because the plastic that the containers are made with was a little more thin than I expected and one of the containers had a small split in its side after hand washing the first time. Other than that I am very pleased with the product.
Decent for the price.
January 12, 2017
These are nice. They're what you get from a restaurant when you order thai food or maybe a pasta. They're thin. Produced cheaply. Serve their purpose and you get a TON for a decent price. They microwave and hold their shape (though I wouldn't suggest microwaving for long amounts of time...) though they do get a little hot due to how thin they are. You could look at the picture and make that observation right away. I use these for my weekly meal prep and to count my macros and they hold up nicely. However, treat them with care. They are still cheaply made. One fall to the floor at the wrong angle could cost you a box. I dropped one from 4 feet up on hard tile and a corner chipped off leaving me to throw it away. If you're prepared for the thin boxes, I say go for it. It comes with so many it doesn't hurt to lose one or two and they should last you a good while. They also don't take on the smell of the foods after you wash them. I'd guess when that happens, their durability has worn off anyway. Good for those on a budget and need something quick! I'd recommend them for meal prep. Take up minimal storage in the fridge too.
No more lost Tupperware and Rubbermaid
November 30, 2016
I got tired of losing my Tupperware and Rubbermaid containers when I sent leftovers home with guests (my children!) who neglected to return them. Rather than pestering them for the return, I thought these containers might be a good solution. Got them just in time for Thanksgiving and was very pleased with them. They give a good "snap" when they seal and they hold a good amount of food. I will continue to purchase these to send home with leftovers. And the price is very reasonable.
So far these are a bargain!
June 23, 2016
The seal is so tight that it feels as if I may crack the lid when attempting to remove it from the base. I have run a couple of the bases through the dishwasher on the top rack and they handled that with no problem. I don't plan to use them in the microwave as I will reserve that for my Pyrex glass containers. These do have a few advantages over the glass containers. They are so much lighter to tote in my lunch bag and have been wonderful for salads, are much easier to store, and stack well in the fridge when I actually do a little bit of prep in advance. I got these at a very good price ($5.99 for 9 lids and bottoms). If these hold up for a few months, I will be very satisfied and will change my review to five stars.
i can grab and go my lunch and snacks to office so easy. I do a warming up in this container
December 13, 2015
I got another set stack-able lunch boxes and they are very handy. Now i have two compartments and single one boxes. i can grab and go my lunch and snacks to office so easy. I do a warming up in this container , they are microwave safe but i dont heat food in it longer to be on safer side. I just transfer those food items to a disposable plate to heat them longer in microwave. Good news is that no need to worry about cleaning them up immediately, I can wash all of them together in dish washer and that saves lot of hand cleaning . They are top shelf washer safe but i wash then in both shelf and seems pretty good.

Pretty good.
April 4, 2016
They are good for what they're supposed to do, with a couple flaws:1. The lids hold tight, but they are tedious to attach, as you have to walk your fingers around the entire rim and snap it into place in multiple places. It doesn't pop right onto it like a Glade tupperware lid.2. They are dishwasher safe, but they are much too deep to sit vertically in the dishwasher; that is, they don't fit in there where plates and pans go in sideways. You have to lay them face-down, which takes up a LOT of room in the dishwasher, so you could only wash a few of them at a time, with hardly any other dishes in there. So I just ended up washing them by hand, even though the fact that they are dishwasher safe was one of the reasons I bought these. As far as just having a sturdy (and they are sturdy, I don't know why other reviewers are saying they are flimsy) container with separations for different foods, they work just fine. I do not carry it in a backpack or anything so I can't comment on whether or not there is leakage of liquids like other reviewers have done.
Good for portion control, but wish the quality was better
January 6, 2016
I like these containers for the separated compartments. I can make my lunches for the week on Sunday and have them ready to grab before work each day. It definitely helps with portion control, too. The quality is similar to that of Chinese takeout containers. They definitely don't seem like they'll hold up to much abuse, which won't be a problem for me but is something to consider if using it for kids or a husband like mine that will probably be less careful with it. Lol. I bought these during a black Friday sale so I feel like I got a good deal for what they are. I took off one star in part because of the durability and because I have only hand washed them and already noticed that a piece was chipped off one of the container's lips. It may have come that way and I didn't notice it, or it was so delicate that it came off during a hand washing or removing of the lid. Kind of a bummer, but the container is still usable at least.
These are so handy and a nice size for portioned meals
September 22, 2015
These are so handy and a nice size for portioned meals. The tops are raised slightly so you can fit awkward pieces inside and still close it. Although, I would NOT use these for to go lunches, especially if it needs to be tipped to the side. These are flimsy, and not air tight, so not recommended for traveling around with lots of movement. These are perfect for meal preps to sit in the fridge at home, or if you can transport them right side up In a bag to work to set in the fridge accordingly. I'd say these are great for the price, and it's awesome they do well in the microwave and dish washer. The only negative would be the seal not being leak proof, but I bought these to use at home so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I'd buy another set if I wanted to prep more meals than 10!
Good Product, Poor Packaging
September 1, 2015
I was kind of weary about getting these containers because of other reviews stating that they arrived with broken lids. Well, wouldn't you know it? Mine, too, arrived with a broken lid. It was only one broken lid and it was a pretty small crack right in the corner of the raised part that goes over the 16 oz. slot. It still fits on properly and hasn't cracked anymore (but I'm still trying to make sure I don't use it.) I didn't really feel that it was worth having to send it back just for one broken lid. I do think that the packaging could be a little better... It came in a box that I felt was a little too large and with only one air-filled plastic bag inside. So basically, the containers were just sliding back and forth which I am sure has contributed to all the broken lids from different customers. As for the product itself, it's great. The lids fit on very snug and they hold a pretty generous amount of food. I will definitely be buying more eventually. I just hope they can get the packaging perfected a bit.
a great value. I'm using them to pack lunch for ...
May 25, 2015
Overall, a great value. I'm using them to pack lunch for work, and they work well for that purpose. Also, if there is a family member who isn't around for dinner, we use these to "make them a plate" to save for when they get home.Pro: surprisingly heavy duty at this price point, well proportioned compartment sizes, clear top (it's not crystal clear, but you can tell at a glance what's inside), stack well for storage so they don't take a lot of space, less than US $2 each, easily washableCon: while the compartments are well separated and fairly tight fitting, neither they or the outer seal is liquid-tight so if you have any excess liquid it can leak between compartments and outside the container - don't put it on edge if you have sauces or juices in any of the compartments! things like drained fruit chunks are ok, but if anything drips when holding it in the air, don't expect it to stay inside unless your very careful about keeping it flat and upright.
Great for cooked ahead frozen meals
April 25, 2015
I got these to freeze dinners prepared ahead of time. I like to have at least a week's worth of frozen meals for my husband and I ready to reheat whenever we are in a hurry or want to take a night off from cooking. These containers are a good size for portion control. One is perfect for me, however, my husband usually eats two. When I freeze them, I put a layer of foil around them to make sure the lid stays on till the meal is completely frozen. I write the date and contents with a sharpie on the foil. They are good to just put right into the microwave to reheat. The lid is not really tight fitting, but it is good for splatter prevention. The material these are made with is pretty flimsy, and some have cracked/broken along the edges after a few times of use. I do like them for the purpose I bought them for, and would buy again.

June 12, 2017
Containers are very brittle broke a few just washing them, dropped one and it completely shattered, good if you aren't hard on containers you use.
A little flimsy
February 28, 2017
I'm going to continue to use these containers because they still get the job done, but they are not the best. I even had a cracked lid when I opened the packaging. But you get 24 of them and I'm not a big complainer. Just don't expect rubber maid quality plastic. This bends easily and the lids crack easy. I gave three stars because they serve their purpose and there are plenty of them.
Not the best but good enough
November 15, 2016
These are not very sturdy trays. I purchased them for food prepping and to stack them in the fridge so we can pull them out as the week goes on. When they are full it is a good idea to use too hands to lift them if you lift from one side (with lid off) you might lose your food. I have had them for a month or so now and they have been in the dishwasher many times and are holding up well. WARNING: when the lids get cold they are very brittle, remove very very carefully. I have cracked 3 lids already and they are now in the trash, so I am three lids shy of a set.
Cheap plastic, lids break easily
October 3, 2016
Cheaply made, and are NOT the same you get with your Chinese takeout! At least not in my neck of the woods. I actually bought these to paint with.....instead of using a palette I use these containers so I can mix a lot of the same acrylic paint with a gloss medium, or even with mixing multiple colors. This gives me the ability to save the unused paint by putting a lid on it, and the next day I can pop the lid off and pick up where I left off. The problem I have with these containers is that they are not as flexible as what I have used in the past. The bowl itself is ok, but the issue is with the lids. They tend to crack along the edges when you put on or take off the lid. It's like the plastic is harder and not as flexible, which causes it to crack. They may be good for a couple uses but after that, once the lid breaks, they're going straight in the trash.
but they definitely are not like a heavy duty Tupperware or rubber maid
June 6, 2016
I purchased these containers to use for my lunch box for work, they are 3 months old now, I'm now down to 3. The lids have all cracked.. needless to say, I work 5 days a week, and take 2 of these everyday for lunch, and also ran through the dishwasher couple time per week, and microwaved everyday. I definitely put some miles on these, but they definitely are not like a heavy duty Tupperware or rubber maid... I'm still satisfied with my purchase, just wanted to share my experience with these containers.
Will shatter easily when frozen
January 7, 2016
I don't hate them, but had hoped when I bought these and the round ones that could use them in the freezer. They shatter easily, not good for freezer. The seal is tight for soups for my leftovers in fridge, but would like to then put in freezer. Also, two of the lids were cracked at edge when I unwrapped them after receiving. So two unusable.

November 10, 2016
I would probably give 3.5 stars. The product is decent for the price. A few things to note- mine did not close tightly. I used a rubber band around each one and it was fine but the containers felt insecure and did not snap all the way around. Also the compartments are separated, but not tightly. So if you have something wet or even damp in one side and something crisp on the other it wont stay that way. You just have to pack accordingly and keep the container level. But for my purposes they worked well. And arrived fast. The lids can also crack easily.
product came on time and so far looks like it will hold up for the purpose I intend
October 11, 2016
Just received yesterday, product came on time and so far looks like it will hold up for the purpose I intend. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because some of the lids were cracked and broken leaving me with 2 less containers than I ordered, paid for and was counting on. I can't find any information on who to contact to request a replacement so I guess I'm just out 2 containers.....paid for 10, have 8 functional :(
Cross your fingers for the better quality shipped to you...
June 16, 2016
It appears that there are older versions being sent to customers. Beware there are versions with a lip on the lid and ones that have no lip. The ones that have no pull lip tab are of poor quality. I think they have since improved the way these fit to seal food. I tried to contact the company but they ignored my request. Two of the older versions have cracked completely with only 2 uses out of it. This is perfect for meal prepping... if you get the good quality ones.On my second order I got good ones. However if you do end up freezing them be careful they Crack easily. I hope this company takes this feedback information and reinforces the lids and bottoms.. they did a little bit and I think if they reinforce them again it should be good.
Price is good, quality is okay, customer service is good.
January 13, 2016
This product fits our needs. We need meal Tupperware for lunches that separates the food. However, upon receiving the product, two lids were cracked. Thankfully, after a few emails, the company agreed to send us replacements for the cracked lids.I'd have given 4 stars but at lunch today, just by opening one of the containers, the lid's corner cracked completely off and the black container's corner is also chipped. I expected them to be a little bit better quality, to be honest, and will probably look for a different brand when we order more (which will probably be sooner than expected given the quality).

September 26, 2015
These containers are great for meals if you keep the containers flat but they are NOT leak-proof. Ziploc used to make a 3-compartment leak-proof container perfect for lunches but they no longer make these. Each ziploc compartment was separated and the lid sealed all three at once and you didn't have your watermelon leaking into your sandwich. So I am on a quest for a comparable product. I purchased these because they were advertised as leak-proof and seemed like the closest thing I had seen. When they arrived I opened one, poured some water into one compartment, closed the lid tight and turned the container sideways as they would be packed for lunches in my kids' backpacks. As I feared, the water leaked into the other compartments and then right out of the container. If you won't be turning them on their sides, they felt fairly sturdy (I did not think they were flimsy as other reviews stated)--both the lid and the bottom--and seemed to be fairly high quality for 10 containers in the range of $17. I returned them with no problem. Good luck!

Quality disappoints
October 19, 2017
Disappointed with the quality. I regularly food prep our meals so I need a dependable, dishwasher friendly product. These are the perfect size for our meals. However, within the first week 3 lids have cracked and 2 of the containers have been damaged in the microwave...I only reheat the food usually 1.5 min and I haven’t had this happen with other brand containers. I wash these on the top rack of the dishwasher only because they would definely melt on the bottom because they are so thin. I have a personal trainer business and do not reorder these nor will I recommend this to my clients.
Good for a short time
August 10, 2017
I started meal prepping as part of my diet and bought these with the intention of reusing them. One of them came cracked which sometimes happens and it's not really a big deal for me. The thing that bothered me was the fact that after I used a couple of them, I hand washed them and would leave them to dry and on the next time i'd try and put the lid on a tiny crack would form.If you want something that's only for one or two uses these are great, but I'll have to buy something else that's a little more durable

I am not a fan of these at all. The product is not sturdy and I cannot recommend these for meal prep. The covers do not come off easily at all and the corner of 2 of these have already broken off. The package arrived with one of the containers cracked. When I purchase cheap I expect cheap, so one out of ten did not really bother me. The containers are larger than you expect, so actually measure what you plan to carry these. The real problem was that the lid does not seal for liquids. Will not purchase this manufacturer again.

Leaks everywhere, not like advertised.
August 8, 2015
I was very excited about these because my sister and her husband ordered like 20 and swore by them. I got them quickly, sooner than expected, unfortunately the quality is not what I expected. The lids don't seal well and liquids leak out the side and spill over in the other compartments. I have tried every which way to close them up too: lots of pressure, little pressure, seal from the inside out, from the outside in, from side to side......always leaks. The whole reason I got them was because every one said they DIDN'T leak out; guess I got a bad batch.I would have sent them back, unfortunately someone at work took one of mine, so I no longer have a whole set to return. I don't really like to freeze food then reheat it (I don't even own a microwave), but maybe I'll try it with these so I can get some use out of them. Big bummer :(
Not good for meal prepping
July 31, 2015
The trays are nicely sized however the tops click in and out of place when trying to close each of them ..after freezing i found freezer burn thus confirming the tops do not seal well. Ok for disposable use but not for meal prepping.

BUY SOMETHING ELSE. These are the cheapest possible take-out containers of their kind.
September 5, 2017
Do not buy these, they are a rip off. I have gotten take-out containers at restaurants that were much higher quality. These are very thin and flimsy, and cost <=$0.05 each FOB from China. You can buy containers from brands like Ziploc and Rubbermaid for the same price. It's somewhat tricky to see without zooming in and looking closely, but you can read "Thank You" embossed on the lids. The seller has attempted to make it inconspicuous but you can see for yourself. These and similar "meal prep containers" are just take-out containers for restaurants marked up 20+ times to separate you from your money for an inferior quality product. I can't speak to some of the other brands being sold here on Amazon, but this particular item has got to be the thinnest plastic / lowest grade available.Had to burn $8 to return these, don't make my mistake.

August 21, 2017
I have purchased from home native in the past and the products they supply have been great. The 38oz containers i ordered in the past were great. The lids and containers were a heavier plastic and did well in the microwave, hand washing and the dishwasher. These 28oz I ordered recently are complete garbage. The containers are extremely thin and many have cracked while hand washing them. They are nothing more than cheap flimsy take out containers.Bring back the old product that was thicker and i would be happy to purchase again.
Horrible Product
July 17, 2017
Horrible, cheap, flimsy product. The bottoms crack while hand washing or using a fork. Lids don't seal. They leak all over the place. I bought these because my usual brand was out of stock and the reviews on these were great. But, mine are awful. Am returning all of the, oblong and round ones. Don't waste your money.
Flimsy "to go" containers....save your money!!!
June 14, 2017
These are flimsy "To Go" containers....not sturdy for meal prep to be used over and over again. The material is thin and if dropped you WILL definitley crack the container and/or lid. I purchased 2 sets, now I wish I would have just opted for a nicer set of tupperware or something. These containers are like getting food at your local chinese restaurant and re-using the container for meal prep...not durable at all. And I didn't really think about the silverwear aspect when purchasing, again I wish I would have opted for something else, b/c they're literally made for food service...and what a waste to our environment (sigh). I wish I would have looked in to these more....I do NOT recommend these to anyone! The lids even say "Thank You" on them....so clearly meant for restaurant to-go orders. If you're only using them in that manner (to go orders) then these are perfect....otherwise, save your money.
Cheap, disposable containers.

Have to hold the lids on with rubber bands
September 21, 2017
Bought these particular containers because they were supposed to seal the separate compartments. However, the lids don't seal at all. Have to hold them closed with rubber bands. They're the perfect size and just what I wanted but I'm looking for replacements where the lids stay closed

After 1 day, the lid already cracked open. I don't see any other really good reviews on Amazon so I'm not even sure it's worth sending back. Most of the other reviews seems to say the same thing. I wouldn't waste my time ordering these unless you just want to take a chance.
Leaky lids
June 29, 2015
Great concept, poor design. The lids DO NOT prevent your food from leaking into the other compartments. Additionally, the lids leak in general causing your liquid foods to leak out of the container altogether. Unless you enjoy mixing your liquid food with your solid food, look elsewhere.
