My older daughter has the apparent "Older" version of this same seat that I purchased in 2013. I bought this one, however, because we LOVED nearly everything it had to offer--security, safety, installation ease, etc.Issues we've had:Other than the replacement buckle, it's been great! No actual problems performance wise. However, there are some design issues that are different with this compared to the models my friends have, such as-must remove from vehicle to adjust the height of the straps-this version has a more hidden strap release button, making it a little less efficient but still just as usable-I feel like the padded insert is cheaply made compared to the older version-the little head pad thing is separate from the lower back-I can't decide if that's awesome or not yet.-after probably a half dozen washes over the last few years, the cover still doesn't fit over the seat like it should-- it never really fit well to begin with, but had to say something.Things I liked:-pretty straightforward directions on the the labels on how to properly install the seat-directions on appropriate LATCH uses-optional seat compensating feet on the base to accommodate more vehicle seat options.-TWO CUP HOLDERS (seriously, I didn't know this was going to be a huge deal to me, but it is.)-fairly easy to remove cover to wash.-Lastly, for the price? PERFECT when you have to budget.A+++

My husband drives a 1999 Jetta and we wanted a second car seat for his car so we wouldn't have to move the car seat so much. This car seat had excellent reviews and was comparable to the car seat I have, which was an additional $60.00. It also fits in his back seat, in the middle, rear facing. If you want to have a second car seat, I don't think it would fit but it fits just fine by itself. My husband is 6 feet and he didn't have to adjust his seat at all when we installed this seat.This is not an easy seat to regularly move from car to car. Just don't. We looked at the easy to move seats and found that buying two of these seats was the same cost as buying one of the easy to transfer seats. And honestly, we didn't want to move them anyhow so it made purchasing this car seat as a secondary an easy decision.

Great price and very nice car seat! It was easy to install and the instruction manual is in English (separate Spanish booklet included) with REAL words and not just pictures. I love the fact that it will it is adaptable for rear or front facing and will last my grandchild through many years of growth. It is attractive and the fabric is good quality and durable. The cup holders are very convenient. Nicely engineered!

This is the second Graco My Ride 65 I have owned. I have six kids - and it's pretty much my "go to" car seat for infants! I used an infant bucket seat until my six month old outgrew that. I ordered this as something he can comfortably use for many, many months to come. It is such a breeze to install. It fits rather comfortably in my Dodge Grand Caravan behind the passenger seat rear facing. The latch system is VERY easy to use and the level color indicator makes it easy to know that it is level and safe. It's super light weight as well. That's a HUGE plus. I've had the Diono Radian before and that thing is a BEAST. This is so light weight but has really good safety ratings that I can drive in peace knowing my little Meatball is safe back there. And the color options are GREAT. Cupholders will come in handy once he's bigger. Love the padding insert as well - very easy to adjust and take away if needed. Adjusting the straps takes a little effort but not bad at all (adjusting straps meaning moving them up a notch). Overall - this was AMAZING and well worth every penny!!!

My husband had someone turn out in front of him driving my daughter home from the sitters. He was doing 45 and barely had time to brake. The airbags deployed and our car did a 180. The other car got driven across two lanes of traffic and into a light pole. Both cars were totaled. The seatbelt stretched and my daughter's seat tilted way over but it held and the only marks on her were on her legs from the harness. She was perfectly fine. Very thankful for this seat.

I love this car seat! My son has it and now my daughter has this one. The apple design is super cute and we love the two cup holders. We use one for snacks and one for a drink or toys. It's a perfect car seat for once they outgrow their infant seat because it is reversible and dies both rear facing and forward facing. It is a little wide and I read reviews saying that people can't fit it in the suburbans. It is not that big!!! I will admit I can not use it in my Mazda 3 but if I had a full size sedan it does fit because it fit just fine in my mother in laws Corolla. It is a pain to move from vehicle to vehicle but we buckle it in using the safety bars in the vehicle seat to attach to the car seat.

1/3 the price of other car seats i have seen, kids loving the mini mouse theme, 3 car anchor straps plus room for seat belt for security, and all straps are easily adjustable

simply adorable and perfect for my 1 year old granddaughter. It was pretty easy to assemble and install thanks to the directions. I love the cup holders for her sippy cup! It has several adjustments for the seatbelt as the baby grows. It's good for up to 40 lbs. Right now, little Avery is a solid 20 lbs. so I imagine I can get another 2 years or so out of it before we have to go to a bigger seat. It doesn't lean back as much as the beginner carseats, it props them up a little so Avery is happy about that. She likes to look out the window and doesn't want to miss anything. It's also comfortable enough for her to snooze in :)

I bought this seat largely due to the good reviews. I'm really glad I did. This seat was a breeze to install and is lightweight. My son is 14 months old and 26 lbs, we still rear face. I installed this seat in my husbands car which is a 2 door Camaro and it installed correctly without needing to use a rolled up towel. I really wanted a smaller seat because the other seat we have caused his passenger seat to be pushed all the way forward and it wouldn't lock into place. With this car seat we didn't have that problem. I plan on using it after he's 2 and we turn him around to forward facing. LOVE that it's Mickey Mouse and the price is also affordable.

I bought this seat when I saw it on sale and I couldn't be happier with it. The seat is well cushioned and material is easy to clean. It also doesn't take up as much space as the previous rear facing seat that we used. The only thing I could mark down for is that it is a tiny bit wider than I was expecting but I didn't feel like it was that big of an issue as it is no wider than any other car seat we have used. The straps are easy to adjust, it is cute and sleek, and it is very easy to get my son in and out which was a struggle with our previous seat. All around very nice product.

I just bought this for my daughter and she loves it! Installing is easy, the Instructions in the booklet were very easy to follow and very helpful. I get so nervous when installing a car seat because even the smallest mistake can be life threatening in an accident. This actually is a much Hotter pink in person and I was so excited! Kind of wish the ear/bow pillow went up a little higher because my daughter is a little tall for it even on the highest inserts but thats not what really matters.Great Car seat and all my friends are Jealous especially my niece :) would recommend to anyone with a child that love Minnie!

My family loves this car seat. It is quite large because it isn't adjustable (the straps adjust, but the height of the seat is fixed) but that is kind of a positive for me if you have the room for it. We have a more expensive Graco seat that you can slide the back up and down to adjust the straps and height, but my daughter likes this one more because she has way more room in the seat. The seats anchors are much easier to use, both tightening and loosening, than the other Graco and multiple other car seats we've seen. I certainly recommend this if your car has enough room for this big guy.The only negative I have found is that the head rest attaches via a loop on the bottom cushion. This means as your child gets taller it eventually doesn't reach and the pillow isn't attached to anything. This is a very minor issue.

We needed an extra car seat for my mother's car when she has my son and didn't want to spend $400 on another car seat that he may only use a couple times a month. This was really affordable and my 15 month old seems comfy in it. I took away a star because the installation was a NIGHTMARE and very difficult. It is also pretty bulky rear facing so if you have a smaller car like a Corolla and are very tall, you may need a different car seat.

I've purchased 8 My Ride 65 carseats (2 kids, my car, my husbands car and a caregivers car... and 2 replacements due to an accident). We love them. Patterns are nice. They clean fairly well. My only complaint is the difficulty in installing and removing the seats. Sometimes I can't even push the button to loosen the latch strap to remove the seat, which is necessary to clean the padding when someone has an accident. I consider this a minor problem and obviously not enough to make me not like the seats!

I absolutely love this seat, but the buckling system, though similar to our click-connect, is a bit more of a pain to do. When you pull the strap to tighten, it isn't as smooth and when we are getting in and out of the car multiple times in a row, it is kind of obnoxious. Otherwise, an excellent seat that keeps our child rear-facing up to 40 lbs. which you can't do with most seats.

We purchased this seat ultimately as a seat for our second family vehicle. We missed the flexibility of the infant seat being movable between cars. The other seat we have is the Britax Advocate. I'll probably stick to the Britax for longer rides, and we plan to use this one for day to day daycare pick up etc. So far, though, this seat has worked extremely well. Many reviews compare it favorable to much more expensive seats. We have always been Graco fans and this seat is proving no different. We are happy it will keep our child facing backwards for so long, and the seat will grow with him. The only real drawback vis a vis the Britax is a slightly higher chemical content. Is this a big deal? Likely not.

I bought this on an Amazon promotion and just installed it. It seems to be built pretty well but not near the quality of my $300 Chicco seat. However for 1/3 of the price you can't expect the same quality. My biggest issue is getting the seat tight enough. I have literally sat in the seat myself trying to push it down and tightening at the same time and I still can't get it to stop wobbling around. I guess I'll take it to the fire station to see if it's installed ok.

Awesome car seat. I bought it for traveling (lightweight) and as a back up. My only negatives would be 1. I don't think it really goes up to 40" height. My daughter is 36" and the straps are already at her shoulders. Since she faces forward, this seat will not last much longer for us :( 2. The straps do not glide well and they are definitely not long enough - it's really a tight squeeze everytime she gets in/out of the seat. Other than that though I love it. Great price. Easy to install. My daughter loves it too.

We bought this for my mom's car for when she watched our daughter. It's cute and lightweight, and easy to get her in and out. Installing the seat took more time and effort than installing our Britax, but at a fraction of the cost it is easy to overlook that.I wouldn't recommend this for people though who plan to take the seat in and out of their car often.

It is safe, it's just not as strong and heavy as the big luxury car-seats that are simply a luxury. Listen folks, if you think you have to buy a high end car-seat and that is the only thing that will keep your child safe, well then you are letting Big Baby Business take advantage of you. You can buy this cheap sucker that will do it's job, or you can buy a big, fat, heavy, overpriced car seat with padding and luxury meant for the Queen of England. Your choice. :)

The seat is really nice and while some people complain that the ears don't stay put it's because they don't run the tabs to the back of the seat. My only complaint is that shortly after using the seat my daughter started developing a rash on the side of her neck which initially we thought it was due to milk drying there causing the rash. Even making sure that we cleaned her neck after every feeding the rash continued. It was not until we received the seat belt softeners that the rash went away. Wish the seat had come with softeners instead of pawning this issue on the consumer.

The seat is great. My 22 month old loves it. One thing to note, if you have the straps in the highest position, you cannot attach the Mickey shaped pillow. They would both be using the same openings and the pillow would impede the straps. I plan to attach it with Velcro or something similar. I wasn't thrilled with the packaging it arrived in. It was in the box you would get if you purchased in a store, which has pictures and description all the way around the box. It was delivered to my home and left on the front porch in the middle of the day like this. I would have preferred a plain box.

For the price this is a nice car seat. This was purchased for the grandparents vehicle out of town, so it will not be used regularly. I would not purchase this car seat for everyday use. It does not have a recline adjustment for forward facing or rear facing. Basically the base has two different sitting positions, one for forward facing and one for rear facing. The forward facing position sits in an upright position and the rear facing tilted back which is normally ideal though the degree which it is tilted is more for an infant than our 2 year old. With that being said, she did seem to be comfortable in the car seat, especially when sleeping. It does require a lot of backseat room when in the rear position. I cannot speak for the safety if involved in a crash for this car seat though it seems to be very similar in terms of restraint as other like car seats.

Ok for the price, but the fabric is not breathable and my daughter gets hot in it. Also, like other people have said...it does not fit in every vehicle! I have tried so many times and cannot get the seat to fit tightly rear facing in my 2017 pathfinder, but it does fit well in our 2004 sequoia.

It's effective but so very bulky. We had to break down and buy a new one before our kid even reached 2 because it sticks her feet so far out that she has no leg room. It's very wide as well so if you need room for other passengers or carseats this is not the one for you.

It seems like a safe enough carseat for my 1 year old but it is extremely bulky. Hard for my 2 kids to ride in the back comfortably with the carseat in the middle. Other than that, I guess it's OK.

This car seat has been very comfortable for my daughter to grow into, but the car seat itself is very large and takes up a lot of space in the vehicle. I have a crossover Honda CR-V. The car seat will not rear-face without sliding the driver or passenger seat all the way forward. The car seat had to be placed in the center of the backseat for it to fit in our vehicle. I don't think this would be a good car seat for any vehicle smaller than mine. We decided to purchase another model for my husbands Ford Fusion because we didn't think this seat would fit in his car. Now that my daughter is forward facing we don't have a problem positioning it behind the passenger or drivers seat in our Honda CR-V.The car seat also tilts backwards slightly, which was great when our daughter was younger, but now that she's a toddler she struggles to see out the window. We loved this feature at first because my daughter didn't care to look out the window and it was more comfortable for her to doze off in this position, but now that she's older she prefers the car seats that sit more upright.

I have a 2012 Chevy Silverado 4 door and this seat does not fit behind the passenger seat. I'm only 5ft 3in and had my knees agAinst the dash in order for this seat to fit. It's very pretty but it could use some extra cushion on the bottom. I ordered this because I read the reviews of it saving other children's lives and felt that seat would be safe but unfortunately it doesn't fit in my truck :(. I will be sending it back.

We use this car seat rear facing for my 17lb 9 month old. He seems to really like it, I think it is a lot more comfortable for him than his infant seat was. I like that it fits well rear facing in my Dodge Avenger, but it is a bit on the bulky side. The only issue I have with the seat is that it is VERY hard to adjust the harness. I don't know why, but I have a much much harder time adjusting the harness on this seat than I did on his previous car seat. I liked to put him in the infant seat with the harness a bit loose and then tighten it to the correct tightness, but in order to adjust the harness in this seat, it has to be completely unbuckled and taken out of the car which is very inconvenient. Overall I would say, it's ok.

Lightweight but bulky. Crotch buckle isn't easy to open. Head rest is low and uncomfortable for taller kids. Has a strong recline in FF mode. Worth it for the money but not the best car seat on the market.

Used this carseat for more than a year. The only great thing was the cupholders and its lightweight. There was barely any padding so I feel like it was uncomfortable for my toddler.

It's adorable, but there are a few things about it that I don't like. My daughter is 18 months and the minnie head pillow goes over the straps. When I buckle her in I have to push the bottom of the pillow up and try to keep it behind her head. I may try to just saftey pin it up higher and out of the way, but it's not idea. It's difficult to get my daughter in over the high sides. The straps are easy to loosen and tighten. It's not the most padded car seat, so it's probably not incredibly comfortable, but it gets the job done.

This seat is good for the price, and my daughter is in love with the Minnie Mouse design. It's kind of hard to install though, and does take up a good amount of space. I have mine on the passenger side backseat, and anyone sitting shotgun in my Toyota Matrix hatchback won't get too much leg room. It took me a lot to get it in the car to where I felt comfortable about it not sliding all over the place. And the installation instructions are pretty confusing. Also, the Minnie ears don't attach if your child needs the straps on the last two notches. I just safety pinned them on though, and that seemed to work. Lots of room to sit in it though, my daughter seems comfy in it. I do dread having to take it out at some point to install in another car...

I returned the item because I felt like a bad parent as the padding is extremely thing and the chest buckle is very cheap. It's so darn adorable, but if your child needs the harness at the highest length, then you can't use the Minnie Mouse pillow, which is pretty lame. This chair gets very good reviews, but I decided to return it (before even using it) and went with a Britax Click-Tight model.

I was skeptical about ordering a car seat online not having seen it in person before and for good reason. I don't think this car seat offers much comfort for the baby since the padding is very minimal. It feels kind of cheesy but for us it's just our back up car seat. We have an Evenflo Platinum series so naturally you can't really compare the two, but it serves it's purpose for us and the little Mickey ears are a cute feature

While we typically love Graco seats, this particular seat is not our favorite. It tends to rock back and forth when you pull on it, even with the base of it being secured. We watched videos and read the instructions on how to install, yet we still don't really feel super comfortable with how much the top (head area) moves when pulled on. We have the Graco Forever carseat and I definitely prefer it over this model.

Ultimately I purchased the Graco Size4Me65 which I'm very happy with so far. For very little difference in price you get the same safety testing requirements but 100% more comfort for your child.This car seat is too basic. It doesn't even come with shoulder cushions for your baby's neck. The straps will cut into their neck OUCH!! And there are no head/neck support inserts to keep babies head from slumping heavily to one side or the other. Sure you can use a rolled up towel or similar (like I tried) but that gets super annoying very quickly.Its awkwardly too big as well (even in my roomy Lexus 350). I would not recommend this car seat to anyone even if you're on a tight budget - I would suggest saving a little more money and getting one of the nicer Graco models. Good Luck!

This seat is well made, but an absolute COMPLICATED NIGHTMARE to adjust for any child! The directions are poor and the little help stickers found on the seat are in 20 different languages and barely enough to assist in adjusting the seat. Really! Maybe the seat should come with a comprehensive video.

I ordered this to use for my son in my mothers Ford Escape. I should have done my research, and I would have seen that this isn't really a recommended seat because of its size. When I took it out of the box, my mother just laughed at me... if we installed this, and someone was in the seat in front of it, theyd probably have to sit on the dashboard, its so large! Although I didn't like this seat, Amazon gets an A+. It arrived on time from when I ordered it, and when I went to return it, UPS checked it in, and by the time I got home from the UPS store 10 min from my house, Amazon had already refunded me.

This seat is intended for babies and small small small toddlers. My daughter is just over two years old, about 36" tall and she does not fit safely in this seat. The chest straps should come out of the seat back above the shoulders, but at the highest level, they are 2" below her shoulders. Additionally, the carseat did not come with a fastening strap to latch onto the metal clips in my rear seats (you have to loop your car seatbelt through the carseat) which is a less secure method of installation.

My first impression of this seat was good. It looked adorable and my 12 month old seemed comfortable. Now that I've used this for 3 months my opinion of the seat has changed. The seat is somewhat flimsy. I don't know how comfortable the seat will be for her as she grows since the straps are close to the biggest setting. (She's 19lbs rear facing). Lastly I noticed the stitching is coming out on the seat. I wish I spent more money and bought a nicer seat.

Out of the box this cute carseat is ready to go...however, BEWARE that once your child is about a year old the Minnie ears are stuck behind their head/neck rather than above. The picture is misleading bc the ear pillow only goes as high as the top shoulder harness slat and not all the way up as shown. It then needs to be removed all together so only cute for maybe up to first year. We are returning this seat because (1) the chest clip is very hard to operate...click open/closed and is very wide and thin. It also doesn't sit comfortably against my 16mo's chest. (2) There is no added side-impact foam around the top-sides of the seat. The sides of the seat are mearly constructed of thin moveable plastic with the seat-cover over them. We want the peace of mind of a seat that feels a bit more safe for our little one to ride in and grow with.I'm sure this meets all required safety guidelines to be sold in US but we've owned many carseats (as this is baby number 3) and this was the poorest-made seat we've ever purchased. It is going back and we'll pay a little more for a higher quality carseat.

I had this for a few months. Felt too light and flimsy to be safe. Very uncomfortable- no padding at all. Got rid of it and bought another brand.Also, the reason I got it was for the Minnie decal. But the "pillow" doesn't stay up in that position. It falls to the bottom of the chair constantly.

Not pleased with this car seat! It's very hard and won't last as long as they advertise. My 20 month old who is short and only 22lbs was on the highest notch and only had a little more loosening to go before she would outgrow the harness part. The Minnie headrest got in the way of the straps if it was secured through the strap slits. I'm returning this car seat and getting another one of better quality. I was excited about the Minnie design and that was the only thing about this car seat I liked. Just not for us but when reading the reviews before buying this car seat lots of people were pleased with it so maybe it was just me. I prefer more comfort and longer lasting especially since my daughter hates riding in the car. That's why I wanted the Minnie design because she loves Minnie! Amazon was great about the return though!

Was recalled literally 2 days after I purchased. I don't trust a car seat with faulty straps. It's what the whole purpose of the seat is. Won't trust my kids life with a faulty product

This item got recalled and I'm very disappointed. The safety restraints wouldn't have protected my baby in an accident

This seat was impossible to install. The straps were so difficult to tighten and neither my husband or I could pull themtight enough for the seat to be safe. I returned this product.

The seat itself is great. No problems with it fitting in my 2009 Nissan Altima. Daughter is comfortable in it. However the car seat I was sent was produced over two years ago. Really really mad I was sent a car seat with a 6 year lifespan that had 1/3 of the life gone though. Ordered another one from Walmart in a different pattern for less (was only 67.50) and it was only 3 months old. Will never buy a car seat on Amazon again.

Piece of junk. Do not waste your time or money! Absolutely huge. Once you remove infant padding, there's no cush. But most of all, the latch system is a complete joke. You can't pull it tight enough to secure the seat adequately. And every single member of my family tried (and we've all installed many car seats). Even at its tightest, the seat moved all over the place. Not to mention, adjusting the recline with "rolled towels" as the instructions suggest is an absolute joke. How can that even be legal or safe?

Found a break in this car seat, and it's never been in a wreck or anything, makes me wonder is it even safe for my granddaughter, very displeased

It's a cute car seat, but it definitely doesn't fit a child as described. The item description states that a forward facing child can fit up to 40 lbs and 43 inches. We could not even buckle this on my 32 lbs, 40 inch tall daughter and the straps were well below her shoulders. After I received it I checked out some of the negative comments and this seems to be a common theme. This is frustrating as now we have to return the package and my daughter is so upset because she thought she was getting a Minnie Mouse seat; not to mention totally unsafe.

This carseat is horrible. If you bought it for a front facing seat, it might still work for you. However if you want it for a rear facing for your child to grow with DO NOT GET THIS ONE. I didn't even attempt to install it. The angle it sits your child in is a VERY deep V and positioned my daughters legs level with her head.

I have the same issue as most of others here. My girl 40 inch and 32 lb has difficulties to fit into this car seat. Now, we are stuck on whether to jump to booster seat early or to buy another one. I wish I had listened the critical reviews here.

Was really hoping to like this seat. Its so cute! A few things that were deal killers for me and made me send it back. 1. The ears when secured properly would push down in the shoulder straps. Not only was that uncomfortable for my babe but could not have been safe. 2. The angle of this seat when installed forward facing is weird. It doesn't fit right in the angle of the seat and makes it lean back way to far. 3. The buckle between the legs is too short and makes it hard to click in. I pinched my babes legs a couple of times trying to get it secure. Unless she was wearing thin leggings it was way too hard to get her buckled in. 4. The sides of the seat were way too high so when lifting my babe into the seat I would have to lift her so high that she bonk her head on the door frame. She would practically have to lie down flat so I could lift her over the sides of the seat to get her in without bumping.I really wanted to like this seat. Super cute and my daughter loved it but way too many cons to keep

I love the design. The problem is I am on my second one of these because a piece on the back that the top strap hooks up to broke twice. At this point it's not even worth it to return again. If I were to get in a accident it would fly forward because it's not hooked up, the plastic is poorly made!!
