This sits out and we use it daily. LOVELY piece that matches other accent pieces in our newer kitchen remodel. We had some trouble finding this explicit color we needed to match what we were using in this room. This fit the bill and had the look of higher quality we wanted in rustic decor.

I've had this on my wishlist for a while and finally bought it. I don't like the normal stand up napkin holders, so this was great. Nice quality. Looks cute.

Arrived broken, but once reported I received the replacement in probably two days. Great service!The product itself looks really nice on the table or counter - classy but not overdone. It was so nice to find this style rather than a stand-up version. It fits standard every day paper napkins perfectly, and holds a decent amount.I did put very small felt pads on the bottom, which I think is essential to protect a wood table. I believe they are 3/8", dark colored. They protect the table, don't detract from the design, and make it glide easily.

I really love this napkin holder as opposed to the holders that stand your napkins up on their edge because you can just easily grab a handful to refill and plop them in, instead of trying to grab the perfect about for the upright holders and then getting them all to go in neatly, only to discover that you grabbed too many and they either won't fit or get wedged in so tight that when you pull one out you end up pulling all of them out. This design is just so much nicer to me even though it does take up more space on the counter.

This is so nice! I had several black scroll items in my kitchen already and wanted to update my napkin holder to match. This is a big improvement to my vertical holder as the napkins aren't shifting around and looking messy. Plus you can stack the napkins up pretty high if you want to. When you go to get one it is rare if you take too many like with a vertical holder. Thank you!

Had this one for years. Very durable and well made. Not that I drop it or throw it around, but it should be able to withstand regular daily use. Its big enough to perfectly fit the large fancy type napkins like the 'Vanity Fair: Everyday' white napkins which are 6.5 x 6.5 inches in size. You can still put the cheaper quality smaller napkins which will not fit edge to edge so it doesn't look as nice. But really thats up to you. The important part is that it holds the napkins horizontally which is easier to pick them up unlike the vertical holders where you pull one napkin and a whole bunch fall out at the same time. Plus its stylish. Highly recommend.

Looks great and matches my rustic decor. Would prefer a heavy metal bar across the center but this works fine. Would purchase again

We purchased this to hold napkins at our coffee/gelato shop. It sits on top of our gelato case and it not only holds the napkins in well it looks awesome sitting up there! Its cute! Well made and I love it!

It if perfect for my napkins and sits in the middle of the table!

To help with the debate. Napkin bar is metal but hollow. Maybe this causes the confusion. Never had any problem with it holding the napkins down. However, I don't use it outside. Works better than the stand up ones as my kids always pulled them all out with that style.

As advertised. Makes grabbing napkins easier than a traditional napkin holder where pulling 1 pulls all the napkins out cause my wife insists on overfilling them ha. Looks awesome also.

Nice little napkin holder. This is unusual because napkins lay flat, rather on end.The weight stick could be heavier, but for the price, this is a solid deal.

I really like this napkin holder but it's large and doesn't fit regular square napkins the way it should. There is space left on the sides. It would look way better if the napkins fit in perfectly. Now it just looks like I bought the wrong size? But it's ok and made very well so I'll keep it

To be honest.... it's a bit bulky, but I bought it because of the good price. I didn't want to spend a ton of money for a napkin holder. Looks decent on our table (better than the old one anyway) but the swirls are a bit high. Still, it is functional and an improvement on our old one... so overall I like it.

This is a really nice looking, durable napkin holder that will last. Enough said. :) Update - still a nice napkin holder, but it wobbles (I'm guessing it's not square somewhere.) I wound up putting a small rubber piece under one foot.

I chose this rating because the holder I received was all black, yet had a tag on it, which stated it was the bronze finish. I checked with the vendor, and there have been issues regarding the color.This is a very nice napkin holder and it is the one I wanted. Just beware of the color.By the way, Amazon took it back immediately, as they have one of the best and most competent customer service departments for online sites.

I was originally using one of those stand-up napkin holders, which really annoyed me because the napkins were always falling over, especially when they got low. I decided I need a flat holder, so I bought this one. It looks great, just like the picture, and is deep enough to hold a good amount, my only small complaint is the square itself is slightly bigger than the napkins I have purchased (Costco, Walmart) and it drives me a little nuts. Not enough that I need to buy another but I do wish they fit more snugly in there so there was no gap around the edges, I know I'm probably being overly picky but just thought I would point it out. I would most likely buy this again, because the design, color and sturdiness of this is great and will last me a long time!!

Great look, but the bar is very light and does not hold the napkins down as well as if it were a heavy metal.

It looks a little fake in person but I do not think anyone else sees that but me. The middle bar is not very heavy. Not sure what it is made out of but not metal that I can tell. If so, not solid. So a little disappointing. Still, I got compliments on it and I do like it to hold my napkins.

Somewhat too bulky for a napkin holder. I thought the iron bar in the middle was going to be heavier but it is actually hollow. Pretty light.

This is really cute and I love the box. I was a bit disappointed in the weight and why I only gave it 4 stars. The bar looks like metal but it is plastic. Overall it is great and I enjoy it.

The first one we received was broken. It was replaced promptly and I love the style of the napkin holder. It matches well with our wooden furniture and holds so many napkins. I also really like the place holder, as we could take this outside to our picnic table and not have to worry about the wind blowing them away. I am really happy I made this purchase, since we've been without a holder for so long. It meets my needs.

I should have thought this through better. It takes up too much space for my application on a lazy susan on our kitchen table. There was no room for salt/pepper and coaster once this joined the mix. It was a nice weight and the finish was a true black.

A good napkin holder, but one of the ball bottom piece was broken and missing, not even in the box. But it was too late to return because husband didn't realize it was broken and didn't want to bother returning an item that still serves its purpose, with a little tilt....

I love the design and it looks great in my kitchen...only problem is that one of the legs is broken off ...was broken off when I received it. Very disappointing

This item came bent so it does not set on all four feet. It's nice looking and holds the square napkins as expected.

Doesn't fit on the shelf in my pantry. Paper napkins are too small for this but I use it anyway. Do paper napkins come in sizes? It's sitting on my island because it's too large for anywhere else. It's nice, though.

I thought the bar would be heavier...it is very light and doesn't help to keep the napkins in the box.

It's far prettier in the picture. Mine is very dark like an espresso brown. The bar in the middle is so light and poor quality. I had mine outside for a patio picnic and the wind easily blows the bar around.

Much darker finish than the picture- more dark cherry than the oak I thought it would be. Otherwise it's exactly as expected

The box is fine, just as it appears in the photo. But the bar does look like plastic, and it is very light in weight. When tapped, it is metal, however it is not a metal BAR as advertised, but rather a very thin metal TUBE with no heft as you would expect from a metal bar.

It looks great but the metal bar is light weight and very cheap! We are going to replace the bar with something more substantial.We had to wipe it down because it had a white coating on it. IT DOES NOT HOLD DINNER NAPKINS!!We have 5x5 napkins and they fit snuggly.

I was surprised when I took the box out of the shipping material to see how light in weight this was. The rod is a little flimsy and over all, I am a little disappointed. It does fit my casual dinner napkins and doesn't take up too much space at the breakfast bar, but it definitely is not what I was hoping for. It is very hard to find a napkin holder that lets the napkins lie flat so I was excited to find this. Oh well, I will keep this but I also will keep looking.

After 5 months the ball came off, we still use it.

I received a few items in the same order, including this napkin holder. It is missing a foot. There was no packing slip or information on how to return the item.

I was disappointed to see two sides broken off in the packaging. I will glue them on myself rather than bother returning it.

Does not fit diner napkins

I rarely return anything to Amazon but this I just could not keep. it is much much much darker than pictured and the metal looking accents and bar are plastic, and very lightweight, like the plastic from cheap party favors. the quality looks far superior in the picture than in your hand, I expected more value for this price.

This looks like it is much sturdier or heavier in its picture. I agree that the bar is probably some sort of plastic - it's very hard to believe it is made out of metal. It fools you from far away, but since you need to actually pull a napkin out of it up close, you are then made aware of its lesser quality.

It's was a lot lighter in weight than I had imagined but I was going to keep it anyway because I like the look of it. The first one came with a chip in the wood so I ordered a replacement the replacement came with a big chip in it so I've given up and I'm sending them back.

Super cheap but does hold my napkins. Sloppily made, very cheesy cheap materials. Stain and paint blobs dried in drips on it. Chips in edges of box. Too bad, it looked like it had good potential from the pictures. But if your looking for something nice, keep looking. Not worth sending back but I do not expect it to last long.

Perhaps I didn't read the description carefully enough but I thought the Bar across the napkins would be made of metal and of a weight that will hold down napkins. The size is perfect and I love the character of the box. I have it in my cupboard where I can reach it anytime and I love it.

broke as soon as I took it out of the box

Just received this package five minutes ago to discover it's already broken. One of the balls on the bottom fell off and was loose in the box upon opening.

it did not sit level on the table. I tried to manipulate it to make it level to no avail. I have sent it back to Amazon for a replacement. Poor workmanship? We hope that the replacement holder will be "normal." We shall see...(We just received the replacement. It has the same issue: It does not sit level on any flat surface. Amazon won't let us return and replace it with another brand! Beware that Amazon is not always as accommodating as they claim!)

This IS CHEAPLY MADE. Not worth the money. There were screw holes where they mis marked the metal corner hindge. There was a Chuck of wood missing. The bottom has a glued on piece if wood that is breaking off.

web description says it is made of wood and metal. what i received was not wood or metal. cheap composite material and plastic! Nothing rustic about it.

Suites the purpose but much darker than in picture and cheaply made. Can see yellow of wood under stain/paint. Definitely not s it appears in picture.

odor is over whelming and not disclosed in ad.One review said the odor goes away with washing. That is also incorrect.Not worth the cost.

First of all when I received this product, it was so dusty like it set on the shelf. When I tried to wipe with damp cloth, the dye or paint came off onto the cloth. I would not recommend this product.
