I always love the look of construction boots and I can't find them in the stores anymore. These were a great deal for the $18. Just get your normal size and you still have room for a thick sock. They are a nice PU material making them water resistant. Perfect for fall!

I wear a size 9 in sneakers/boots, sometimes if the shoe is cut small I need a 9 1/2. So I ordered a 9 and these boots are not small at all, they have enough extra room for if you need to wear a couple pairs of socks. I was really surprised - I'm so used to having to break in shoes and boots but these are out of the box comfy. I wanted a cheap pair of boots for a weekend of hiking, but these look and feel great so I plan on wearing them off and on this winter.

I love these boots. I have worn them hiking for several miles. I have worn them to casual parties. I have worn them shopping. All appropriate.Please keep in mind that they do run very large. The last time I saw a product "ran large" I ordered a 1/2 size down, but regretted it because I have wide feet. These boots, though, really do run LARGE. Even if you have wide feet, you should probably order a 1/2 down. And if you don't have wide feet, you might even want to order a full size down. Being the lazy person I am, I kept them even though they're still a little big--they're fine if I wear thick socks and tighten the laces.And speaking of the laces: I have had these shoes for 2 months and the laces are already showing signs that they won't last much longer. Still, for the price, I am not complaining. It is rare to get shoes that I love this much for such a bargain.

I had to trade a full size up for real socks inside.I have been a medium width yhru thick + thin.I was sure I picked the right size. But no.These are well made, dont leak..repeat? THAT is BIG.Look like leather. Would dare to want thicker soles.But soles are with good traction and flex nicely. Toe box is hardish but not steel, not for $30.Worth the cost.

I was worried about the different posts I read saying the boots fit too small or (most often) too large before ordering. I figured with such ambiguity that I would just play it safe and order my normal size. The description says "runs large" and I suppose for me I could have maybe gone a half size down, but I know I would have been uncomfortable by the middle of the day.They fit my foot just as expected. I suppose I may have a normal to wide set foot? But it's not anything that forces me to buy wide set shoes normally, so I'm just playing devil's advocate at this point. I prefer to have at least a 1/4 inch distance from the inch of my toe to the end of my shoe and this boot fit the bill. I'm satisfied with my purchase! Can't wait to break them in!

I was reading the reviews and all of them were saying they were too small and I was worried but when I got them I was very happily surprised that they fit PERFECTLY! They are very comfortable. I just wish they could've been to the ankle but its about 4-5 inches above my ankle. anyway I love the material and ive been searching for these for 6 months for a reasonable price, all the ones I found were $100-$700, which is ridiculous! Cant believe I found some that were 30 bucks! The packaging was very cheap and the box completely fell apart! But you get way more than expected for what you pay for.. LOVE THEM!

Just get your normal size and you will still have room to wear a thicker sock. They are just what I expected. They look heavy but they're not. Even if they don't last more than one season, who cares! They're not leather but neither are the expensive brands always. They get the job done and obviously you're not going to use them in the heavy rain or wet snow. Neither would you use Timberlands. This is a great value and you get free shipping and free returns. Just place order with fulfilled by Amazon or sold by Amazon.

I've gotten these shoes twice so far because I LOVE them. They are comfortable, they stay relatively warm and dry in the winter (especially after applying some weatherproof spray). I wore them for a whole year, and they only got ruined after working at an aquarium for months and getting them soaked with water and cleaning chemicals. I'm so happy Amazon saves past orders so I can go back and find these beauties every time I need a new pair.Good quality and good price!

These are really cute, comfortable, and basic boots, which is exactly what I wanted. They look great with anything without looking too clunky. Jeans? Check! Shorts? Check! Dress/skirt and leggings? Check! Personally, I did not find them big enough to size down like other reviewers have (I ordered a 9 and they fit as I expected a 9 to fit), so your mileage may vary.

I love these. I have been using these as work boots for the past 2-3 years. They do run a bit on the large side but if you calculate that you should be ok. I do have to add an extra insole but that's because I'm using them as work boots. The grommets could be fastened a little better as I do tend to have issues with them falling off but again I'm using them in extreme conditions. These are comfortable and easy to break in. I love the extra ankle support and sturdiness of the sole.

I have been looking for a good work boot. I was skeptical about buying online without being able to try them on. But I went ahead and took the chance. They arrived on time and packaged well. I was worried how comfortable my feet would be since I have what my husband calls baby feet. Let me tell you I wear them everyday to work on a construction site and not once have they made my feet hurt. I was also worried about them falling apart easily since they are very inexpensive. Well, they have held up pretty well! The tops have scratched up some but that was expected. I'm very pleased with this purchase and will by buying from this company again. Also I wear a size 81/2 sometimes a 9 depending on the brand. So I ordered a 81/2 and they fit perfect!

I wear these every day! I ordered the black pair a few months back and they were pretty big. I ordered these a half size down and they're perfect! Especially for how inexpensive they are.

These are the best women's shoes I have had in a while! Usually I go through a pair of shoes every 3 months and result to mens boots because I walk so much, but I have had these since November and they are still water resistant. Only reason for the 4 star rating us because they definitely need some insoles. When I received the product the inside was flat with no cushion at all. Will buyou again!

These worked well for what i got them for. i ordered a size up to make sure i could wear hiking socks with them and they but they were still a little tight. after wearing them around the house a to school some i was able to stretch them out enough. i wore them to work outside for a month long trip.they got pretty worn out a wrinkled looking by the end of the month but i put a lot of strain on them for that month and it was in over a hundred degree weather. if you are just wearing them in normal conditions are just as casual boots they would last a lot longer.

They don't look expensive or like a name brand, but they are what I expected for the price. They fit well. They are stiff, but I was able to wear them all day comfortably. However, I don't think I would wear them hiking (I'd get a better quality shoe for that). I ordered these for casual wear and to wear when I'm doing projects/work/activities during which I don't want to mess up my nicer shoes. They are the look and style I wanted and fit my need for them.

I read many reviews before purchasing and am glad I did, as it was often noted that they run a bit large, and they do. My shoe size is 8-8.5, with my best pair of hiking boots being an 8 and my other casual boots and sneakers an 8.5, so I went with an 8. (I probably could've squeezed into a 7.5 if I had narrower feet.) But the 8's fit well; not tight or huge, and just enough extra toe room for thin or thick socks.Only wore them once, so I'm not sure how waterproof or durable they will be, but they are actually pretty comfy! I wouldn't wear them hiking, though, unless I absolutely had to. They could probably take the beating, but I bought them only for casual wear. The material is also some type of plastic, not sure how to explain it other than that. So don't expect faux leather or that sort. They're also a bit darker than the photos. I bought "tan", expecting a slightly darker color than "camel", but it's more like a carmel. But for the price, I may actually end up buying a pair in camel, too.Overall, I am happy with them! And they shipped fast. I buy shoes to last, but even if I get 1 year out of them, it'll be more than worth it.

I took the advice of other reviewers and sized up, but I think they would still be a little big at my usual size. Undeterred, I used thick socks and trekked around Iceland with them. Cold, water, and extensive walking they kept my feet dry and warm with a sure grip with each step. I would suggest an insole as my arches are medium to high but they were comfortable other than that.If I were to do it again, I would get my regular size

These were my best friends during work. I am a technician, always on my feet in a lot of different environments. They lasted just under a year before the soles fell apart so bad that i had to retire them. I abused those boots, and they held on as long as they could. Would buy again if they were a bit cheaper for their lifespan.

Didn't hate them, but they were slightly bigger for sure. I'm a size 9 1/2, and I ordered the size 9. They were still slightly too big for me. I gifted them to someone who wears a size 10, they loved them.

These boots are great for the price! They kept my feet warm and dry during a field trip to Yellowstone during the winter. They were comfortable hiking around all day. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because they scratched on the toe really easily. Other than that they were perfect. They work great for a hiking boot or a stylish fall boot. Great price for the quality!

This are great for the price. I have worn them around town for a few hours at a time and they were perfectly comfortable. And roomy enough for thick socks, without being slippy on my heal. I wore them on a trip to Chicago and we were doing a TON of walking. That is when the lack of padding in the bottom of the shoe become an issue. My feet were very sore by the second day. I bought gel cushions and that helped a lot. Overall, they are cheap, cute, and reasonably comfortable. Great for regular use, but probably not a great choice if you are walking lot more than usual.

EDIT: When I bought these boots they were advertised/titled as hiking boots. Looks like they changed the title to combat boots.Just got these today, for a $25 hiking boot they look promising! They have some minor defects but nothing structurally wrong.PROS:- Really like the style, cute for a hiking boot. I would wear these on a normal day.-The 'packed collar' of the shoe makes it even more comfortable! The back of the ankle has a little bit of padding, which feels great on the ankle.- Bottoms have a nice grip on them.- Fits comfortably. I'm always a size 7 but I ordered a half-size down like the description says. They still are a tiny bit loose with thin socks, but not enough that I'd need another size down I think. With thick socks they fit like a glove.- Really cheap for hiking bootsCONS:-There's some minor defects... kinda expected with a $25 boot. I've marked some of them in one of the attached photos. Loose threads don't bug me at all, but the only concern I have is that the 'chipped' fabric might be a sign the fabric is not strong and may chip more when exposed to twigs and rocks. Will update if this happens.-Not much in terms of arch support. There's a little bit, but barely. Nothing a show insert can't fix though.I've recently been hiking for about 4 hours each weekend, so I will update this review after a few hikes.UPDATE: 7/29/15So I've done some intense hiking in these boots, sometimes taking on small 90 degree rock cliffs. The brown 'coating' did get scratched easily, with the scratches being the same white as the chipped areas. On the plus side, the damage was purely cosmetic, none of the scratches broke completely through the boot, which is impressive since I'm clumsy and end up full force kicking/tripping over rocks a lot. I see these lasting for a year tops with me hiking every weekend. The last negative is that I got minor blisters, but wearing thicker socks fixed this.If you are on an extreme budget or do more casual hikes these are for you. These are definitely better than no hiking boots at all. I did end up finding high quality montrail hiking boots at goodwill for cheap, and can now say that if you have the money to spend on high quality hiking boots the price tag is worth it, they are more comfortable, less likely to blister, and wont really scratch. The material is a lot more flexible too. I'm still leaving the 4 star review for the Forever Broadway-5 because of the quality for price. Hope this is helpful!

I am a senior environmental science student and purchased these boots with the intent to wear them to school and occasionally wear them hiking or in the field. I was duped by the word "waterproof" in the item title and I will tell you: they are not. Being that the boots were only about $30 I should have known, but I guess I was hopeful.The first day I got them, I wore them on a hike in zero degree weather and I will say they kept my feet warm for the first hour and prevented me from slipping on ice. These boots require no break in time to be comfortable, which is nice. However, the next day, my area received less than a fourth inch of snow so I wore my boots and water came in through the seams. So now I do not see any chance of wearing them in the field for school if they can't even hold up to that little bit of snow.Also, these boots are extremely squeaky. Like if you've ever seen that sponge bob episode with the squeaky boots-- that squeaky.The boots are cute and edgy looking, but I will say besides being comfortable, that is their only benefit.

Boots fit well and they are very comfortable. They hold up the my abuse well. Motorcycle riding, tree planting, digging, and general fun stuff. They clean up well too. I love the thick sole.Update: I bought these in February. Now, in November, I have to revise my initial review. In one fell swoop, almost the entire sole of one of these boots peeled away. It ripped a slit down the middle of the bottom as well when it came away, so glue will not fix it. While they were comfy and good while they lasted, they really don't have the staying power I'd hoped. I think I'm finally going to break down and get some Redwings.

Looked cute on and definitely cheap looking once I took them off. Did not wear well. Material creased and cracked. Plus they squeak all the time. And the fit, can't quite decide. They do run big, but the overall comfort ?? Stiff to walk in and no cushion for your feet plus the fit of the boot is just weird feeling. These are a great alternative to Timberland in terms of cost. Gave them 3 stars because there is no arch support or comfortable footbed. I had to purchase insoles with arches and padding so my feet would not cramp. Even though I saved over $70 I would not recommend these for daily wear if you have flat feet or high arches.

Pros: StylishCons: not very comfortable and very thinI bought these boots for a Halloween costume. I figured they wouldn’t be anything like heavy duty work boots but I did figure that would be somewhat stronger. The material for the boots was the correct color, but the actual material was thin and flimsy. They are not anything that you can wear to go outside in the yard or hiking. The boots were a bit too narrow for me and ran a bit small. They are definitely for fashion purposes only. The shoes were a bit narrower than they should have been and ran a bit small. They had no arch support, but a flat bottom instead. They were not very comfortable to wear. The zipper on the top worked and you could put something small in it such as a key. When you tied the boots up you could really tell how flimsy the boots were. While the boots that was sold to me by the seller were described to an extent, I do not feel that the description was described well enough. I feel that it should mention that the boots are meant for fashion purposes only and not rugged outdoor use. This would have helped me a lot in the decision to purchase the boots. If you are looking for fashionable boots than by all means purchase them, but buyer beware of what you are purchasing. I would not recommend these boots to others depending on what they are looking for in a pair of boots.

I'd like to acknowledge that these boots were a great price, so I don't feel like I've wasted my money. Not sure how warm they are because it hasn't gotten very cold here yet. I'll be moving farther north soon, though, so I wanted warm boots. I bought these SPECIFICALLY because they have the word "lined" in the title. (I'd just borrowed a relative's sherpa-lined Crocs that day and my feet were in love. I spent the next two days looking for plush-lined boots for myself.) These don't seem to be lined with anything in particular. The walls are thin with a vaguely foamy mesh screen thing on the inside, yet they are stiff and insanely creaky when I walk. Now that they are a bit creased/scuffed from when I wore them yesterday, I worry that I can't return them, but I wish I could so that I could spend that money on boots that have an actual lining.

They came damaged with missing pieces. It sucks because they are cute but I guess cheaply made. Ordered them on Monday & got them on Wednesday because I actually needed them to pull off a costume at work on Thursday. Smh disappointed!

These fit well and were comfortable. They don't hold up well for real work though. I knew they weren't waterproof but the glue gave way and they have big holes in the sides where the material meets the sole. I don't stand in water but I do use water when I work and they just couldn't stand up to it. They did clean up real well though, even with concrete. They were nice for three months.

Everybody said they run large so order a half size smaller. Well, I did and they are about a half size too small. I would just order the size you would normally wear.These boots look very cheaply made and don't look like they will last long. Explains why they were inexpensive. They are lightweight, so that is good.

They're comfortable, but they scuffed on the top of the shoes within days of wearing them and there's no way to get rid of the markings.

Good fit except the heel slips and rubs, not good will cause blisters.The materials are rather cheep.I thought I ordered the insolated pair for winter But I received reglar faux leather pair no insolation.

Functionality is great. Waterproof, fits true to size, good grip.However, quickly developed a crease on both sides that cause blisters with prolonged use - which is the reason I bought them (for work at a zoo).The backing on the little tags to help slip the shoes on also came off wothin the first week.For short duration of use they are alright but you need to eirher wrap your ankles or wear very thick socks, in which case these barely fit.

I love these boots but after only 6 months they are coming apart...thought they would last longer.

I'm upset at how poorly these shoes fit. They are basically unwearable without purchasing some form of padding or boot liner, which negates the savings on the price. It is like wearing boats on your feet that dig in at the ankle.

These boots came as pictured, on time, with no visible defects. I have only worn them once, so I cannot attest to their durability. I can say that I would not have purchased them if they were available at their current price. I got a deal considering what I did pay. They do run quite large, even with thick socks but I am of the opinion this makes them far more comfortable, as the stiff synthetic materials used would make this boot uncomfortable. I laced them up fairly tight. If you want a snug fit and comfort, these probably would not be a good choice. A half size lower probably would have been okay for my purposes. I got them to walk my dog during the cooler months, I have a super high energy breed that can go all day and I walk atleast 2 hours a day, in the city. The tread looks great, so I think it will weather the rain and light snow fairly well. I wouldn't wear them on a Winter hike in the woods, I can tell they wouldn't be water proof enough for this. In a dry climate/ summer, desert, I might give them a try. The top of the boot is comfortable with ample padding and didn't cause any pain in the ankle area. I did put an insert in right away because there is very little arch support and the interior is stiff. With an insert, walking around, they are fairly comfortable. These boots are great if you're on a budget and get a good deal. If you have large feet ( I do), forgo the skinny jeans. A boot cut pair of pants hides the boat effect, they're not the worst I've encountered. For functionality and price, I give them a 5. When it comes to style/ fashion, definitely a three, thus the 4 stars.Quick update, there wasn't a faux fur wool lining, so I'm not really sure what happened there. I think they're trying to describe a faux wool lining. This is somewhat misleading. So, don't expect a sherpa-like fuzzy inner linining. I didn't really care about that but I'm sure there are others who might.Update,After two walks and running around town, it became apparent that even with arch supports these boots were awful for more than anything other than a trip back and forth from a vehicle. The squeaking became abnoxous and I ended up purchasing another pair of boots for only a few dollars more, that are perfect. I think these are actually rather overpriced. Don't buy these, there are other boots in this price range of far superior quality. Also they are not at all waterproof, it was only sprinkling out and my socks got wet! I'm being generous here, giving them a two, they worked while I waited for a new pair.

Recieved the product and they fit perfectly and were super cute. But a lace hook was missing on one shoe so i can't even lace them up all the way, so now i won't have boots to wear on my vacation this week. Will be returning but now my size is sold out so unfortunately i cannot re-buy them.

Came on time. I ordered by the size chart but the shoes are too big, should've ordered a size smaller. The lace got caught on the hook and tore it right off. Not very secure or sturdy but they are cheap boots.

As expected for a $25 boot, its ok, but it scuffs really easily and shows any dirt u get on it, I have only worn them a few days but i can already tell these are not made to go hiking or being outside in the weather, or they wont last. I guess u get what u pay for though.

Bought these boots in November and this is what happened....The heel peeled off (Only fix I can think of is using some super glue, but I expected my shoes would have lasted longer), the metal divets on the shoelace hole constantly popped out and ended up scratching my ankle. The boots are iffy for being comfortable and don't know if people would be able to even use these for a long hike. Laces didn't last long either. The style was nice just wished the quality was better. Note that it was originally at 79.99 and on sale now for $25.00 I would have been angry if I had paid full price for these shoes.

These boots are not for comfort. They have no cushion in the bottom, it feels like your walking on cardboard. Not a comfy boot at all. I returned them. Size not correct. Definitely get what you pay for on this item. Do not recommend purchasing these boots for wearing out in the weather or for long walks.

Not quite the quality I was expecting. They have a very plastic feel to them. The surface of the toes of these boots have completely won away. Within one month of owning them.

I purchased these hiking boots because I was going on a 3 week long back pacing trip through South America. I wanted stylish but still comfortable shoes, and for the first week and a half they did their job and I loved them. However, during the last half of the trip, the soles inside the shoe quickly wore away, and I could feel the rubber sole underneath. This was extremely uncomfortable, painful, and really got in the way of my 10 mile hike and climb up a mountain during the last few days of my trip. Luckily, I had also bought gel arch support inserts, but that only helped a little bit.If you are looking for hiking boots, but don't actually intent to do major hiking, I would say these are the boots for you. However, if you're really going to be doing major hiking, such as I had, then I would suggest you look elsewhere.I threw these boots away when I got home. Not worth the money, since they only lasted me a week and a half before the inside sole wore away.

If I could give this zero stars I would. These boots fell apart in about a month; don't waste your money.

I would not recommend these at all. I expected them to last a bit longer than two months. They held up fine until I got them wet by stepping in a puddle, and then the soles fell completely off, taking the bottom of the shoe with them! I am sure they would be fine if they were only worn in dry weather, but that is not what I wanted them for. If they can not stand up to a bit of water and rain, they are not very useful. Next time, I will look for a higher quality boot. Bottom line: They looked cute for the time I had them, but did not last well at all!

Shoe box was thrown in a bag and totally ruined by the time it got to me. Shoe itself is made out of poor material and squeaks obnoxiously when you move around. Really uncomfortable. :(

My daughter use them 2 times and the shoe just came apart. It is just glue the bottom part so it can't hold. Nice boots but the part is really low-quality.

I was shocked how different they look in real life. They are faux-suede or something like that so they pick up dust quickly & scratch easily. The worst part is how uncomfortable they are! I wore them today for the first time at work & my feet are killing me! Super disappointed 😔

After about a month and maybe 3 wears, the metal hook that holds the laces broke. I was not even lacing them tight. What a waste of money! The return window just closed or I would send them back.

Wasn't happy with these at all. It's the material that really makes me dislike these boots. They also hurt my toes but I think that was because I ordered a half size down after reading reviews saying to order a half size down. I broke them in for a couple days at home then wore them to work for the first time. I don't work in extreme conditions by any means, I work in retail, but I did want a pair of sturdy work boots since I'm on my feet a lot and do a lot of walking. By the time I got to work today the boots were extremely scuffed up. All I did was take the bus to work. I really don't like that kind of material. Printed out the return label as soon as I got home.
