Not bad
Superb!
February 18, 2017
I know what you are thinking. How good can a $80 spotting scope be any good? Same thing I thought! I would have never ordered if I hadn't already looked thru one. I was looking for a $3-400 spotting scope at my local sporting goods stores to take a a western deer hunt. I saw this one. I looked thru the Leopold and Nikon and this. The Sight mark was just as clear and way lighter for a quarter of the cost. $120. I decided to go home and look up reviews on the internet before I purchased. I was happy with the reviews I found. Not all great but 90% were. I also found it for $80. I ordered it immediately. I have used it around my home area and I love it. I am sure it doesn't compare to $1000 scopes but I feel for what I am going to be using it for it is going to work out great. I would highly recommend!
Nice inexpensive scope.
December 18, 2016
Really great scope for not a lot of money. Comes with two cases to choose from, tripod, window mount, and cleaning cloth. I use this for target shooting, bird watching, and anything else that I need a closer look at.
Cost effective unit
February 8, 2016
One of the nicest total packages I have seen. The clarity is quite good for the low end cost spotting scope. Add all the features that accompanied the unit and the quality and price won't disappoint. My step dad very much enjoyed his birthday present
Good scope, hidden parts

works fine, as advertised; accesories were under the bottom padding, i had to contact sightmark support to find them as I didn't even think to look there!
Holds focus and easy to set up

This is a top quality product! Holds focus and easy to set up. Both soft case and hard case are high quality too!

Cool Spotting Scope, Budget Friendly
July 22, 2016
This is an awesome Scope for the money. Images are very clear at all magnifications, even in low light, and scope function is excellent. I would recommend this scope to anybody on a budget.
GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!
July 2, 2016
I WSAS VERY OPTIMISTIC WHEN I ORDERED THIS SCOPE BECAUSE IN THE DESCRIPTION ALL IT LISTED WAS A TRIPOD AND SO I THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE TO BUY A CASE SEPARATELY HOWEVER IT CAME WITH A VERY NICE ALUMINUM HARDCORE AS WELL AS A SOFT CASE. THE FOCUS IS INCREDIBLE I WEAR TRI-FOCALS BUT BECAUSE OF THE FINE HD FOCUS OF THIS SCOPE I CAN REMOVE MY GLASSES.
WELL Worth the Money
September 22, 2015
Scope is clear all the way to 60x. Only thing I don't like is there is no eye piece protection, either for it or my glasses. But, I have to take my glasses off anyhow as glasses will cause the eye focal point to be to far away. Have to get the eye right on there....but the magnification is worth the money. I can use it on my 100m target and see the round hits, beats hell out of the scope I tossed in the trash.
It was packaged extraordainarly well with cloth carrying case and an excellent storage metal case
August 14, 2015
The scope was more than I expected. It was packaged extraordainarly well with cloth carrying case and an excellent storage metal case. The scope comes with a solid tripod and the scope is clear, easy to adjust to the eye and stable. Very satisfied!
Great scope!
August 6, 2015
This is my first scope, so I have nothing to compare to. But, I really like the picture I am seeing. It's very clear to me. Keep in mind that 20x zoom that it beings with is a lot. So, viewing somewhat close objects is not so possible. However, further objects look real close to me. I bought this to adjust my pellet rifle scope, which I have not done, yet.

I'd give it 5 stars if the make was a bit less cheaply made but for the price you can't beat the quality it is.
Actually a very nice optic for the price
October 27, 2015
Actually a very nice optic for the price. I suits my need well; a little hard to achieve a clear focus on highest magnification. The glass is good, but the adjustment knob is very sensitive. Be sure to place it on a non moveable surface or a solid tripod away from any vibrations. I have a 100 yard range and I can see my hits on target clearly.
I use it for 200-300yrd shots and can see my hits just fine.
April 13, 2015
Very short eye relief but tolerable (I can use it with or without my glasses). Tri-pod is adequate but I use a camera tripod as a substitute. Surprised by the quality for the price. I use it for sighting at 200-300 yards and can see my hits just fine. Shipping was quick and everything arrived in working order and I have used it several times and have had no issues.

Better than I thought
December 14, 2016
So i was in the market for a cheap spotting scope and i was expecting an ok product but it turned out to be better than I expected. I havent had any issues with it. I do wish it had finer adjustment options. Overall would buy again. Great starting scope.
Good spotting scope at the range.
June 16, 2016
I use this scope at the range to spot at 50 yards and 100 yards. It is a great help in zeroing in iron sights. It is a good value for the money.
Easy
June 7, 2016
Easy to use, worth the money I paid. Easy to pick out .22 at 200 yards. Can't ask for more. Tripod is a little weak I have a better one so I used that.

It does the job comes with everything - spotting out to 200 yards possibleLower end fittings on the tripod etc but for the price ok and workableThe plastic handle came off the carry case and the unit fell to the ground the second time I picked it up ??? ridiculous.
It looks good for someone without glasses
March 25, 2016
Not too sure yet. It looks good for someone without glasses. They need the type of eyepiece that is used on binoculars for people with glasses. I have to take off my glasses to use this spotting scope.
Sharp enough and bright enough
January 7, 2015
Almost as good as a low-end Leupold, but half of the cost. I have this Tasco and a Leupold Ventana. The Leupold is a bit sharper and brighter, but it costs a lot more. This Tasco works well for me at an indoor range. Sharp enough and bright enough to easily see .22 caliber holes at 25 yards in moderate lighting. We shoot some targets at 50 feet. At this indoor range, 50 feet is between the lights, so the target is not lit very well. The Tasco still works well under these less than ideal conditions.

Doesnt focus enough

Product is good and arrived on time the hard case is handy. Good clarity when viewing unless you are zoomed all the way to level 45 then you are not able to focus enough to have good clarity.

Wish I had younger eyes......
September 8, 2016
Not bad optics, but if you wear glasses you will never get close enough to use them. And of course the higher the magnification the closer you must be. Be prepared to take your glasses off to use this other wise worth the money scope.
OK for what it is

July 15, 2015
The scope is alright. I think the 20X is right on and will do the trick for spotting rounds at 100 yards. All the other power setting above that, I believe, is false advertisement. If you are thinking the 60X will be 3X more powerful than the 20X, don't believe it.

February 23, 2015
Smooth adjustment of zoom and focus. Optics are not suitable for max range at highest zoom, but I am content with the scope for my purpose. (400 yds. at 30x power). I have not compared the optics to any other brand at any price range, so my issues with clarity and perfection in optics may be unreasonable.

Cheap but useless at 200 yards.

Low cost, but, I could barely see .223 holes at 100 yds. Useless at 200 yrds.

Don't do it. Even for this price!!!!!
August 30, 2015
Buy yourself some binoculars with the money you WERE going to spend on his. They'll do a better job. I'd list the problems, but, OK just imagine what you expect in a spotting scope and that would be exactly what you wouldn't get with this. The case is alright though, that why I gave it two stars. I put the sun filter on this thing and could not get a target in focus at 100 yards!!!

RUN don't walk from Sightmark
April 5, 2016
Poor quality even for the money and their customer service is equally bad. I returned mine (at my expense) several times without proper resolution. I could have spent that money on a higher quality scope. Now I have an expensive and unusable scope for my purposes. I probably should have figured the potential for issues since they discontinued the only other scope that they were selling. Buy from another company.

The tripod was broken after 2nd time. The field of view is so small which is almost unusable. very blurry image. can't see the target from 200 yard away clearly
No good
June 24, 2015
Utter cheap garbage. Don't waste your time having to return it. This scope should be at a $35 price point for the quality.
terrible product!
January 7, 2015
Very poor clarity and quality! See more with 3-9 40 scope!:yes really!
Not exactly world class
July 15, 2011
I bought this for target shooting. I could make out the target at 100 yards, but it was pretty dark. The tri-pod that it comes with is terrible. Then there is the matter of the spotting scope itself...It is pretty bad. There is literally no eye relief, you will need to have the lens inside your ocular cavity in order for you to be able to see anything. Once you have your eye in there, it is very dark. I'm going to be returning this spotting scope, I also have a Tasco Varmint scope so I was thinking that the quality would be the same. But I guess not.Oh yeah, the hard case is pretty nice. And it also comes with a fabric bag which is not to bad.
