This is absolutely amazing! I received this package an hour ago while my mother's friend was over, and they came downstairs to see a sad little stegosaurus. My dog seemed pretty scared of it at first, and he cried a little bit while I was putting it on him, but I think it grew on him. Seeing him jumping and waddling around is definitely worth paying $30 for!This costume is very well made and it fits him perfectly. Also, I live in Australia, and I only ordered this about five days ago, so this is definitely the quickest a package has ever arrived for me. I can't wait to take him outside with this costume on!(I will upload photos when I get the chance)

We bought several dinosaur costumes to try on our pet goats. This one is our favorite! It fits and stays on better when they walk. The headpiece stays on good also and doesn't fall off.

This costume is HILARIOUS! We put it on our Corgi, and she hated us for it, but she was the best looking dog at the party. Some tips:- Our dog is a Corgi, and she's about 27 lbs. We found the small was WAY too small for her. Go for at least a medium or a large if this sounds like your dog.- The cap might be a nuisance to a dog with upright ears. Our Corgi did not appreciate the cap. Please note this if you have a dog that will shake off anything on their head. The cap is completely separate from the body costume however.

hilarious costume, really well made, it did not fit my dog properly because he has a huge head so I had to add an extension, he is a 23lb french bulldog, but he still looked amazing, the part that is meant to wrap around his body was too big so we had to wrap around his arms

It was great- my dog won't wear it, but Rubies sent it promptly, well packed and at least we all had a good laugh

I bought this for my 1 year old boxer/lab mix who is fairly small but has a very large barrel chest. I bought the largest size I could and I still had to modify it because it was so tight that he couldn't sit down in it. All in all, it looked great on him, but don't get it for anything bigger than a small/medium lab.

This is a really cute costume. My dog looked pretty silly in it. Unfortunately, it didn't really fit him that great. He's only 25 pounds and I thought for sure it would work, but it didn't. Could only put two of his four legs in it and left the others out so that he could walk comfortable. The headpiece worked fine and looked appropriately ridiculous.

This is the most hilarious pet costume ever! I bought the stegosaurus along with the raptor costume for my two dogs. My biggest gripe is the stegosaurus is a bit difficult to fit certain dogs. I bought a large and I tried it on my 60 lb pitbull who is taller and leaner than my other dog. However, the front legs cut into his armpits so badly that he couldn't really move. So, I tried this on my 50 lb mutt who is shorter and broad shouldered. She was able to move much better in the costume, but the back legs were waaay too long for her if she wasn't standing. Nothin that a little sewing can't fix, but I really didn't want to have to take the time to sew my dog's costume. The headpiece stayed on decently well without having to cut ear holes, but if my pup started running in the costume, the headpiece would roll off her head and hang around her neck. The Velcro also sucks, so I put stronger Velcro on and it held just fine. It would also be nice if the plates on the back stood up straight instead of flopping over constantly. Overall, these imperfections didn't bother me a whole lot because EVERYONE gave me compliments and absolutely loved it! Just look at the photos :)

Great costume. I got a medium for my 26 lb dog and it fit perfectly, though the head part was too big. However, the costume comes with directions on how to cut ear holes, which I haven't tried, but may help to keep the hat snugly on the dogs head. The pattern of the material is great, and it was easy for me to get it on my dog.This costume is endlessly entertaining. It's also pretty padded, so if your dog starts running into things because they're walking like they're drunk in this costume (as my dog did), they're protected from hurting themselves too much!Definitely measure your dog before buying! I got the small, assuming it would fit my dog fine, but it was TINY.

It looked really cute on my dog but it was a bit small. I ordered a medium because my dog weighs 30lbs. Seeing as she is a medium sized dog, I thought it would be perfect. It ran small but the costume overall was good quality. The head would never stay on either (that ran big). So if you have a dog bigger than 20lbs make sure to go with a large.

I have a fat Corgi like the dog displayed in the photo. I ordered the largest size available (medium) and it is too short. I will have to modify it to fit my dog. If the costume came in a larger size it would fit more dogs.

Fit a little too big but my dog will grow into it. The only issue I have is that the tusken raider won't sit straight up. Other than that it's an excellent costume for my dog

The costume was good quality (I have purchased enough over the years to know they're never top notch). It fit my medium sized dog (35 lbs) well, although the horns / tusks tended to fold over and rotate a bit any time he moved his head. Overall it did the trick and got a lot of laughs over Christmas.

Hilarious, but tough to keep upright on the dog. I knew it would be when purchasing it, but it was still worth it. Great photos and laughs.

The only thing not giving this a 5 star is the fact that the rider flops everywhere! I read other reviews that said they had to reinforce him with safety pins. I did that, and now he sits nice and straight. The hat is too small for my dogs head (she's a Lab/Pitt) so I will have to add on some length to the straps to make it work for her. Overall it's a great little costume!

So this was for my 17lb Maine Coon Cat (he's not fat...he's big boned). As others have mentioned it takes quite a few safety pins primarily to secure the rider so he doesn't flop over or fall back/front. You need to secure the riders legs at about the knee to the fabric saddle/blanket underneath and then the saddle to the blanket at points such as the back to make it one unit that would stay connected to each other. The straps were a bit long but my case this wasn't to wear but for a photo op so i tied the straps just so they would hold long enough til he lost his patience with me. I could see attaching this to a pet shirt of some sort after the rider modifications and it would be much more stable.

It was a bit tight around my dogs legs so I had it modified. The problem is, as my dog is a mix, his measurements do not go with the standard sizes of merchandise. I have it three stars because the head part does not fit well around his head, and the valcro was not long enough to adjust the fitting.

This costume is incredibly cute, but my pug was kind of miserable wearing it on Halloween. He refused to move while wearing the headpiece, so we went without. It also doesn't breathe all that well, so he got overly hot and tired while walking the neighborhood. It's well-made, though, and fit him pretty well (he weighs 19 lbs and wore a medium).

A lot cheaper look than the picture and sizing is not accurate runs very small I have a beagle and get a medium and wasn't close to fitting I couldn't even put her back legs in

It seems that the small size is designed solely for a corgi. I bought the small for our friends pug who is small and the body did not fit. we put it on the front legs only. It was still super cute. He was not happy about it, but it made us happy so there you go....

So it fit my dog like a glove but unfortunately the costume padding was too hot after five minutes. It got really warm inside the costume so my dog was panting like crazy after just a few minutes. He was cute wearing it but I had to take it off immediately so he didn't overheat.

How easy this is to fit will depend on your dog. I have a 7 lb miniature poodle and he was too long for the XS but he was swimming in the small. Very cute costume and good quality. The headpiece even comes with instructions for cutting out holes for your dogs ears for a better fit. Wish there were more clear instructions on the listing about choosing the right size, but your best bet is probably just to try a few sizes out to see if it will work for your dog.

Doesn't sit very well on my dog. Had to rig it ourselves to make him sit up.

It's a good thought process but the costume seems to be tailor made for smaller, stockier dogs with larger gut areas. The quality itself is great, much better than I expected, but the tuskan raider rider is a bit too heavy and with the issues I stated above about the need for a stockier dog with a much larger gut area, it just didn't work at all. It's a great piece, just not for everyone.

Wont fit smaller dogs

Head piece was way to small. Had to alter it to work. Guy on the back doesn't sit upright.

I really like the costume but unfortunately the head piece is quite small and the Tusken Raider is much bigger. The Raider part fit well on my golden retriever but head was just not big enough :(. Then tried it on my sisters basenji/pharaoh hound mix and the head was great but the Raider was massive... I just don't know what breed of dog this would fit... would have to have a teeny head and a very large body.

Not made for heavy muscled breeds. It probably fits one type of dog and that is it.

Did not have same appearance as shown in photo. The one in the photo seems to has a shiny snakeskin-like surface with thick foamy plates. The one I received was just a thin non-shiny printed cover with thin plates.

I really should have done more research on youtube. This is a cheap quality product that gets crushed during shipping. The price only reflects the small market the company has. I mean, where else are you going to buy a Dog Halloween Costume?It attached to my English Mastiff okay but the Stegosaurus spikes were folded in retarded ways & couldn't be corrected.The dinosaur 'hat' was not an option. She would never allow anything to cover her ears for longer than 15 seconds.

Medium way too short along back for our 23 lb. corgi; size large was okay along back, but way too large in legs and head.

This costume is adorable! Unfortunately, the body of the costume and the hat part are made for completely different sized animals..... The body perfectly fits my 50lbs golden retriever/greyhound mix, but the hat part was made for a suuuuper tiny dog. Had to try to salvage with extra fabric, scissors, and a lot of sewing trial and error. Do NOT recommend for any dog that falls outside of the small/medium size category.

I was disappointed that our dog was unable to wear the costume this Halloween, because one size definitely does not fit all. Ours is a larger dog (~60 jbs), and the horns hat Velcro under the chin strap was way too short. So, we'll add an extender to it for next year. Otherwise a cute costume!!

It's cute and my son was so excited about putting it on our medium-sized dog, but it won't secure around his neck. The dog in the picture is larger than our dog, so the advertising is incorrect. I can't recommend this.

This Costume would not fit any of my three dogs, of various sizes and they Bantha Rider just tipped over to the side since he is so heavy. Unfortunately, I had to return this costume, despite my love for Star Wars.

Way to small for my 45lb beagle/hound. It was still hilarious to watch her run around and be her normal goofy self for 2 minutes before it slipped off her.

Head piece barely fit and body didn't fit at all. probably won't get any more use out of this than the laugh I got at christmas. The figure on top doesn't stay up either...

Run super small, I gave up returning and exchanging, and looked for a different costume for my 10 pound chuwawa mix.

Sized incorrectly

I bought the largest size offered (large), but it was still too small for my 5 month (30 lb) puppy. Unless you have a really small dog, this is a waste of money.

too big by far

Deceiving! Runs wayyy to large! X small was huge on my dog! Fits my 25 lb pug perfectly (she normally wears a medium) and was HUGE on my chihuahua. Normal XSMALLS should fit chihuahuas, tea cup poodles etc. Very disappointed

Costume looks cute on the picture--and I have a dog of similar size as shown and read the sizing before buying. The head piece was way to small for my aussie while the saddle was way too large. Nothing would hold it in place--excepting telling my dog to stay. He was miserable. Won't buy one of these "rider" type costumes again.

The picture shows a Shetland sheepdog (generally 25lbs) which is roughly the size of my dog. So I bought this with the assumption it would fit. Sadly that was not the case, it was several sizes too big. It fit my friends 130lbs Mastive.

It says one size fits all, and shows a medium sized dog wearing it, but our 59 pound golden doodle was too big for it and the little guy in the saddle would not stay up for anything. It was disappointin because the whole family had Star Wars costumes and our dog was supposed to join us.

Really neat costume idea. However - there is not dog's head that matches the torso that the fit works with. Torso is big enough for a large dog, while cap doesn't even fit our our terrier. Upon closer inspection - look at the photo - the cap is just resting on the dog's head - so there's nothing you can do with this costume other than grab a still photo and photo shop it.

This costume needs a lot of work to make it work. It started falling apart within 15 minutes of putting in on my dog, who is not a real energetic. Would not recommend to anyone. I might take it apart and rebuild for later.

Awful. Purchased for a golden retriever the waist belt was sized appropriately but the head piece was sized for a much smaller dog...with teeny ears to fit thru the teeny ear cutouts. The rider couldn't sit upright because of serious design flaws SAVE YOUR MONEY
