I never thought I'd be one of those people who dressed my dog in Halloween costumes, but she's so cute, and this costume is great! Great quality for the price, easy to put on my dog, and was packaged well!

Very pleased with the fitting & quality of the Pope costume. The medium fits my 17# mutt very well, just need one safety pin to make the neck a little tighter. I've paid a lot more for chintzier dog costumes over the years. He doesn't even seem to mind the hat too much! We can't wait for Halloween this year.

I put this on my dog and posted pictures to Facebook. All of my friends loved this costume.

I bought a medium and it fit my jack russell terrier very well. The head piece was a little big but that's probably because he has a skinny head :)

I ordered a size large for my 45 pound english bulldog and it was perfect. He was so cute! See the pic in the customer image section.

My little Westie won first place at her Halloween party. What fun!! She kept the crowd captive with laughter and wore it well. The hat was a tiny bit big, but stayed on pretty well, but she's a really small Westie. Very happy with it.

My pit bull is about 75lbs and athletically built and this was a tiny bit snug in his shoulders but loose around the middle. It worked fine though and he was super cute!

If you want your pet to look like a complete idiot. It's a must buy.

this was an awesome costume for my dog, who has minor confidence issues. he got to be the big scary dinosaur, and walked around the house like he ran the joint! The XL was perfect for my english bulldog, who is 60lbs, but quite lean. i put a little bit of stuffing in the tail to make it poof out a bit more. the under-belly strap was the perfect size, and also adjustable. he didn't mind the head/hat part being velcroed under his chin. i personally liked that they were 2 separate pieces, however the package comes with instructions on how to make into one piece, and also how to modify head piece if your dog has longer ears.

This costume is so adorable! The hat is a little difficult to make stay on his head and there are no instructions included to help. The elastic looks like it's actually supposed to go under his chin and around his ears, but without directions, I'm not entirely sure that's true. That, and his head is almost too "short" to really make the hat puff out enough. If I pull it down enough to make it stay on his head, it covers his eyes.I will say the stole and the robe were really easy to put on and actually didn't seem to bother him much. The robe opens up entirely, slips on over his paws and Velcros in the back. The stole Velcros on top, which made it really easy.

Thank you to the reviewer who found the sizing chart. I ordered a Large for my Wheaten terrier and it fit perfectly. While this is a fantastic costume and everyone loves the picture of my dog wearing it, it's mainly good for just that - pictures. The stole attaches only at the neck, and since dogs don't have shoulders, you can get it to stay in place for a photo, but if you want your dog to move around in it, that piece falls off.

Little big on size, hat does not stay on but that's to be expected. It not something your pet can strut during Halloween or for a parade. Just didn't have the right fit for my 29 pound guy. I gave 4 stars because it is what it says. All dogs are shaped different in legs, length, height, weight and such. If you are doing it for photos it's great. I did have to pin the back of the costume behind the neck.

It's nice. I have to changed it for a extra small for my puddle toy 5 months old. The cap lost the belt in the second use.

It was a little big around the middle so my 15lb cat kept tripping on the legs but that was easily fixed with a few stitches. He's a pretty chill critter and enjoys the extra attention and doesn't try to get out of the costume unless it's getting stuck on his feet. The hat would have benefited from having ear holes but that's nothing some scissors couldn't fix.

Okay, my 75 pound labrador retriever looked hysterical in the Holy Hound Costume (especially since he wore it to 2 church functions!), but a size large was too small for him. The costume itself was great but the sizing was off.

Love this costume. It fit my dog well and she was the cutest little dinosaur on Halloween. However, no one could tell what she was. Everyone thought she was a dragon and didn't get our Jurassic Park themed costumes. The outfit stayed on her well enough on the body, but the head piece was constantly falling off.

I was very excited to recieve this costume. There was minor disappointment when I opened it and noticed it is not like the picture, which I now know is heavily photoshopped. One big thing to me is how the the costume appears scaly, and the scales seem to glisten in the picture. In actuality, the scales do not shine. And they do not cover the entirety of the costume. Also, the eye and nostril appear to blend in on the picture, but they are just stickers on the headpiece of the costume. Also, I bought a small and the body piece is still somewhat large on my schnauzer shih tzu mix, although the tail doesn't extend long enough for his body.

All in all, it was still a cute buy, my dog will be matching with me in my inflatable t-rex outfit. I just would have preferred if it had shiny scales across the body.

Haven't had a chance to try it on our dog yet, but we thought we could do something a little different and put it on our time turkey, Tyson. Seemed to work OK, even though it was not made for a turkey!

Adorable costume!! The only problems are the velcro sucks and the tail doesn't really stand up. So I improvised and got some binder clips to have it stay together . I got a medium for my 16 lb dog. She's long so I had to get a medium and all I have to do is roll the sleeves. The head portion is separate from the costume so I had to clip that together or it will fall off. She does love to bite the raptor hands. Overall this is a very cute costume

My dog stood absolutely still for a 20 minutes wonder what she did to deserve this indignity. After a little counseling she was about to walk around a little. See my picture.

Very adorable costume, but the legs are so close together that the dog's legs wan't stay in the pants. It is not well made.

I ordered too big size and had to rtn

I order this & it was too big, so I try to return this & order this again for s smaller size. They ran out & can't order another smaller size.

It was way too big. I didn't see a size chart for this product and ordered the small, which fits my dog usually but he kept slipping out of it. I had to alter it to make it work and attach the sash to the gown.

It's a cute costume and I really do like it, but no matter what I do, I cannot get the top to stay on my dogs head.It's also worth noting that because of the way the front is designed, it velcros in the back funny.Still a hoot and I really like it!

The little Pope hat doesn't stay on. The Velcro is wearing off even though my Papillon wore this only a couple of times. Yes, it's a cute outfit, but not great.

COLOR: The color of this costume is NOWHERE near the color in the picture. When it arrived it was more red than brown.

FIT: Overall, this product fit my dog well. I have a Miniature Goldendoodle and at the time he was about 10 pounds. I bought the XS size and it was almost perfect. The only problem was the "sleeves" were a little too long. I rolled them up and the costume still looked great. The straps were placed perfectly on his body and he was still able to relieve himself without having to remove the costume.

DOG REACTION: Finn was NOT a fan of the head/hat part of the costume. He did not mind wearing the body suit. Although at times he tried to chew the arms. After a couple of treats we could keep it on his head for 30 minutes or so.

Overall, this costume was fun for a little while, but definitely wasn't something my dog wanted to wear! If your dog is better with wearing clothes and hats, I say go for it!!

Head/hoodie portion is not attached to the body of the jacket and therefore doesn't stay in place. This does NOT fit a small dog like a Yorkie, it is too big. Overall though, fairly well constructed of lightweight, comfortable, breathable material.

The size Medium was too small for my 15 lbs Shih Tzu but we still used it. The head part of the costume would probably work better for a dog with ears that are thick or that stand up. My dogs ears are little and floppy and didn't hold the hat onto his head very well. I also put the costume on my 10 lbs cat; the body of the costume fit great but the velcro straps that go under his head were too big. I tied it instead and that worked ok. The costume would look better if it also covered the pets chest.
Nonetheless, he looked silly and that was the goal. Happy Halloween!

I ordered for my daughters dog and went by breed sizing on packaging. Mini Dauschand so i ordered a small. Well its too big we tried to fold the legs up but her paws just came right out. The waist was too big and loose and the tail part had no fill so it just flopped around. Not enough time to send back and get a Extra Small in time for Halloween. Disappointed.Gave three stars cause its so cute......see pictures.

Liked the head of this costume ,but it just didn't fit on our goat as well as other dino costumes we tried.

hat wont stay on, cheap and flimsy materials. can't imagine it staying on any dog's head.. cute idea but not a quality item.

Dogs don't sit still and will try and remove it. Not sure where they get the photos from, but few dogs, if any, will wear them. I was impressed that vendor easily refunded my purschase

My husband and I went with a Jurassic Park theme for our Halloween costumes, and we wanted our dog to be a dinosaur! This costume, of course, only needed to last one night... but it didn't quite make it to the end of the party. The arm of his raptor costume ripped off without him bothering with it. THe raptor head, too, would not stay atop his head. The stuffing isn't restricted to a certain portion of the head, so it was pretty flopsy.

This was just needed for one Halloween, but it's still disappointing to spend quite a bit of money on a product that didn't last/wasn't produced well.

The quality of the material was good. And the part that went on my dog's front paws and around her belly fit well (got size medium for a 24 lb dog). That's the only good thing. The tail of the costume doesn't go nearly far enough - barely goes to the top of her tail so she has a tail sticking out of the tail. The hat doesn't stay on (rolls off to the side) and the stuffed arms are a bit smaller than they seem in the image, so its hard to notice they were even there. And the head piece doesn't sit near the collar of the body piece so you see a big gap of fur at the back of the neck. That ruins the look, especially with a light colored dog. Between all that, it's hard to tell what the costume is.

I have a small jack Russel, was told the medium would be too big so I got a small. The small fits but the legs are way too long. It's also two pieces, hat + body I didn't expect this, would prefer if it was one piece and who on earth thinks you're going to get a fluffy dogs tail into the tiny tail pocket. Seriously not worth the money, if I had known of the quality and sizing I wouldn't have paid more than $10 including post for it.

Yes, this embarrassing little doggy costume is "online adorable" and may be worth making your pet look ridiculous when they're tiny for some laughs or maybe for Halloween. I bought a Large, but it certainly didn't fit my German Shepherd AT ALL. I bought this so my toddler can wear her dinosaur costume and our Shepherd can wear hers and they can look all cute as dinosaurs. Wrong. I need a hobby. This large (but tiny) doggy costume is sitting in the garage unused. Best for small dogs. My German Shepherd stands with her dignity in tact. :)

Not as cute on the dog as it is in the photo. Head of animal sort of gets lost under the dyno head. I've seen some adorable animal costumes. This could be bad-ass, but somehow it kinda fails . . . maybe that's because a pug-head isn't as shapely as the head of another breed....

The medium was definitely a small. It fit a 25 lb dog not my 67 lb dog I need to return. Thank God I got a large too.

Cheap, falling apart, velcro came off whole putting it on..looks stupid. Try getting some preschoolers to color a bevy t shirt. f- for firm dungeon quality. Bs, again

the head is not connected to the body so it just kept falling down. my dog was super uncomfortable and it did not fit right at all. the legs are also super long, I had to cut them

The item does NOT look anything like you see in the picture. Runs extremely small - and once on just looks like your pup is wearing hugh hefner's smoker's jacket. The hat is also impossible - and even if you cut holes for the ears - it does not sit flush on the dogs head. The arms and the tail are NOT stuffed - so just expect that fabric to sadly droop and sag. This is the last time I buy a dog costume - you are better off making them your yourself - with human clothes and velcro. What a HUGE RIPOFF!!!!!

Bought this for my large dog. Although she is within the weight and size requirements, this was ridiculously small. Color is more a purplish red and the small costume arms look like a sewing error and not like arms at all. Probably cute on a small dog but on my midsize dog, you could even tell it was supposed to be a dinosaur. You couldn't tell what she was at all.

The costume was too small even though we bought a size that was indicated for a dog larger than the one for which we bought it. One of the claws was literally hanging on by a thread and immediately came off. The description online also did not say that you had to mark and then cut holes into the costume to secure the head part at the ears. We discovered that on an enclosed sheet that came with the costume. We returned the item.
Thankfully there was no problem doing that.

Adorable costume. Unfortunately the seller is terrible to deal with. I ordered the medium sized costume, which despite the description, did not fit my dog AT ALL. I was not too upset, given that dog sizing is highly variable. However, when i tried to return the product, they were not at all cooperative. I confirmed with them that I could exchange an item, as it did not fit the size dog that was described in the product description. After paying $10 (USPS) to mail the product back, they decided that they didn't have the smaller size available. I got a refund for like $6, which does not at all replace the money I spent on this costume.

NOTE: this costume looks like it is all one piece. In reality it is a body piece, and a separate hat. If your dog does not like hats it will not go well for you.
