Brings out the best in your playing
March 23, 2017
This is my second unit. I love the ME25 so much that I wanted to make sure I had a back up. I have no problems creating the settings I want with this multi-effects pedal - whether using an electric or acoustic/electric guitar - or outputting to an amp or PA. I like the fact that the ME25 doesn't muddy my tone - merely enhances what I've got.
Priced right!
March 13, 2017
Great product. It doesn't have the sound quality of a higher price units. But the unit is solid and great to practice with. The shipping was very fast.
Disappointed at first
February 2, 2015
Ordered this thinking it was the ME-70. Disappointed at first, but then i started using it and was a great buy. No analog, but you can still change everything to your liking at plenty of standard effects that are awesome. The loop is great for creating songs. Thanks guys!
The new tecnology is amazing!

I use the boss me-8 for 15 years, now with the boss me-25 i have the same kick ass sound plus some more effects and customisations, also it comes with a beutifull surprise that i don't even expect, this guiar pedal is also an audio interfase that suport digital audio via USB, is really amazing you will not regret, it doesn't come whit a power supply only batteries, buy one separatly.ohh yeaah it also includes the software Sonar LE 8.5

Reasonably Good For What I Needed
April 15, 2017
These work perfect for me. They fit easily in to my 1/4 inputs, unlike others have mentioned. These probably would not do if you need your pedals real close together. But in my case I built my own pedal board, and I like the distance between the pedals. These cables also controlled some of the noise I was getting from my other cables. I generally am not finicky about these type products. I just know real expensive cables don't make a whole lot of difference to me. But I have come across some horrible cheap ones.
Real rubber, not hard plastic.
April 3, 2017
Impulse buy while ordering a pedal: these are the NICEST cables I've seen in a long time! They black rubber coating on them is very soft, they're not hard, cheap plastic.Very good!

Hooks up easilly with my pedals and amp and is pretty cheap. In terms of cables you really do not need any special kind and so this was perfect for me.

Working great!
May 16, 2014
i got two packs of these and all cables work just fine. I don't have any problems with them like some other reviewers had. After reading some of those reviews I was expecting I might have to return a few cables that might not be working and that's why i got a double pack so I would be left with some working ones. But I'm glad that all are fine and I'm already using all 6 of them in my pedal chain. They are nice quiet, look great and feel sturdy enough to last for a while. I will definitely buy more of these once I expand my pedal board again and i highly recommend these.

The price is high but the quality is very good. I use it for Dr. Beat metronome. I had cheap adapter and it lasted about a year. This one has been working very well and the length really making our lives easier. It is very easy to move the metronome pretty much anywhere on the piano.

Only takes up one power outlet and works perfectly
May 17, 2014
Why would anyone want a big fat wall wart power transformer that covers three power strip outlets? The Boss PSA-120S Power Adapter only takes up the space of one power outlet and delivers good clean power to the pedals that conform to its wattage and amperage output specifications. 100% recommended!
Fantastic Three
December 4, 2013
husband was thrilled with the three productsThe only complaint we had was with the UPS delivery person. They tossed the package over a six foot fence... hence ruining the package as a Christmas Gift. I had to give the gift one month before Christmas to assure the Looper was not damaged... I purchased the Boss RC-30 Looper, Cables and the charger.

The pedal is an excellent option for a beginner to medium level guitar player
November 28, 2016
The pedal is an excellent option for a beginner to medium level guitar player. This pedal will help you determine what pedals work for you. I love the pedal allows you to record a loop that can be used to practice. The unit does not come with a power supply.
Should come with AC power supply & instrution Video

Good Overall Guitar Multi Effects Pedal
July 20, 2013
This is a great guitar multi-effects pedal. It is very easy to modify the effects and customize your own sound. It has very good clean and overdrive tones. Like most guitar multi-effects pedal, it sounds the best when it is used with a PA or studio monitor instead of a guitar combo amp. If you want to spend less than one hundred dollars, the Zoom ZG2NU Guitar Multi Effects Pedal would be a good option. With the Boss Me-25 or the Zoom ZG2NU, you would be able to spend more time practicing and playing your guitar.
less tcchnical
May 7, 2013
love it ! Alot less technical then my ME-70. and very reasonable on the price . And the cool new setting boss just came out with called the Harmonist really rocks with the dual guitar sound effect.
Great pedal, not for live gigs
May 17, 2010
This pedal is excellent to have at home or for creating sounds in a studio. Tons of variations and options, effects, etc. You have to keep in mind that unless you prepare settings in advance, it is very difficult to change settings, or add specific effects on the spot live. Other than that it is excellent.

One had some kind of rubbery stuff on it. Lucky I had some cleaner. Other wise it could have gummed up the fuz box plugs I put it on. Other then this minor annoyance they work fine.
They work great
July 5, 2017
Works great with my pedals, definitely don't shove in quite far enough to click-lock, but they shove in far enough to work. You could always trim a little plastic off the casing if you need a firmer connection. They work great, that's the important part.
Bulky but durable - no signal loss
May 21, 2017
I have had these cables on my board for several years now, so that speaks to the durability of them. The only reason they get 4 stars is because they are a little bulky.Yes, there are thinner cables out there but I bought these for the price. There is no signal loss with these and they are very rugged. If you have the space then get them!
Well Made, But......
June 9, 2015
I like the Planet Waves line of cables, a quality product with larger than average connector bodies. The beefy connector is easy to grab and is great for my guitar cables, but..... they don't work well with my pedal board, which has cut-outs in the foam that determine the spacing between the pedals The PW jumpers won't work if the input of one pedal lines up with the output of the pedal next to it, the cable ends are just too bulky for that. I had to use the (lesser quality, but smaller) jumpers that came with the board (a Behringer). They should work great on pedal boards that let you determine the spacing between pedals.
Excellent cable, right angle connectors are just a little big
March 31, 2014
These cables are quiet and work great but the connector plugs are very large and take up too much space on a tight board. On the pro side these cables are 6" from plug to plug not jack to jack so they're LONGER than some other 6" cables.
Bang for your buck
June 7, 2011
I bought a bunch of these when I started building my pedal board. They're very inexpensive, but seemingly quite high quality.Tons of bang for your buck.Seemingly no tone loss, no added noise, and no coloration. The right angle ends are a little big and bulky, they may not do so well on a tight and jam packed board. But for average boards they work great!I gig and record with these. Great product!Only negative check b/c the ends are too bulky.

Stable and Sturdy Power adapter.
April 10, 2015
Good quality adapter. Long and Strong. I like the green light power indicator. Good for gigging and practice room. You can place your Boss pedal anywhere in the room due to the long cable.
That's not bad but still
November 21, 2014
This was to replace the exact same thing. I use it to power my EWI 3000s from Akai. The old one failed on me after 3 years, so I needed a replacement. Only 4 stars because the power supply only lasted 3 years. That's not bad but still.
Does its job well, but costs a lot.
November 18, 2012
I bought this power supply to power my Boss DD-3 pedal. This Power Supply works as intended, but is pricey.I am glad I purchased this, as I needed a power supply to save money on batteries, but I wish that Boss would go cheaper on this one.If you need a power supply for your Boss pedal, play it safe and get the intended power supply. It's more expensive, but you get what you pay for in the end.
This Item Is Fine
November 7, 2009
No technical jargon or mumbo-jumbo needed here. The product I bought works as expected. My only concern is that considering what it is,...it's a bit 'pricey'. I'm not certain but what I could have gone to Radio Shack (now called 'The Shack') and bought an equal to better quality power adaptor for less money that not only meets the requirements of the Boss Bass Chorus pedal but puts out selectable voltages/m-amps so I could use it for other items. One good feature..it has a green and easily visible pilot light. The length of the cord is right around 115" (inches).

Decent pedal for the price
August 29, 2013
This is a pretty basic multi-effects pedal, it's good at replicating a lot of different tones but sounds a little too "processed" in my opinion. I've used it for a few years now through various different amps and guitars and it seems to make them all sound alike regardless of the rig. This is just MY opinion though, I have friends that won't use anything but this but when I bring my guitar over to jam with them I can definitely tell a difference of the tones. If you don't have $500 to blow on a few pedals to get your tone or simply don't like having more than one pedal this thing is pretty handy. The Cakewalk recording software that came with it sucks in MY opinion but like I said, if your trying to get a bunch of different tones and record to your computer on a tight budget I'd get this but if you have a few bucks to spare I'd recommend getting some pedals or possibly even a PODHD500 or the new PODHD500X, still somewhat "processed" tones but a lot more options and better sound quality.
so-so
June 17, 2013
i was excited when it first arrived and immediately put it to use. i was happy with it until one day i decided to run my guitar straight through my amp like i used to. the sound didnt compare. these computerized effects are no comparison to a hand-selected array of pedals meant for a specific purpose.

slip out too easily for some pedals
November 6, 2017
They are working patch cables, but they aren't as snug as some of my other cables. They slip out easily from a few of my pedals. I recommend the low-profile right angle cables. You can get your pedals closer together and they go further into the jacks.
not quite long enough
May 5, 2017
at least for me they are borderline useable as they are not long enough need another 4" on thier standard cause my pedals are almost stackled on top of one another
Good for a beginning pedalboard.
December 2, 2016
I originally bought these before upgrading to some George L cables. These are good for someone just starting out with their pedalboard or someone trying to keep costs down. They stick out quite a bit, so there becomes less room on your board for pedals. They're also not nearly as good as the George L's are for tone, but you get what you pay for.
its not that great.
December 14, 2015
Meh. No clue why they have 5 stars. its not that great.
Would Greatly Benefit Tight Pedalboards by Being Smaller, but Otherwise Perfectly Fine
November 18, 2015
These cables work and seem well built, but after spending some time with them I find that the large heads often get in the way on my rather cramped pedalboard. If pedalboard space is a concern for you, you may want to look at the Hosa patch cables or other more low-profile options. If you've got plenty of room to spare, or it just isn't a concern, these are fine audio cables and reasonably priced.
Good quality but too Bulky
March 16, 2015
These were a good price for 3 cables, and they do seem good quality. The 3 star rating is due to how unnecessarily BULKY the 90 degree plug is. Its impossible to get my pedals snug against one another and tuck the patch cables between due to. I have ended up only using ONE of the three, and trimmed some of the rubber off the end of one so it can bend better, so it can make a tight right angle out from my volume pedal. I don't reccomend this though, as it is obvious I weakened it. I will be buying a kit to make a couple patch cables myself from Lava Cable or George L; pricier but so handy when you have a tight (full) pedal board like I do.

If it is still working in a year then I'll up the rating.
June 16, 2014
It works as it should at the moment. I've tried cheaper ones and they last 6-8 mos. I had a One-Spot and it lasted 12 months but it could not have failed at a worse time. I figure whatever you spend you'll get no more than a year out of them with heavy use. I use mine probably 150 days a year so the price is not high for that amount of usage... If it lasts. I'll update when it blows with a more exact estimate of how long you can expect to use this.
They break eventually, but it works.
December 17, 2013
You have no other option. No one makes a built like a tank power adapter for the RC-300 and other Boss products. This is the one you need. It'll work for a while. Just make sure you have a backup.

It didn't work as well as I had hoped. Not as intuitive to use as i would have liked and to be honest, just a pain to drag out. The effects sound kind of "digital" to me. I was hoping for more. I've had it a bit, but I just don't find myself using it too often. Maybe I will drag it out and it will grow on me some day, but right out of the box I was not that impressed.

Picks up radio waves for me.
September 5, 2014
Nice design, but does not work for me. From my street, I can see a small amount of radio/TV towers. In high gain situations, I could hear broadcasts of some sort in my amp. Bought something with metal housing, removed these from my signal path, and life got better.
One works, two don't.
August 1, 2013
I read the reviews and figured it'd be a good "bargain" to purchase the product. The product came as described, and it came in a timely manner in good packaging. However, after plugging it in to my pedals, one shorted out and refused to work. I tried another one, and it worked fine. I re-tested the first cable, it still didn't work. The third one doesn't even pick up the signal entirely, so I get a weak sound through my amplifier. Like I said, it's worth the bargain price, but you might as well pay a few extra bucks to get a single, top quality cord. Maybe I just got a bad batch. *shrug*

April 2, 2017
So here's the story, I havnt purchased it here yet, BUT I have purchased 2 others before, this thing doesn't hold up on the road I've had the boss ME70 for 5years ish, and the pedal is pretty badass, the power supply not so much, I am a pro musician and don't abuse my equipment, the way the shielding on the cable is made breaks the wires inside, like I said I've bought 2 now, and these suck...I may just look for a volt match and use a different power supply.

The Quality Of These Seems Very Cheap, Product Is Overpriced
January 6, 2014
I ended up returning these the day I received them, due to what looked and felt like poor quality. The actual wire that goes into the power brick feels like it's made out of dental floss. I can't imagine these things holding up under actual use outside of a bedroom or recording studio. After doing some research, I found there are other companies out there making a better power adapter for about half the cost.

Recently purchased a metronome which did not contain a user guide in English. It had one in what I would presume is Chinese. I live in Atlanta, GA, so why would I be interested in purchasing something in the US that has instructions only in Chinese?
Don't throw away your money on this
July 29, 2010
If you move this around at all, don't trust it to power your board. I play about 2 gigs per week and this did not even last me a month. I had an old boss adaptor that crapped out on me, so I got this and was not impressed when it shorted out weeks later. I got a one spot after this and it has been running strong ever since. Go with the one spot and save yourself the trouble. I've always relied on boss for their durable pedals, but their power adaptors are a different story.

Terrible product
May 20, 2017
Like others have indicated, the plugs are not snug with the jack. Also they do not handle any sort of gain, and the shielding is terrible. Any touch or tap of the cord is amplified by the pedals in the chain and heard through the amp.
Failed in less than two months
February 26, 2017
Used for practice at home and church service. Angled plug failed on me today. I took a chance after years of rejecting molded style plugs because they can't be repaired. Junk, I'm back to generic cables that I can at lease resolder:
Poor quality, look elsewhere
December 20, 2016
One is already shorting out after sitting in my basement on my pedal board, s**t quality control, would not recommend for gigging guitarist, would barely recommend for hobby player.
Tips don't clip into standard 1/4" plugs
December 27, 2015
A number of other reviews state that these cables keep popping out of pedals. The reason is that these plugs are not sized right for standard 1/4" mono plugs to the point where the contact does not clip into the tip properly. (See the attached photos. Black cable is Planet Waves, while the other is your average 1/4" patch cable jack.) The molding around the plugs prevents them from pushing in far enough to clip properly. While a cable tester registers these as contacting properly, I don't like the idea of them not clipping into the tip and eventually pushing back the contact to the point where the jack needs to be replaced. They will also pop out just like other users have experienced. Therefore I won't be using these. It's too late to return them so unfortunately I've wasted my money. Hopefully you read this and don't make the same mistake.

These cables are terrible for a pedal board. The ends on them are absolutely huge. I couldn't fit my pedals anywhere near each other if I used these. I dumped these and switched to the Hosa Cables (flat heads), which are awesome.

October 3, 2013
I thought it was my jack for a while, then I noticed it wouldn't stay in any pedal. There is no "click" assuring that the cable is in place... and there's a reason for that, it isn't! Slips right out of every pedal I have. Not reliable.
