Awesome
February 25, 2017
Amazing quality and capacity. Holding up well despite being banged around.
Line 6 Helix Case!
August 25, 2016
I got this for my new helix pedal to protect it while in transport. The helix is an expensive floor switch controller which has every tone I could ever want. I was worried because it had no hard case offered by line 6 ( only a crappy soft side case ). I did some research and found this guy on one of the line 6 user forums. The line 6 helix fits perfectly inside with ZERO modification at all to the foam. Note, you do have to press down a bit to close it the first few times because the egg create foam inside the top of the case needs to break in. I suppose you could even consider cutting the foam slightly to accommodate the buttons but I decided not to. I just took my helix set it right on top of the provided board, and slowly pressed down on the top to get it to latch.Another nice feature, is that you can take the board out, and store your power chord/picks/cables underneath. This is great for people like me who need extra strings and such for a show. You can store your stuff, and use the handle on top and wheels to roll it around. Now one small thing to note, is that this thing is heavy duty metal, and if you are not careful you can cut your fingers opening and closing the latches. I cut my thumb day one opening the case for the first time. Also, your helix is 14 lbs, and the case is about that too.... my point once secured, this will be HEAVY. If you are in a band however, you are likely accustomed to hauling around 40 lb items to and from shows.
Hands down the best board for you money out there
May 18, 2016
I'm shocked at the high quality of the board and case. I've been through several others over the past years. The previous setup I had was nice to tuck the power supply and wiring under the board, but whenever there were issues that needed troubleshooting it was a nightmare. I've now switched to having all my wiring nicely done on top and it's much easier to troubleshoot in an emergency. The board is at a slight angle due to taller feet in the back which is great. The case and latches look and feel of high quality and i love the layout in the case with storage underneath for extra gear. The handles are spring loaded so they don't flop around and they stay tight to the sides of the case. So far this looks like the best bang for the buck out there.
Keeps it organized and easy to move
May 14, 2016
Keeps it organized and easy to move, but wish this one came with the shield from the sun, so I wouldn't get a glair.
SOLID.
July 30, 2015
SOLID board. Good construction. Killer value. Case appears sturdy and the wheels help with mobility. Good for casual musician or pro that needs a board for fly dates. Great value.
Awesome! Well worth the money!
April 28, 2015
The pedal board is a pedal board. It has some heavy duty handles on it to make moving it around easier but it's essentially a board with some kind of veneer on it and metal trimming. It's solid, but nothing special. The provided Velcro adheres to the surface strongly. There are rubber feet on the bottom of the board. The real attraction is the case. It's solid, sturdy, and well made. The latches are solid, the handles are solid, and the wheels are solid. I'm 5 foot 9 so I can roll the case with no issues. If I was any taller I would have to stoop to roll the case. It keeps my pedals protected and dialed in and I'm able to stow all of my cables, extra cables, extra patch cables, and an extra power strip under the board in the case.

Reasonably Good For What I Needed
April 15, 2017
These work perfect for me. They fit easily in to my 1/4 inputs, unlike others have mentioned. These probably would not do if you need your pedals real close together. But in my case I built my own pedal board, and I like the distance between the pedals. These cables also controlled some of the noise I was getting from my other cables. I generally am not finicky about these type products. I just know real expensive cables don't make a whole lot of difference to me. But I have come across some horrible cheap ones.
Real rubber, not hard plastic.
April 3, 2017
Impulse buy while ordering a pedal: these are the NICEST cables I've seen in a long time! They black rubber coating on them is very soft, they're not hard, cheap plastic.Very good!

Hooks up easilly with my pedals and amp and is pretty cheap. In terms of cables you really do not need any special kind and so this was perfect for me.
Nice little set of 3 patch cables
March 13, 2017
Nice little set of 3 patch cables. Really like the 90 degree ends so the pedals can sit closer together.
Make the connection....
December 20, 2016
Does exactly what I need:Connect pedals reliably on my custom pedal board. Will need more...
Working great!
May 16, 2014
i got two packs of these and all cables work just fine. I don't have any problems with them like some other reviewers had. After reading some of those reviews I was expecting I might have to return a few cables that might not be working and that's why i got a double pack so I would be left with some working ones. But I'm glad that all are fine and I'm already using all 6 of them in my pedal chain. They are nice quiet, look great and feel sturdy enough to last for a while. I will definitely buy more of these once I expand my pedal board again and i highly recommend these.

Its a great board and very sturdy
April 26, 2017
Its a great board and very sturdy. My only complaint is I thought the handle extended, so because its short and on wheels it makes it difficult to roll easily and I'm 5°4!
Buy it for the Case, not the Board.
March 16, 2017
I don't care for the pedalboard itself, but I like the case. It seems sturdy enough, and the rollers are a plus. The 24x11 size allows you to use this case with a number of standard pedalboards (I'm using the Temple Audio Duo.) The pedalboard itself doesn't work very well. It buckles easily, doesn't provide for routing of wires underneath, and with little use, one of the feet fell detached. Buy it for the case and ditch the pedalboard.

Solid, but on the verge of over kill.
Bad Horsie 2
April 30, 2015
Very solid pedal board. Wish Amazon sold one just a bit longer because I had ran out of real estate quick since the majority of the pedals I put on this board take up the space that two typical Boss stomp boxes take up. All in all, I was able to get my Ditto2, Pog2, Whammy4, Bad Horsie 2, Voodoo Lab 2, and my Banshee 2 talk box on it. I had to turn the Banshee 2 sideways to get it to fit so its a bit of a reach with my foot to engage it. Other than that, the case is solid and built tough. Good purchase & recommended.
Great board
January 25, 2015
Works great, very sturdy, happy with my purchase. I wish the internal well were a little deeper to more easily fit common peripherals. Also, a built in power source and/or holes to run wires under the board would both be nice.

Look closely before use
September 11, 2017
One had some kind of rubbery stuff on it. Lucky I had some cleaner. Other wise it could have gummed up the fuz box plugs I put it on. Other then this minor annoyance they work fine.
They work great
July 5, 2017
Works great with my pedals, definitely don't shove in quite far enough to click-lock, but they shove in far enough to work. You could always trim a little plastic off the casing if you need a firmer connection. They work great, that's the important part.
Bulky but durable - no signal loss
May 21, 2017
I have had these cables on my board for several years now, so that speaks to the durability of them. The only reason they get 4 stars is because they are a little bulky.Yes, there are thinner cables out there but I bought these for the price. There is no signal loss with these and they are very rugged. If you have the space then get them!
Well Made, But......
June 9, 2015
I like the Planet Waves line of cables, a quality product with larger than average connector bodies. The beefy connector is easy to grab and is great for my guitar cables, but..... they don't work well with my pedal board, which has cut-outs in the foam that determine the spacing between the pedals The PW jumpers won't work if the input of one pedal lines up with the output of the pedal next to it, the cable ends are just too bulky for that. I had to use the (lesser quality, but smaller) jumpers that came with the board (a Behringer). They should work great on pedal boards that let you determine the spacing between pedals.
Excellent cable, right angle connectors are just a little big
March 31, 2014
These cables are quiet and work great but the connector plugs are very large and take up too much space on a tight board. On the pro side these cables are 6" from plug to plug not jack to jack so they're LONGER than some other 6" cables.
Bang for your buck
June 7, 2011
I bought a bunch of these when I started building my pedal board. They're very inexpensive, but seemingly quite high quality.Tons of bang for your buck.Seemingly no tone loss, no added noise, and no coloration. The right angle ends are a little big and bulky, they may not do so well on a tight and jam packed board. But for average boards they work great!I gig and record with these. Great product!Only negative check b/c the ends are too bulky.

Case is acceptably large and heavy but sturdy and would trust it on the road
February 17, 2016
Case is acceptably large and heavy but sturdy and would trust it on the road. The pedalboard itself seems much lower quality and shlepped together. I expected stronger or thicker wood for the board, and the aluminum trim is not flush. The rubber feet appear to be put on with no precision. Also received the board with the paint chipping off of the handles on the pedalboard. Yes it is paint or some kind of coating, not foam or rubber on the handles. Will see how it holds up with my busy gigging schedule. I like the space for accessories. Wouldn't recommend for anyone with a tendency to really stomp their pedals.

slip out too easily for some pedals
November 6, 2017
They are working patch cables, but they aren't as snug as some of my other cables. They slip out easily from a few of my pedals. I recommend the low-profile right angle cables. You can get your pedals closer together and they go further into the jacks.
not quite long enough
May 5, 2017
at least for me they are borderline useable as they are not long enough need another 4" on thier standard cause my pedals are almost stackled on top of one another
Good for a beginning pedalboard.
December 2, 2016
I originally bought these before upgrading to some George L cables. These are good for someone just starting out with their pedalboard or someone trying to keep costs down. They stick out quite a bit, so there becomes less room on your board for pedals. They're also not nearly as good as the George L's are for tone, but you get what you pay for.
its not that great.
December 14, 2015
Meh. No clue why they have 5 stars. its not that great.
Would Greatly Benefit Tight Pedalboards by Being Smaller, but Otherwise Perfectly Fine
November 18, 2015
These cables work and seem well built, but after spending some time with them I find that the large heads often get in the way on my rather cramped pedalboard. If pedalboard space is a concern for you, you may want to look at the Hosa patch cables or other more low-profile options. If you've got plenty of room to spare, or it just isn't a concern, these are fine audio cables and reasonably priced.
Good quality but too Bulky
March 16, 2015
These were a good price for 3 cables, and they do seem good quality. The 3 star rating is due to how unnecessarily BULKY the 90 degree plug is. Its impossible to get my pedals snug against one another and tuck the patch cables between due to. I have ended up only using ONE of the three, and trimmed some of the rubber off the end of one so it can bend better, so it can make a tight right angle out from my volume pedal. I don't reccomend this though, as it is obvious I weakened it. I will be buying a kit to make a couple patch cables myself from Lava Cable or George L; pricier but so handy when you have a tight (full) pedal board like I do.

Cable too bulky, not flexible enough.
October 31, 2015
The cable material used is too thick and therefore not very flexible. Difficult to use but it shouldn't be difficult to manufacture a simple patch cable....!
Look elsewhere for pedalboard needs
September 9, 2015
The heads are too bulky for pedalboard applications and tend to come loose. Have had problems with reliability with these and other planet waves cables, although to their benefit they have replaced defective cables no questions asked.

December 4, 2014
Every Planet Waves cable I've had has become faulty at some point. Some the first week I get them and others after just a few months. Shorting out, noise/feedback, etc. Watch out, you get what you pay for with these!
Picks up radio waves for me.
September 5, 2014
Nice design, but does not work for me. From my street, I can see a small amount of radio/TV towers. In high gain situations, I could hear broadcasts of some sort in my amp. Bought something with metal housing, removed these from my signal path, and life got better.
One works, two don't.
August 1, 2013
I read the reviews and figured it'd be a good "bargain" to purchase the product. The product came as described, and it came in a timely manner in good packaging. However, after plugging it in to my pedals, one shorted out and refused to work. I tried another one, and it worked fine. I re-tested the first cable, it still didn't work. The third one doesn't even pick up the signal entirely, so I get a weak sound through my amplifier. Like I said, it's worth the bargain price, but you might as well pay a few extra bucks to get a single, top quality cord. Maybe I just got a bad batch. *shrug*

Terrible product
May 20, 2017
Like others have indicated, the plugs are not snug with the jack. Also they do not handle any sort of gain, and the shielding is terrible. Any touch or tap of the cord is amplified by the pedals in the chain and heard through the amp.
Failed in less than two months
February 26, 2017
Used for practice at home and church service. Angled plug failed on me today. I took a chance after years of rejecting molded style plugs because they can't be repaired. Junk, I'm back to generic cables that I can at lease resolder:
Poor quality, look elsewhere
December 20, 2016
One is already shorting out after sitting in my basement on my pedal board, s**t quality control, would not recommend for gigging guitarist, would barely recommend for hobby player.
Tips don't clip into standard 1/4" plugs
December 27, 2015
A number of other reviews state that these cables keep popping out of pedals. The reason is that these plugs are not sized right for standard 1/4" mono plugs to the point where the contact does not clip into the tip properly. (See the attached photos. Black cable is Planet Waves, while the other is your average 1/4" patch cable jack.) The molding around the plugs prevents them from pushing in far enough to clip properly. While a cable tester registers these as contacting properly, I don't like the idea of them not clipping into the tip and eventually pushing back the contact to the point where the jack needs to be replaced. They will also pop out just like other users have experienced. Therefore I won't be using these. It's too late to return them so unfortunately I've wasted my money. Hopefully you read this and don't make the same mistake.
These cables are terrible for a pedal board
October 6, 2015
These cables are terrible for a pedal board. The ends on them are absolutely huge. I couldn't fit my pedals anywhere near each other if I used these. I dumped these and switched to the Hosa Cables (flat heads), which are awesome.
Plug slips right out of any jack
October 3, 2013
I thought it was my jack for a while, then I noticed it wouldn't stay in any pedal. There is no "click" assuring that the cable is in place... and there's a reason for that, it isn't! Slips right out of every pedal I have. Not reliable.
