Shower head has easy assembly.
It functions as it should. We mostly use 3 settings.
It is easy to keep clean. Doesn't drop or leak.
It is nice and basic appearance. Not high end looking but does the job.
Nice long hose.

We have purchased from big box stores several shower heads in recent years. All around $100 in price, one was much more. All with the same or similar function to this one. Switches break. Nozzles plug up. Gets grubby looking quickly.

We have had zero breakdowns of this one. I bought it as a stop gap until we could find a more high end one. I stopped looking. This one does what it should quite well. Thank you!

I had wanted to buy a handheld shower head for years, having had one before and remembering how much easier it made cleaning the shower. My husband was very reluctant, citing numerous concerns such as being unable to adjust the angle of the spray - a concern since he's very tall and I'm very not. After my dog and I recently shared several unpleasant bathing experiences, I decided that since I was typically the one at home cleaning the tub and dealing with whatever the dogs manage to roll themselves, he could deal with a little experiment.
I ordered the thing and installed it myself, which was pretty simple. My only complaint was that it only came with 2 washers and I ended up needing 3 (one at the wall, one at the base of the hose, and one for the head). Wasn't a real problem for me, though, because I just took one out of our previous shower head. I will add that though I am handy enough, I am not super mechanically-inclined and had never done this particular task before, so I appreciated how easy it was. I didn't even mention it to my husband until the next day, after he'd used it. Let's just say he grinned to my "I told you so."
It works great, with a choice of several water pressures. I love that I can turn it down to a trickle when rinsing my dog's face then turn it to a spray when hosing down the tub. It's got a water saving filter that you can remove if you want, but we actually find the reduced water pressure more comfortable. You can adjust the angle of the spray very easily, but we no longer even worry much about that because it's now angled high enough that we don't have to adjust it between showers based on our height difference. It's cheap, works great, and we love it!

After a year of using this, I still LOVE it BUT like other reviewers mentioned,
the hose is broken.
I contacted the seller and they offered me a replacement!
I only needed the hose as the shower head is perfectly fine but they sent me whole new shower head with hose!
I contacted on Friday and received a replacement on WEDNESDAY!!

One of the reason I purchased this was because it comes with on/off pause switch.
I live in California and we are having really bad drought and need to save water.
I heard if you turn off the shower while you wash your body/hair, you can save a lot of water.
We have double handle faucet and it is really pain in the butt to turn on/off the shower everytime.
So that was the one of the reason I decided to purchase this and I am so happy!!
So easy to turn on/off and I really do believe that we can save water doing this.
I also like the design and it is really light weight and the price is awesome too!

I wasn't sure when I ordered this as I expected the quality to be poor as it was so inexpensive. I was surprised to find I really like this shower head. It is great for me. Also, it is prefect when I need to wash my dogs in the shower. The water saver button is a great feature as the temperature stays the same when you want to pause the water. Yet, I have to say that it is too hard for my kids to use the pause button as their little fingers can't slide it that easily. Another plus is that this is super easy to install.

This AquaCare replaced a Water-Pik hand shower head that was purchased two years ago. The AquaCare is clearly superior. Biggest difference: it doesn't leak when first turned on, when running, or when just turned off; the Water-Pik consistently leaked just for a few seconds as it was turned off. The cord on the AquaCare is all metal including the connectors, and it hangs loosely with no stress on the positioning of the shower head; the Water-Pik's all plastic cord, (including the connectors), was stiff and required very narrow positioning to keep the head from rotating in the holder. Installation on the AquaCare was easy; everything was supplied including Teflon tape. Even the washers for the hose connectors were attached by a rubber band to the hose so they would not be lost in the packaging. There is a "pause slide switch" on the handle that allows the water flow to be reduced to a trickle, which is helpful if you have dual faucet control on your shower; however, be sure the slide switch is not on "pause" when you hook it up to first test it, or you will think the water flow is puny, and it is very full with the correct setting. The quality on this product clearly stands out, and it is one of my most satisfying purchases.

CUSTOMER SERVICE/SHOWER HEAD EXPERIENCE:
I used this shower head for about 6 months before it eventually built up too much pressure inside the tiny holes and popped while I was showering. (this build up was caused by rust in my pipes) it broke the shower head and I couldn't use it anymore, I called customer service, AND THEY REPLACED IT ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE SEAMLESSLY. With regular cleaning, I think this problem could have been prevented, so make sure you're cleaning it.

NOW FOR MY SHOWER HEAD REVIEW:
The shower head was great for added pressure and you can really tell the difference in quality of water. So much that I started showering without using SHAMPOO ANYMORE. I'm not claiming that you can stop using shampoo because of this shower head, I'm simply saying, with the type of hair I have (fine and not too greasy) you COULD stop using shampoo if you choose to. I consider the cleaner water the reason I can stop using shampoo. This shower head is great, the added pressure, cleaner water, and saving money on shampoo is reason enough to buy.

My overall experience was great and I continue to use this shower head today. GO GET ONE

Our "city water" is filled with chemicals that dry dry dry my skin so much it's a wonder that I get wet at all when I turn on the shower! Add a Maine winter and it's heating needs and I feel as though I'll just dehydrate from the outside in and blow away in the next nor'easter. Of course we need a household filtration system, but this cost is affordable, as a whole house system is not. THIS ACTUALLY WORKS! My husband was the first one in the pool, and he also liked it at first use. Once I got my turn, I too noticed an immediate change in the texture of my skin after the shower. Yes, I still need lotion to moisturize the bod, but less so. I also noticed less static in my hair once dried. I let it air dry after the first shampoo as an experiment, and it worked well. I anticipate success even when I use a blow dryer, but I can not attest to that as I've not done it as of this date. I'm not sure how long this will work; I'm sure it depends on the number of showers taken, but when it no longer works, I'll buy another, especially for the winter.

This showerhead is lightweight and has a strong stream of water. The water stream is very fine with a stronger flow in the middle. It actually feels like silk. If you use it as a handheld showerhead it is especially perfect because it is so lightweight. I assume it is filtering the water - I took it to China with me so I hope so. To the people complaining about the water streaming to the side - all you have to do is clean out the holes with a toothbrush. You may also need to disassemble it and clean from the other side but be careful not to drop all the beads and Aldo to keep track of how to put it back together.

Wowwwww!!!! I live in a tiny San Francisco apartment. My shower routine USED to go like this....
Turn on the water, psych myself up and wait for 6 minutes for shower to get warm. Then reluctantly get in and try to wash my hair and get clean in between spurts of freezing cold/ burning hot crap stream low pressurized shower head. Total time in awful shower = at least 15-20 min, with about 5 minutes of total contact with the water. What a waste. I thought that it was the old plumbing in my apartment.
Now, with this shower head, my shower routine goes like this...
Yes!!! Shower time!!! Turn on water, wait maybe 8 seconds, get in, 5 minutes of blasting, energizing, constant temperature water... squeaky clean (literally), and done.

I don't have "hard" water so I cannot attest to the mineral beads. My skin and hair feel soft, but that might be due to the fact that for the first time in 5 years I'm actually getting all the shampoo out. I can't really comment on the eco-friendly aspect, except for the fact that my showers use be 20 minutes and now they are 3-5 min. Pretty much everything involving the shower (cleaning, washing the dog), used to take 3x if not 4x as long.
My dog used to whine the entire time in the shower, now, not a peep. He used to run and hide under the table when he knew it was time, and now he runs right in.
Make sure to buy a hose, this does not come with one, and I took the screen out. If it breaks and the warranty is void, I'll buy another one...totally worth it. Probably the best amazon purchase I've made in the last 5 years.

This shower filter has a very good quality for three reasons: First, it is an economical product. For example, I can take a shower with less shampoo because it has healthy minerals which protect the hair and skin. This feature makes my hair and skin cleaner. From my perspective, I like this feature since it helps my hair to be healthy. Second, it has really good water pressure in comparison with other similar products. Finally, this product has a great price because I bought another product; with the same quality at a higher price. In short, you should try this product, and you can find its quality.

I have small problems with it, but overall, it is so useful. First, it needs other equipment to link this shower filter to the original shower. Therefore, you should think about good equipment to work well. Second, you need to change this shower filter every six months, and that’s hard on your budget. Overall, this shower filter is really good; you can ignore these problems.

This is a high quality product that is easy to install. I have terrible handyman skills and the instructions are super easy to follow. I DID have to replace one after two years. The hose cracked in an area and the water was starting to smell even after cleaning so I decided to replace it. I bought the same one because it came with everything I needed, including a small amount of plumbers tape which helps with preventing leaking.

I'm very happy with this piece. It works as advertised and goes up with about ten minutes of work. My only knock is the limited durability of the last one I purchased.

The whole thing is made of cheap plastic with a chrome finish, but it was easy to install, no leaks and looks good...I will see how it holds up to daily use...and it is a good value for the low cost. I like that it gives an extra holder, so you can put it down near the bathtub too. I tried to remove the water restrictor, in accordance with the instructions, but was not able to do so...but I still had good water pressure so that is okay.

I really enjoyed this product when it worked. The shower head works very well. Installation was very easy and came with everything you needed (including plumbing tape that was optional). The stainless steel hose was very nice until it broke after 3-4 months of light and gentle use. It was never dropped and the only time it was removed from the holder was to clean the shower. I have noticed other users post similar pictures of the break so I believe it may be a design flaw or common defect. I have email customer service yesterday but have not heard back yet. In the mean time showering will be unpleasant. I hope they resolve this and send me a better hose so this doesn't happen again. The shower head works very well.

Edit: Interlink Products emailed me within a couple days and promptly sent out a replacement hose using USPS 2day priority mail. Service and support is a very important factor for me when purchasing any product. I've since replaced the hose and I'm once again enjoying my showers.

The most intense spray setting works quite well for us, allows us to get in and out of the shower quickly. The "soap up" valve in the handle also works although when your hands are soapy it's extremely hard to shove the valve back on. Saves the water which is why we replaced our old (much loved) one. Wish the "soap up" valve was far more easy to use.

This is my third time purchasing this product. For the price, I am pleased with the product's longevity. The first one lasted over a year of heavy usage but after being dropped on the shower floor too many times the plastic housing was chipped and leaking. Make sure to clean the silver plate where the water comes out once in a while because the tiny holes get minerals built up behind it and obstructs flow. Would likely repurchase again when necessary and highly recommend to others without a filtered shower head for an affordable price.

I really like this 'ZenFresh Filtration Shower head for dry skin'. After only one shower with it the moisture content in my skin is already, I'd say, 80% improved. Also, with my old 'rainfall' type Shower head I always ran out of hot water. I thought that was the price I'd have to pay if I wanted high volume output. But I must admit, this Hand held with it's tiny holes and gentle output does a great job both wetting you down and rinsing you off. now I just have to figure how to order replacement beads when these dissolve away.

The shower feels great with a lot of pressure, almost too much for sensitive areas like the face. The only problem with having so many small streams of water is that when you get in the shower there seems to be a cold mist coming off at the edges. This is only a problem just as you step into the shower and only if you really don't like cold. It doesn't bother my husband at all. We have very hard water with a lot of sediment and haven't had any significant problems with clogging. Occassionally, one stream will shoot off to the side slightly but it hasn't been bothersome at all.

However, showerhead resembled the ZenFresh one, so decided to try it.Well, after 3 months, I can honestly say I like the flow of this showerhead. Although not an adjustable spray, it is strong and has considerably improved the shower experience (we have low pressure and hard well water). Wife thinks it conserves water because she is able to take quicker showers due to improved water flow. Great for washing and rinsing hair.Cons: The housing is plastic (very cheaply made), so I do not expect it to last long. In an active family household, this may not be practical. But for the wife and me, it's fine.Pluses: Improved water flow for washing/rinsing. Easy to take apart and put together (I know, I dropped it and had beads everywhere; luckily, housing didn't crack).Cannot comment on water softening ability. See no difference - we have whole house water softener installed.

This shower head is great, but it still only a 4 star. I do really like it though.

To start with, the spray pattern is absolutely awesome! It's so FINE, so incredibly SOFT, and FULL. The most concentrated area is right in the middle where every other manufacturer seems to think we want a big hole. And something I've never considered before; it's quiet too. That was a big shock the first time I used it.

And yes, as others have stated, the pressure is great. I am on a private well and the pump has a fairly wide pressure operating range. That does not phase this shower head. I'd say I don't even notice a difference, ever.

Now the only thing that keeps it from true 5 star perfection for me is the fact that the spray head is only 2.5 in. True nirvana for me would be this shower in a 4"-5" diameter range. I'm not a big guy, but the larger spray diameter would be welcome to get more more of me under the spray pattern at once. I need the majority of me getting spray at one time. Sure, it would use more water, but sometimes you need tradeoffs for true showering perfection. Hopefully they will market a larger one.

Do the beads work? Hell, I don't know. Possibly. I think I do initially notice a bit of a difference. So that's good too. But I do have soft water to start with. But yeah, they might actually be making a difference.
Finally, at 20 something bucks, even if it somehow doesn't last or you think your beads have had it, it's not going to break the bank to replace it with a fresh one every year or two.

I'll keep using this one but I'll be eagerly awaiting a larger version.

I purchased this HotelSpa handheld shower in April 2015 and had it installed by a plumber (along with other plumbing work). It worked well for the price, $30 and lasted 2 years. The hose just started to leak at the end that connects to the shower head. The hose split and can't be repaired. There is a lifetime warranty but you have to send it back to the manufacturer which would cost almost as much as buying a new one. And I would have no shower. So, I will just buy a replacement hose for ten bucks and call it a day. Hope this review helps.

This is a nice shower head that looks good and is easy to install. Everything you need, including Teflon tape, is provided. The issue is the pause switch. The switch is almost impossible to engage when the water is running. By the time I get the switch to work, the water has run so long that I might not as well have bothered to try, and this is after using both thumbs. Even though the HotelSpa AquaCare shower head is a good one, the main reason I bought this particular model doesn't work as it should. I'm still experimenting to try to find a solution to this annoying problem. I've read reviews and responses to questions, and I know I'm not the only purchaser who is experiencing this issue. Hopefully soon, I'll discover a solution.

I want to be able to give this a 5 star review but I can't. The shower head itself is awesome. Water pressure level remained in tact and the many different stream choices make it a wonderful experience, especially for the low cost. However, after about 5 months of use, the inner hose at the wand broke. Its very thin and for whatever reason it busted. Thankfully my husband is very handy and had stuff to repair it. It works great again but it shouldn't have broke in the first place. I'm pretty disappointed in that. I probably wouldn't buy this one again because of that as many people aren't as handy and wouldn't have been able to fix it.

I would love this if the pause switch was easy to use. I have to use both hands and every ounce of strength I can muster to push it up and down. I did read other complaints about how difficult it was, but I didn't realize how truly extreme it is. I thought it would loosen up over time because I use it so frequently during my showers, but instead... it became more and more difficult to the point where it is physically impossible for me to move anymore. I may have just broken it... ?

I've noticed some have complained that the pause switch doesn't totally stop the flow of water. I've used several shower heads over the years with pause switches or buttons and they aren't designed to totally stop the flow. It is normal to have a slow trickle of water still flow.

I have no complaints other than the pause switch.

When I first received this showerhead and installed it, there was water leaking from the pause switch on the handle. I contact the company about this, and they said that definitely shouldn't be happening and sent out a replacement showerhead to me.

The new showerhead that I received doesn't have a pause switch, and instead of the chrome face where the water comes out, it's looks like grey plastic with black nozzles. It's definitely not as good looking as my original showerhead was, but it doesn't leak and that was most important. Also of note was that the original showerhead was missing the flow restrictor, whereas the new one did have it. (Since the water pressure was adequate, I decided to leave it in place)

I don't know if someone over there inadvertently sent me out the wrong replacement part, or if their solution to a leaky switch is to send you one without a switch, but considering that the switch is a big selling point to many, it's worth mentioning. HTH.

I received my shower head recently. The head does not change spray pattern. My first use was without the silver shower head plate. It worked fine and I noticed a difference in how my skin felt afterwards. The water in my area is very hard and this made an immediate difference. My skin cries for moisture after showers, but not with this shower head. That's why I bought it, so it fulfilled that promise. Before throwing the box away, I noticed the silver disk has tiny holes in it. I originally thought it was for decoration. I put it on and water started shooting out the side of the shower head. I've taken it off, tried to find a problem area and can't see one. I'll probably leave it off since it works fine without the silver disk and this will reduce pressure on the shower head.

To me, "High-Pressure" implies that I would feel more pressure than I did with my old hand held shower head. I'm not getting it from this one. The stream looks like the one in the picture, but it doesn't feel "High-Pressure".

And, as far as the water feeling different....I'm not getting that, either. (I will say that my water is catchment --- not chemicals added --- so maybe the little pellets don't have anything to remove.

It is interesting to watch the water pass over the pellets, but not enough to justify the price.

All in all, I wouldn't say this product is any different than the shower head it replaced.

I bought one of these for my mom because her shower head was starting to collect black mould and getting all clogged up with calcium deposits -- darn that California water. Because she has recently developed a touch case of eczema/psoriasis/skin issues, I was super excited to find a well-priced product that seemed like it'd do just the job for a long-needed upgrade. While I haven't personally tried it myself, she absolutely loved it! She said that she needed to lower the water pressure in the shower because this shower head made it so much stronger, and she absolutely loved how soft the water had suddenly become -- and even wanted another one for her second bathroom! Being her favourite (and only) daughter, I bought her a second one. ;)

Unfortunately, after about 20 days of use, the first one that she installed broke!! The front facing came off when she turned it on, and all of the beads came spilling out, falling all over the floor. What was supposed to be a relaxing at-home spa day became a cleanup nightmare of having to make sure the little beads didn't fall down the drain. :( Luckily, the second ZenFresh fixture had arrived earlier this week and she wasn't able to install it in the other bathroom (the current fixture is a one-piece with connected hose, so she couldn't just exchange shower heads), so she was able to replace it quickly, but we are very disappointed about how quickly it fell apart.

Thus, three stars for doing what it says on the tin but not being made of great materials. Will be contacting the company to see what they can do about this. Super bummer!

I really, really liked this shower head. Unfortunately after about a month the spray became painful as I've seen in other reviews. Not long after that I discovered the cause was hard water buildup when it blew the metal plate off upon being turned on. I'm not sure you could take it apart to clean it to prevent this from happening. I understand the holes are tiny to give the awesome water pressure this shower head delivers.

Had to Return. Beware if you have a small hot water tank that is prone to running out of hot water, if so and you like a hot shower then this may not be the right fit. Because the stream is so fine, you HAVE to run your water a bit hotter than you normally would. If I take a very long shower I normally run out, or if my son bathes and I take one right after but with this I ran out several times and had to rush when shaving, conditioning my long hair. I like the water conservation but don't like freezing cold water! Because of that, no way would this work. As others have said there are a few streams that randomly go elsewhere, someone complained about it getting in his eye...that wasn't an issue at all but I did notice it as well on my unit...Didn't really care. I was actually looking for a fluoride-free filter and I am almost positive this is not one, chloride yes but fluoride usually needs a special filter and this only has the two different types of rock as well usually if companies put in the extra effort for fluoride removal, they will advertise it specifically which this company does not. I choose it however because people were saying it was like clouds, rain, best shower ever....I don't know about all that. It's cool because it is a fine stream and for such a fine stream, still gets awesome pressure which is needed for long hair. The water does feel softer and I liked it, but after some people talked it up so much in the review....I don't know, guess I was expecting more of an amazing, zen experience! If you don't care about removing fluoride and just want chlorine and other first stage filter chemicals removed, and you are not prone to running out of hot water because you will indeed need to run the temp a bit higher to get whatever level of warmth in the shower you are normally used to, then yes it is a cool shower head with a soft, fine stream yet enough pressure. I had to return mine for a fluoride free filter, running out of hot water is what ultimately did it for me, maybe a finer stream is not as worth it as initially thought!

my house has low water pressure. this shower head did not help the situation. Even removed restrictor but did not help. I did use this for 2 yrs. and it worked fine but finally got something else because I always hated the low pressure.bought the original waterpik- not very attractive but has much better pressure.

I bought this for my kids so they can take shower and are able to shut off water when they are soaping to save water and not splash all over since they can't reach up to put it back in the holder. The switch is REALLY hard to put in the off position. Even I as an adult have hard time doing it when water is running. So it failed with the primary reason why I bought it but I figured I will just it as a normal shower head. Now I am getting annoyed with a different problem - pressure of water dropping time to time. Only way to get my water pressure to be back to normal is to put switch in off and then back to on and it gets a bit better but not 100% good as when it was brand new.

Maybe i got a faulty one but I will not buy again.

Purchased this 6 months ago and it worked pretty well for the price. Up to this point the only thing that we had a problem with was the water pressure. Yesterday while I was taking a shower it just broke on me and sprayed water all over the place. Guess what I'm trying to say is... you get what you pay for.

Update: The seller contacted me and said they would ship another, I'll give more stars when it arrives!

Showerhead was working great for a couple weeks. Good flow and no leaks. Well, one day while showering, the metal part of the hose became detached from the showerhead and the rubber underneath expanded like a balloon and popped. Water going in every direction. So not sure if it's just cheaply made or a defective unit. Sending it back for refund and buying a different brand.

It looks nice. Clean and modern. Ncie feature with the pause button. Bad news: Signifacntly lower flow than expected. Wanted to like it but couldn't stand the lower flow experienced. Went to remove the flow reducer that the manual said it had but guess what? It didnt come with one and I already had max flow. Had to return it.

Nothing special. I am NOT impressed with the water pressure that this head creates. In fact, it's actually less than my original shower head, so I didn't even use it!!! The whole reason I bought this head was because of the glowing reviews of the incredible pressure increase people experienced. I tried it with and without the "water saver" gasket and saw very little difference between them. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of water flowing through this head but it is a soft "airy" kind of water pouring over you. I thought that it would be like using a pressure washer after reading some people's reviews here. Perhaps their previous shower heads were partially clogged and putting the new one on was a vast improvement for them. This was not the case for me! My original head is like a fire hose compared to this thing. I can not attest to the amazing hair feel because of the minerals as I did not use it for more than one shower.

I loved this shower head when I first purchased it. Now its time to get a new one.
A couple months after using it, I noticed the first crack. It was on the bottom of the sprayer and honestly was no big deal. The amount of pressure that came out was still fantastic and felt great. Now about a year after purchasing, I am fed up. The most noticeable one is right on top so it sprays EVERYWHERE when I am showering and soaks my entire bathroom. I left two stars because it made me happy for a good half year or so before it started to break down.
I think the cracks form when you turn the pressure too high. Maybe those who still plan on buying them can just turn the knobs carefully? I personally would just get a different brand.

Product worked great for the first month and a half, with excellent use of water pressure compared to the shower head we replaced. Unfortunately, the quality of the product is very cheap and seems to be all clear or silver plastic. I would have been fine with the apparent flimsiness because of its excellent performance, but we got a leak today on the shower head right in the middle. Since it isn't in a spot where the head is disconnected, we can't simply tighten it or use extra Teflon tape to seal it up. I had to take it down and put the old shower head back, and since it's a month past the return date, we're out $25.

After three months this ZenFresh shower head started leaking bad, spraying up over the shower curtain. The leak is where the head cap screws on. Maybe it's designed with a screw-on head so you can clean the tiny holes if you've got hard water. I don't dare screw it on tighter because it already seems to have a crack in the clear neck plastic bend. So, now that I can't return it to Amazon, I think I just need to buy another more traditional shower head. I think you're just gambling with the quality of these when you buy one, whether you'll get one whose parts fit together in the right proportions with the loose manufacturing tolerances.

Before it started leaking, it did feel really good on my scalp, and washed out the shampoo faster than my other "rainfall" shower head. I think it's because of how many little streams of water are coming at you. It's a really nice feeling. And with the hard water we have, I swear I could feel a slight difference in the quality of the water from the beads, an effect beyond placebo effect. So, it's a nice idea for a product, but maybe a company needs to just do a better job than these Chinese-made ones that are all the same that everyone is re-selling from the same factories.

I'll give it 2 stars because it works great. Water pressure is strong, maybe slightly too strong, but still good. I think the filter works well. Shower liner seems to stay cleaner longer. But, unfortunately, it doesn't last. Mine lasted about 8 months. I guess the seam at the shower head bursts and water goes everywhere. All the shower heads I've had before never failed they would just get old. This one would be great if it would last longer. Perhaps they should lessen the pressure a bit and do something about the seams or use metal instead of plastic.

The Hose broke mid shower after owning this for less than 3 months. The entire unit is plastic. It worked well while it lasted but the hose just snapped for no reason. I advise you to buy a showerhead with a metal hose, not plastic.

This arrived and was Installed on Sunday, 1st use on Monday morning. I turned on the hot water to heat. When water was hot, I opened the shower door to add cold water and the hose split spewing hot water into my face.

Purchased this due to all the positive reviews, which I now suspect are greatly fabricated. The shower head is light plastic, like pretty much all of them. Feels just fine. Clicks nicely between settings. The hose felt heavy metal, and sort of solid. We would later find out it was not solid at all. My wife and I loved the way this one sprayed though and hoped it would last awhile. It didn't. The point of failure was the "metal" hose. During a nice, leisurely evening shower I was rinsing off when the metal sheathing on the hose just below the attachment point to the shower head decided to crack. The metal sheathing slid down a bit, exposing the rubber hose beneath the cheap, bendable, crappy metal. The rubber hose proceeded to inflate like a balloon until it POPPED when it caught itself on the exposed jagged edge of the metal sleeve. All showering joy was lost, the evening moving forward was sad and woeful. Thankfully, no soap remained on my body when this occurred so I was not forced to continue rinsing under the erratic spray of the shower head's broken hose. My wife, however, was not so lucky. I had to change the shower head back to our harsh rainwater style backup emergency shower head and she felt the relentless pelting of heavy rain-like water upon her skull during what would have been her peaceful evening shower. We have suffered due to cheapness. I shall spend more on the next shower head as I search for quality.

Terrible showerhead, the default setting for showering is absolutely useless pressure wise while an unrestricted older showerhead can be very uncomfortable in the same shower. It also makes pretty terrible noise that resonates through the walls, pipes and fiberglass shower constantly. The mist setting is kinda cool although it's really useless to shower with and the massage setting is a joke as it's just the jet cone. Low flow, you might as well just use a cup in the sink. I would highly suggest buying a pack of bottled water to bathe with over this in a situation. The pause switch is also completely useless because depending on your blend of hot/cold water it's just going to end up as hot as possible or as cold as possible. The switch also seems to be flawed in design as I'm assuming it creates most of the noise and doesn't turn 100% off.

I would never recommend this to anyone unless you want to make someone's life miserable. It looks pretty nice though, if you want a really cheap showerhead that looks just like this then I highly suggest still not to buy it. If you want to buy it for parts however and use the showerhead as something to hold the bag down in your trash can, it's actually decent!

Really, just save the extra $5 and buy something else. You're not getting a better cheap showerhead just because it doesn't have a brand name. You're getting cheap garbage undeserving of a name brand.

After a very bad day over the weekend (long story short, as I was giving the puppy a bath as the last part of a poopy situation and my old shower head broke) I decided to go ahead and purchase this shower head. There were zero issues with shipping, it came with all of the bits that it was supposed to come with. It was very easy to install with no tools. I went to test the shower head to makes sure there were no leaking connections and there was virtually no water pressure. I know that with my old shower head, some of the settings can feel like there was no water pressure, so I decided to try all of the different settings. Seven settings would be a massive over statement. Two of the settings are exactly the same (when looking at where and how the water comes out of the head, wide with no pressure), two of the settings were nearly the same (wide with no pressure mixed with what seems as though it should have been a mist and a mist that seems like it should have a light wide pressure, but I know it should have been a pulsating focused stream with a light wide constant stream around it). There is a misting stream that gets all over the place and what is supposed to be a pulsating focused stream (which is a joke, no pulsation, and it is not very focused). On a good note, the pause function works great and hardly allows any water to escape. The hose is super flexible and it was shorter than I was expecting it to be (but that is my fault, five feet from a six foot placement seems super short, I should have measured a bit better). The shower head itself seems very light for what it is supposed to offer, and the construction of what it is seems solid enough. I will be sending this shower head back (which upsets me because I have to pay for shipping on the return) and using the broken hose of my old shower head until I can find one that I actually like.

the first one i ordered was great. this one must be broken as it leaks around the sprayer and i cant unscrew it or try try to fix it. it looks like it has been broken when you look into the clear spray head. it is 50/50 if you get a good one or a bad one. i will not order another one. i don't know if i can return it as i threw the box away and used it once.

BROKEN AFTER ONLY 5 MONTHS! Thing busted open while I was in the middle of taking a shower. The has busted open before by loosening up around the spray area, but I was able to constantly tighten this. This time, today, the entire area (PLASTIC!!) busted open, completely breaking . No part of this product is metal. It is a cheap plastic. I thought it was great anyway and didn't care about plastic vs metal, but whatever the make of this plastic is, it is cheap!! Good price at first, but terrible when you have to replace in 5 months!! Definitely looking for a shower head like this made of metal. If none exist, the fancy filtration is *not worth it*. Now I have to take showers with no shower head until my next paycheck. Unreliable product!

JUNK!!!! I bought this shower head because I wanted to filter my water better. I had ordered it on June 19th from Amazon, and my guy installed it a couple weeks after it came in. So figure I had it from July until a few days ago. During that time, the panel that creates the stream of water started going "awkward". Random jets go in every which way. That really isnt my complaint though... but was a pain if you were trying to keep your hair dry. I was dealing with it. My real problem is I expected the actual product to last more than 3 months. It developed hairline cracks around it and literally just cracked open under the water pressure. In just 3 MONTHS!!!! For this price I expected it to last longer. Amazon says Ive had it too long to return it so I suppose im out $20. I cannot find a legit website for them - which is amazons recommendation for warranty. Im pretty sure this is the first one star review I have given. I would say - keep looking. This thing is flimsy junk. If they correct this, I will update.

Update - If you click on "view warranty details" you will notice Amazon has nothing on them - no way to contact them. They recommend you go to their website. When you google their website, you cannot find this product. I did find them (I think) here: http://zenwatersystems.com/
However, there is nothing listed about this shower head on their site. They sell other water related products. Prior to this, I called Amazon and asked them what process to follow. Amazon offered a replacement item. When I was on the phone with Amazon, I started noticing this same exact product is sold under a lot of different manufacturers names on Amazons website. I clicked on other ones and they were loaded with fake reviews. Check into it before you buy. I told the gentleman on the phone Im wondering if I got scammed. He acknowledged the fake reviews happen sometimes and offered me a refund if I would return the broken item at Amazon's cost.

In summary, this thing sucks. But I love Amazon!

I bought this shower head two months ago. Personally I've not noticed a change in hair or skin. We have hard water and get a white deposit on the tiles and glass surround of the shower if we don't clean them after showering. I tried a week without cleaning and had no deposit so maybe there is something to the filtration. But I will say the spray is great, from the softer spray on the outside to the more forceful spray in the middle. I agree with some of the other reviewers that depending on the water pressure the center can be a bit painful, like little needles. Fortunately I'm able to adjust the pressure. The shower head was delivered wrapped in plastic and boxed. I also bought the same shower head from Kingsuper for $8.99 but that didn't have a box. I'd go with the less expensive one - they're the same.

Changed my review to one star. Turned on the water one morning and water squirted from a seam onto the ceiling and shower wall. Maybe the water pressure was too much for it, but it all is plastic. It was nice while it lasted.

I was so disappointed with this shower head. It was like a runaway freight train with little or no nozzle/water flow control. There was an extremely strong/powerful spray in the center, one so strong that it caused the shower curtain to blow in, wrap itself around me, then a very weak shower of water on the outside of the shower head. I tried adjusting it, but with no satisfactory results. As we speak it is in the recycle bin on the curb. I will do my homework more diligently next time and try to find a better product.
