Very sleek and sturdy.
February 11, 2016
Very happy with this desk. I need to have a dual pc setup for work. I have two laptops and a 2nd monitor for each. I also have to sets wireless mouse and keyboard, so I really wanted to 2 keyboard trays to keep the space neat and also be more ergonamic. I was looking for a second keyboard try, but struggled to find one that was cost effective and would work with glass. I found this exact desk, used, on Offer UP and bought a 2nd one, new, here on Amazon. I was able to set it up so that I have the corner desk with 2 keyboard trays. I took one of the other desk pieces and set it up as additional workspace for paperwork, snacks, coffee etc. etc. I still have one more desk piece that I can use, but as this is in my bedroom the space is small. It is working out just how I wanted. Very sleek and sturdy, space saving, and yet ample space for my computers, Great bargain for the price.
Nicer than I expected
December 19, 2015
Great desk for the price. was able to setup in less than an hour, pieces clearly marked to help with assembly. Liked the frosted glass, added lighting on underside to give my son a nice look while he games. Keyboard tray little sticky but freed up quickly after little use. Don't think it was a product issue just new tight fit. designed to have keyboard tray on either side depending on room placement. Below is $20 light kit i used to get multi color accent. LEĀ® Waterproof 12V 16.4ft/5m Flexible RGB LED Strip Light Kit, Multi-colored, 150 Units 5050 LEDs, LED Strip Kit with 44-key IR Controller + 12V 5A Power Supply, IP65, Adhesive Light Strips
Great Desk for Gamers - Black gets dirty QUICK
July 20, 2015
This is a great desk for 100 bucks. I have 2 24" monitors on this thing with a small fan, tenkeyless keyboard and a QCK heavy mousepad.Pros: Large and sectional makes it easy to fit into many rooms. Enough room for 3 24" monitors (this is something I worried about before purchase). Has a cool look. Great for your gaming room. Easy to assemble (about 45 min with two people). Very inexpensive.Cons: If you have a cat that likes to go on your desk - you will notice every hair follicle or piece of litter on the thing. Seriously... It's frustrating. You either need to keep your cat out of the room or clean everyday.I think this desk is the best low-end bang for your buck. I have no regrets about buying this desk - but if you have a white cat I would go with a different color than black.
Battlestation material
March 27, 2015
This desk was harder to bring upstairs than to build. The process is very straightforward - all you need in addition to what they provide is a screwdriver! Though the packing is great, unboxing this was very difficult. It goes to show that they want to ensure your desk comes spanking new though. There is a lot of Styrofoam, so keep that in mind before you stick a box cutter into this. The instructions are very clear cut, but do read them carefully. I was in a giant rush to build this thing, so I skimmed it and in doing so, I missed some lines noting which way the bars should face, which is crucial! It took me awhile to redo it, but still, only an hour or two and I was done, and building furniture is my absolute nightmare! I am a clumsy girl who has a ton of makeup and tools on this desk, but there have been no scratches whatsoever. The desk was exactly as I had expected. I hope to buy another and combine them with my current to make an even more awesome battlestation. I want to put my PC on the desk, but I'm not sure if it can hold the weight, for those who are wondering. I ended up playing it safe and put it under my desk. However, three monitors is surely doable! I heard about this desk from Reddit and it turns out more than five of my friends have it. Do yourself a favor and get this desk!
and they look awesome. But that's not why anyone's going to read ...
December 24, 2014
I currently have two of these desks (black legs, clear tops) assembled side-by-side, and they look awesome. But that's not why anyone's going to read this review. Here's the good, bad, and the asinine.Good:*Looks modern, sleek, and very professional*Sturdy design despite streamlined (very thin) limbs and supports*Plenty of clearance for my legs and shins (I'm 5' 11"). I kick the wall behind the desk before I come near the cross beams*Supports multiple monitors and desktop computers without concern of collapsing.*Provides a surprisingly large amount of work area.*Glass edges are angled to prevent scraping of limbs and chipping of the glass.*Extra of each screw in case of defects.*Superb packing. I ordered from walmart and my girlfriend from amazon. Both boxes looked like they had been dragged behind the truck upon delivery. No damage was found when we opened what remained of the box.*Assembly is pretty speedy. Took an hour without a drill and 20 minutes with one. Keep in mind I had already assembled one when I busted out the drill. I'd expect around a half hour for anyone with a drill reading the directions the first time through.*Phone number and website are provided on front of assembly instructions in case anything is lost, broken, or flat out missing.Bad:*No built in options for cable management. Invest in some zip ties if that's a must.*Limbs are all hollow. Saves on weight (and your back during assembly) but allows you to punch bolts through if you aren't careful.*No options to install drawers, a hutch, or a small cupboard. It is what it is.*You will have styrofoam everywhere when you're done, but at least your glass won't be broken.*The keyboard tray is TINY. It fits a large wired keyboard with number pad and has about an inch of glass to spare. Your mouse and keyboard will be living separate lives from now on.*You will at the very least need a philips head screw driver. I'm sincerely hoping that's not a deal breaker for anyone.*Every part is conveniently labeled with a sticker. The sticker cannot be conveniently removed, especially the large square one on the keyboard glass. You may need a razor blade to remove the stickers on the glass, or cover it up with your keyboard.Asinine:*Glass tops are all held in place by suction cups*Directions don't indicate you can decide which side has the keyboard. Simply swap parts 2 and 4 for part 6 during assembly.*Directions have you build keyboard tray AFTER attaching keyboard support to desk. This means you assemble it from BENEATH the desk. Do the keyboard assembly part of step 5 and 6 immediately after step 2. You'll be glad you did.*A drill speeds assembly up tremendously, but keep in mind the hollow limbs. I recommend drilling 95% of the way, and manually tightening with included allen wrench the remaining 5%.*The provided PC tower holder is supposed to go under the desk. That's fine if you don't mind it sucking up all the dust, hair, and debris on your floor (yay clean floors!). The corner piece of glass can easily support a 15 lb PC tower. We bought these desks to provide enough space on each for multiple monitors, a desktop PC, and an xbox. They delivered with a bit of space to spare. As you can see from the picture I uploaded, you probably will want some zip ties if you're putting electronics on these desks.

Beautiful and Perfectly Sized Desk!!!
May 21, 2015
I love this desk so much since my purchase. Wasn't too difficult to assemble other then you have to switch the assembly on the 1 step of the instructions in order for it to be done correctly. Instructions weren't too hard to follow and it doesn't take that long to assemble. You can use the screwdriver provided if you must but would recommend using a larger sized one. I used a ratchet screwdriver set I own with practically every size attachment included in it. I think I only needed 3 different size attachments to assemble the entire desk. It is very nice looking once completely assembled and can hold quite a bit of weight. I have a 23 inch Flat Panel Computer monitor, Tower, various External Hard Drives, Printer and a 32-inch SONY Bravia LCD TV on the desk. The Keyboard drawer hold up very well if you slide it in and out easily. Don't rip open and close and it will hold up over a time. Collects dust a bit quickly but easily handled with Windex or any other Glass/Window Cleaner. I called the customer service number and asked if it was alright to use that type of cleaner and was told Yes. They advised me to avoid heavy duty cleaners and Bleach. Windex, Soap and Water are all fine to use. The tempered glass really makes the desk look nice as well as the design of the 4 legs. I am thinking of buying the LED lights like another person suggested to make it look even better. I would highly recommend this and it is well worth the cost. This is priced extremely well for something of this look and design of a desk. I think it will hold up extremely well over time if taken care of and not abused and ripped around and such.
Great desk, good quality, sturdy.
December 22, 2014
Excellent quality and very nice looking desk. To address a couple of points I saw in others feedback:1/. It did take about 2 hours for 2 people to assemble.2/. Getting the glass plates to line up exactly the same height does take some finesse but this desk was for our 13yo son and I don't have medical grade OCD (just the ordinary kind we all have) so the 1/16in height difference in one corner of one pane is something jnr can live with... It would be easy to fix by taking out a screw and sliding a rubber washer in to space it if it really irritated anyone that much.3/. The screws ARE somewhat cheap. I have no doubt they will hold up but if you're using a power screwdriver then stop when you're about 1/4" away from endgame and finish the tightening by hand or the power driver will strip the screws the second they're in as tight as they'll go.Overall a very nice desk for a very reasonable price, I'm thinking of ordering one for myself for my home office. Will update later if it bursts into flames or tries to take over the world but for right now... 5 stars.
Exact Same Model As CostCo And $10 Cheaper
May 15, 2014
Right down to the brand name and model number, exact same model as CostCo (and $10 cheaper!!!). Bless their hearts, no sales tax either.A very nice piece. A little challenging to get some of the bolt anchors in the uprights to aline properly, but a small inconvenience. As others have noted, the keyboard tray will only accommodate the keyboard--not large enough for a mouse. When trying to visualize the overall size of the unit, use the keyboard tray as a guide. This is not a show-stopping piece of hardware for a corporate environment, but ideal for use in a bedroom or nook off the kitchen.Well-made, well finished, and the very heavy glass work surfaces are a marvel.Lovely extra large floor coasters--which are perfect for carpeted floors. Very well packed with plenty of Styrofoam, and each piece individually wrapped in plastic. The picto-gram assembly instructions are adequate. When you order this thing, and you should, also order a battery-powered screw driver. Thoughtfully, a small Phillips screwdriver (and a bag of extra-bolts-and-stuff) is included (but will probably induce hand cramps after about 20 minutes of use).As CostCo continues to raise their prices and lower their standards, I now check Amazon before buying everything. Once again, even with many grocery items, Amazon comes out on top. And thanks to Prime, I ordered on a Saturday night and it was on my doorstep Tuesday.
great desk, great price but supremely heavy.
January 31, 2014
if you're anything like me, i'm pretty strong with my upper body and am not a weakling at all. when these boxes showed up, i was shocked at the weight of it and how the boxes look like they took a detour from the mailing office to spend a weekend partying it up in hell. the box was ripped and damaged and i began to become a little worried about the inside since i read many reviews on the condition and having missing parts. still, i relaxed a bit and decided to get to work.the pictures are basic and pretty to the point (don't know why so many complained about the complication... it really isn't that hard and fits like a puzzle) and i used a simple hand drill to make way with putting the screws in.the frosted glass isn't as blue as the picture showed it and i'm extremely glad about that. it's more of a hazy gray but nothing too crazy to worry about. the glass is thick and heavy with 3 different stamps on it that all read 'tempered glass' on it, why have this? really? do you want people to know how tempered it is with the three individual glass tops? all in all, the print is small enough that it isn't that big of an annoyance.this desk was a bit smaller than i expected but in a way i'm thankful for it. it's comfortable to work from but keep in mind that the L shaped style only works on one side. i read somewhere in the reviews that it goes both ways but for the life of me, it didn't want to work. it is with the smaller part first and to the right there is the longer table. the works fine with me either way.all in all, the metalic and black parts don't look weathered at all... well, with the exception of the bottom metalic stumps. these aren't chrome colored but are instead an odd blue color. why the blue? really... it makes no sense. but these things have bumps on them from from the start.so despite some flaws i am in love with this desk. it is beautiful (though not for everyone's tastes), affordable, and sturdy which is just what i needed. after searching for weeks, i got the desk of my dreams. it fits my modern tastes and it is pretty damn comfortable to be around.
Awesome computer desk for the price
February 4, 2013
I was looking for an L-shaped computer desk because I needed some extra desktop work space, and I needed it to fit into a small bedroom that I was using as a home office. I was also looking for something that was inexpensive, with a little style, and that would hold up over time. At the time I ordered this, there were mixed reviews on it, but I spent a lot of time looking for desks of this size and shape, and I didn't find anything better, so I took a chance on it. It arrived in two boxes. While the outside of both were a little beat up, the contents were well protected and in perfect condition. All of the parts and hardware were well labeled with easily removable stickers, and the assembly instructions were very clear and easy to understand. It can be put together in less than 3 hours by one person, and probably a lot quicker if two people were working together. No tools are required other than the ones that were supplied by the manufacturer. Some of the reviews mentioned that the glass tabletops don't match up quite right, but mine matched up perfectly. If you attach the corner glass piece first, you can easily manipulate the larger glass pieces to match up before you tighten down the screws. Be careful not to scratch the frosted underside which is easy to do, and make sure you assemble it in an area with plenty of room to spread out. After it was assembled, I found the desk to be very solid, and the keyboard shelf will comfortably hold a full size keyboard and trackball. A mouse might be a little tight and could end up being a little frustrating to use. The glass top has a very slight blue tint, but it is not nearly as bright and dark a color as the photo indicates. There are no drawers for storage, so keep that in mind when you make your purchasing decision. Overall, this is a great desk for the price, and I am very happy with my choice.
Review Title: Clean, Modern, Professional - Simply Perfect
January 28, 2013
Packaging: The desk arrived in two large boxes: one containing the actual glass surface tops and one for all of the other components. Naturally, I was worried that the glass was going to break during shipping, but to my surprise, they did a fantastic job packaging everything. All the glass surfaces were surrounded by Styrofoam sheets and were packed securely inside a single inner-box which was then packaged inside an outer box. Despite the outer box looking a little roughed-up, all the components arrived in excellent condition.Assembly: The assembly of the desk was extremely straight-forward. All of the individual components are labeled by part number and depicted visually in the 12-step assembly guide. It's worth mentioning that even the individual screw bags are labeled accordingly. I've had to bust out the tape-measure in the past to determine the length of screw X or bolt Y but thankfully it was not necessary for this installation. The guide contains no textual instruction, but each step has been broken down to be sufficiently small and comprehensive. The included stub screwdriver will suffice if you are without any tools, but I would recommend a longer handled screwdriver for added torque. As others have mentioned, it is important that you do not fully tighten the frame until after you have laid the glass surface tops down. This will allow you to make any necessary adjustments to ensure the glass tops lay down flush. I am definitely NOT a handy-man, and the complete assembly only took ~ 2 hours.Functionality: I am using this desk as I type this review and it feels very solid, but I certainly wouldn't stand on top of it. This is my first corner-desk, so I love how much room there is.Aesthetics: Minimalistic, clean, modern, and professional - these are just a few of the words I would use to describe this desk to anyone. "Tempered glass" is printed on the corners of the desk in a white font - I hardly notice these labels, but they are totally unnecessary. Also the glass color is not as "blue" as suggested by the stock photo.

Great Desk for the Price
May 24, 2017
Overall this is a very nice looking and okay feeling Desk. Without the glass on the desk it is fairly light due to the material the desk is made from(guessing aluminum).Shipping:The desk arrived in the standard factory packaging which provides okay protection during shipment. If this box were to be punctured on the top there is a chance that the glass which is he top layer could be shattered. There were also some painted metal pieces that were scratched during shipment.Assembly:This desk took me about an hour, working alone, to put together. The instructions are as clear as you would expect there are some doubts (keyboard sliders and whether some parts are upside down). But overall very easy assembly. There is one factor that does worry me. This was the fact that I had to loosen two supports for the main glass to fit. I am actually a little worried that one day I'm going to walk into the office and see a bunch of shattered glass and a broken iMac sitting on the floor.
Walker-Edison metal/glass Desk.
April 3, 2017
I really like this Desk! It fits really well in the corner. I like that it's glass & metal. Easy to clean and very clean lines! However, I couldn't give it 5 stars! The directions weren't as good as they should be. Had to take it apart several times, due to the directions not clearly stating which way to place certain pieces. And the photos weren't as useful as they could have been! As to the under drawer for the keyboard; it's useless for my keyboard! I have an ergonomic one, which is too large for the space. If it were about 1 1/2 - 2" deeper/lower, I could use it. The space is even too narrow to put my mouse on, and use. Now it's just a shelf when I need to set aside papers, etc!Otherwise, it fits the space and does the job well. I have room for my big printer I got, and plenty of room for everything I need, and more!
Good for its purpose
March 10, 2017
I really like this little desk. I got it as an extension to add on to the end of the same model's "L" shaped corner desk (here: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B001FB5LE8/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1)It's no frills and pretty simple - but I needed something pretty minimalist to set up my workspace for my home office. It shows smudges fairly easily, but that's to be expected with a black glass-top desk. Certainly not docking anything in that regard.Assembly is pretty straightforward. Just be absolutely sure you're orienting the pieces exactly as they're show in the instructions (sometimes you have to peer pretty closely to see what side the drill holes for the screws are facing, it can be easy to get things turned around when you have dozens of pieces of desk and hardware scattered about trying to assemble things). Also when assembling, you may want to keep a rag / paper towel / baby wipes / similar around, as you'll almost certainly end up with a little bit of grease/lubricant on your hands from putting together the sliding rails for the keyboard tray. The price is reasonable, the seller shipped it timely, and it arrived on time and in one piece. It's not spectacular (what I try to save 5 star ratings for), but it does what I need, and looks nice.
Well worth the price.
November 5, 2016
Four years and still nice. I got this November 2012. If you do scratch the underside of the glass, however, then you will see it on the top as well. This is because the glass itself is transparent, but the underside is layered with black paint/paper. This makes it opaque (do not confuse this black table with the smoke variety). It currently supports over 100 lbs of monitors and massive vesa monitor stand (since July 2015). Cable management is a bit tricky, since this is a very "open" design (see my photos). In its life, it has been disassembled, moved across the country, and reassembled. It also supported, at a time, a 25 pound UPS and an equally heavy desktop on the left and right glass (in addition to the monitors). A 10 pound cat walks all over it too.To view larger photos, open the review (https://www.amazon.com/review/RB0TEXACKJC9R). Hover over the image and a "bigger" image will float/pop up. Over over that "bigger" image, right-click, and select "open in new tab". There are currently 10 photos. If photos are missing, it's Amazon's fault (wait and refresh).
Great desk, terrible directions
April 10, 2016
Great little desk for under $100. The only thing stopping me from leaving a 5 star was the instructions-they were not good. I had to remove and reinstall multiple pieces from putting them on upside down or backwards (some was user error but the directions were pretty rough). The pictures were not very clear and you don't realize til the end what is upside down. The keyboard tray was the worst part, very little instruction. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble, would have been considerably less if I hadn't put so may pieces on wrong. Once finished however, I am very pleased with how sturdy the desk is and it looks good.
easy to modify to suit your needs
March 2, 2015
This is a great desk. It was very easy to put together and seems to be quite sturdy. As you can see with my pictures, if you have limited space, it can still work as a "L" desk. The two long pieces are completely separate and can be put together in 10 minutes each. You can simply put together the two long pieces in the area without the connecting corner piece. It is also easy to modify. The keyboard tray was too small for me, as it might be for others, so I decided to use the keyboard tray parts and make it into a monitor stand! You can use the frame of the keyboard tray and simply drill 4 holes into the corners and screw little legs on through those holes. If you want a great looking desk and easy to use and modify to suit your needs, this is the desk for that! Highly recommended

Solid Office / Gaming Desk
November 28, 2016
Solid Corner Desk. I have been using this as my office Desk for over a year. It has been a very solid purchase. The Frosted Glass is a nice touch, very nice looking desk and is large enough for my 4 Monitors. The Desk was not the easiest thing to put together, but all the pieces came without any issues and plenty of instructions. You basically build the two main pieces and then combine them together, so it takes some time to get it all done. The glass is thick enough, that I don't have any concern putting any equipment on the glass. It has been a good purchase.Only reason I don't give it 5 Stars. It doesn't come with any built in Cable Management Solutions.Once I wired up all of the equipment on the Desk (Laptop / Desktop / Monitors) it is difficult to hid the cables if you plan to have your desk visible.
I did not receive the CPU bracket just like many others and it is why I only rated ...
August 16, 2016
I read all the comments before I bought the desk, so I knew going in that it might be a little difficult to assemble. With that being said, I finished in about 2 1/2 hours and only needed assistance at the end to position the glass because of its weight. For the price I paid, this was a very solid desk, and it is everything I hoped for it to be. We did use one washer to level the biggest piece of glass but because of the other comments, we were prepared for it. I still need to insert a shim at one corner to bring the glass edges together, but it is minimal and I can live with it until I get around to doing that. I did not receive the CPU bracket just like many others and it is why I only rated this a 4 - false advertising in my opinion, but otherwise I am satisfied with my desk.
No computer stand as pictured
June 5, 2016
This desk is sleek, looks great and relatively easy to put together. When I ordered the desk, I was under the impression that the little computer stand was included since it is shown in the pictures. Mine did not come with one. Also when putting together, make sure not keep the screws loose until you get the glass and the legs aligned properly! I had to do some minor adjustments to get everything alinged perfectly before tightening down the glass tops.Pros:Looks great (especially with led accent lights).Instructions are fairly easy.Sides and keyboard tray can be swaped to either Table.Cons:Alignment took a little forced nudging. No Computer stand like in the pictures.
Great desk w/ slight modifications!
February 26, 2016
I agree with the above positive reviews. The desk looks great and is sturdy! One of the glass sections arrived chipped and customer service through the manufacturer is currently sending a new one. Fast and great service! Be sure not to contact Amazon first if you have any problems, follow instructions provided in the packaging, this was almost my huge mistake! I'd also like to echo the need for several rubber washers to level the glass portions appropriately ( I believe I used four). Also, I modified the corner section slightly. The space in between the glass panels was nearly non-existent, so I placed multiple small stainless steel washers to create approx. 1/4 inch spacing as shown below ( the rear corner attachment will require more washers than the front due to the design of the steel bracket, I used approx 20 small washers to create the 1/4 spacing I liked). Doing this also prevents the glass from potentially grinding when moving or adjusting.
A-minus desk; A-plus price.
August 9, 2015
Great price; very nice design, and generally quite sturdy materials. A couple of the alignments were slightly off, which may reflect the jostling associated with having parts shipped across the Pacific, or may be a reflection of less-than-perfect factory standards. But in one case, some extra tugging and oiling helped get a sticky drawer slide to work properly. In the other case, a home-made washer got the glass top to rest just right.I'm the guy who wanted to retool this desk to fit in a non-traditional corner with a 121-degree angle. (Not 90 degrees.) This does require getting a glass shop to cut a custom junction piece, that needs to be held in place via some new, wooden mounts. But it's totally doable -- and it produces a nice modification if you have similar needs.
Great L-shaped desk with Thick Glass
January 22, 2013
UPDATE (27Feb2015) - Still using this desk. It is showing some slight wear with a few surface scratches in the top of the glass, but otherwise has held up well. The glass is very thick. Setup took about an hour. It came with the tools you need but I used my own anyway. The measurements advertised are spot on. As you can see in my photos, I have it in a tight area (sun room). I went and also added some IKEA led lights under it for effect. Other than that, there's really not much else to say except the packaging was great and the desk shipped from Florida to DC in 2 days. Amazing!

good desk for the price
September 22, 2017
good desk for the price, but it could be a little sturdier, i feel a little suspect putting thousands of dollars of equipment on it, will probably replace it with a sturdier wooden one in the future, for now it does the job though, personally if I was ordering one again I would pay a little more for piece of mind. Also it is a bit short on the length side so if you like having your keyboard and mouse on the same level its a tight fit
Keyboard slideout DOES NOT have space for a mouse and a full size keyboard, DIFFICULT TO ASSEMBLE, but once together decent desk
September 4, 2017
Difficult to assemble, the keyboard drawer especially. I finally gave up and just used yarn to keep the two arms from falling away and dropping the glass part.Pros -Once together, it feels solid, and the size is nice.Convenient size, holds desktop, two monitors, and a printerCons -Difficult to assemble!! I followed the directions carefully but they were not easy to understandKeyboard drawer is NOT able to hold a mouse and keyboard
Mine had a manufacturer oversight
August 27, 2017
Pretty good desk, except for when I was building the desk together. Unfortunately, the one I received was missing a screw hole in one of the bars for the keyboard tray, making it impossible for the bar to stay in place without taping it. I had to tape the keyboard tray with duct tape to keep it on the track. The other thing I would address is the suction cup placements for the corner surface, were too low, so they don't reach the glass to keep it in place.Other than the manufacturing oversight of the missing screw-hole in one of the keyboard tray bars that you attach the keyboard tray bars to, which, I recommend to you as the buyer, make sure you check the parts to see if they are all there.Other than that, I enjoy this desk otherwise. Plenty of space to work on and fantastic.
good looking desk but flawed design
June 8, 2017
this is a nice looking desk with a flawed design. just beware that the metal the frame is made from is not a strong as you might think. if you were to tighten the screws too much, as i did without really trying, the metal will bend and distort the frame so that the glass plates will not fit into place. also be aware the glass top is "held" in place via suction cups. this is probably the worst part of the design as the glass plates slide very easily if pressed upon from the sides. since it is an open front and back frame there is a lot of accidental sliding when the plate is bumped. the keyboard tray is only large enough for the keyboard. you r mouse has to find a home on top of the desk. and lastly the spot shown in the photos that the computer case sits is only large enough for a store bought case type. the larger cases will be problematic at the least. i had to pull the desk away from the wall to insert the cables into the back panel because my case was pressed against the wall.
Nice and sleek with lots of room but scratches easy
January 10, 2016
Bought this to replace a single glass desk I have had for years. I was hesitant to purchase something this large and glass expecting it to arrive damaged in some form or another. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it and there was only one small tear on the side of the box. The inside was packaged very nice and tight - lots of padding for the glass. No damage at all! It is easy to assemble and can be combined to make one large 'L-shaped' desk or you can omit the small connecting piece and have 2 individual desks (only 1 keyboard tray though). I purchased the black glass and it is nice and sleek looking with lots of room. It also does not take up a lot of room. The only negative comments I have is about the keyboard tray. I was disappointed in it. It is very small and does not extend out far (part of it stays hidden under the desk). If you have a large wireless keyboard or one with lots of bells/whistles it will be too big. A lot of the top keyboard keys will be hidden. However, if you have a regular computer keyboard it will fit fine - they tray will just not extend far. Overall, I am very happy with the packaging and the desk itself.1/15/16 Update to previous review. One more disappointment - I changed my review from 4 stars to 3. I just completed arranging the desk and everything on it the way I want and I noticed that it scratches VERY easily. I had a small desk lamp that I moved from one place to another to just clean the glass and noticed that when I moved it back to its original place there was a scratch from where I had moved it. Ugh! I also found 2 other scratches from moving things around. (By moving I mean picking up and placing not sliding) I had to go back and put small coaster size paper under each thing that can scratch the glass (lamp, speakers, pen cup, etc.). It is still a nice desk overall, but with as easily as it scratches from moving items I am not sure how long it will look nice before I have to replace it again. I use my desk a lot and am disappointed in this fact. I am not sure I would have purchased it if I had known in advance.
good table with some big flaw
September 19, 2014
Bought this to use as my computer desk. Delivery was quick, the table came in well packaged ( a LOT of styrofoam so watch out or it will fly all over your house). The instruction was ok, pretty easy to follow but at time it wasn't clear which side of the piece is up or down. Read it through once before starting or you will spend time removing stuff to redo them. Took me about an hour to get it put together. The desk looks really nice, there are a lot of surface to work with, it's a little wobbly without the glass on top but after you put weight on the desk it's quite stable. I'd give this table a 4 stars if not for a major con, the glass surface looks nice but it's a everything magnet. Everything and anything will leave a stain on the glass, putting a cup down on the table? stain, using your mouse? stain, accidentally touch the surface? more stain. For someone OCD like me this is really annoying, I have to wipe it every 10 minutes or so and so far after a few days of use it's not getting better.TLDRPros:cheap pricenice looking tabledecent instruction to set upcan take a lot of weightprovide quite a bit of surfaceCons:not as sturdy as I would likehard to move around after assembledstain MAGNET, everything will makes it look dirty

Great Desk
August 14, 2016
This L shaped desk is exactly what I was looking for my home office with multiple monitors. It took me less than an hour to put it together which was fantastic! Materials appear to be well made. The only reason I gave it a 3 star was I expected to see a pc stand as shown on the picture. Unfortunately it did not exist. Otherwise I am extremely happy with the product.KJ
Not Bad--But Could Be Better
November 5, 2015
Not bad for a desk that falls in the Not-Cheap-But-Not-Expensive category. Looks nice and helps keep an open, airy appearance in rooms where space is not at a premium (like my studio apartment), as opposed to a more conventional desk. Assembly is easy and I did it by myself in roughly an hour (would have been longer without some help from my trusty DeWalt). I think this particular desk would look awesome if it were offered with smoke or glossy black tempered glass tops.Given my previous experience with desks that have keyboard drawers (always the weak link )I already had low expectations for the Techni Mobili L--unfortunately, I was not disappointed. It is TERRIBLE! Rather than rolling out smoothly, it is too stiff and binds on one side, and despite my best efforts, I could not correct this. I took it apart and re-assembled it leaving the screw rails a bit looser. That helped a little, but then the tray rattled and had a bit too much vertical movement. I will most likely leave it off. Also it would have been helpful to include adjustment shims for the glass tops to make them align properly. Fortunately, I had some washers that did the trick nicely, but if I didn't I would have had to run to the local hardware store for them--and the point is you should not have to.
Pretty nice desk
August 30, 2015
Pretty nice desk.Had to put it up facing against two walls though because BOTH metal connecter plates (the one with the wholes in them between the each pair of desk legs) had horrible black markings all over them that I could not remove with alcohol / elbow grease. The tolerances on the manufacturing are also sub par for something of this price (leading me to believe the true cost of materials must be pretty low) as the glass plates don't quite align perfectly which bothers me a bit.
Drink beer, avoid assembly frusterstions.
January 31, 2015
The assembly of this desk is a nightmare....niiiiightmare. None of the metal catch pieces that the bolts tighten into are lined up properly so they require you to align with a flat head screw driver (not included in kit). Secondly the middle glass top piece didn't line up very nice so I had to muscle in the last bolt which took a lot of swearing and grunting. A lot some serious time to assemble this desk. It took me 3 Hours from start to finish and I even used an electric drill. After it's all said and done it's a pretty sweet desk with lots of space. The fit and finish isn't great though. None of the glass plates line up very nice. If assembly was easier and everything lined up nice I'd give it 5 stars.

Simple Quick ReviewFirst impressions1) Package came roughed up2) Desk glass had scratch probably from package being roughed up3) Desk glass was dirty with some type of moldy liquid. ( I was able to clean it off though)Second impressions1) Was fairly easy to build2) While trying to alight the 3 pieces of glass so that they were all leveled one of the larger glass pieces detached from its three glued points -__-3) Not to happy about 24) I read another review about this desk that also had the same issue stated in #2Third Impression1) Desk does look very very nice2) Nice size desk but not overly large and not overly small but that depends on you and your room3) The keyboard tray has some sharp edges so protect your knees by waring pants otherwise your knees like mine will loo like freddy krueger attacked itFourth Impression with recommendation for this product1) I gave this 3 stars because the desk came in the condition it did and glass unglued from metal docking points2) Would i recommend this desk , yes but be warned that you need to be very very careful when installing the glass parts because even with normal care when you try to align the three glass parts you might un glue the supports from the glasss3) The desk is still functional with the problems that a cured since one support is still glued for now4) For the company that supplies this desk please either provided glue with the desk or use glue that is much stronger so the supports stay on to the glass and survive installation
Looks good but some simple fixes could make this perfect
January 6, 2013
It went together pretty easily took maybe 90 minutes by myself. If you can put together IKEA furniture you can easily put this together. Mine came in perfect condition from UPS except for a few edges of the veneer were chipped(I think this more of a manufacturing issue). The glass top is very nice except i wish it didn't have Tempered Glass etched into the top in white. The lettering is visible on the front of the desk. I don't know if this is a requirement but it does take away the high end feel of the desk.I do wish they made the vanity panels out of metal instead of particle board and would have paid an extra 75-100$ for all metal construction. Also the inside of the vanity panels does show a few fasteners which distracts from a high end look. These little things keep it from being perfect. The desk is large and should have plenty of room for most office setups. If the manufacturer charged a little more money and made it all metal I think they'd have a real winner on their hands.

Missing parts, wrong model.
May 11, 2017
Screws were missing, I don't even have the parts for the sliding keyboard. I have 4 extra pieces which do not belong to this unit. I have extra screws and bolts that do not even belong to this desk. I don't have screws to secure the desk onto the legs so I had to improvise. This is what scares me about shopping online for items big as this. I like the desk, but not the effort put into packaging it. I looked online and I may have a totally different model.
Wobbles. Requires DIY support. See picture.
January 6, 2016
This desk was designed for an "L" shape desk, but they decided to sell this separately (I have both so I know). Problem is without the other pieces this desk wobbles left and right even without anything on top. I can't imagine anyone putting a monitor or any weight on top it. Unless you buy the three piece "L" shape desk, I would not recommend buying this solo piece on its own.I did some DIY solution and added support to the bottom. Now the desk is SOLID. Cost me no more than $10 for material. It doesn't look as nice, but what good is a good looking desk that doesn't work?
Good design but not good enough
December 20, 2015
This desk computer desk took extra time to assemble because of poor parts/materials. The hardware does not include essential washers. The washers are needed because it is assembled with hex screws to hold the steel frame pieces together. Hex screws have a small head. That small head moved into the frame pipe when tightened. Afterwards, the desk frame was extremely loose and unreliable.Poor steel combined with missing washers made the assembly a project. We added washers to the black frame for every screw. The silver washers clash with the black frame. The keyboard guides popped the tray frame out when we tested it. The frame holds a glass shelve. You don't want a glass shelve falling onto your legs with your keyboard tray right behind it.We added steel wire to the bottom of the frame and tightened it to keep the keyboard and glass shelve from popping out. Still, I have been using the keyboard with the lightest finger taps I can press. If I move the keyboard to the top of the glass desktop, I loose the space I need to work. The desk has a good design but needed hardware and cheap steel has made this a risky investment. I am an engineer and appreciate good design and execution. It appears someone cost cut this desk to maximize something else. Profit perhaps; at the cost of safety? This desk is not safe for kids. Adding washers is not difficult but the insecure glass keyboard tray should have you think twice about this desk investment. If you do, ask yourself: will the tray hold or will it fall?
Not so great.
February 17, 2015
Well, the desk once it's together, is pretty nice. but putting it together was a challenge. there was a hole drilled crooked in one spot, and another hole was drilled in the completely wrong spot in another place. This resulted in me having to re-drill these holes. fixing the crooked hole was pretty easy but making a whole new hole on the other piece was more of a challenge because there was no way to mark where the other piece met, plus the height had to be perfect or else the glass top wouldn't fit correctly- so I had to do some measuring first.Pro's- Decent quality once assembled. looks niceCon's- Assembly can be difficult if you are not mechanically inclined (I am assemble displays at my work frequently and this still took over an hour for me) it's slightly smaller that I actually expected, but its not that bad. I can't fit my computer in the little corner very well The issue with the holes in the wrong place. If you don't have the tools or abilities to fix that this could turn into the worst purchase ever. Returning this would be a real hassle because it weighs 60lbs and the packaging is a challenge to put it modestly.overall, I would say that I would NOT buy this again and I would NOT recommend this to anyone, especially if they cant drill that hole.

February 1, 2015
Warning, the keyboard tray will NOT hold a keyboard and mouse. Assembly is good except for the near fatal flaw of the keyboard tray slider; you have to detach the two sections using a tab (for both sides). The tab simply does not work. It took over an hour (and getting grease all over my hands) to finally get lucky detaching the tabs. That's frustrating, but you only have to endure it once. The shock came after the desk was assembled and we put the PC on it. The keyboard tray is a defective size; there is no place to put the mouse. Apparently none of the designers actually put one of these together and put a PC on it. It's useless to anyone who does intensive or modest PC work, gaming, etc. Returning it is nearly impossible because the packaging can't really be put back together once the desk is opened either.
Nice looking desk, but quite flimsy
July 23, 2014
Just got this in black for my home office in medical school. The size is a little smaller than expected, but that's my fault as I quickly laid out the dimensions at home without double checking. The desk isn't very deep, and it isn't very tall but you can roughly adjust it with the screw bottom rests.Very attractive in black. Very flimsy. I expected with the metal frame that it would be quite solid, but I am pretty disappointed that even as I type this review it is slightly rocking back and forth due to my arms being on the desk top(the desk is firmly planted up against a corner wall). There's no way I can put it all back together and place it back in the box to return it, although I would definitely do so if it were easy. For now I'm going to attempt to reinforce it and see if it can get me through the next two years. More likely I'll give it away and get a proper desk.Skip this one if you are planning on using this for anything other than leisure.

Structurally Unstable- Do Not Purchase
September 11, 2016
Is this a good desk? Yes, it is. is easily assembled in just a few hours and provides quite a bit of work area while taking up very little floor space. Yet, the desk itself has a crippling flaw that renders it almost totally unusable for me. Whenever even the slightest attempt is made to write at it or the desk is jostled even slightly, it will drastically sway back and forth perpendicular to the direction of it's legs. It is because of this that I will be attempting to seek out a replacement as soon as possible. I strongly urge against the purchase of this product due to this design flaw.
Unelevated, scratched up and very unstable.
April 1, 2016
Not happy with the purchase. Many things went wrong and it all started with how the box was received. Usually the people who paid for this received 2 boxes. I only received one. As soon as I opened the box you can tell how awfully planned this package was. Many things were scratched up and bent and you'll see if you get a chance to look at my pictures. In the end I went with it and see how it goes. That is when things really got messy. The smaller glass is unelevated and the measurement is way off. I really wanted this desk to work, but sadly, it's far to ugly and unstable for it to even work. I have no understanding of what the Last bars are for nor the 12 screws that are left over.l
Shipping practices ruined it
March 19, 2016
The Good:The desk has lots of space, the glass looks nice and it is strong. The desk performs the function I bought it for- which was tying together a corner of my bedroom for all of my computer accessories and equipment. If the desk were in 100% condition, it would be very visually appealing as well. Assembly was also pretty straightforward with the exception of the keyboard slider. I had to bend one of the notches on the rail to fit the screw in. The way the directions read it is physically impossible to put together without doing that. The Bad:This company must do absolutely ZERO transit testing. I've never seen worse packaging in my entire life. In order to fit everything in one box, they skimp on the insulation. The very thin white packing insulation gets chewed up by all the pieces that can move. When I unpacked it, I had to vacuum tiny insulation up four times and I'm still finding it.As for the desk itself, a total of four pieces were damaged, and two of the screw caps for the glass were snapped off, and took a fair amount of the color spray with them. So while I was able to reglue them, there is a clear area around it that makes it look sloppy. The metal and wood used are also very flimsy and cheap. The glass pieces also do not line up, but not in a significant enough way to make me take it apart to fix it.So will I return it? Not likely, I don't have the time to take it all apart and pack it back up, not to mention the shipping cost to mail it back. But to be fair, I was aware of this potential pitfall when I bought a piece of furniture online. The final verdict:If you don't care all that much about the visual presentation, and only need the functionality, this desk will probably be ok for you, if it doesn't sustain too much damage in shipping. If you are visually demanding of your furniture- stay far far way from this, it will infuriate you. Without the atrocious shipping problems, I would raise my rating up to 3.5 stars. Its far from useless, but even further from perfect. If I could do it over again, would I purchase it again? No.
Could be better
January 7, 2015
This would be a very nice unit if everything was as it should be. The corner section is not completely flush with the left and right panels, and the keyboard tray refuses to pull out. All parts were clearly marked, and with two people, it was relatively easy to put together.
You get what you pay for
March 16, 2013
Please be wary of this product. i was looking to save some money and keep style and instead only seemed to get a ton of regret and disappointment. getting a regular glasss table would be way better than these for the simplest of reasons. I had complication all thru construction and the keyboard that is suppose to rool out with ease could not make it a inch without stopping everytime i want to roll it out. I bought thise item twice to build a small office and on both i had the same complications. There is also some grooves in the leggings that have been dug to big and loose so the screws don't fit. over all if these were 100 each i wouldn't have been so upset with how bulls*** it was but if anyone is thinking to bye it keep the return shipping on hand.

Glass Broke

We purchased the desk, very easy to build. Unfortunately the glass shattered already, a little over a month we had it, The only thing we had on the glass was a small monitor.
Hate this desk
October 10, 2016
Hate this desk. I know many really love this desk but in my opinion it is too low of quality for my taste. The keyboard tray is a joke. I'm not a tall person (5'2") and found that it was very uncomfortable. Without the desk connected with the corner pieces it would be very rickety. The desk looks nice but just wasn't for me. Ended up investing in a standing desk for a good chunk of change and haven't looked back. Gave the desk to my brother and he likes it so that is good...

The frame was a bit of a pain to put together - some of the pre-drilled holes did not line up correctly. The glass arrived completely shattered.I would love to have been able to give this a full review based on use, but alas - I could not use it. I had to pack it back up and return it. The entire thing. They couldn't just replace the glass. Terrible.
Item Cannot Be Assembled Correctly
February 14, 2016
This computer desk would be an excellent item for a small space and work well for a large desk top; however, the item was poorly made and the keyboard portion was not drilled correctly. As you know items sent through the mail are almost impossible to return, and if they have not been checked out to assure they can be assembled correctly, the customer spends hours attempting to correct the problem plus incurs expenses beyond the worth of the item. To be able to use the keyboard return, I will have to find someone who has a metal drill to drill a hole for the screw on the keyboard or attempt to use superglue hoping that it holds up as the keyboard portion is pulled in and out to use. Amazon does not provide an easy solution to return this item, and since I did not buy it directly from Eidson I am stuck trying to deal through two sellers. I would not recommend buying items such as this through Amazon, and at this point would not recommend by from Walker Edison.
Avoid, pain in the neck
January 25, 2016
I would avoid this desk. I needed two inexpensive desks when we moved. I got my wife the Origami RDE-01 Computer Desk from Amazon. Folds out and snaps together. No tools needed. Easy peasy, and a good, solid desk. I got this Walker Edison, a little bigger, for me. But it had 19 pieces and 58 screws and bolts. Plus the package was missing 6 pieces. Walker Evans refused to send me the 6 missing pieces weighting about a pound, so I had to ship back the entire package weighing 66 pounds and wait for a second desk. This delay was a big inconvenience for me. Plus the thing was complicated to put together, easy to goof it up..
Tempered glass shattered !!
October 14, 2015
This morning the tempered glass just shattered to a million pieces .. The only reason I can think of is that my 11 yr old left the laptop on whole night and the heat from it was the reason !! Poor quality tempered glass !!To amazons credit they promptly agreed to send a replacement desk , but am still skeptical about the glass !!

Skip this, try Z-line or Ikea.
June 1, 2015
Took two days to assemble by myself, and I'm pretty handy. THE GLASS CANNOT BE ATTACHED IN THE ALTERNATIVE CONFIGURATIONS UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO HAVE THE TRIANGULAR GLASS WEDGE JUTTING OUT A COUPLE INCHES. Overall the pieces do not fit well, and no amount of tightening or leg adjustment over the past two months has compensated for the slow warping of the pieces, which has occurred despite a good flat carpet/underlayer, load that was light and evenly distributed, as well as very little temperature and humidity variation... of course this problem only came about gradually so Amazon can't refund/replace the item. Unfortunately these problems really killed my joy in buying this desk as a piece suitable for art and paperwork functions. I'm going to try Z-line (had good experience with them - very minor issues despite 10 moves in 12 years)... or Ikea fans may want to stick with them instead. Hopefully I can unload this on Craigslist instead, yuck.
I do not recommend this product or this company

The hole pieces did not line up for me at all, so half my slots are not fastened properly. The glass pieces did not align properly and are at three different orientations. The middle bend is not aligned with the two desk pieces. I do not recommend this product or this company.
