So they sent me the graphite steel ones. Did not matter to me. And I love the color. A white wringer washer would have been fine. I still miss mine. But I am pretty sure I will be madly in love with these. Review is late as this is the first day of quiet after the contractors left. Took time to even find someone to work on my small 500 ft sq living space. So the first loads in both worked beautifully. Didn't try anything fancy. Just wash and dry. Quiet operation, can barely hear the super-fast speed spin selection. So many options for wash and dry cycles. Dryer has a steam selection. Capacity of both the washer and dryer is incredible.... now it is EASY to wash a comforter and you can even get a lot more stuff in with a comforter! The dryer door with 2 options as for which way it opens, from the top down or from the side out is pretty neat too. I highly recommend this set of appliances!! May 7, 2016 Simply wonderful to use and look at and what a great size capacity. The buyers of my previous home asked for my 12-year old washer and dryer that were front loading and on risers. They wouldn't have fit in my new first floor laundry room and I gladly gave them up. My how things have changed since I purchased a new washer and dryer. These can almost get the clothes from the basket and wash and dry them without your help. So many features and wonderful extras to make your clothes stay looking new longer and come out wrinkle free. My new iron may not get much use. My plumber was very impressed with the price I paid for this set and the brand, which he said was the best. These machines are great, excellent quality & all the features you could ... October 3, 2015 These machines are great, excellent quality & all the features you could ever want. What used to be 3-4 loads is now one, they are big! Great value for the capacity and quality. They don't come with any of the hookups so be aware that you'll need to order those separately (wal-mart has them on the cheap). I recommend them to everyone! Edit: We've had these almost a year now and they work and look just like new. No issues/breakdowns/service has been needed which I wouldn't expect in the 1st year as it is. July 23, 2017 Exact replacement for the hose bought more than 5 years ago from the big box. They were still in excellent condition no leak or cracked gasket but just want to replace them. Hot and cold water! February 25, 2017 Purchased for use with brand new Samsung washer, which came with the standard rubber hoses that we all don't trust! Better price and availability of different lengths on Amazon than at local hardware stores. Left on under pressure in-between weekly laundry days, but we do shut of valves when away from the house for more than a few days. No leaks or issues since February 2016. Would buy again and recommend for purchase to others. Good Product. October 17, 2016 So far so good! Purchased a Samsung washer and dryer from Lowes and this set of hoses to go with them. Installed very easily and no leaks. It does what it is supposed to do at a good price. Local store hoses seem to get poor reviews and/or are very expensive. Good Value over box store...2for1 April 20, 2016 Fit as expected. Enough length to pull washer away from the wall and replace hoses. Inner diameter half of outer diameter and certainly a lot smaller than the rubber hose being replaced. However, I did not notice a long fill time but did not measure old hose fill time. Maybe I'm not a busy housewife needing to do multiple loads. Well made, flexible, long, but perhaps a litte more restrictive in terms of water flow. April 12, 2016 These feel like really well constructed hoses, and they are long and plenty flexible for any reasonble gap behind a washer. They have really nice, thick, rubber washers, and I didn't have any issues or leaks, and as I removed my old rubber hoses, I noticed one was completely missing the rubber washer - it had rotted away, and the metal itself was starting to corrode in 2 places, and I would think it was a good candidate to start leaking in a major way.One criticism, and I'm not sure if will matter to some - I had just replaced my mixing valve, and it was corroded and jammed with sediment. So when I replaced it, the water flow was tremendously improved - it could really fill fast, hot, cold, or mixed. But when I replaced the old rubber hoses with these braided ones a couple of weeks later, the water flow rate dropped noticeably. I didn't notice any restrictors in the ends, so I'm guessing the inside diamter is just smaller than the old ones.It's not a a deal breaker, and if I hadn't just replaced my mixing valves, I probably wouldn't have noticed, but if you're super focuses on flow rate, I'd try another type. These are NICE!! One has a red-stripe running the length July 27, 2015 These are NICE!! One has a red-stripe running the length...one has a blue-stripe...for Hot and Cold indications. Three Star Reviews: | 7% Awesome machines, bad steam cycle November 11, 2016 I love my washer and dryer. The clothes come out soft and clean. The reason for three out of five stars is the steam cycle. I bought this dryer to double as my iron. The problem is, when you run your shirt through the steam cycle it ends up getting drenched, as in way too wet to wear. I'm still trying to get an appliance guy to come fix it. Houston, what's this button for? March 29, 2016 My last washer and dryer set lasted over 20 years, so the new technology is a little bit overwhelming. There's more bells and whistles on this set than the space shuttle. It's a little disconcerting that the washer makes a low sort of grumbling noise, and uses very little water, but it's doing the job. Bottom line, they're doing what they're supposed to, I think. | 2% Seems Ok April 23, 2016 Seems to be ok. Wanted watts for the name but got hoses labeled " made for Electrolux " in china. November 11, 2016 Cannot say is this exact washer I am posting about.Currently a nation wide recall going on as to Samsung top load washers.Of course we just replaced ours 2 weeks prior to the recall.Our top loader Samsung lasted 4 years, and $200 in repairs.Plus the cost of replacing with new washer just last week ($800)....I would never get a Samsung washer again of any kind.On the good side, the dryer is still working into its 4th year.In the old days, washer/dryer lasted 20 yrs. IMHO much to muchtechnology is involved on the Samsung Front Load washer.AND the simpler model we just had to purchase,in our family opinion THE CLOTHES COME OUT WHITER and or CLEANER!!! | 2% Internal Diameter too Narrow. December 24, 2016 It can be used for washing machines but the internal diameter is smaller than typical washing machine hoses, which slows down the washing machines during fill cycles. The listing should be clear about this. Not a lot of threads on connections February 20, 2016 Ordered ten packs of these Watts. Problem I found with these ones are you can only get two full spins when tightening. Problem with that is done washing machines with the plastic hose connection. The plastic sometimes has a 1/8 inch plastic before you catch it. So you only get one full thread on. June 8, 2017 The best this about this machine was when it finally broke and we had to buy a different washing machine. It didn't matter if you separated your clothes, threw them all together, prayed to Buddha this machine was ALWAYS unbalanced. It could take up to 5 hours to do one load of laundry. As a mother and wife my time is more valuable then babysitting a freaking washing machine! AVOID LG! May 31, 2017 Don't buy LG! I have this washer and dryer. The washer easily unbalances and shuts down. The dryer is a disaster. Two of the baffles (the fins that fluff the clothes inside the dryer drum) detached without cause. I am more than 5 weeks into the ordeal of getting them repaired, all because of LG.The new baffles do not come with the appropriate screws to attach them to the dryer drum. That was not apparent until after the baffles arrived. However LG does not actually know what screws are needed to attach their own baffles to their own dryer drum, so they "guessed" and shipped some random screws which do not fit. Both my professional appliance repair tech and myself have made separate hour+ phone calls to LG service and tech departments to NO AVAIL. They have no idea what we are supposed to do now. Don't buy this product! December 4, 2016 This washing machine is a horrible product that shouldn't be on the market. Don't buy it unless you want to "babysit" it constantly to make sure the load of any size is not "uneven". It either adds more water (some "water saving feature") and attempts to rebalance (usually fails) or it just stops and blinks on the control panel "UE" for uneven load. The cycle times can take up to 100% longer than the original time for the cycle (easily up to 2 hours). This product should never have been put onto the market (nor the same type from other brands from what I've heard from other owners). Have had the washer since 2/20/2014 and have been extremely disappointed with it--no way it met my expectations. Would only buy the old tried and true washer with a real agitator or a front loading type after this very bad experience. My phone call to LG to complain only got me a verbal "we're sorry" and nothing more. Customer hating design. September 18, 2016 It is impossible to open the locked door unless you are some sort of expert I guess. Renting out an apartment with this machine is a really bad idea. Washer it so damn tall! June 2, 2016 I am 5'8" not a petite height. I can barely reach the bottom of this washer to get the clothes out. I have literally had to buy a little stepping stool to be able to reach comfortably down into it. What on earth were the designers thinking when they made a machine so tall and so deep?It does ok but you have to always use water plus and for bigger loads watch it fill, then pause and hit water plus again a few more times.The lack of water and abundance of height make me really regret this purchase. I should have bought an old fashioned type for 1/3 the price.Dryer is fine. | 6% Not the correct product -- Not Watts September 14, 2017 Not the product listed on the web site -- this is not made by Watts. No where on the product label does it say Watts. It says "Made for Electrolux." Only on the outer plastic bag does it say Watts, and that is just a sticker that is placed over another sticker underneath it. I bought the exact same model of Watts hose five years ago, and it is a completely different hose (larger inner diameter, has red stripes on the hot water hose and blue stripes on the cold water hose) -- this one has a smaller inner diameter and no stripes. I called Watts and they said they haven't made washing machine supply hoses for two years, and that I should call Electrolux. I called Electrolux and they acknowledged that it was their part (they verified the part number). I returned it to Amazon. Too bad I didn't pay attention to them before purchasing May 27, 2016 These are much smaller than regular hoses. The fill on my machine is painfully slow now. Inside diameter is ridiculously tiny. March 19, 2016 The ID (inside diameter) at the connectors is about 3/16 of an inch. That is less than a quarter inch opening. It will take forever to fill my Kenmore washing machine. Yes - the coupling will screw on to the washing machine but that tiny hole that the water has to pass through on each end will slow down the flow of water (amount per minute) in the washer significantly. The pressure will remain the same but the amount of water per minute to fill the machine will be reduced radically. It will take about twice as long as normal to fill my Kenmore washer. There are two fill cycles and the rinse cycle so the whole process of laundry will take about twice as long. This is like filling a swimming pool with a drinking straw - it will take forever. I purchased Certified Appliance WM60SS2PK Washing Machine Hose (2 Pack), 60", Stainless Steel and found that they have a 5/16 opening which will fill my machine a little faster than the Kenmore hoses it came with.Oddly enough they are all made in China (naturally!) but the hose from Certified are considerably better made and heftier. Very Poor Quality April 11, 2014 The description states for a washer, a standard washer with standard fittings which they all are. They did not remotely fit my washer or even the faucet which it must. Even the cheap rubber washers were flimsy and very loose. So much for quality control. Keep in mind there is no writing or psi rating on the hoses also they seem very cheep compared to others at the box stores. If you still purchase these washer hoses test them outside first. Size Matters! March 30, 2011 Caution! These hoses are only 5 feet long (60 inches) not 6 feet as stated, and didn't work for my location.
