Cyber Express Everyday were very helpful when the set I ordered in white was not available. So they sent me the graphite steel ones. Did not matter to me. And I love the color.
A white wringer washer would have been fine. I still miss mine. But I am pretty sure I will be madly in love with these.
Review is late as this is the first day of quiet after the contractors left. Took time to even find someone to work on my small 500 ft sq living space. So the first loads in both worked beautifully. Didn't try anything fancy. Just wash and dry.

I could not be MORE PLEASED with this purchase. Quiet operation, can barely hear the super-fast speed spin selection. So many options for wash and dry cycles. Dryer has a steam selection. Capacity of both the washer and dryer is incredible.... now it is EASY to wash a comforter and you can even get a lot more stuff in with a comforter! The dryer door with 2 options as for which way it opens, from the top down or from the side out is pretty neat too. I highly recommend this set of appliances!!

Best washing machine and dryer I have EVER owned. I have to care for my husband who is bed ridden. Thus I have to wash a lot of pillows, blankets, comforters, etc. Washer NEVER unbalances and everything comes out so clean. I am SO impressed!!!

Simply wonderful to use and look at and what a great size capacity. The buyers of my previous home asked for my 12-year old washer and dryer that were front loading and on risers. They wouldn't have fit in my new first floor laundry room and I gladly gave them up. My how things have changed since I purchased a new washer and dryer. These can almost get the clothes from the basket and wash and dry them without your help. So many features and wonderful extras to make your clothes stay looking new longer and come out wrinkle free. My new iron may not get much use. My plumber was very impressed with the price I paid for this set and the brand, which he said was the best.

These machines are great, excellent quality & all the features you could ever want. What used to be 3-4 loads is now one, they are big! Great value for the capacity and quality. They don't come with any of the hookups so be aware that you'll need to order those separately (wal-mart has them on the cheap). I recommend them to everyone!

Edit: We've had these almost a year now and they work and look just like new. No issues/breakdowns/service has been needed which I wouldn't expect in the 1st year as it is. I added a close up photo of both the units buttons and load options.

this seller shipped via truck from W. Va to Chicago in about 2 days. placed the order on saturday. they called us on sunday to
ask if it was okay if they upgraded us to a more current product. curbside delivery. they lowered to street level. driver
and i put them on my furniture dolly and wheeled them into my garage. i installed. they are beautiful.

I like my washer and dryer; the company should elevate the washer drum a couple inches so those of us shorter than 5'4" are able to extract the clothes with ease and not have to get on our tiptoes :)

We were surprised how easy it was to order these. We did our research at the big box stores, we knew what we wanted. The price on Amazon beat it by $300. The only set back was waiting a week for it. That was worth it. The set works great.

I love this set. I searched high and low in local appliance stores and no ones price compared to amazon. I love to do laundry. This makes laundry fun.

Wife loves the washer. She would give that 5 stars. The dryer she gives it a 4. This is because according to her the towels cycle is *too* efficient and doesn't completely dry the towels and she has to rerun the cycle. If there was aa 4.5 stars reading that's what we would have given for the pair

This Washer and dryer is large no doubt but my old washer with an agitator washes my clothes much cleaner, however this product is very energy efficient and has a lot of features and for the price I would expect LG to deliver something more effective not only energy efficient and smart.

I love my washer and dryer. The clothes come out soft and clean. The reason for three out of five stars is the steam cycle. I bought this dryer to double as my iron. The problem is, when you run your shirt through the steam cycle it ends up getting drenched, as in way too wet to wear. I'm still trying to get an appliance guy to come fix it.

My last washer and dryer set lasted over 20 years, so the new technology is a little bit overwhelming. There's more bells and whistles on this set than the space shuttle. It's a little disconcerting that the washer makes a low sort of grumbling noise, and uses very little water, but it's doing the job. Bottom line, they're doing what they're supposed to, I think.

Like all modern washers these are painfully slow (those of us that are old enough know that it used to only take 20 min to wash a load), but in their defense with the turbo wash option this washer is at least faster than a lot of newer machines. The dryer steam option is useless. It literally just squirts water on your clothes during the last few minutes of the cycle and leaves your items wet. I called LG to see if this was just a problem with my machine. They told me the anti static option that uses "steam" is supposed to leave clothes slightly damp in order to prevent static buildup. Sometimes items come out more than "slightly" damp though. There is a version of this dryer without the steam option that is somewhat more affordable - I recommend opting for that version.The pictures here make the glass look quite transparent, but for some reason these actually have tinted glass which is bizarre and largely defeats the point of having glass - unless you are right next to the machine it is difficult to see through the glass to see if there is something in there.Load capacity is great. Dryer sensor works quite well as long as steam modes are not used.

Cannot say is this exact washer I am posting about.Currently a nation wide recall going on as to Samsung top load washers.Of course we just replaced ours 2 weeks prior to the recall.Our top loader Samsung lasted 4 years, and $200 in repairs.Plus the cost of replacing with new washer just last week ($800)....I would never get a Samsung washer again of any kind.On the good side, the dryer is still working into its 4th year.In the old days, washer/dryer lasted 20 yrs. IMHO much to muchtechnology is involved on the Samsung Front Load washer.AND the simpler model we just had to purchase,in our family opinion THE CLOTHES COME OUT WHITER and or CLEANER!!!

The best this about this machine was when it finally broke and we had to buy a different washing machine. It didn't matter if you separated your clothes, threw them all together, prayed to Buddha this machine was ALWAYS unbalanced. It could take up to 5 hours to do one load of laundry. As a mother and wife my time is more valuable then babysitting a freaking washing machine!

Don't buy LG! I have this washer and dryer. The washer easily unbalances and shuts down. The dryer is a disaster. Two of the baffles (the fins that fluff the clothes inside the dryer drum) detached without cause. I am more than 5 weeks into the ordeal of getting them repaired, all because of LG.The new baffles do not come with the appropriate screws to attach them to the dryer drum. That was not apparent until after the baffles arrived. However LG does not actually know what screws are needed to attach their own baffles to their own dryer drum, so they "guessed" and shipped some random screws which do not fit. Both my professional appliance repair tech and myself have made separate hour+ phone calls to LG service and tech departments to NO AVAIL. They have no idea what we are supposed to do now.

This washing machine is a horrible product that shouldn't be on the market. Don't buy it unless you want to "babysit" it constantly to make sure the load of any size is not "uneven". It either adds more water (some "water saving feature") and attempts to rebalance (usually fails) or it just stops and blinks on the control panel "UE" for uneven load. The cycle times can take up to 100% longer than the original time for the cycle (easily up to 2 hours). This product should never have been put onto the market (nor the same type from other brands from what I've heard from other owners). Have had the washer since 2/20/2014 and have been extremely disappointed with it--no way it met my expectations. Would only buy the old tried and true washer with a real agitator or a front loading type after this very bad experience. My phone call to LG to complain only got me a verbal "we're sorry" and nothing more.

It is impossible to open the locked door unless you are some sort of expert I guess. Renting out an apartment with this machine is a really bad idea.

I am 5'8" not a petite height. I can barely reach the bottom of this washer to get the clothes out. I have literally had to buy a little stepping stool to be able to reach comfortably down into it. What on earth were the designers thinking when they made a machine so tall and so deep?It does ok but you have to always use water plus and for bigger loads watch it fill, then pause and hit water plus again a few more times.The lack of water and abundance of height make me really regret this purchase. I should have bought an old fashioned type for 1/3 the price.Dryer is fine.

Can't wash more than one towel at a time

My LG HE Top Load washing machine turned into a rust bucket after a few years of use. It is rusting around the bleach dispenser, the water dispenser, and the detergent drawer. The SS drum is fine. It is mess. Do not buy

Be warned....Total JunkHad mine installed and ran the first load… Unit works for 30 minutes ..then shut off… No power ..no display...no nothing..Tried unplugging… tried cycling the breaker..Unit turns on for 5 seconds, then turns off...Dryer plugged into same outlet works fine.. Called LG … No help .. no solution..4 days till someone will come out…Then they will likely have to order a part..So now I have a brand new washer that is 1/3 full of wash water and clothes sitting in it…DEAD....WITH A LOCKED TOP !!In summary …Total Junk…STAY AWAY

The washing machine started to rust at an inlet to the tub. Looking up the problem on the internet shows this problem happens all the time. The warranty is for one year. After that, you are on your own to find a fix.LG failed to make a washer that will last for years. Lots of consumers have this problem. It is too late for us. You can see for yourself on the internet.

We bought This set about a month ago. The washer is working great so far. The dryer is terrible! It makes a loud grinding or buzzing sound while running. This usually happens at the beginning of the dry cycle and sometimes gets better as the dryer runs ( not always). I'm guessing the dryer isn't going to last long....soooo disappointed!

A washing machine must be reliable. We bought an LG single unit washer in July, today it's dead and the service guy (to check the 'error codes') can't even tell us when he'll be here for a week. He'll call between now and next Wednesday to tell us when he can make it after that. We live in Southern California!!! is there only one guy? So our $1800 washing machine is now serving the same function as my wheel barrow. Full of old soggy stuff and can't be used for at least ten days.That's it for LG. No service, no more products from them. I am very angry that you can't even buy dependable washing machine.
